We went to this hotel after hearing that it was very popular but there was no one there then. It was 8 o'clock. However, if we have come, we decided to eat. We ordered 2 different dishes, so we could test more varieties. ('Mutton Deluxe Thali', which includes their popular dish 'Kala Mutton' and another Chicken Special Thali.)
We were lucky to get there early. Because in the next 15 minutes it was so crowded and people were waiting outside. Both dishes were excellent. The special kala mutton was very good. The food was well cooked and the quantity was sufficient for a guy like me. The place is simple and clean. When we went there, there were some honeybees flying around, which was a little disturbing.
I will recommend this hotel to everyone till this reviews date.

Gouri dining is one of my favourite places to have Kolhapuri non veg thali in phanala fort - hill station. An important thing to remember before going here is that they mostly take advance booking on priority. If you go directly here then there is no assurance of getting food. So if you are more of a number of people and visiting phanala on weekends then booking in advance is a must. It is a very simple ambience place and not visible from the road, then too you will mostly find this place close to full because they serve authenticity in category, taste, good quality food with love while serving food. The owner himself manages all the operations from taking the booking- taking orders- serving food as well. Mutton kala thali is the speciality of this restaurant. And they serve unlimited Tambada and pandhara rassa ( liquid/ rassam)with love. If you book in advance they send their parcel to Kolhapur city as well. They have take away options also with prior Booking. Total seating capacity is around 25 for dine in. This is a must visit restaurant for non-veg thali lovers. Thanks 🙏

A well known eatery amongst locals as well as frequent traveller tourists alike. Famous for non veg dishes like Kala mutton and Kala chicken, tambada pandhra rassa. One can enjoy authentic kolhapuri cuisine here. Not much else in terms of options but whatever they have is of authentic quantity and good taste. Recommended for local food enthusiasts.
Good food especially chicken and mutton thali. Very good tambada pandhara rassa. Good quality and quantity dishes. Service offered is excellent. Small space needs to be booked before going for lunch and dinner. Limited bookings. Overall excellent.
This place is a gem at Panhala Kolhapur for non veg lovers you should not miss the kala mutton thali, heavenly delicious totally recommended , I also tried their mutton fry thali which was equally good, car parking could be challenging but you can find a room for parking, It's a small place so have patience and stay calm you should be delighted with end result.

This place is famous for its Kala Mutton. And it does live up to its reputation. Great taste of the food. The mutton or chicken thali is a must try. Rs 300 for the mutton and 250 for the chicken thali. The thali includes tambda and pandhara rassa ( a Kolhapur speciality) which is good too. They take about 10-15 minutes to prepare the stuff for you so plan accordingly. Highly recommended.
The food was awesome and worth the money spent. Small dining place, nothing fancy, limited menu basically all thalis.

If you are in panhala...go for it..best food in panhala.
It looks small but quality of food they provide is awesome. In monsoon they will make you wait as they don't have large area for sitting arrangement. But it worth waiting. Try chicken/mutton kalaa dish. Bet you will like it.

Very different taste of mutton and chicken fry “Kala Mutton/ Chicken Thali”, if you have tried and liked Jagdamb (Pune) I must say mutton fry is real good here compared to anywhere else
It’s a family run business, they prepare all masalas at home
Tambda and Pandhra is good as well
Hotel ambiance is okay but doesn’t matter if you are food lover
Service is good, owner and staff is very humble and welcoming. Call them or inform before going.
Parking could be an issue for four wheeler

Awesome test , should try mutton thali once , it is reguler home mess , owner is very kind and friendly , make sure to call before go , it is just beside panhala bus stand , no parking for car and bike , u can park near by 50m area .
