If you are looking for a quite place to chill and enjoy a few drinks with your friends then this is a perfect place.The ambience of this place is lovely and has good music. The seating by the balcony facing the Patto bridge is lovely.Inshort great ambience but they need to work on their food. We had ordered pizza which was not up to the mark.

Location : We were roaming around in Fountainhas Goa, desperately seeking a good place to eat and this amazing place came to our rescue.
Ambience: Situated alongside a canal, this place has a marvellous Portuguese like ambience.
Food : It has a wide menu and offers a great variety of European , Goan and other Indian cuisines.
We opted for baguettes and tried the Triple Cheese baguette and Chicken Sausage baguette.
Both the baguettes served with fries were deliciously made and were very fulfilling to our hunger. Cheese lovers would love the triple cheese baguette while chicken lovers can opt for the latter.
We also had cheesy nachos . They were amazing too.
Staff and Service: The staff and Service both were good. The beautiful ambience makes you crave that the service be slow so that you can be at this amazing place for a longer time :D
We loved this place so much that we would want to visit it everytime we go to Goa, because who doesn't love the deadly combination of an amazing ambience and some great food.

I happened to stumble upon Down The Road (DTR) by accident. I was walking around the neighbourhood and saw this well lit, lively place full of energy and decided to give it a try. And I am so glad i did.
DTR is a lovely experience of Goa. I have been here thrice (one the same trip) and it was always buzzing. The place has a great feel and the live musicians really help in setting a chilled out Goan mood.
I would highly recommend this place for people looking to have a great night out, with some lovely live music and drinks!

A classic restaurant for delicious Goan food. Been consistent in their taste and quality of food. Wish I had pictures but I don't. A few dishes to try would be their cheese naans, beef chilly fry and triple fried rice!
Best place in panjim to chill with some finger food while watching your favorite game on the big screen. The food is reasonably priced and ambience are great but Service is usually slow on a crowded day.

Good place, visiting goa since last 1 year and was willing to visit since long. Finally done. The view from this place is amazing, good food served with good view. Loved the food there and moreover enjoyed the view from the table. High five to the staff keep it up.
Nice ambience, really by the riverside with a vintage flavour. Food is good. I am a regular customer. However, some of the staff need to be trained.
We were served Raita prepared with stale curd. The waiter himself tasted and confirmed the fact but didn't replace it and charged for it in the bill. The masala papad was soggy. Hope management takes appropriate steps in this regard.

Set in Panaji, it's a good budget restaurant. They have a restaurant upstairs known by the name of Riverfront and bar underground is called Down the road. Their Italian food is amazing but the need to improve on the Indian Cuisine.
The drinks were priced on the higher side as well.

This is a beautiful restaurant housed in a beautiful old Portuguese style Villa at a beautiful location. Down the road has been there since many years but for some reason, I never visited the place before.
Once while scouting for a place for dinner with hubby, on an impulse, entered this restaurant. And... For sure. No regrets.
It was Christmas time and the restaurant was beautifully decorated with lights, stars and glass paintings. What I loved most is the utilization of space. There is indoor seating and gallery too accommodates people. We obviously chose to sit out. It was such a perfect setting, December cool breeze mixed with the smell of the sea and slow tracks playing in the background. Down the road won my heart here itself.
Now coming to the food part, everything was superb. For drinks, we stuck to our regular, Breezer and beer.
Started our meal with chicken mexicana pizza and Mongolian prawns. The pizza was a thin crust with chicken, onion, jalapenos and lots of cheese. It was profusely topped and extremely delicious. Mongolian prawns was ordered at the suggestion of our server. So it had to be good. And it was.. with the right mix of sauces and the tenderness of prawns.
Lastly, we ordered Mediterranean stuffed chicken. This dish was accompanied with mashed potato, bread, buttered veggies and a yogurt dip. The chicken was deliciously stuffed with cheese. It always makes for a great combination. Mashed potato was extremely smooth and perfectly gooey.
Everything about this dinner was great. Will surely visit again for their other delicacies.

Was there for a late morning coffee with a friend a day after Christmas and was charmed by the ambience all the decorations were still on and the place looked real cozy. Sat out on the first floor balcony , nice and breeze. The service was pretty prompt and courteous , in all a nice package. Unfortunately they were out of most baked good so just had a Caramel custard to accompany my Americano , good stuff. As I did not actually dine here , can not really comment on the food but by the look could safely assume that it would be nice only.
With the great location on the corner and the service and ambiance will certainly recommend as a place to hang out at. 😎

Visited DTR as the locals call it couple of days ago with bunch of my friends. Must say a definitely go to place in Goa. Food is amazing and so is the ambience. A lovely place to spend the evening. People are friendly and very helpful so is their manager Rohit who was quite accommodating and warm in treating his guests and making sure their time is well spent. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!!!
DTR.would rather suggest as a must visit for everyone out there .food is awesome, ambience and service was great an excellent choice in Goa for continental. Newly joined smart guy helped us for order .
We went there for lunch and it was not crowded, so we could have lunch in peace. It looks like a place where you can spend your evening. We ordered Veg Fried Rice and Veg Manchurian. Both were good in taste. We ordered Hoegaarden from tap too.

A great place, with a vista and amazing ambience. Among the dishes, Chicken lollipop was just wow. Service is pretty good. Must try if in and around panjim.

Good place to have glass of beer and yummie food. The quality and taste of food is awesome. It's location is quite easy to reach. The view is also good.
Amazing place and great food. The ambience is beautifully set with the riverfront as a breath taking view. The food does not disappoint [at least for us ;-)]. The staff are courteous and always ready to attend. A must visit if you are in Panjim.

Chicken Lollipop - Your basic no nonsense lollipop. Is there anything remarkable about it? No. But will I be happy if I received it every time I ordered it? Absolutely yes. A classic done right
Steak in mushroom & pepper sauce - nice blend of mushroom sauce and pepper covering an almost perfect medium done steak. I wouldn’t complain about a small temperature difference because this is not a steak/grill centric place. But for what is, it’s worth it.
Crumb Fried Chicken Steak - a nicely breaded chicken with crispy crunchy outside and a well balanced taste inside. Sauce that accompanied it was nice too. And special mention to the crispy golden well seasoned fries.
Beef steak topped with ham and egg - Again a good steak here. The sauce again was an absolute star in this one too. I didn’t expect the pepper in it, but it’s not at all overpowering. Well balanced steak. Again, it was over medium, but then I’ve given them a pass on it.
Butter garlic chicken pasta - I felt the pasta could’ve been better. It has a heaviness of butter and the magic of garlic in it but somewhere something was missing. I couldn’t put my finger on it. It just felt like a dish that needs a step or two to be perfect. Chicken was slightly over cooked but it wasn’t bad enough to be sent back. Overall I think this could be better.

THIS IS A PUB NOT A RESTAURANT !! Many people mistake this and submit a wrong review Don't expect fine dinning quality of presentation and food. Having that being said, The food is tastes like your normal street food but in a better presentation and that's it. Its price is not bad for its location and if you are drinking too then you probably wont notice it :P The food needs some improvement and this is where it looses a star. BUT WAIT!! The ambiance is something and for that it gets a star back. Overall IF YOUR PLANS ARE TO DRINK AND RELAX then look no further. A really chilled out vibe says it all :D Don't forget to reserve or go early if u want a good spot. An evening by the river with some beers, decent food and your date or friends is something that they will appreciate :P

We visited this on a Saturday. It's located in the heart of the panajim city. This is one of the oldest restaurant. Really good ambience specially if u take the outdoor sitting. We ordered battered fired squids, fried chicken and chicken biryani. The food was pretty good in quantity and the taste was also amazing. Its pocket friendly restaurant. A good one to hangout with friends. Will definitely visit it again.

DTR was one of my go to pubs in Panjim. Usually filled with locals, it’s located by a river with some great music and lively crowd.

My goto pub whenever I'm in Goa for many reasons.. It's down the road from where I stay, it's got outdoor seating facing the river, their music is not loud and they are easy on the pocket.
They have all varieties of food and drinks. The ambience recently was on Fifa world Cup and it lifted the earlier ambience by a good notch.
Service is slow for food when it's crowded and this can be improved.
One goof up they did this time was giving nv starter in place of veg. This can be disastrous. So please verify if you are vegetarian.

First of all i would like to say that this place has an amazing location right next to Old Patto bridge overlooking the river. It has a great ambience and very prompt staff. Service was excellent as well. I had ordered Beef chilly fry, Prawns butter garlic & Chicken steak. Everything was on point but I am a fan of their beef chilly fry. Head to this place to spend a romantic evening with your loved one, sit on their outdoor corridor & enjoy the amazing view. I have tried a variety of things here and each dish kept up to its mark. My most fav was the beef chilly fry and double patty beef burger which was really perfect. My friends loved the calamari and crispy chicken burger. The outside balcony view is nice and calming. This was my 2nd time here and I can't wait to come back this year!

Its a nice place to relax just in the heart of panjim city.. if possible try finding a place outside in the gallery overlooking the river.. you will enjoy the rains if u sit there.. food is good.. Chinese dishes are available quickly but others take time.. the restaurant has stopped serving alcohol now☹️..
Great ambience. Very good looking place first up but the food isn't that great. We tried Squids which was okayish, the Chicken Lollipop was good, the steaks weren't that great either. Crispy Chicken was awesome, one should try that. The service was very good. Prices are slightly on the higher side. Overall, a decent visit.
Very good food and good service. Staff is also very hospitable and friendly. Beef menu is really great and worth trying plays good music and sports a big screen for sports live events.

One of the best dum Biryani ever had. Amazing taste.. we ordered Biryani and it was filled with spices and flavourful taste. We also ordered masala papad and crispy Vegetables both were good not as good as Biryani. Ambience was ok. Servers served very fast.
A decent space near the bus stand to have breakfast. We tried puri bhaji, medu vada, Goan pao and lassi. All the food items were very refreshing. The price is very reasonable.
Try the Deluxe Thali
Probably the best Punjabi Thali that I've had in Goa. All dishes were very tasty and spicy, as they should be. It includes a sweet plate too. I had it with Mango Lassi and it was absolute pleasure. Service was excellent as well. Very prompt and attentive.
Near to Panjim busstand and affordable prices. But only thing is it is very congested. Not suitable for groups and couples. It's ok for quick bites. A/C also available. Parking is not a big problem here as there is a good space and moreover it's not on the main road so no much disturbance.

Basically it's a Pure Veg Hotel..Food was of great quality, having reasonable rates. Before 10o'clock in morning limited breakfast items were available. Thali System is Available but they do serve only 2 variety Veg Thali and Deluxe Veg Thali. Deluxe Veg thali was great. Recommended for Pure Veg Food.
A really nice breakfast place in Panji bus stand area. The idlis we had were so mind blowing that we forgot to click the food pictures and went straight to munching. Masala tea was also good. Will visit again for quick morning bites.

This is a very good restaurant situated at Patto panaji... You get served very fast and the quality of food is also very good... Nice staff... And the most important thing is that it is very much affordable. Even a college going student can enjoy a good meal here... They have 2 outlets side by side. They provide air conditioning as well as non air conditioning type... Air conditioning compartment charges are slightly higher... But if compared to other hotels and restaurants nearby and the quality with which they serve the food, charges are quiet good.... I personally loved this restaurant. And i would like to recommend this too... After having a long day at office or college u can just seat peacefully at this place and have ur dinner.... Also this place gives nice views through which you can just gaze at the beauty of panaji patto... A good restaurant for office meetings...and to hangout also... There is central liabrary nearby also mangrove park... And it is closer to all the government offices... Lastly a good place to feed your tummy... Thankyou..!!
