One word- strong nostalgia. Three things that come to my mind when I think of Ooty -climate, elk hill temple and West coast bakery. World's best varikis to be found here; belive me when I say so. Superb friendly staffs. Also don't miss out on their lip- smacking hot jalebis. The banana, plum, fruit and other flavours of cake are also worth trying. Superb quality and reasonable price. Been buying goodies from there for almost the past 15 years, never once regretted. Do visit for sure.

One of the pioneers in the bakery industry. It has been one of the best bakerys in town. Established nearly 50 years ago, there are varieties of bakery items. The special one is ooty varkey. It comes in two sizes. Small varkey is a delucacy to eat. If you get into the bakery you don't know what to buy. You will feel for buying everything. The owners are soft people. Very good reception at their ends
