One the bestest Asian cuisine I have ever been ...the food is finger licking...In starters v went on to Malaysian popiah and tangy chilli ,chicken Momo's and latseun ...v could feel each ingredients in it the taste is outstanding ..one shuld definitely try it out ..they have variety of dishes ...the servicmg was great too..And the low lighting ambience gives you really gud vibe ..a place must to visit for it's amazing food...

The place has a cool vibe about it, lovely ambience and music too besides cool air conditioning. The beef in oyster sauce, burnt garlic fried rice with bacon, Tom yung seafood soup and pork noodles soup were all amazing. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
Nice ambience. Food quantity is descent and taste is good. Complementary dish i.e. the fried noodles tasted amazing with the perfect balance of flavors. We had ordered chicken dimsums and panko fried chicken both were tasty. Loved their fried ice cream. Will definitely visit again to try more dishes.

When it comes to authentic taste and authentic food, TAO is the name I will like to take with respect. When I visited this place for first time I was impressed by their beautiful decor the soothing music and lovely light settings which make this whole place a super relaxing spot. The food is authentic Chinese, when I read the menu I couldn't identify or understand even one dish. But the staff helped me to select fishes which I would love and yes they were best !

This was the best stop when we we're on a roll to North Goa! It has the most authentic Chinese cuisine. The decor and hospitality was quite soothing.

This restaurant is an absolute delight being located along the Goan coast. We were served complementary lemongrass tea,flavored fried noodles and i couldn't get enough of it.

One of the best asian restaurants in Goa. We landed there just by change during our visit in september 2018 and went Gaga over the food they serve. Tried their gado gado salad, prawn Momos, grilled mushroom n khao sui. All the dishes were tasted out of the world. The staff is very courteous and they are very reasonably priced. Tao is now on top of the charts in our list of best restaurants in Goa. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Ambience ā By the beach . . . or near so . . . opposite Kala Academy, the location is right on the main road to Miramar and yet a quaint place midst the hustle bustle. The dĆ©cor is red and black with hanging wooden lamp on tables. Lighting is pretty cool and overall, the place gives neat and hygienic appearance.
Food ā Deserves full 5 STARS. Every item ordered was in its own class and was right up there in taste and presentation. Raspberry cooler was finely fused. We were welcomed with a complimentary dish of spicy bhujia-like starter. The ginger tainted noodles were truly out-of-the-world. Superb balance of tanginess and spicy taste of ribbon like flat noodles. Padh Thai was well mixed with veggies and spice ā lip smacking! Both mocktails were zesty.
Service ā It was very prompt and lively. The stewards knew speciality and content of all dishes and recommended a few as well. The place, I felt, lacked the āXā factor. Recorded music being played on a Saturday nite is just about okay in a place like Goa where live music / band is the order of the day. A guy playing live saxophone in a corner would have been a reason for a sure shot re-visit.
But surely for its authentic taste, the place deserves a second visit.

Food - We tried the following things -
a) Dimsums - We tried both prawns and chicken simsums and ohh boy they were perfect. Melt in mouth crust and soft chicken and prawns. They are adequate and size and quantity. Really amazed with them.
b) Clear Soup with Bak Choi and dimsums - Well this was as expected , very minimum taste ( almost no salt and chilli ) , with tiny chunks of chicken. Not our favourite though.
c) Roast Duck in Seasame - Well the duck was soft on tbe outside , and had a delicate texture but not so good in taste. They can work on the same. Quantity is a disspointment though.
d) Grilled Fish in Banana Leaf - Perfectly cooked melt in mouth fish. A Must Try !!!
Overall Exp - A must try place to taste some amazing Chinese and Thai cusines.

Loved this place alot.. After trying multiple Goan cuisines we just wanted to try something new and ended up here after hearing alot about it. A small family place right opposite to the river banks where all the casino ships are parked. Taste was really good. A Lil pricey but a good dine out place.
One downside I found was the washroom which was common for both men and women and the washbasin was inside the bathroom so there always a queue in front of the toilet.
If you like spicy and Chinese / Thai food, this is the place to be. Good food. Nice ambience open air if the weather is good. Drinks menu can get an upgrade though.

@TaoGoa truly embarrassed itself today. After informing the wait staff to make sure there was no prawn in any of the food because of a violent allergy,not only did they first bring out an order of Prawn Pan Fried noodles, after we pointed out the mistake all they did was take the plate back to the kitchen, take out the prawns on top and bring bring back the same dish. After we asked them to confirm it was a fresh plate with no prawns , they assured us it was. We even said that if there was any prawn they would have to call an ambulance. The waiter simply laughed and walked off. A spoonful was enough to affect the person. When we checked the bowl , the prawns on the bottom surfaced. You could have killed someone with your stupidity!!!!! Maybe you wonāt understand the severity of the issue unless it comes to that. I chose not to be part of it or have anyone I know be part of it. #UTTERFKNGBS

The place was bang on the main road, had a great vibe, good ambience, super service and great food and drinks! Servers were so polite and pleasant, made great recommendations. Food was out of the ordinary and super tasty (could have been less oily) yet tasted great!
Best place to have Chinese food in Goa. This place seems costly but it's not. The food was tasty. All the items we tried were Chinese only. In desserts, chocolate brownie is the best option. They serve everything in bamboo dishes. Ambiance is good. The place is close to Miramar beach, so you will get that beach breath also here if you sit outside.
My new favorite, Everytime I crave to have something in duck, I end up here. Great place. Great staff. Great Food. I am particularly found of their sizzlers.

A Pan Asian Cuisine Restaurant, located at A-1 Pinto Arcade,directly opposite Campal Gymkhana and close to Miramar beach. The place has ample parking space and is right on the main road,hence it is easily accessible
Tao,offers Indoor and outdoor seating.There is an allure to the awesome ambience. It is as though you are drawn into the aura of crimson colour and the beat of the music.
We were greeted by warm and welcoming host, who guided us to a table by the window with a view. One couldn't help but notice the bar was beautiful and an attractive array of choices was displayed on a real boat mounted on a wall.Apparently the bar is touted as the best bar in the city.
The host was attentive and guided us to an exquisite assortment of starters from the expansive menu. We were served with complimentary crispy noodles served in a wooden canoe. This was followed by sizzler
Veg Dimsums since we didn't want mushrooms, they customised it according to our requirement.

We had chicken chilly Basil I also call it chicken amazeballs since the day I ate it, truly flavoursome . Also ordered Chilly Basil fried rice, very tasty, was expecting it to be a bit more spicy. We we're suggested tangy gravy to go along with the rice but the taste of the gravy was so-so and it was watery. They also had some complementary dish to offer, which was served in a half cut bamboo stem, very presentable. Not sure what it was maybe fried noodles or sev mixed with sauces, was good though.

One of the best Pan Asian restaurant in Panjim. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Though the outdoor is little close to the road and you can hear the noise, but the ambience is good. Service is little slow during peak hours.
I keep coming back to munch on squids in sesame sauce and sipping on chicken soup here. Chicken Sizzler was mild in spice. In dessert they serve delicious walnut and date pancake topped with chocolate syrup.
Overall, a great place to dine-in!

The Pan Asian food that you'd find here is probably the best in Panjim. I wasn't disappointed by even a single dish here. I personally loved the Gaprow wantons and the grilled beef. If you're a beef fan then you need to try out Tao. All their beef dishes are exceptional. The cocktails here are good as well and if you've got a sweet tooth I recommend the Illusion. The service here is another highlight. Dishes are laid on your table within 20min of ordering them even if the place is full. They both indoor and outdoor seating areas although I find the outdoor one a little too close to the road. All in all an excellent restaurant
Taoās location is excellent, on the road from Panaji to miramar. Apart from the location the ambience is also quite good. Now the food, we ordered the dimsums, Kang pao chicken, burnt garlic fried rice and prawns in chilly garlic sauce. I would agree with other reviewers that itās a bit spicy compared to other restaurants. And also the quantity of the starters apart from dimsums is less. But I overall the food was good.

It has been a while since my last review of a restaurant. But that doesn't mean I haven't gone to any other places. It's just that when I eat at a place which feels special to me, I try to share it with the world. There are so many good restaurants at Panaji, it's hard to pick one from them. Also, this was our first visit to Goa. Clearly we needed some good advice, and man what a good advice it was to have lunch in a place like Tao. From outside the restaurant looks very comfy and cozy to be very precise. It has the accommodation of both AC and non-AC and it has a bar which makes it even more special. The place is very clean, and I meant it to the last detail. The food was the high point of the great time we had there, though the green thai curry lacked some flavors. The only thing that curry tasted was coconut. But the rest of the food, specially the lamb chops were out of the world, and so was the dimsums. The people who worked there were really friendly and helpful with the menu. It was a good thing we reserved the place by calling them up. The place is always booked and it's hard to get reservations for more than 5 to 10 people. But the experience was really good.

We had ordered for exotic vegetables in schwezawan sauce with friend rice , soup and Schweppes ginger ale by the bottle which was fantastic in terms of taste , presentation and portion size . The food is good for the Indian palate as it is not authentic Chinese so people who like Indo Chinese will love it to every bit .

Great place.. For all the negative things people told me, this is actually a great place.. Food super.. Service super.. Ambiance decent too. The teriyaki was OK. I had better at yaki zuchi. Been there once for lunch. Good ambiance, staffs are polite in behavior. We orderedĀ chicken and veg sizzlers. It was good but I have tried better sizzlers and the taste could have been better. the portions of sizzlers were quite small also as compared to other places.Ā

Ambiance is nice and cosy. Staff is well informed about the menu they serve. Ordered for lot of stuff mostly Asian Chinese. Liked it and will keep visiting again or call for home delivery.

You must try the fried wontons or dimsums as they are my all time favourites and flat noodles in the mains. They have some yummy Asian sizzlers to choose from. The restaurant also has a bar menu offering great blends and neat drinks as in the menu. Iāv tried the martini and Cosmo a few times ! But my all time favourite the mojito is made really well here. Just how I like it!
I loved their chicken dumplings!! The dumplings were just too awesome with a taste that still lingers.I accidentally visited this place on a day when it was raining heavily. So, we got a table outdoors within no time. It was a perfect ambience with the right choice of food. We were also presented a complementary dish when we just had a seat :) Friendly and courteous staff.

So finally I visit tao. Awesome place if you want to try some chinese, thai and asian cuisines. The place has nice ambience to it and the staff is helpful. For my dinner first item that came to me was the complimentary Chinese bhel which tasted yummy. Then the lat suen soup was something new that I have tried for the first time and it tasted really good. Then the exotic vegetable for starters and veg sizzler for main course added to the beauty. About the sizzler I felt both the quantity and quality has lot of scope for improvement. I hope the management will work on it.
The menu is a good mix of pan Asian cuisine. I had Roast Pork flat noodle soup and Spiced Fish Grilled in Banana leaves (Balinese). The soup was just fine. The fish was aromatic, cooked well and melted in my mouth. Would go back to try more stuff.

just happened to be in Tao, raining and humid made us lunch at Tao. we read the name on menu card. so it was completely unplanned place. very neat is the first observation of the place, staff is properly trained and well mannered. they were quite informed about the menu and gave us suggestion while deciding the order. we ordered 1 starter , 2 main course, 2 deserts. everything had a distinct identity not a single flavor was repeated. bill was about 2000rs. not a pocket friendly place by that standards. will recommend if you are bored of eating costal food on your goa holiday it's a nice change.

I came here on an afternoon for lunch with my girlies. The seating is divided into 2 sections- a sheltered outdoor area and in indoor AC seating. We decided to go with sizzlers. I ordered a veg sizzler while my friends had the chicken sizzler. The sizzlers came with either veggies/ chicken in a sauce of your choice, rice and chips. The veg sizzler didn't impress me. My friends enjoyed their chicken sizzlers though. For desert, the brownie with vanilla ice cream is a must. It was a great end to the meal.
When you crave about the food the next day after you ate it, you know you have had one of the best meals!!!

Have been a regular visitor to this place, especially the Panjim one. My favourite has been their Dahi wada!
The serving staff is friendly and courteous. I have been lucky to be attended by Tuhin bhai often, and he is really good with giving prompt attention and timely service. Would be visiting whenever I am in Goa š
Good option for vegetarian food in Goa. I tried their outlets at Panjim and Siolim. Both were of good standard. Quality and quantity of food and service were good. Must try items were poori bhaji, mushroom xacuti, mango lassi etc. Mr. Sreekumar at the front office was very friendly and helpful.

The Restaurant looks good inside, the ambience and vibe is good too. Also the restaurant is well maintained. It offers quite a lot variety to choose from, ppl suggest getting Goan snacks, i didn't try so I can't tell, I tried veg dum biryani (veg pulao ā¢Ģā Ā ā Ā ā āæā Ā ā ,ā ā¢Ģ), it wasn't the best. The prices are average and not tooo expensive!.

Had ordered their mini punjabi meal from swiggy. Packaging was quiet handy. Have to agree it's a little bit difficult to eat with wooden fork. Quantity was quiet good ,considering that the price was just 110 rupees.Taste was good.

Whenever we're visiting Panjim (once a year), we always seem to visit Navtara at least once. Great place for udipi cuisine, or a light Chaat snack. I'm not a tea or coffee afficionado, but I see most patrons relishing the hot beverages. The chickoo milkshake was good but lacking sweetness. I prefer they err on the side of less sweet as they're obliging when one requests more sugar. Dosas are nothing to write home about. The wildly spinning overhead fans make the food cold before you can say "Jack Robinson".. (who the heck is Jack anyway?!) I guess in the heat of Goa, one would rather eat hot food that goes cold quickly, rather than perspire in the stifling heat.
