I haven't tried their Hyderabad biryani, so I can't speak to its taste. However, the chicken tandoori and chicken chilla were amazingly flavorful – I really enjoyed them. The service was good too. After finishing our meal, a differently-abled staff member approached us, offering a hand wash bowl, which was a nice touch. One downside is that they don't offer small portions for any dish, and the prices are a bit high.
We visited Hyderabad Biryani House after having read at Thomas Cook Travels that its number one ranked in Ooty of multi cuisine dishes. We ordered Mutton Kadahi, Chapati and chicken Biryani. All the spices are well proportionate with less chilli. Such a delicious Food is not seen in even 5 star hotels having travelled extensively in India UK and abroad. On to the top they provided is complimentary moctel and sitting at First floor which has excellent scenic view of Ooty Hill. Highly recommended this place for eating out in Ooty. Ashiq (Chef) Mohit, Suraj and Irshad deserves special appreciation with thanks.
Food is satisfactory. Quantity is good for the price of the dish. Ambience is bright and energetic. Service is extremely polite and professional. Parking is available in front of the hotel (road side). Restaurant may be full in peak hours. Finger bowls are provided for handwash.

It's situated in the centre of the city in Ooty. The food is too good. The chicken is very tender. We had ordered Chicken biryani, starters and soup.
The place is crowded but the first floor is spacious and comfortable.
Its budget friendly. And every dishes are so flavourful, if you like spicy food then its not for you but if you are a true foodie for whom awesome dish doesn't only mean spicy and masaledar food then this is one of the best restaurant for you in ooty.
Good outlet for Biryanis. Very crowded during weekends specially after 8 PM. Service is fast and hygienic. Variety of items both veg and non-veg, taste is nice too. Ample free parking available, accepts digital payments. Courteous staff.
Got this restaurant after some searching for good biryani in google maps. And I must say chicken biryani was good for the search we did. Friendly staff, plenty of seating capacity, good view when you sit on the first floor sums it up. The only problem is with the parking in that area, we had to search for roadside parking a few hundred meters away where we always had tension of fines and tow-away.
Good tandoor and biriyanis. 1st floor has a better view. Definitely recommend if in Ooty and want some good food

Tried Hyderabad chicken briyani Jumbo for 4 people.
Chicken pieces are big on briyani. So the pieces doesn't have masala taste inside and it too blunt. It will be good if the pieces are small and well marinated with masala.
Tried tandoori chicken which is juicy. The chilli tandoori sause taste can be improved and mayonnaise should be served which was missing.
Tried Mushroom Hyderabad briyani which briyani has same taste but only the Mushroom has enough masala and well marinated.
Bought curd rice for kids and they liked it.
Price is on the expensive side.
Loved their curd rice and chicken Manchurian. Their naan and mutton keema was also top notch. It was crowded around 4pm itself. So avoid going there on weekends. Their nawabi kebab which they recommended was just okay.

Great food but a huge crowd in season time. Waiting time is there sometimes but it's worth it when you have the food. For biryani lovers, here the range varies with regular and large/family biryani but the price difference is huge. Regular biryani can serve 2 people here where large biryani cost around Rs1800/-.
