Food is awesome. Bought karimeen fry and prawns. Superb taste. We can feel that freshness of the fish. A must visit place for seafood. Service is also very good.
If you are looking for delicious seafood around palakaad, don't hesitate please walk in. Meen chatti filled our belly and heart ❤️ with their scrumptious food. The quality of the fish was outstanding.

Delicious fish varieties. You can select after seeing the fish with masala and then order. They will fry for you. Apart from that you get veg side dish as well. Enough parking space for cars. 7 to 8 cars can be parked inside. And 4 cars can be parked outside the compound. The rice is also so good does not make your stomach gas. Altogether a good tasty restaurant with fresh fish. Though Palakkad does not have sea. The fishes are fresh

This is the place you need to visit if craving for original kerala taste. When visited, came to know the food is being prepared by its owners and not chefs. Service, cleanliness, the hospitality, outstanding. You get the true feel of so called naadan oonu and crab, then came the squid, beef and prawns..... guys thank you for indelible food experience....
We ordered Koonthal, Crab, Thilopia along with fish curry meals. One of best place I’ve visited in Palakkad. Food was great and reasonable. Must visit!
Tasty food with reasonable price. On the highway with few parking space. Service is fast and quick. Recommend for quick stop to have tasty lunch or dinner. Not an option if one is looking for fine dine.
Menu doesn't have a lot of option but few items and fish.
Liked the food. Fishes are deep fried, tawa fry fans would find it little dissapointed. But the service is awesome and loved the way the staffs greeted us

Good authentic Kerala veg/ fish meals. Reducing 1 star due to slow service on 1st floor. This place serves Kerala meals & other fish fry items, nothing fancy. It's not a fine dine experience but if a simple veg/ fish meal is what you are looking for at a reasonable price, you can visit this place.
Superb choice for healthy food. As it is situated beside the NH 544, it's so accessible for everyone who travels through there. The restaurant is owned & managed by some ladies(housewifes). Though it's assured you get really a homely food. You get most of traditional kerala fish recipes here. Rates are economical too. The interios is also homely. They have a spacious parking area which is really an added benefit.

Meenchatti is budget dine centre for everyone who loves fish - fishes from sea, fishes from local ponds and fish from the farm. It is said to be best for lunch. Food is served with love and care in a home. The Hotel Meenchatti was a quite calm house converted in to dine centre. They provide spacious parking yard. We had good lunch there in air conditioned room with fried Snakehead murrel (Varaal) Red Snapper (Chempalli) Seer fish (Ayokora). Fish items were good with quality and quantity but they have give attention to the meals too.
