We came in Goa for vacation in Panaji walked along the streets in the morning for a fine breakfast we found this lovely place with soothing goan experience it's fully air conditioned and beautiful place hygiene is being properly taken cared of .
When in Goa, it is a must to try Goan cuisine. Cafe real is the best place to have vegetarian specialties of Goan cuisine. I would recommend a visit during breakfast at this place.

The bhajis of Goa are very different from the normal Puri Bhaji that you try in other places. So do try them once.
It's a small cafe + veg restaurant.
Food is really good. I really liked Spl mushroom curry. One suggestion:- sambhar could be improved. It tasted like fried daal than sambhar.
I am a chai lover and their spl chai was really good.
Quality, price and the quantity, all are justified.
Perfect place for Goan snacks. It's slightly more priced then it's competitors but the quality is better. Must try their Goan samosa and salad Bhaji.
One of the best goan cafes in panjim
Loved mushroom bhaji with pao and buns over here..
And even the samosa's were tasty..
It's a great place to have goan bhaji pao and snacks..
Always crowded and very popular.
This place is my favorite.
I love the paatal (channa) bhaaji with pao here.
The Mirchi bhaji and bun is also good. Only parking is an issue.
But food and service is really good. Keep it up

Cafe real is located in the central of panaji. the staff is also very polite in serving ur food.
if ur planning to visit this place u must try hot cup of chai and pav bhajji.
its a great place to start ur day or to end ur day with a cup of chai and snacks.
One line, order any thing, its going to be amazing! A very old legend in the city! Had very less expectations but it just crossed the limits! Best place for breakfast!
To be honest a descent cafe with descent pricing.....3 dish + 3 tea......170 rs......what you expect more. Gave a goan vibe .....much kind of a place like persian cafes at bombay......good bite with a good price....
Yummiest Goan snacks. Love their bhaaji-pao and buns. Just that place is small and always crowded. You have to eat asap. If you want to meet over and discuss then this in not the place.

Decent vegetarian restaurant. Doesn't really live up to potential. Decent bhaji, mirchi and amazing samosas. Placed in the heart of the city, service is quick. However pretty slow at odd hours if you're ordering for puris.
I've been going to Goa every year for past 2 decades.. and this place has not changed a bit since the first time.. to me, this one represents Goan culture as close as possible.. order puri bhaji (patal bhaji/ suki bhaji/ mixed bhaji), mirchi bhaji, chaha (tea) and you turn into a goan for next few minutes.. authentic, unassuming and delicios quick goan stop.. I hope this place never changes !
Cafe real gives your real goa breakfast any time of the day. Mirchi bhajis are my favorite. The patal/sukhi bhaji with pao/buns is a must try
We were looking for a place that served some English breakfast, but in our search for places we somehow ended up at this cafe in Panaji.
Pure vegetarian! Reading that sign my husband took a step back and hesitated entering, me being a veg lover dragged him in.
A very limited menu, seeing that we decided to have coffee and leave. Coffee was good and refreshing. Then to accompany our coffee we ordered Mirchi Pakoras, yummmm they were, d batter was real tasty.
Seeing people at every table order bun and bhaaji we decided to try it and was good enough, thus we ended up eating a typical Goan breakfast at this cafe.

A good place to have a tea or coffee and a nice bhaji pao/puri...this place is usually packed by evening with working people dropping by often...not very expensive but u gotta wait for a seat sometimes or just join a table the moment u find a seat..
small and great breakfast or tea place right in the heart of panjim
try the special real lime soda
Bhajis and puris are real good here with mirchis
PROTIP: you will miss it while passing so look for the giant reebok/adidas store its under it
Been going here for 2 years and still crazy about it. For all the tea and puri bhaji lovers, this is it...
This place was not in my 'To Visit' list during my Goa trip but as I walked through the streets I saw it and recalled I had been there before (10 years?) and had enjoyed the food. So I visited and enjoyed it again. The place looked completely new with glass walls and doors, marbles etc. Food and service was same as before.
Poori Bhaji is a standard food item in most of local cafes and that's what I tried here too. I love the colors of yellow aloo bhaji with cut green chilies. I learnt from my experience in different local cafes here that bread here means paav or bun. They don't have sliced bread. So when you ask for bread they give you paav or bun. The bun also features in menu but if you order that you will get one bhatura like puri in a dish which is mildly sweet. Poori-bhaji, potato or mirchi vada with hot coffee or tea can be a perfect breakfast.
I didn't find the place congested as others suggest. It's an old cafe with legacy like Irani cafes in Mumbai, Pune. The tables will be small and tightly packed. It's a local cafe frequented more by locals than tourists. It's meant for quick bite and chit chats and there will be rush before and after office hours. When I see it fully packed I don't get disappointed, I just watch the servers deliver orders, take in the aroma and salivate until it's my turn to devour ;)
Awesome food . The local bhaaji Pav a must have . The dosa s are not up the mark I must say . The cold coffe was excellent. Very clean , service is top notch .
It's a nice Cafe where one gets good goan veg snacks. Remember visiting it earlier also on our earlier goa visits but that time I think it was non-AC. Need to admit that even after going AC, it seems to carry same old rush. We got exclusive table after 5 minutes. Ordered puri bhai, mirchi pakoras & sweet bun. All tasted fine except for mirchi which we felt as too mirchi. Overall a nice Cafe.
If you like goan style breakfast snacks then you have to visit this place. They prove basic snacks like patal bhaji, mirchi, samosa etc. Prices are fair as per the dishes they provide. The only issue is the place is in the city with small space but if there is no much rush then you can get the seats easily.
Provides Authentic Goan breakfast and evening snacks. Usually crowded during the peak hours as its a regular place for surrounding office goers. Located right in the heart of city. Food is pretty good and service too is very prompt. It is one of the well known cafes in panaji which is pretty well mantained over time.
Was once a favourite place of my grand father's, so visited it many times during childhood, used to have nice south indian foods, not been here recently.....
Breakfast in Goa it has to be here. Worth the price for the breakfast they offer. Bhaji, paav & coffee perfect breakfast in Goa for reasonable price that too in Real's.
The samosa , sukhi bhaji and cold coffee are to die for ! If you visit panaji , please do visit this iconic place.
Always crowded during breakfast times but the food is worth the wait.
Breakfast, Quick snack, tea, just like that... best sukhi bhaji in Panjim. Quick service. You're lucky if you get a seat here. It's almost always crowded. Nice stop over for refreshments. Been eating here since I was a child and nothing much has changed apart from the look of the restaurant.
This is the place for quick bites, a place where conversations are sprung over a cup of tea, or some pūri bhāji (often an assortment of veggies or just potato in gravy accompanied by Indian breads like pūri or pāv). If there's one place for pūri bhāji, it's this!
Another landmark cafe in Panjim area. We have been doing takeaways for a long time from here. It was out first dinein experience. Off the bat the place looks nice, albeit small. Service is susegado, laid back. If you are used to cafe bhosle's quick effecient service then U'd find them slow.
We ordered mix baji pav, Uno bread served with this was excellent. Baji was taste too. Coffee was delecious.
Parking: there is paid parking on the same road as the restaurant. Easy to find spot if you are here before 9am.
Lovely place to have snacks in Panjim. Ambience is nice and this place is air conditioned. Try the mix bhaji it's decent enough. The masala dosa is really tasty.
Heavenly tasty spread😍
Everything was best and must visit cafe in Panjim 😍

Cafe Real from the outside looks like a slice of a time gone by and when you step inside (after standing in line- can be crowded as hell this place) you are greeted to a beautifully adorned restaurant in an unbelievably small space. Coming to the food, I tried the Potato Bhaji and the Puris which were amazing. The potatoes were well cooked and spiced just right. The puris were fluffy and tasty. Overall a great experience and a different take on the vegetarian cuisine compared to the regular Udupi Hotels.
Great food and great experience!
Located at the centre of the capital, i stop here everytime I'm around the city for a snack.
The place is beautifully designed and I think it is one of the oldest cafe in Panaji.
I'll tell you why I love the snacks I have here, it's because they serve it Hot, they serve in fast.
Mind you the place fills up quickly during the busy office hours. I somehow managed to snag a place.
Hoping to visit soon!
Great place to have goan breakfast & good fast service… friendly atmoshphere.👌🏻👌🏻
Ambience ,seating & taste is Good , tried Utthapa & coffee and it was good . One of the best Uthappa I have ever tasted .
Strawberry crush not so good.
They also serve things like Vada , dosa , sheera , puri etc
Nice Goan restaurant with goan breakfast and snacks menu. Finding parking for four wheeler may be a headache.
Great joint to have hot snacks like mirchi bhajji, Vada pav, puri bhaji, poi bhaji, typically Goan masala bhaji and all other regular snacks.
Right in centre of action in downtown Panaji.
Lovely place for goan breakfast! The mix bhaaji ,Suki bhaaji une is yum! The goan Samosa was very good! The buns were hot and fresh.
It's an old school cafe...old fashioned sitting arrangement... elderly people serving you..... you'll get Puri bhaji...South Indian delicacies and real good Indian authentic coffee (not cappuccino etc. etc.) If you're tired of same sandwiches, pastas, pizza etc... Come here for some Indian food at a reasonable price.
Really amazing place to get authentic vegeterian Goan breakfast and meals. Loved the Buns and Chilli Pakora. Items like patal bhaji and chana masala are a bit less spicy for people who are used to eating spicy food but they are tasty nonetheless. Do try Pao, for a unique type of bread which you don't regularly get outside Goa!
All in all, loved it🤩
Must visit for breakfast if one is in or around Panaji. Serves the most delicious Puri Bhaji one could taste anywhere in not just Goa but India. Also, their bhaji is a mix of chole and aloo which is unique to this place. Reasonably priced and hygienic, put this place in your must visit list surely!
A classic Goan bhaaji place for breakfast and more.
Been going here for years and love the consistency.
Would recommend the puri with suki bhaji.
It is a beautifully constructed place right in the middle of Panjim market and their food is amazing. It is a small and cosy place with numerous food options and that too for decent prices. Would recommend trying the idli sambur, cold coffee and if you want something different, then try the chocolate tea. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
