Pleasant experience . They do a home delivery in Chaudi right upto my villa . The attendant who took my online order was pleasant and knowledgeable. The pizza was think crust authentic wooden oven baked . The sausage oizza was inventive and tasty . Will def order again
We really liked their Ambience and service is also prompt and good. We had ordered seafood combo which had prawns, squids and salmon fish. All seafood was made in tandoori masala. It was really good in taste. Owner and staff is polite and friendly. We got dessert complimentary from owner..🙂 We would definitely recommend this place for sea food lovers and it is near beach only.

Delicious food and courteous staff. All the variety of food is available and each of their dishes is so good that it brings you back all the time. When I am in Palolem, I am not worried about the food as i have the option like The Olive Room.
Go to this place and have a Tandoori Fish. It is a definite MUST TRY. Simply loved the preparation and the taste and it was reasonable as well. We tried a Tuna Tandoori and it was so damn amazing. Tender pieces with the burnt smell of coal, it was just perfect!
It is a must visit when in South Goa near the beach. Kudos!
Sea food and Goa are so synchronous to each other that everytime you visit Goa , the sea food keep staring at you for consumption. The Olive Room at Palolem beach just takes care of this requirement.
We ordered
1. Crab Masala fry (Rs 800/-)
2. Prawns in butter garlic sauce (Rs 700/-)
3. Dal fry (Rs 130/-)
4. rice (Rs 80/-)
5. And ofcourse some beer and cocktails (Its Goa guys)
The crab was very fresh. The crab masala fry was a real delicacy . Till now I can feel the taste . The prawns did not appear very fresh. Was little disappointed there.
Overall a good experience barring the prawns. The service was nice and quick. Total bill was around 2200/- which to my opinion was a good price . A value for money for sure.
The four star rating is for the Fungii Pasta that I ordered. Their service is super slow and the decor is outdated and bad. The staff isn’t attentive either. Our drinks had to be remade as the waiters weren’t paying attention when we ordered them.
They had fresh fish displayed at the entrance and upon ordering the same they said they can’t make it for us. Just a sad experience.
Went there few days back. Owner is very friendly and helpful. We choose a lobster worth 700 rs fresh catch. They prepare it with butter garlic and white wine. Served with french fries and salads. Food was tasty.....
The olive place is just 1 min from the beach and is an excellent place to eat. Particularly for the north Indian food, the spices they use and the food they serve is unparalleled is the whole South Goa. Their manager Mr Yogesh gives special attention to the guests and serve hot and delicious food to the guests right in time. Really enjoyed the restaurant.

I went with my partner ,she told me to try once ,so said yes, when we entered the waiter welcomed us very nicely ,first I was thinking that may be this restaurant is very costly but when I saw the menu ,it was very affordable,, after looking the menu I asked the waiter what fresh fish you have ? He told me the fishes name and also what taste we want ,so I ordered red snapper masala fry and my partner order prawns peri peri ,,when I taste the fish .it was amazing ,well cooked ,spice was perfect ,and prawns peri peri was excellent,,, after finishing the starter ,we ordered pizza ,,and that was as expected as I was thinking ,,,,,food was amazing ,friendly staff even the owner was funny ,,happy to be here ,,,I will come here again ,thanks for the lovey food

Great place with a vast menu! The pizzas are perfectly done! The curries were great too! The buy one get one free on the cocktails is great with the pina colada’s being one of the best I’ve had in ages! Well worth a visit!
Food is good at reasonable price.. Menu is everything from north Indian to European dishes. Service is very fast.. I was satisfied, location is on roadside and it's clean as well. Now the good part. The waiters were polite and made an effort to communicate and ask for feedback. There home made banoffee pie was a winner.

its not a very fancy restaurant but a good place for lunch. Food was good at reasonable price. Menu has everything from north indian to European dishes. Service was fast.

Good north Indian food and friendly staff. They treat you well, the only compliant I have is to not play remixed songs rather go with originals. But I guess thats not a deal breaker for most people.

It's difficult to find a place in goa that serves non vegetarian and vegetarian food so good like this restaurant. One of the best food joints in recent memory. I have tried mutton chicken and several other veg preparation both extremely well prepared and yummy. The owner and the restaurant staff are very well behaved and punctual. One of the best places to try out Indian Punjabi food. If you happen to go there try out their special drink lemanon.

We treated ourselves to a meal of Greek salad, so fresh and flavorful; tomato salad, really nice cheese; and a perfectly cooked wood oven mushroom pizza. We also splurged on a bottle of red cabaret Sauvignon which was surprisingly delicious! The staff was all smiles, friendly and attentive by any standard.
Fantastic place, I had dinner here few days ago and the experience was mind blowing. From service to staff to ambience - everything was just perfect. Food was amazing. A must visit place in your trip to Goa.

Being a vegetarian, it has been somewhat difficult finding restaurants in Goa which serve good vegetarian food because its largely about seafood here.
I have my regular places in Palolem that I visit usually, but now and then I do visit new places with the required amount of caution, sticking to safe food options. I tried this one out the last time, and I wasn't exactly disappointed if not pleased.
The interiors are crudely done. There's no harmony in patterns or color schemes. On one hand we have cheap Chinese lights in all colors against a sickly, pale blue background and then there are hand-embroidered tapestries in earthy hues. The place is quite spacious but I wish they would keep it cleaner. There were flies hovering all around our table because it hadn't been cleaned properly. And the music was awful-- loud Punjabi music not at all in sync with the place.
Now the good part. The waiters were polite and made an effort to communicate and ask for feedback.
The food was alright. Not exceptional but not bad either. The hakka noodles had been done nicely with loads of vegetables. The spring rolls could have been less oily and more crispy. The cheesy mushroom pasta was quite good-- it had been generously smothered in cheese sauce and had a decent amount of mushrooms in it. Their home made banoffee pie was a winner.
The place has the potential of becoming a lot better if they paid attention to the areas I mentioned above.
Visited this place on my trip to Goa. The place is nice and my overall experience was good. But the ambience is just normal.
We ordered Crab Curry, Fish Curry, Chicken Tikka, Vegetable Pizza and Spring Rolls. The food was nicely cooked and the quantity was also adequate. I personally liked the Veg Pizza and Spring Rolls.

That was quite some meal ! We had three hot starters to share between 4 and there was more than enough. The sticky honey chicken was a bit too sweet and like the battered vegetables a bit Chinese like. We also had large popadoms with vegetables on. Our main was a whole chicken byriani which was delicious and ample to share between two. Others had chicken kebab and battered prawns...
They have a great service.
The food is very good and tasty. The fish vindaloo was awesome and mouth watering.
They serve you very well.

Fod was great. And if the owner is running the place, you'll love the service. But otherwise, service isn't great. Do try wood fired pizzas if you visit this place
Located right beside the palolem beach in Goa, I absolutely loved the food out here. We had a grilled pomfret, a hyderabadi chicken and roti. The food was delicious and yum. Price is very moderate and even the service and amicability of the staff was cool. The food took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait. Very much recommended if you are coming to Palolem.

Situated on the way to the beach on left...This is a pretty cozy low lit place where you can chill for hours...If you don't wanna stay right Infront of the beach(that is rarely the case though) this is a perfect place to unwind over a dinner...

The lasagne was really great...Not just overload of cheese...I ordered spaghetti lasagne...It had layers of spaghetti and tomato with basil and mild herbs...Topped with lightly burnt cheese...Light on stomach and subtle on taste..
The wood fire pizza had thin crust and a litely crispy base topped with garlic chicken and apt amount of cheese. No comparison to the overloaded and thick pizza from Dominos and Pizza huts which need tomato sauce to gulp sometimes. This pizza was divine, the base sauce had nice basil taste which gave it a different dimension.
The chicken chilly was also good, well rarely there is an instance when this dish goes wrong. The naan (soft Indian bread cooked in hot wood oven) was perfectly cooked with cheese stuffed inside, very soft and tasty.
When In Goa you must not complain about the time taken for food to get on table in shacks...So I will not comment on that...The service was warm and welcoming...Happy vibes in the place and the pricing is comparable to all other shacks in the area. Good times.
Friends & Foods are things for which any one can die for. We visited this place and ordered biggest available crab and lobster at very convincing price and way it was prepared was delicious and mouth watering... Totally recommend by friends and for friends... Hospitality was great... Food was yummy... Must visit...
We had been to olive in Nov 2016. It was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, specially the king crab & lobster - a treat for your taste buds.
The owner of the place Mr. Pawan Singh is an awesome person, prefers to call his customers "friends" instead of "customers". The staff happily serves you even after the restaurant closing hours. We sat at this place almost 2-3 hours post the closing time but we were never asked to leave. Very rarely you see such goodwill gestures in restaurants nowadays.
We are definitely going to visit this place each time we visit Goa.

Excellent food ..Extremely resourceful staff ....had a lobster there which was cooked to perfection ..exactly as per specifications given .. one of the people from the staff gave us a complimentary cheese garlic naan ...it was perhaps the best naan that i have ever had ...the staff was attentive and very generous ....will go back for sure on our next Goa visit...

Completely satisfied with the food, service, music, price & ambience of the restaurant. Spent approx three hours in the restaurant trying different items... couldnot stop myself ordering different dishes as in goa u have very limited veg food options & the food at olive room was just awesome... Me and my wife had a stay in Palolem for 3 days. On the first day, after going through reviews in trip advisor we had our meals in different hotels which had the best ratings . Both of us are foodies and wanted to taste the best in goa. On the second day while coming back from the beach we decided to taste the food from" The Olive Room" . The food is amazing and the staff is friendly to the core. The service is prompt and we were surprised how the staff checked on us 5 mins after every order was served to ensure that we liked the food.The cocktails served here were the best ones we got in either North and South Goa in our trip of 7 days. As an icing to the cake we got an offer of 1+1 on cocktails. On the very next day , again we had Breakfast AND Dinner from The Olive Room which differed from our initial plans to try new restaurants for every meal. I guess that would suffice to explain how much we loved the food and atmosphere at this place. Try it once and I am sure u will go again.

Wonderfull food delivered, unbelievable pizza with lot's of cheese and you can also add you'r one toppings. This is the only restaurant to provide any seafood and the only one to offer home delivery.
been here for the first time and yeah fully satisfied, experience was amazing over pizza, tandoori chicken and yeah music too. Must have things are customised pizza which is not mentioned in the menu but you can order and customize it according to your choice. Perfect barbeque chicken and superb cocktails which you won't find anywhere else in whole palolem.

Giving an extra 0.5 for the exquisite prawn ( read huge 5") , 5 pieces tandoor-ed, nice and spicy all at 700. I felt was economical indeed. We paid an advance of 500₹ to them to prepare the tandoori prawn as we took the leisurely stroll in the market. The joint has some over friendly waiters who would promise you nice food, disco and what not! So be bit wary judiciously. Otherwise they are nice and be wary to serve you the best dish. Another dish which was nice was Chicken Patiala. But what was interesting was how it served. It was folded in an omlette and wrapped. Once you cut the omelette the Chicken Patiala pours out of it. It was equally tasty as it looked. Roti was fresh and hot. Another prawn masala ordered of smaller prawn was fresh and spicy. One browny point, they let us drink our own drink. But they don't accept credit cards. Drinks are cheap however.

Had an amazing time here. We were here for three days. All sort of masala frys are good. We had prawns, lobster, crab. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The rates are also reasonable compared to the shacks.
I had a great time here! First time in Palolim, despite being a "half-local". Great service by Sagar, great food, great music and great ambience. Forget the North. If you want clear waters, great food and the true Goa feel, I recommend this place. Highly recommended: the wood-fired Pizza.

Been here 3 months back during the monsoon which is open all the year !! Best food in palolem during monsoons and the service is good!! Pomfret fry and crab is fresh and cooked perfectly .. Loved the prawn fried rice which is something to try for!!
