Oota (food in Kannada). Anyone who's been to Karnataka and had the staple food - Idli, vada or dosa, this is the closest you can get. The idli and medu vada reminded me of those Udupi-Manipal days with filter kaapi. The idli was really filling, loved it!♥️ while the masala in dosa could've had more vegetables.
This is really amazing South Food point which has never disappointed me till now. However, they have very basic sitting arrangement but sometimes it is good for change.
I love their Mysore Dosa and Rava Idli. These are my constant dishes, I order them every time apart from other items.
Rava Idli is very soft, fluffy and satisfying where as Mysore Dosa will remind you the authentic South Indian Dosa. It has perfect blend of chutney that is applied on Mysore Dosa.
Aprat from this, their Sambhar has lots of veggies and with proper consistency.
Green chutney is their USP.
Overall, if are looking for the apt taste in economic prices then this is the place for you.
P.S. They have really quick service.
I normally explore local food when I travel to new places, but this time, I had company from down South, who was kinda adamant on having a South Indian breakfast.
Well, searched for some options on Zomato and found OOTA!
Oota in kannada simply means meals.. Apt name to suit a South Indian restaurant in Delhi. We had dosas, idlis, vadas and coffee and I must say, the taste was close to what we get in Bengaluru. When i probed the staff a bit, I came to know that the owner and main cook were both from Bengaluru. Small compromises in ingredients were easily visible, like use of pumpkin instead of white pumpkin, use of 'Amchoor' (dried mango powder) instead of tamarind.
What I appreciate is the pricing.. Restaurant maintains pricing close to what we are charged in 'Darshini' restaurants down south, when the owner can easily charge premium prices for providing food of different region.
All in all, an above average experience for me.
Ratings:
Location: A 3.5.. tucked away in series of office buildings. it can be located easily only through maps.
Taste: A 4.. Above average
Ambiance: A 3.5.. has just 3 tables outside the restaurant, with basic table-chairs.
Service: A 4.. quick and courteous.
Price: A 4.5.. very economical for the food and taste provided by the restaurant
It was the first time I ordered from this place called "Oota" and am quite happy with their service. I ordered a Masala Dosa, it came along with a red chutney, a green chutney, Sambhar and one more box. I was guessing initially what is inside the box and thought the aaloo mixture must have be packed separately but no! It came with complementary fried rice.
Dosa was quite good in size. I loved the Sambhar as it was so authentic, just like you would get in South India. There was no white coconut chutney but the green one was a mixture of coconut and Pudina, something different to taste. The red chutney was better than the green one.
Coming to the price, it was pocket friendly.
Had a great experience and would love to order again.
I love ordering south Indian breakfast from this place. You could try the dahi Vada and dosas with best filter coffee at your door step. I love this place and would recommend it to most.
Very few places in Noida that I believe have good food, specially because most food here is so spicy! I also usually don't like ordering south Indian food because it gets all soggy.
OOTA makes is so delicious, even the soggy dosa defines love and comfort. Special shout out to the packaging, their red tomato chutney and their sambhar. I don't remember the last time I had such mind blowing and simple sambhar and tomato chutney!!
Now, every time I am hungry, think about ordering out (which is getting rarer and rarer), or am craving, it's OOTA to the rescue!
Keep at it, guys. Your food smells of love and home.
This was my first time to order from OOTA, their delivery was quick and fresh. Food tasted good as i ordered onion tomato utthapam and lemon rice.
Also 1 good thing for Jain customers their lemon rice doesn't has onion so you can probably order that along with their green coconut chutney(you can ask for it separately.
I had ordered coffee.. dahi vada and rava idly. My favourite home food. Just loved the taste...one small problem coffee had no sugar. And dahi vada was too sweet, not like bengaluru taste.. Packaging was perfect. Quantity also amazing. Found the best place for Karnataka's taste. Thank you.
I have ordered many times from the restaurant and the food they serve is very authentic. Great taste and stay true to bringing out the natural South Indian flavours into their dishes. My only issue with the restaurant is the quantity of coconut chutney they serve, its quite not sufficient. If increased then there's absolutely nothing the restaurant needs to work on!
today I ordered via swiggy one IDLA and one masala vada..requested extra sambhar and chutney and they provide them..food was really good and pocket friendly and the red chutney provided by them was best and the quantity of food was really enough for two people.. its a must try place..!!
Today i ordered from this place one Idla and one masala vada ..and request them to send some extra chutneys and sambhar and they really send extra chutneys and in 90inr 2 people eat and their red chutney was awesome..and food is really gud...nice place just that the food packaging was not that gud..must try if u r a fan of South Indian food..!!
For the love of South Indian Comfort Food!!!
Having travelled extensively across India one of the many things I have realised is the rediculious generalisation of South Indian food. For the uninitiated, there is an insane variety available here. What's more, is that each region has its own signature flavour profile & cooking techniques.
But, if you want to summarise South Indian Comfort Food, then nothing beats the dominant visualisation of South Indian food - dosas, idlis, Vadas...
OOTA with its delectable range is everything about simplicity & comfort. It's menu is upfront straight, simple & honest...as it it's food. Idlis are what they are meant to be - soft. Vadas are crispy & dosas are hearty. And boy oh boy I am so happy.
Definitely try their podi idlis & filter coffee.
Authentic South Indian Taste, at Pocket friendly prices.. What else you need?
Superfast at preparing/delivering online orders from Zomato too.
The Onion Uttapam I ordered was big, very nicely cooked, stuffed with crisp as well as soft onion topping, tasty. Sambar contained soft potato and drumstick pieces, had a tangy taste with hint of spice. Green chutney was absolutely classic. Packed with great love.
Loved the taste of onion uttapam n chutney .
Packaging was done very nicely. Sambhar taste can be improved though but overall nice taste and service #total satisfied customer

This place is just amazing, it is a hidden gem in Ganga Shoping Complex Noida Sector 29 do visit once and taste their MASALA DOSA ❤️ which Is one of the best said by our senior chef and blogger.😊❤️
Thank you OOTA FOR SERVING US WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN! 😊❤️
Delivery late by Zomato and Sambhar missing. But food quality of whatever I received was good nonetheless. Won't mind ordering again from them.
Swiggy has come up with new swiggy pop option with limited menu from various restaurant with zero delivery charge or taxes. OOTA was providing three to four combo options for the same and i selected the butter masala dosa combo which was for 90 bucks only.
Packing was awesome, taste was amazing, taste buds could actually taste the crispy buttery taste from the dosa, aloo filling was good too.
It came along with red chutney, green chutney and sambhar which complimented the dosa well.
Keep up the taste guys!!

The food is great always! they need to a bit careful with the chutneys in the heat. They tend to be on the verge of going bad. but the food is really good. Their Podi idli is true love!
Food quality is very good... I ordered Papper Masala Dosa from this outlet. And believe me it was very tasty. This is an excellent place to order South Indian food from .The delivery was super fast. It was complete value for money. I am definitely ordering from here again. But at the sad side the delivery boy was very rude and don't know how to talk...
This is an amazing place to order South Indian food from. I ordered idli & puliyogre and both the things were finger licking good. The idlis were soft and fluffy as cotton. The tamarind rice was super tasteful & mildly spiced. The order came with 2 types of chutneys & sambhar in adequate quantities unlike other places. The idlis were good in size the rice was also sufficient. The delivery was super fast. It was complete value for money. I am definitely ordering from here again.
This was some of the best moments I ever had with a South Indian dish.
I love dosa and I follow the traditional taste it carries from Udupi.. the most simple delicacy with the most simple ingredients you can have..!
These people didn’t make a biryani out of a dosa or something, but they actually made a dosa, as perfect as a dosa can be!
The sambhar had the perfect balance of the tamarind twist and the savoury veggies.
The potatoes were cooked & mashed at ample consistency.
The coconut chutney was well complementing the overall experience.
And the best part was the neatly packed dosa(paper dosa, mind it!!) that amazed me.
Good job guys!
Cheers!!
This place delivers tasty South Indian cuisine. Loved the rawa and mysore dosa but the sambhar was below par. Kesari was a delight. All in all, will definitely order from here again.
Wow...just wow!!!! "THE" best karnataka food I have tasted outside Karnataka...good packaging....the idlis are just too soft and taste heavenly...the best part is the chutneys!!! Yummmm!
Amazing!
I ordered paper butter masala dosa and I tell you, it was one heaven piece.
Now I finally found a place where I can order whenever I’m craving for dosa 👍😊
Being a Punjabi I am very selective about south Indian food. I think I have tried almost all in Delhi but they miss consistency. Though I live in Delhi, I come to Noida to enjoy South Indian at this one.I have tasted Idli, Vada, Dosa's (Rava masala is my fav). I must compliment the Sambar & both the Chutney's also. The food is very tasty and kitchen is almost open so you can judge the hygiene. Giving 4.5 for the food & taste; the missing .5 is for the seating which is outside in the open but food overpowers everything. Its pocket friendly. Its not a place where you may go for a date or to impress a girl. PS: If you are a coffee buff, do not miss the filter coffee!
nice food... loved the south Indian food from oota... thanks
Simple taste south indian Specialy from Karnataka
very reasonable rates and polite staff .Hot cup of coffee and maysor rawa dosa is becoming my weaknesses now a day and my family is also enjoying their food .Best of luck
I have been to oota ... quality of food is awesome .... staff is friendly and polite. ...
I tried maysoor masala dosa .... and the sambhar was the best I tasted in Delhi
Best southy I ever had, oota tune Mera Dil loota. Loved there sambhar and chunteys, the soul of south Indian food.
This place is quite decent in terms of Ambience, food and customer handling.
Decent hygienic food and timely delivery. I ordered vada and Idli which were fresh and tasted great with Sambhar and Red Chutney.
Gosh!!! I m your fan now. I ordered idli and lemon rice from this outlet. And believe me guys it was just heavenly tasty. Idli are soft and heavy too( size wise 😉) sambhar, green chutney & red one are not like running type, like which are serving in most other oulet. Lemon rice is just perfect. They reach or deliver before time. Packing was great by keeping “SWACHHTA CAMPAIGN” on mind, they not using a plastic. And above money value meal.😊😊😊
Keep up the good work guys
✪✪✪✪✪ you deserve this rating.
food is fresh and nicely packed. Sambhar is very delicious. I recommend it. Must try for south indian food lovers.
1) good quality food
2) reasonable cost
3) prompt service
4) packing for delivery needs to be improved slightly.
5) few items were not available in the online ordering menu in zomato
- loved the sambar...
- awesome host!
I feel so happy to finally find a good south Indian restaurant in Noida. Love their butter paper doss, idli and upma! Pricing is affordable and great things is that the dosa get delivered well packed, still remains crispy. Love their packaging, simple and neat. And idli size is good too so one plate I get full having it. Even my dad loves their idli and sambar.
The food is 5 star quality, unbelievably authentic and clean. Beats any south Indian restaurant. Packing was awesome, making it south Indian fast food, no mess.
It's the first time I have come to this very small little cafe with outdoor seating at the back of ganga shopping complex in Sec 29 and boy o boy, what fresh breakfast!! I tried their idli and plain dosa, batter was super fresh and perfectly made. The idlis were soft and dosa, very thin and crisp. Their chutneys are to die for, that's how good they taste! Must go to place, if you are in a mood for some South Indian food.
Awesome food...idli and sambar are simply fantastic... must try. I also had masala dosa...the aloo stuffing reminded me of my childhood Bangalore days... authentic south Indian food. Great taste!
Very good authentic South Indian joint. Amazing idli Sambahr.☺ A must try. Very reasonably priced. Cleanliness is definately being taken care of.
Just had idli here. Was awesome, soft fresh. Chutney and sambar had well balanced spices. Must try here... I'll definitely retry this place.
We went at 6.15 pm and had Onion masala dosa and filter coffee. The dosa was crisp and hot and tasty. The chutney was very good but the sambar requires improvement, it was almost like dal and not sour at all. The filter coffee was good.
For a change... Great and Authentic South Indian Delicacies in DNCR....
Enjoyed various varity of food and coffee at very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.
The south Indian food is good here and must go if you're from South India. I had ordered Mysore masala dosa and it was very good, crispy and delicious. And filter coffee was also good. They also provide home delivery so one can order online also. Location is good, the tables are outside like a roadside Cafe in the open air. It is quite good around. The staff is cooperative and price wise it is moderate. The menu has all the south Indian options dosa idli and rice items. Overall a good one and can enjoy a very tasty south Indian food.
Ordered 3 Masala dosa from OOTA through Swiggy.. Food was awesome.. taste of sambhar was really good.. quality was far more better than other branded restaurants.. will definitely recommend OOTA for delicious South Indian food. Sandosham aayi 😊
T-Boys approved dosas, idlis and filter coffee! I've scoured the lengths and breadths of Noida for some authentic South Indian goodness but no other places comes closer (including Sagar Ratna and Naivedyam). Located towards the tail-end of Ganga Market (in sec-29), Oota keeps you away from the hustle of the marketplace yet it's not secluded. Enjoy warm idlis and dosas in the open and do not forget to order their Podi Idli, you'll go back only for that!
Always a sure yes anytime for South Indian food. Open, informal sitting is a huge +. The staff is young & very enthusiastic. Level of hygiene is at par despite being open air & a small joint.
A definite for good, simple South Indian food
It's the first time I have come to this very small little cafe with outdoor seating at the back of ganga shopping complex in Sec 29 and boy o boy, what fresh breakfast!! I tried their idli and plain dosa, batter was super fresh and perfectly made. The idlis were soft and dosa, very thin and crisp.
One of the most authentic South Indian food joints around. I have gotten into the habit of having "idla" and "vada" for breakfast on Sundays.
Being a Punjabi I am very selective about south Indian food. I really enjoyed this one and recommend it too. Excellent South Indian Food.
Great food, Authentic Bangalore style dosas etc, Friendly Owners, Google gives wrong address this is not in Mayur Vihar phase 3 but it is in shop no 39, Ganga Shopping Complex, Sector 29, Noida, UP 201303.
Excellent podi idli and medu vada. Eat fresh at the outlet if you don't mind the street view. Super value for money
I really appreciate it and I will say the morning breakfast should be done der only. You will alsoo love it. Alu paratha is yum. Nd utthapam is very delicious.
The best dishes are Mixed Rava dosa, Podi dosa and Mysore dosa.
The medu wadas are also good but sometimes undercooked.
I am big south indian food fan and i really liked their food and quality. Also the price is very reasonable.
Great South Indian affordable option finally available in Noida. Sup grub at decent price. Go for it
