We chose to in in the opted AC section thanks to the heat in Goa. Loved the outdoor seating thought.. the ambience is so much better than the rest of the restaurant with the blue walls and greenery..

Came out searching for a normal dinner. Ended up eating desserts like I've never had anywhere before. That Caramel Custard can make someone in a bad place flip! The restaurant is divided into multiple sessions : AC , Non-AC, a Private Dining Room with an Amplifier and a Television Set and an Outdoor Sitting Area, which is beautifully designed with creeping plants and flowers pots and lovely lanterns hanging over the top. The Restaurant also has a Bar lounge, serving the best on your demand.
Also a special dish of the day is mentioned everyday in Veg as well as in Non-veg. So you can either go with that option or order your own choice.
Also the staff here is very courteous and you can surely ask them for recommendations.

Shere punjab has completed their golden jubilee this year. Situated right opposite to Bombay Bazar in 18 June Road, Panaji , Goa which has lots of tourist attractions near by.
In this journey of 50 years their ambiance has improved , the staff has strengthened and the most important is the food which remains consistent till date.The place offers both an outdoor as well as an indoor seating.
Their Tandoori which was a hit dish in the beginning is still a must try dish here.
I also tried their boti kabab which was good not great. I am sure their other mutton dishes are delicious.
Chicken mussalam is a dish which contains chicken kheema with boneless chicken pieces topped with one boiled egg...mmmmm...mmmm.This with onion kulcha is to die for.
The rabdi and the caramel pudding here is amazing. I wouldn't talk much about it here as I would like you to tell me in the comments section below how delicious was this when y'all taste it.

The restaurant opens at 11:00 am and closes at 11:45 pm . In the afternoon the crowed comes in post 2:00pm. So I would recommend you to call the place to make a reservation if you are going for lunch post 2:00 pm.
Their waiters also do recommend some good dishes to eat. So if you are confused on what to order then please ask the waiters.The service is pretty fast.
(Note: If you have ordered two starters then ask the waiter to get whichever one is ready first. Otherwise they will get both tgether and that will take a while.)
They serve good food at reasonable prices, it is one of the best restaurants in goa do try this restaurant if you visit goa you will love it.

I wanted to try the veg as well as non veg starters so for veg I ordered paneer tikka, the paneer was so soft that when you have the bite it just melts on your mouth, if you are a vegetarian you know what you need to order first. Just loved the creamy and rich taste of the tikka
Then for the non veg starter i tried their Angara kebab, the smokey flavour and the spices in the kebab was on point but a little disclaimer if you love spicy dishes then this is the perfect choice but if you are not a fan of spicy dishes then you should opt for another kebab.

I love mocktails and so I tried their fruit punch mocktail, loved the presentation but it was average since I have tasted better fruit punch mocktails at other places , it's not bad but could be better.

Well where do I start about the butter chicken , I had heard a lot about their butter chicken and when I had the butter chicken it was just the bestest butter chicken I had tasted in a very long time, it was perfect, the taste, the consistency, the flavours just everything was on point. This was the star dish for me and to compliment it we tried the cheese garlic naan with it trust me it's the best combo to go for. Highly recommended.

And finally to add that final touch to my amazing meal at Shere punjab I tried their dessert which was Rabdi with gulab jamun.
This dessert was heavenly, those hot gulab jamuns along with that amazing Rabdi was lit.

A good place for north Indian Cuisine. But the goan squid butter fry was crisy and delicious served with mayo and a schewan sauces was a good dish. The servings were good too. Though the pricing was a bit high. A nice place for the family.
Had been here for a lunch on Sunday afternoon. It's right in the middle of Panjim Market.
Sher-E-Punjab is widely regarded as one of the best North Indian places in Panaji, catering to well-dressed locals and business visitors with its generous, carefully spiced Punjabi dishes, including tandoori classics and rich butter chicken. Also does a few Goan dishes.
The restaurant is quite lavishly decorated and has a/c and non a/c sections. The pleasant garden terrace out back is refreshing.
The staff were friendly and courteous. Must say they have a huge place and it is very hygienic.
Overall, it was a good experience, food was good, ambience was good, service is little poor because of the waiter serving us was very rude, also could be improved a lot when it comes to the serving time.
Sher-e-Punjab amazing place located in Panjim right along the main market place and accessible through all modes. Wonderful restaurant and serves an authentic chicken in town. Northern dishes very well served typically cooked in punjabi style and indeed mouth watering delicacies. I felt waiting time was too much, but then had a thought it was worth the wait. Butter chicken, butter roti, any chicken starters, biryani and their sweet lassi one cannot miss. In Goa where people prefer fish more often but are looking for a change to satisfy their taste buds must visit this place.

This restaurant offers good food and great Ambience. Starting with their starters. We tried chicken starters like chicken lollipop, chicken Tikka and more. All were good. Main course we went for chicken Tikka biryani which was also good. For dessert I went for their chocolate brownie which was amazing tho a little too sweet but was really tasty and it's was in good quantity. Overall a good restaurant.
This is a great place for having family lunch and dinner ... You can try the tandoori and butter chicken here, it is really delicious and also the KULFI.

The staff wouldn’t fail to recognise me out here because every time I visit the place the only thing I order here is the butter chicken accompanied with 2 chilli cheese naans.
After being content with this, I end it with the most scrumptious Rabdi.
Another quintessential must stop for all things North Indian. From succulent kebabs to drool worthy daal and an Indian bread selection to go crazy over this family restaurant has stood the test of time over and again to keep producing lip smacking cuisine time for all to savor. A must visit

Being a resident of Goa, it would be a surprise to most that I skipped this iconic restaurant placed in the heart of the city of Panjim. Maybe because it was is in such close proximity or maybe because the thought of shopping on the 18th June Road doesn't hold Many a happy memories for me. But alas, on a late Monday Night starving and cranky as ever, and with a mother craving for Biryani, the zomato app served me and my family Alike a kind reminder of this mythical place.
On reaching the restaurant, we were met by kind staff. The seating area was divided into three sections; the Non AC, The AC and the Courtyard. The Non AC, as I was told was "Cheaper" as compared to the AC and Courtyard seating. While the Latter two areas were bland, covered with shades of beige and browns the Courtyard seemed to be the exact contrast of that, the lighting, the garden wall, the lampshades were possibly the most appealing part of the place besides the 'Cycle rickshaw' decor and with the contemporary music that was playing there.
We dove straight to the the main course, Biryani! (Of course) and went for the mutton Biryani- Boneless (Rs. 400). I believe it is safe to say that I've had the best Mutton biryani in Goa that day, comparable to the ones I've had in Bombay. This was also served on the side with some yummy Raita!. Besides this we also ordered a portion of Do Pyaza or Chicken Musallam(Rs. 350) with a couple of Rotis which was good as well, however the boryani topped it all for me that night !
Overall, I'd say that the late night dinner turned out to be a success. I would have given the restaurant a 5 however, due to our limited order, we couldn't sample a larger portion of the menu. The pricing I believe was a little higher if you're a habitual "Gaddo" visitor as myself. However, it was definitely worth the food which followed.
The biryani here though I would definitely recommend. Hope this is helpful.

Polite staff. Great ambience. Fish Goan curry was delicious and must try. Masala Chaas was mind refreshing! Vegetable Reshado was tasty but a little spicy.
First thing first, taste of the food served was amazing. I found rotis, lil hard still all the gravies served were quite nice. Had paneer Peshawari, kaju kari, masala papad, few non veg gravies and tea. Even tea was really good.
Restaurant however I feel was bit pricy still taste wise, I really enjoyed the food and it's location too, right on the main road.
Staff was friendly and service was fast too.

How do I rate a restuarant 5 / 5. Start by checking their kitchen , dining area, waiters, crockery, cutlery, linen and yes, the toilet. Speak to the staff about the quality of the ingredients. Check on the presentation, and the service. And finally the taste.
Makkai ki roti , sarson da saag, stuffed paranthas with dahi, tandoori chicken and chole masala were done just right. The desserts can restore peace in a disturbed mind - start with the rabbadi, gulab jamum and on to the kulfi and finally the caramel custard. Sigh.
Best punjabi food in Goa! The stuffed parathas are a must try! Totally yummy. The chicken pakoras were divine,so were the tandoori chicken and caramel custard. I don’t think this place can go wrong.❤️ go for it!
We were unsure of ordering Chinese or Goan food from a restaurant named sher e Punjab in Goa. But this was the menu we found in our resort room when we reached. Since we all were very hungry we decided to order some safe options . And to our surprise the food was really good. We ordered a couple of times during a stay and were not disappointed!

Few years back this was my go to place whenever I wanted to have lunch or dinner in Panaji. It's nice place with decent ambience. My favourite from here is butter chicken. It's yummy. I still visit this place but not so regularly. Will try to taste new dishes from here soon.

Food and services both were good. The perfect blend of spices and properly cooked food is all you need for a good dining. When you are in Panji, this is one of the few places you can go to, to have your meal.

After having loads of fish at different places in Goa and being disappointed with the veg food, hit this place for a light dinner. Guess the punjabi genes couldn't leave Goa without tasting the food offered by this plaace ;-)
Ordered a Dal khichdi (surprisingly they serve masoor dal which really went in our favour as one of us is allergic to tur dal). Super hot and tasty khichdi was served, just like home made. Loved it! Had ordered a boondi raita with it. Though the curd was slightly sour, the boondi was crisp (it was put in the curd without being soaked in water) which was also a plus from us.
For desserts did Caramel custard and Gulab Jamun rabadi. Dint expect the Caramel Custard to be so good at a place like this. Hadn't had a chance to have caramel custard at any of the places in Goa as some did not have it on their menu while for some even if it was their menu, they were not serving it. Awesome caramel custard...one of the best I have had till date!
Gulab jamun rabadi was also amazingly good. The gulab jamuns were soft and the chasni had saoked through the center. The rabadi was also delicious.
Would recommend having sweets at this place even if one does not want to have regular punjabi cuisine.

I visited this place recently when my relatives had come to Goa from Delhi. They were tired of eating seafood because of their North Indian palate so I decided to take them to Sher-E-Punjab (not a bad decision at all!). Good food at reasonable price with good staff & service. We had ordered Kalmi Kabab, Chicken Lollypop, Chicken 65, Aloo Khattey, Murgh Mussalam, Murgh Peshawari, Kadhai Paneer, Paneer tikka masala, Butter Naan and Biryani. Everything except Aloo khattey tasted amazing. Must visit this place if you are craving some delicious North Indian food in Goa.

Sher E Punjab, this is a bliss for vegetarians and also non-vegetarians who don't like fish, authentic Punjabi restaurant in Punjim which serves descent food and has a good ambiance too.
Ambiance: Good place to go with your family, cool ambiance, some classy touch with the interiors, plenty of small bamboo trees makes this place look different from other places on the street. Tables are big and chairs are very comfortable. There is no fishy smell which you will get in most of the restaurants in Goa. Blue colored tiles with open air sitting and green plants everywhere makes this place very cozy, colorful and refreshing. Plenty of space maintained between the tables so you can also get some privacy and spend some time with your family. The indoor sitting is also cool with typical Punjabi style wooden interiors and bright lights. Overall good ambiance.
Service: Staff is very polite and descent but the serving time is really high. The order takes much more time to arrive at the table but they do serve you hot food.
Food:
Paneer Peshvari: Red gravy, thick, perfect aroma, perfect amount of spices into the gravy, texture was really smooth and buttery. Goes really well along with the butter naan. Paneer was not that soft, it could have been more softer and felt a bit under cooked to me but taste was good.
Tandoori pomfret: Fresh pomfret, cooked into tandoori. Marination was perfect and fish was cooked beautifully. But the problem here is it was missing the Wow factor. Taste was really good but the masala was lacking something and the fish was not spicy enough to kick your taste buds. I would say it was not a bad dish but strictly average. I have had better tandoori fish before this.
Gulab jamun with rabdi: This is the dish of the day without a doubt. Hot and freshly cooked gulab jaum served along with the shahi rabdi and loads of crushed dry fruits. Gulab jamun were fresh, cooked in pure desi ghee and melt in a mouth texture, rabdi was sweeten perfectly and combination was heavenly. Loved the overall presentation of the dish and the richness of dry fruits takes it to another level. Must try for a sweet tooth.

The location is nice; the restaurant is clean; the food is pretty okay except for their fried rice which tasted like plain rice with some chicken in it.
The ambiance is very fine. It looks very good. Neat and clean. The staff was good. But the service was quite slow. We ordered so many things and waited for over 30-40mins. This was really not expected. The food was delicious no doubt. Overall 3.5 out of 5

Ambience was ok.We had ordered chicken biriyani,some lahori chicken masala(day's special),butter naan,mutton biriyani,chicken butter masala,gajar ka halwa.lahori chicken masala was really spicy and great.Butter naan was really soft.I didn't like the chicken biriyani at all.Gajar ka hawla was not very sweet so in case you don't have a sweet tooth,it won't spoil your taste and yes it was served hot. All in all , a fine dining with good delicacies.
Nice experience..paneer butter masala is amazing,ambience is just okay.Though service is bit slow but good food compensates for it.You may try the place when want to have authentic punjabi food.
Sher e Punjab is a well known outlet across the country. The panaji restaurant has its own plus n minus.
Food : the food was finger licking good. We ordered for panner Peshawari which was yummy. The butter kulcha was extremely soft and tasty. First time I had a seen a green coloured Manchow soup. Which was very soso. The desserts were just perfect. We ordered for one rabdi and one custard . Both of the was just perfect.
Ambience : it was a simple but nicely spaced out place.
Service : the major issue I had was with the service. The service is extremely slow. We went at 7pm to have lunch. They said they serve roti sabzi throughout. However, it took like forever for the food to come.
We had one beer, 3 soups, 3 starters. 2 sabzi. 7-8 roti. 2 dessert. All of this was billed only for RS. 2000/-. So it was totally worth it.
Good food and fast service. The ambience is very luxurious. There is ac room also and every corner has a television. And I am tired while typing this review of 140 characters.
A place where one could go to after catching a late-evening show in Inox-Panjim (most of the eateries are closed). As the name suggests, one could sample fine Punjabi cuisine complete with tandoori items, paranthas and Mughlai kebabs, biriyani and so on. Delicious food with large portions and cordial servers. We like their kebabs and biriyani and often stop by for a late dinner as they are open till 12. 00 am. They have an array of Indian desserts which tingle your sweet-tooth.
The place is clean, and the seating comfortable. My only grouse is that their washroom is not as spacious and clean.
At first you might think its pricey, but food quality justify the price.
Chicken 🍗 biryani was too good.
Chicken Szechuan fried rice 🍚 was good as well.
You'll like the magic they do with onions 😋

Food is excellent here. All varieties of food can be found here. Alcohol is also available in multiple brands. Ambience is very good even though the hotel stays busy the entire time. Ample parking provided by the watchman outside again its paid in the morning hours. Service in the hotel is also very good. I have visited here for lunch and dinner as I don’t want to have bad experience while on stay in process of exploring any other hotel.
We had ordered chole Bhatura, Kulcha chole, Rabri falooda kulfi. The food was delicious & service was excellent. A must visit for North Indian delicacies while in Goa. Good hospitality & courteous.
I would recommend you to reserve the table in advance since most of the tables are reserved in advance .. the food was good
I liked the butter naan it was too soft and perfectly cooked.
In December of 23, we went to @Sher-e-anjab. This is where we had dinner. Our preference is vegetarian cuisine. We placed an order for butter naan, parthas, daal khichdi, and one type of paneer meal. Everything delicious is really nice. We consumed every dish, nothing was compromised, and the test was excellent. The ambiance was great, the staff was really helpful, and we enjoyed supper in a semi-open space with lots of indoor plants. Overall, the vegetarian menu is advised; however, I am unsure about the non-vegetarian options and am not yet aware with the halal options.

Amazing food and service. The courtyard seating is so pretty. Been here now several times and it’s been great every time.
I am writing this review not in particular about the Food or Ambience. There is much written about it already. I would like to share my experience with the customer care. I was erroneously overcharged for 2 items. I sent a mail the next day & the hotel promptly acknowledged the error. Despite delay on my part in giving the account details, within 3 minutes of me providing the account details the money was transferred. This is indicative of the value the hotel associates towards customer relationship & this would definitely translate into Gastronomy! Surely worth a visit!!!
