WHAT THE CRAB!!!!!

*CRAB PREPARED IN BUTTER GARLIC SAUCE*

Crunchy crabs perfectly saute'd in Garlic sauce is the best combination you can ever have... This restaurant in Panjim is a place to go for seafood and nonveg lovers...Must visit when in Goa...
.
Had my first meal in Goa at Ritz Classic. The fish meal thali was heavenly. It had man Goan delicacies including mussels, king fish, chicken, crab etc.
A multi-cuisine restaurant based in Goa renowned for its seafood & Goan Thali since 1978. Experience the best of Goan, Indian & Oriental cuisine at Cafe Ritz, Ritz Classic Panjim, Ritz Classic Patto, Ritz Classic Mall de Goa, Ritz Classic Panjim Gymkhana. The sheer joy of eating fish is known only to the lovers of seafood. Those who can’t seem to go beyond the foul smell associated with it miss out on a great expanse of culinary wonders that are delectable and oh so satisfying. The silken texture of fish when coupled with indigenous spices and local cooking techniques, renders an exquisite experience to the palate.

They've fish thali with variety of fresh fish.
It wasn't very spicy. Food was tasty.
Liked the prawns gravy and fried fish.
Very nice presentation and fresh fish.
Ambience is very cool as they play soft instrumental hindi songs in background.
Loved the experience.
We ordered Fish Thali and Butter chicken
The fish Thali is their speciality and it lived upto the expectations. It consisted of many fish items. One thing one must know is that roti isn't part of the thali.
But you won't feel the need of it anyway cos there are already so many items in the thali.
What really shocked me was the butter chicken. I wasn't expecting a good butter chicken here as this specialised in fish items, but Butter Chicken actually turned out to be good. The taste, consistency and quantity were all good.
The ambience is ordinary and the service was towards slower side as we went in at peak time.

Ritz classic has always been my go to place for some yummy seafood. The fish curry and the seafood dishes having variety of fishes and flavours adds up to the tummy famished for it. Amazing place.
We reached here late during lunch time. Being ethnically Bengali, me n my friend are no novice with either fish or seafood. But even then, this fish thali took us by surprise. It was the best fish meal I have ever had, period. Price and quantity is complete value for money. It took us quite some time (and some mutual motivation :)) to finish our meal. We were the only customers left in the restaurant when we finished. Completely satisfied, and highly recommended.
If you are in Panaji and crave for Goan cuisine, I strongly recommend you visit Ritz Classic. They are very well known for their Goan fish thali which is a must try. We tried Chicken Vindaloo which was very spicy but tasted awesome! The best way to enjoy your Vindaloo is to have it with rice or pav. We chose rice and had the time of our lives. The restaurant is spacious, but due to its popularity, is always crowded. To accommodate the ever growing line of diners, they encourage people to share tables. So, there were we, seated with absolute strangers, digging into our Chicken Vindaloo and loving every bit of it, despite the awkwardness of being seated in the company of unknown people. If you are going to order Cafreal or Vindaloo, do order some beer or fresh lime soda as your throat will burn. Service is quick. You can't laze around too much as other people will be waiting to be fed!
This is one restaurant which I trust for my authentic Goan (and)seafood when I'm eating out.
Almost every dish here is perfect. The North Indian gravies are never greasy and go well with the Indian breads.
There's absolutely no qualms about their Goan food variety, be it the Goan Thali (it has regressed, yet remains an all-time favourite), or the Xacuti or Vindaloo or Cafreal.
Portion sizes are better than the average for a good restaurant within Panaji city and each dish is sufficient for a table of four.
Waiters are almost always courteous and make you feel welcome. I've never had to wait too long for water or my dishes to arrive(unless of course I'm there on a weekend).
If you have a day off and want to have a hearty lunch that's not heavy on your pocket, then this certainly is the place to go.
One of the oldest place in Panjim serving Tasty Thali At pocket friendly prices! This place is specially known for its Thali. If you wish to order Alcarte then it becomes a bit expensive. The place is crowded all the time so it's better to come a bit early. On weekends the place is so conjusted and crowded, they need to work on it! The spacing between the tables is too less which can improved. They should have a specific line system and which should be followed.
Now coming to the food
Special Seafood Thali ( Recommended )
This thali consists of Dry Shrimps, Vegetable, Sweet Dish, Solkadhi, Rice, Prawns Curry, Rice Papad and Surmai Fry! They don't serve chapati with it so you need to order is separately. All the dishes are served very fresh!
Squids Rawa Fry (Highly Recommended )
I would say it's my favourite dish with a huge quantity!
Squids Lover Do Try This One!
Great place to have lunch!
Cheers!
P.S- Don't miss their Custard
You can go out with your friends and have dinner lunch breakfast it’s quite enough for parties birthday parties wedding anniversary is much like family partyYou can enjoy a date with your girlfriend food is very cheap and best quality
The most recommended place for sea food in entire goa. The sea food thali is the most sought after item there and it comes loaded with fish, prawns in dry and gravy style. The best and most suggested item will the crabs. I had crabs butter garlic and it was the best butter garlic crab I have ever had. The servers are so polite and the ambience is super comfortable. Looking forward to visit again when I am back in goa
We went in without prior booking, had to wait for just a few minutes when a very pleasant waiter ushered us in and took our orders giving us helpful suggestions regarding my queries regarding some dishes.
We orders the Fish Thali and golden fried prawns which came in quick despite the full house. The prawns were perfectly marinated not oily at all in the cornflower batter and the sauce too was great.
The Fish Thali was huge with each dish on it better than the last one. The baby crabs were perfect in the delicate coconut gravy, the rava fry was a huge slice of King fish perfectly marinated and crisp, the prawn gravy had a delicious creamy coconut base. The kokum was one of the best I have had lately and the sweet vermicelli was creamy and perfectly sweetened.
Must visit if one is in Panjim, cheers to the staff who had a smile despite the constant flow of hungry customers who were more than happy to wait to come in and dine.
Ritz Classic- We found ourselves at this place after a memorable day of visiting various churches and monuments around panaji. We were absolutely famished and in search of a good restaurant around Panaji for dinner when a helpful local suggested us this place. He told us to forget about whatever restaurant we were searching for and go to Rutz classic. He described Ritz classic, as the best and the most renowned restaurant in Panaji. It is medium sized restaurant with indoor seating. The ambience was bright and vibrant. Ritz classic specilzes in serving lipsmacking seafood along with other vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. We ordered veg manchurian, prawns masala, surmai masala, paneer tikka along with butter roti, butter nan and jeera rice. The veg manchurian were really great. Soft and tasty. Right on the money. Next we were served the star dishes of the night, prawns masala and surmai masala. The surmai was cooked to perfection. Loved it. The gravy was thick, spicy and hit all the right notes. Prawns were great as well. Both the fish dishes had almost similar gravy which was expected. Paneer tikka was good. The butter nan, butter roti and jeera rice again upto the mark. The staff is really polite and helpful. The service is fast. Good quality and quantity. Reasonable prices. A must visit restaurant in Panaji.
5 star for their seafood, lovely food,
Restaurant is full at the lunch time still they will serve you food on time, food was fresh and too good in taste.
Love the place.
ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS SEAFOOD CHAIN IN GOA.
SPECIALIZED FOR THEIR FISH THALI.
COURTEOUS STAFF WITH GOOD SERVICE AND FOOD SEEMED TO BE FRESH ENOUGH.
PLACE IS PACKED DURING LUNCH HOURS.
MOST LOVED DISH IS RAWA FRIED KING FISH & DIFFERENT TYPE OF SQUID PREPARATIONS.
Goa is the best place to have some delicious seafood. And one of the very best place in the heart of Goa is this chain of restaurants of Ritz Classic.
A paradise for seafood lovers, the signature dish at Ritz Classic is their thali, which has four different preparations of seafood included.
Dreaming of prawns and calamari? Ritz Classic has a collection of impeccably fresh seafood that is expertly made into a host of curries and flavourful preparations. Located in the heart of Panaji, this restaurant is always packed with locals and visitors, You can try their rice and fish Curry, crab masala, fish thali, butter-garlic calamari and seer fish fry with suji.
A true tribute to Goan coastal food, top your meal up with their fresh lime soda. Reasonably priced, this doesn’t have many options for vegetarians, so make sure you’re going there with like-minded foodies.
The only thing this place is lacking is service. The behavior of staff is very unprofessional and even rude sometimes. Also there is no proper process for handling customers in queues. Which results in biased behavior towards localized people. And you may have to wait for a longer period of time.
I'll rate this place now on certain factors

PS: a must visit place in Goa for some delicious seafood.
Food - Amazing quality food, especially seafood. The Fish Thali is a must try. This place is seafood lovers' paradise. The north Indian preparations are delicious as well.
Service - Prompt service. Servers and waiters are courteous.
Ambiance - Dimly lit, cozy. Usually crowded so do not expect quiet ambiance at all times.
So me and mon went to this classic goan place.. so the things which we ordered were chicken in green sauce which was really good.
Next we ordered was chilly paneer it was also very good just i found that pieces were little less else it was good.
Then i ordered main course which my recent favourite prawn curry and rice as accepted it was very good typical goan flavours..We had amazing time
Great food and ambience both veg and non veg. Must try the cheese garlic naan.
Ask for Mr. Mohan Pendnekar to serve and help you. Have never experienced such a courteous and sweet service.
His food suggestions were on point and also worth the try.
Very polite and humble person
Overall the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side. But worth the cost.
RITZ CLASSIC PATTO , has always been top on my list when it comes to having the authentic konkani taste.
Known the most of their amazing Fish Thaaali. At our last visit we tried on some other items.
1. Chonak Cafreal
☆ 4/5
The fish was fresh, and very well marinated and cooked in the Cafreal Masala.
2. Prawns Rawa Fry
☆ 5/5
Prawns always make up to a Mouth - watering dish. Here @ritz, the dish was perfectly crispy, juicy and spicy.
3.Chicken Lajwab

Though Ritz is known for serving the best Goan Food Dish, do make sure sometimes you try out their other Cuisines as well . Totally worth it.

This is totally a must Try. The pudding is so flavorsome and soft, it just melts in your mouth, making you want for more and more.

The Rambling Fork
I and my friends tried the Ritz for the first time on 30th Sep and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and the service overall was good. The restaurant looks always crowded. Overall a good meal (especially fish thali) and great value we will certainly be going back on the next Goa trip.
A decent fish thali for 250 something rupees. A lot of different options in the thali, all of which were pretty unique. Service was quick and the food seemed fresh.
Great place to experience Goan seafood in a thali. The place provides you a glimpse of some of the best Goan dishes and seafood in a single thali. You can also order a la carte items.
On the first day of my arrival in Panaji, I was scouting for a restaurant to enjoy the local cuisines. Then I had remembered Ritz, an old restaurant located on the first floor of a building on 18th. June Road and this used to be my favourite haunt during my numerous trips made to the city many years ago all on business.
I along with two other participants for the conference, which would commence the next day, had reached Ritz at about 7.30 PM on a Thursday and were immediately accommodated on a table. The restaurant, famous for its fish thalis during the lunch time, was a little oblivious of its décor and interiors. We had asked for a portion each of ‘masala papad’, ‘squids masala’ and ‘mackerel tandoor’ as the starters to go with a couple of drinks. The squid rings prepared in a tangy sauce came with a humongous quantity and three of us had struggled to polish it off. Mackerel was quite well prepared too. For the mains, we went for ‘Fish Ambotik’, a signature Goan dish (chunks of Kingfish in a mildly sour gravy with pieces of Kokum) and plain steamed rice.
Ritz has always been classic with its authentic Goan flavours and quite affordable pricing of food.
I like the menu. We were first customers when it got opened in the morning. Egg fried rice and mutton vindaloo we're good except that there were many boones in the vindaloo.
Curteous staff. Nice location.
I came here since I was suggested this place for fish thali. The service was quick and the thali was delicious. Though I have tried thalis from many other places and I didn't find the taste exceptional but it was upto standard and pretty delectable. The staff was also very courteous. The place is packed during lunch hours.
Nice Ambience, Good food. At the Center of Panjim. Staff was polite and helpful.. Good North Indian and Goan food spread and equally good...
Good food, fast service and polite staff is the hallmark of this eatery!
Though they don’t serve Sorpotel, Pork Vindaloo or Potato Chops, the Mutton was quite tasty and so were the pair of Mackeral (Bangda) Rechado.
Overall for safe food goers, I recommend this place!
Definitely one of the best Fish Thali I've ever had and certainly lived upto the ratings and reviews unlike many new places these days. Really filling, mouth watering presentation, tasty options and good pricing for the thali. Got 3 curries one fish rachedo and one bhendi vindaloo I guess and one fish curry with coconut flavor along with a crispy fish fry, shells sabji and vegetables sabji, papad, rasam, sweet and basic thali items along. 1 thing I always miss in fish/seafood thali everywhere in bangalore and other places is the variety of seafood in it and this place definitely loved upto mine, my friends and our tummies expectations 😁
This is the most famous seafood chain in Goa. They have a good variety of option to select from. The Fish Thali is something which I heard was a must try before coming here. And yes it was delicious.
We tried The fish Thali, Chonak Rawa Fry, King Fish Masala fry, Prawns Cafreal, Egg Masala and summed it up with Gulab Jamun with Icecream. Special mention to the Chonak Rawa Fry and the Prawns, both were made well.
This place gets very crowded and becomes difficult to get a place so make sure to come here as early as possible.
Ritz Classic is located near immaculate conception church. This place is legendary and always busy if you visit during peak hours. So it's better to visit before peak hours. We ordered fish thali and rawa fry oyster. Fish thali was definitely their unique signature dish, you can see thali almost on every table. We should have ordered chilly oyster because rawa oyster was bland to my pallet. Overall that's a wonderful experience.
If you are very hungry and want to have heavy lunch , have their thali. The place is best known for sea food. The ambience is pretty good too, makes you comfortable to enjoy your food, the waiters are polite but want to be tipped.
Food - 5/5
Ambience - 3.5/5

This place is a "Must visit" for Sea food lovers.
The staff is very polite and friendly. Just don't expect a quiet ambience. But trust me, the food stands out from the rest so overall it's very good.
Must try -
Goan Thali. Red snapper fish Masala fry. Solkadhi.
Ritz classic is one of the best eateries especially for the sea food I've ever come across in Goa. It's very close to panjim bus stop/depot and it full of life. We ordered Squid batter fry with amazing dips(Highly recommended), Squid butter garlic(Highly recommended), Prawns batter fry, Crab chilly fry, Green salad, Surmai thaali(*High high highly recommended* You step in Ritz and not have this thali? Ghor paap I'll tell you!), Chicken Hakka noodles. All accompanied by Red wine😋 The ambience is family friendly and too good with the courteous staff around. Prices are minimal(cost friendly) and I say too low as compare to the quality and the quantity.
P. S: Couldn't capture and upload the pictures of the main course(Trust me the food here will make you forget everything)
- Please do visit this place and let me know your experience!

If you've not tried the Thali's at Ritz, you're really missing out on some awesome Goan fare! Try the Fish Thali's and the day's special, they're sure to bring a smile on your face :) In pictures, Fish Thali, Crispy Rawa Fried Calamari and Serradura.
Here is one of the best ever Goan Fish Thali we have tasted.. A 3 day tiring trip just got us relaxed by this! A must visit restaurant right beside Panaji Bus Stand..
This is a small but popular restaurant located in panji, goa.
And I'm truly in love with this place As they serve most fresh, yummy, tasty, delicious, spicy, tempting fish thali and even chicken thali too. Their Solkadhi was just too awesome. So basically overall food quality and food taste was fabulous (worth waiting)

This place literally saved us, after two days of bad food we landed up at the place that served amazing food for a cheap price rate. We were suggested this place by a local and we were a little doubtful if we'd end up at another bad place but this place was just a blessing!
The staff was professional, the place looked decent and well kept, the food was really good and service was quick! It has become a saved option for me and I'll suggest Ritz to all the people visiting Goa!!
One of the most popular restaurant in Goa for Sea food lovers; they do have 3 outlets .. decent decore and ample of seating.. them too you might need to wait for seat.. fish and crabs were great... and thali was awesome.. must visit for sea food lovers
The 5 star Goan sea food thali. Really a must try in Goa. Just can't forget the taste of Rawa fish fry.
Try to visit as early as possible to avoid queues.
Great ambiance.. best for family dinner. Authentic Goan thali. Fresh fish. And best hospitality.. Must try calamari rawa fry. And squids golden fry..
The most reputed goan food cuisine in Goa, whenever you go to Goa must try special fish thali here.
It's amazingly delicious and mouthwatering.
One of the best restaurant in Panaji Goa...serves authentic Goan food... It very well known for the seafood dishes...the fish thali served over here is yummy and delicious ..even the crab masala Is a good dish to try
Visited the place with recommendations and to say the truth was not dissappointed with the taste of food and ambeince..We went for dinner hence was not able to try the fish thali as it's srved only in the afternoon...we tried Chicken Vindaloo and Clamps, both the dishes was very neatly done and chicken was fresh andcooked very well. I will definitely recommend this place
Truly amazing food ...and service. just this place is so popular u have to wait untill space is available for you... Some corners in this restaurant is not ventilated rather you feel suffocated.. that is only flaw overall place is amazing
Though there is waiting the waiting is worth it as the food is yummilicious. The food would make up for the time you waited. It is a recommended place
Simply fantastic and delicious. The only downside was the huge waiting queue, but that probably because of the great seafood this place offers. We kept it simple and ordered our standard goan king fish curry and surmai tava fry but it was evident all around us, how delicious the food is here. Must try
If you're visiting Goa you must stop by and eat in this restaurant its worth your time and money. The place is very nice and usually packed till the closing hours, I ordered the fish thali and it was amazing, variety of fish dishes and the taste was too good also ordered king fish bcoz the fish in thali was some local fish but it tastes good. Overall the thali is best and speciality of the restaurant and the king fish fry was really tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to you guys and if i am in goa i would definitely visit here again.
Ambience 4/5

I had lunch at Ritz Classic which is very close to Panjim bus station. It is one of the most popular restaurants for Goan food in Panjim. So, mostly crowded.
I ordered a very famous Fish Thali. There were so many things into the Thali.
Rawa fried Chonak fish, prawn curry, rice, dry prawns, some local fish (I don't remember the name), crabs, sol kadhi, sevaiya, and much more.
I really loved it. I mean each and every food item. I couldn't even finish the thali! I think 2 people can easily eat from a single Thali. This is the best place to eat Goan food near Panjim bus station. If you are in Panjim then you should definitely visit this place. I recommend lunch here. Can’t wait to visit again!
A must visit place for all fish lovers.
This thali is amazing and will summarize your Goa visit.
Please do not order any starter with this thali
I had ordered and regretted , as I couldn't finish it.
Another lunch outing at Ritz. Throughly satisfied as usual. Had Rawa fried oysters and mussels, king fish cafreal, stuffed crab and the fish thali. The oysters and mussels were large in size. Fish was fresh and tasty as usually.
I think this place is like a mandatory ritual for all Goa travellers.
It is popular among locals and travellers alike.
Even though we were staying quite far from this place we took the effort to travel the distance to relish their food.
The thali is served only during lunch time which consists of crab and clams as well. Goan fish curry and prawns curry served with rice.
Their fish fry is delicious. Must must visit.
Best way to start goa vacation. Treat for all fish lovers.
Heard many reviews from friends before visiting and found every word is true.
They have perfect Fish thalli with reasonable rate . Also due to high suggestions tried Squid tawa fry but trust me if you just 2 person visiting don't order thalli and squid fry it will be huge in quantity. Now this is going to be our permanent destination in Goa. Must visit..
Thanks,
AJ
This restaurant had been on my "must visit" list for quite a while and it definitely lived up to the hype. I finally planned a visit to Ritz Classic when my parents and sister visited Goa. They were absolutely blown away by the food, ambience and service. They were surprised that there was such a long queue of people waiting here on a weekday and after we finished our meal we understood why that was the case. This restaurant is legendary and I hope they continue to serve great food! The Fish Thali was fantastic. Every bite was impregnated with deliciousness. The squid batter fry literally melts in your mouth. The Chonok masala fry was spicy and yet delicately prepared. The butter garlic pomfret was cooked to perfection. My only criticism would be that I felt the butter garlic sauce could have been more balanced and we'll nuanced. The service is great and the waiters are very polite and attentive. They take their job seriously and treat their customers very well unlike the staff of most restaurants in Goa. I highly recommend Ritz Classic to anybody who visits Goa or lives in Goa.
A must visit restaurant for seafood in Panji, waiting time is cons here but worth waiting. We ordered goan thali which is for this restaurant is famous and it did not dispointed me.
I went there for an evening meal with my friend .at the end of our trip to Panjim .we were recommended by one of my friend to eat Goan food .the food was delicious .prawns masala rawa fry. Prawns richado. Very good .had a great time with friends .
A must try place for all the seafood lovers in panji. Ordered crab masala for starters and fish thali for main course in non veg and paneer Tikka masala in veg. The veg food was pretty good compared to other restaurants in Goa. The staff is very well mannered and friendly!
Hands down, one of the best seafood thali I’ve ever had. This place is never empty. You’ll see almost every other person having this thali. It has all kinds of seafood, you name it and it’s there. Highly recommended for all the seafood lovers.
With This Beauty ♥️

The best thing about Goan Fishes is the way the way they cut their fishes into thin slices! The add on is also their authentic spices which makes their fishes more flavorful ✨

Fish thali is great but it's available for lunch only.
We ordered Crab masala, Squids and Veg manchurian. All yummy and were finished in no time. We have 4 small kids below 5 yrs who equally enjoyed food with us.

Great place to have local goan food in Panaji. Must try their Mankyo (squids) butter fry & King fish masala fry & fish thali. Very popular place for seafood which is affordable and fresh.
Best place to have Goan thali...crab xec xec was good too.staff was polite, attentive and accommodating.we went there on recommendation from locals.
To the best fish thali ever during our vacation in Goa😍 every item in thali was so delicious and lipsmacking. Worth the price. Also it has got good ambience.
Definitely do visit this restaurant and try their fish thali, which is very popular. The place is mostly found busy, but yet staff are friendly and manage it well.
They have various branches in Goa in different areas.
So what's in the thali ? 🤤
It comes with crab Curry, clams sukka, 2 fish curries, a slice of fried kingfish, egg burji (scrambled eggs), Prawns Curry, a bowl full of rice, kokum kadi and kheer.
The flavors of each dish was so satisfying.
And also we were extremely hungry, so we finished this thali in no time.
If planning for a vacation to Goa, do try this thali.
Amazing food. Amzing place. Fresh fish and best place for goan food ..
Highly recomended.. 🔥
Also a good famoly sit downer. Decent and clean.
Must visit place in Goa in Panaji
The thali consist of great variety of food and basically fish food and chicken
The pomfret and prawns were to good
Great taste .. visited the restaurant on 21st feb during my stay in Goa along with my colleagues.
We order for Carb Masala, Trisya gravy, chicken vindaloo and chonok Masala fry.
As usual the food tasted awesome and had a good time.
This is a legendary place to eat in Panjim. When I was researching where to eat authentic Goan Thali in Panjim this place was mentioned again and again. It's location also happens to be walking distance from the must-see parts of the city the Fontainhas and our lady of the immaculate conception church.
Coming to the restaurant it's a no fancy place and was quite crowded during lunch hours, we had to wait 20 minutes just to get a table which also tells about the quality of food they serve. Their specialty is the Goan Fish Thali which comes with Fried Rava King Fish, fish curry (sardine/local fish), crab curry, Goan Prawn curry, Xacuti, shells and some other local vegetables. Each dish served had its own distinctive flavors, prawn curry was more coconut based whereas fish curry had kokum and other spices and both curries were a world apart in flavor. The seafood and the fish were extremely fresh and well cooked. The food was so good that we literally ate our hearts out. Apart from this, we ordered Tawa Fried Prawns which again were fresh and well prepared crunchy from outside and succulent inside. The place is a must visit to enjoy authentic Goan thali and is quite cheap as the Thali cost only 270 bucks.

Great place in the proximity.
Tucked in the second floor of a building on the main lane.
Fully packed seating during peak hours , you would have be a bit early to grab a place without waiting.
Serves scrumptious food especially sea foods.
Go to order here is the fish thali.
Non vegetarians can definitely give it a shot.
Must also appreciate the service offered in a fully packed ambiance.
Overall a great experience.
They have very good chain of restaurants in Goa, while on our visit we had both dinner and lunch from them at different locations, everyone should definitely try their Goan or international dishes during their trip in Goa.
Went to Ritz Classic for lunch on a weekday. Found a table quickly, nice atmosphere, comfy seats, and friendly staff. Tried their recommended fish thali and crab in Goan Masala. The crab was well-cooked, and the masala was fantastic – a must-try with perfect spice and flavor balance.
The thali included two fish curries, coconut-based clams stir fry, rava fish fry, prawn sambar, dry prawn stir fry, white peas curry, sabudana kheer, steamed rice, papad, and tasty solkadi. Fish curries were delicious, rava fish fry and white peas curry were good, prawn sambar and dry prawn curry were outstanding. Sabudana kheer wasn't impressive, but solkadi was delightful.
Ritz Classic is a must-visit in Panjim for its delicious food, despite a slight deduction in my rating due to poorly maintained washrooms - handwash feels like water, and the restroom is cramped. This restaurant is definitely worth a try when in Panjim, and surely worth the hype.
Overall, worth trying for the food!
#KingFish #Rawa #Fry ⭐️ Chanak Fish Tawa fry, Serradura, also known as sawdust pudding or Macau pudding, is a well-known Portuguese dessert, popular in both Portugal and Macau (a former Portuguese colony in China), as well as Goa & lot more! thanks 🙏 @ritzclassic - iconic place to have #fishthali or other Goan food!

I visited Ritz Classic Based on YouTube/Instagram Video's, Restaurant is impressive As per our expectations,Food Quality,Test, Ambience,Service Staff Everything is Just Perfect.I enjoyed food along with Family.Location is Also Good Near To Tourist Destination.
This is a must visit place for a seafood lover , amazing fish thali . This is the 6th time I am visiting and come here every time I visit Goa . Located in Panjim makes it even better. The place is crowded at lunch time . I entered the place around 12PM and was not crowded , but post 1PM there was a waiting que to get inside . But it’s worth the wait . Value for money and time I would say. There is no Soft music , which will surely make it a better experience. They should work on it .
Excellent place, excellent food and great ambience. The one place for fish thali or anything of fish. Always try it when you are in goa
Very delicious food, thali was enough for two people that’s so big. Thank you and must visit who ever want a to eat sea food.
This is one of the best authentic Goan cuisine restaurants we have visited in Panjim. Absolutely love their lunch fish thali. Always make it a point to visit here whenever we're in Goa. The chicken vindaloo was disappointing this time. Also they can improve on the calamari masala fry which felt saucy, should have stuck to their fabulous rawa fry calamari instead. Quite busy place and you need to wait your turn to get a table.
One of the Old timers of Panji, Ritz Classic. My dad introduced me to this, he used to come here.
The taste will not disappoint you. Please go and try their Sea food. I loved their deep fried Rawa versions of King Fish & Squid. Also, the curries are so fresh and so Goan. Please try Prawn curry with some Steamed Rice and ask for a bed after that😂
My wife loved the classic Goan Fish thali
She was impressed with the variety, as well as the taste n quantity
The vegetation me, had noodles this turned out to be one of the good veggie noodles i have ever had
Very nice solkadi too (it's like our south Indian rasam variant).. Loved it..had a glass full of cold solkadi
The service is prompt. We called them to confirm timings. Plz do that if ur late.
Like most Goan hotels, they stop serving lunch thali at 4pm, with last order at 3.45pm until they open again for dinner.
One of the top sea food restaurants in Panjim. They have many branches across Goa. I never miss an opportunity to visit Ritz Classic when I'm in Goa.
The Fish Thali is amazing. The thali contains rawa fry of fish of the day (King Fish / Sea Bass), Prawns curry, Crab dish, Mackarel Dish, Dry Fish, Sol Kadi and some vegetables. It's highly filling and if you are a picky eater you may share a thali with your friend. We also ordered extra King Fish Rawa Fry and Bombil Fry. Prawns butter garlic is lip smacking.
I highly recommend this place 👌
Chicken Xacuti was disappointing because the separately boiled chicken was added to the Xacuti gravy and served. They had no flavour at all 🤮 If you visit this restaurant for dinner, can expect few food items missing from the menu as they say the afternoon busy crowd empties them up. What a lame reason 😑😅🤣
Coriander Sauce Prawns and Honey Chilli Chicken was good. Good space, moderate ambience, good service and hospitality. Good space and neat set up.
Coming here since i was a kid.
Never disappointed.
There's always a huge waiting time but always worth the wait.
Good crowd, Great Food, Great ambience, Excellent service.
They dont take names when queue is formed. They should always note down the names and no, of persons for the table. This would bring a smile on the crowd who is waiting for a table.
Here the food is yummy 😋 most famous for their mouthwatering tali , one drawback is it's too crowded n noisy.. do visit this place for tasty food.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ritz, and I must say it lived up to the buzz it had generated. Located in Goa, this place is known for its reputation and the delightful dishes it offers. While some items may be on the pricier side compared to other local options, the flavors and quality make it a worthwhile experience.
One standout dish that I highly recommend is the Squid Batter Fry. It was simply exceptional and a must-have for seafood lovers. The squid was cooked to perfection, with a crispy batter that added an enticing texture to every bite. This dish alone made the visit to Ritz worthwhile.
Aside from the Squid Batter Fry, the Prawns Thali was another enjoyable choice. The prawns were flavorful and well-prepared, accompanied by a variety of sides that complemented the main dish nicely. For vegetarians, the option of Roti and Paneer Makani was satisfactory, although not as remarkable as some of the other offerings.
The ambience at Ritz is cozy and homely, creating a welcoming atmosphere for a quiet dinner with friends and family. It's a perfect setting for those seeking an authentic dining experience in Goa. Additionally, considering the quality of food and the overall experience, the prices are reasonable and not overly expensive.
In conclusion, Ritz is definitely a must-visit if you're looking for an authentic and enjoyable dining experience in Goa. While it may be slightly pricier compared to other local options, the delectable Squid Batter Fry alone justifies a visit. The Prawns Thali is also worth trying, and the homely ambience adds to the overall charm of the place.
