Went for the Bengali food festival. The food was good and the menu was short and crisp,so was easy for us to place the orders. The quantity was sufficient for two people. Enjoyed the evening and the Bengali cuisine.
Great place for a buffet and great disp look at on the menu... they have a lot of offers in terms of alcohol... don't forget to ask them! The prices are nominal but due to gst it fall a bit expensive but definitely manageable...
Went there for a birthday dinner. Order a mix of pasta and pizza with hummus and pita.
The pasta was great. It was aldante and the sauce was creamy. The pizzas were huge and well baked. The highlight was the hummus and pita. They gave a salsa with it too which was fresh.
Lovely place and must to go one😇
Excellent food. We had à la carte and tried both indian as well as continental. A lot of options for vegetarians too! Extremely courteous and friendly staff. We had a great time !!
I came here passing by in Panjim. My Dad wanted to have the buffet.
A great spread to say the least and amazingly cooked! For Rs 650, it is a steal!
Unfortunately I could not eat it since I was having a tipsy tummy on the day! But Dad n Sis were delighted and could not fault them for anything!
The only thing was that they do not serve the other outlets food in this restaurant, so so had to go to the other restaurant to have the Dosa!
Try the Buffet spread there. It ranges from Indian to oriental , food always is of good quality and the staff is always willing to help. The cost of the buffet spread is affordable and the spread is always appetising.
Every time I visit this place, i always leave with a smile and fulfilled tummy 😁
This time tried their breakfast buffet.
Choice of food- south indian like idli, vada and English breakfast with wide variety of breads, sides, they even serve doughnuts n muffins early morning. Also a coffee machine with brews fresh coffees like expresso, latte, cappachino. A wide range of fruit juices and cut fruits. With cornflakes, museili, etc. And all of this just for 399.
Taste - absolutely delicious, no complaints
Quantity - unlimited
Worth every penny
Ambience - 5/5
Service and staff are very polite and helpful
If u reach early morning to panjim dont forget to go to this place. 🙂
Actually I opted this restaurant because of Crab Cake and I am a big fan of Crab cake that I miss in India. We also ordered Cesar salad and hummus baba ganaush with pita bread. They were good. crab cake was big turn down.. First, it has less crab meat and more potato and cheese. It had 7 patties, which i think could have been just two (little bigger in size) with more crab meat and potato just to bind!!. It would have taste authentic... Exta point is given for Chef's generosity to come and apologize when I get crab shell... But, i understand this is most common issue when you work with Indian crab meat!!
I still want to visit once again to check if the chef can try to cook a customized authentic Crab cake for me..😊
Update: we went again today... This time Lasagna and roasted cheesy chicken. They were awesome!! The complementary desert to my kid was awesome in taste...
I tempt to give 5/5... But giving 4/5 only due to my love on crab cake!!
Have always had a nice experience at Fidalgo; started frequenting this place since 2015. Tried variety from their Indian, Continental and Chinese menu and its has always lived up to our expectations.
Since they have the buffet spread with scores of dishes to choose from, the a la carte order takes time to be served. Reasonable rates, decent interiors and the servers are warm to remember you every time you visit and ever ready to pack doggy bags with the leftovers
The place is always full on weekends and occasionally noisy when small children are around. Parking is available, restaurants on the ground floor which makes it accessible for elderly people.
Yesterday I tried buffet with my friends here, staff gave complementary cake for my friend for his birthday. The food it's god level taste and best place to eat and enjoy. Staff is friendly and very helpful, and its not expensive which is good thing
I always love to visit this place. This was my 2nd time I tried this place. I absolutely love this mocktail Tarsh of the day. It is a must try if you love mocktails. Good ambience and service. This restaurant is absolutely value for money.
A nice place to dine in the city. Located right on the main road. They have this buffet option which is okayish. They have got a decent selection with options like Biryani, Goan Seafood, lovely salads etc. The starters are not well defined and was really looking forward to more choices in the desserts. On the whole had a good time as the food turned out to be delicious!
We tried the Tunisian Orange Glazed Chicken Wings & the Spinach Risotto with Fish Fillet (Basa served). The 4 stars is solely because my Spinach Risotto had no Spinach but it was very very nicely made and could easily win a foodie's heart. The wings are probably the best that I ever had and the sauce with the wings was to die for! Keep rocking you guys!
Great buffet option surrounding of Panaji, staff is friendly and pretty good ambiance. Tried dinner buffet there last week, and it was so good in taste and quality plus desserts are very good in verity. If you're in Goa that to in Panaji, sure thing to visit this place. Go for it.
amazing food and amazing hospitality the food here was just wow i will surely recommened the place to all my friends and see you the next time when I am in goaaa
We visited here for the dinner buffet during our stay in Panjim. We were looking for a good place for dinner and found this place to be at the walking distance from our hotel. The board outside this restaurant showed special dinner buffet @649/. The ambience was good. Prompt and courteous staff. The buffet itself had vast collection of items, starting from Salads, soups, pasta etc. It also had a live counter, where e enjoyed one mean called Chicken Nutmeg (forgot he original name): it was delicious. Starters, both veg and chicken was ok. In the main course, biryani was nice. The other thing we liked there was the collection of deserts: we specially liked the Amarkhand. unfortunately, the dinner buffet didn't include a complimentary Mocktail or something. So we ordered Virgin Mojito separately: and trust me it was one of the best Mojitos I have ever had. Overall a good place to have lunch/dinner if your budget suffices.
Had opted for the buffet dinner. It's cost is approx 650/- + taxes with 50+ items on the menu.
Food quality : 4/5
Taste : 4/5
Money worth : 3/5

Highly recommended!!!
We visited here for the breakfast buffet. We liked the live Dosa/Uttappa stations and they served fresh omelette on request. They had other Tiffin items too, and fresh fruits and fruit juice. Good variety. Service is a bit slow. We had visited during peak season, so the place was busy. Staff at breakfast was friendly and manager was also actively making sure guests are taken care of. Adding 0.5 points for just this.
Place with good variety for choice in the heart of the city. Buffet is the best option to try out dishes and cost effective, had an amazing experience during a sudden lunch plan
Had dinner with girl friends. Menu is perfect, awesome food. Service was awesome***** and staff is very friendly specially chilli n spice. Will be back definitely!
Awesome food....had a memorable time
Food was yummmy .
I had The murg malai kebab which was really juicy,Tender and cooked perfection
I would recommend this place to all .........
Located at the ground floor of popular Hotel Fidalgo with another two trademark veg restaurant.
I went for the dinner buffet which had the vast menu right from all sort of seafood in salad to starters to main course. Restaurant is very accommodative and staff are knowledgeable with their offerings. Desserts have added the value to the whole menu from shahi tukda, some fudge with almonds, gajar halwa, chocolate pastry and many more stuff to select.
One must visit this place if you want a mix menu under one roof.
Quality and quantity perfect with price.
Lived it.
We stayed at the hotel with complimentary breakfast . The South Indian dishes were especially outstanding, though the bakery items croissants etc needs some improvement. Service is nice, good ambience. Good variety of breakfast. I really liked the lyonnaised styled potatoes ( imahe attached) for it's awesome and different flavor. The idlis ,vads and coconut chutney is remarkable.
I had their "extended" dinner buffet. Extended means "eat and drink as much as you like". There's a large buffet, nicely presented, with sallads, soup with nice bread and a big choice of Indian dishes. Some spicy - some less so. The house red wine was a good choice. And do save some room for the delicious desserts.
The service was quick and perfect.
1200 with tax. Highly recommended.
Omg, i can go on n on about this restaurant, it's my favourite. Located at the lobby level of Fidalgo, Chilli & Spice has a nice buffet lunch with a variety of dishes on their menu to excite you every time! They have 2 soups ( veg / non-veg) and 4 salads and so many options to make your own salad with the sauces of your choice. They also have a live counter and so many starters and main course options- chicken/fish/mutton/veg. The desserts here are sooo yummy that you won't be able to decide where to begin! if you're in Panjim this is a must visit! starts at 1 pm..
must visit!!
Perhaps the best thing about this restaurant is their early-opening breakfast buffet. We had an early flight in, and this was ideal for us.
The space inside is generic-nice-hotel in decor; if a little small. The staff were very polite and helpful indeed.
For a buffet, the variety was slightly on the small side perhaps, but there is enough here for almost anyone to be able to have a large breakfast.
The corn idli and cabbage vada were different and stood out from the rest. Everything else was the sort of stuff you regularly find at breakfast buffets at most large hotels.
Pricing was reasonable given the fact that at this hour there wasn't a lot of choice, and this does appear to be a pretty nice hotel.
Overall Conclusion: Ideal for someone coming in early and looking for a reasonably priced breakfast buffet.
Was here for breakfast. The buffet was elaborate and had many options right from south Indian(dosas) to North Indian (poori baji) and pancakes and waffles, eggs to order, fruits, english breakfast options and fresh juices, It was a total value for money and a good place to stop by for breakfast.
Superb service and the food was fabulous...would love to visit again...................................,😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
We tried the breakfast buffet at Chilli N Spice. There was a lavish spread with a number of live counters. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the service was quick. I started with the veg kheema which was really very good and the pão was fresh. The only non vegetarian dish on the menu was chicken cocktail sausages. I would prefer having some more options like cold cuts or bacon. There was a huge variety of egg options, dosas and paratas. The south Indian delicacies on offer were Mysore bondas, idli, sambhar and two varieties of chutney's. All of which were super delicious. Never thought I would get such tasty southern foods in Goa. The best part was the cheese omelette which was made to perfection. The drinks on offer were a vanilla milk shake, mango lassi, mixed fruit juice, watermelon juice and a cucumber juice. I tried the coffee and it was just the way I like it. There were a variety of cereals also on offer which made the entire breakfast experience complete.
The only downer for me were the pastries which were not fresh although they looked very appetizing and the waffles were just too dry.
I would definitely recommend the breakfast buffet at Chilli N Spice. Its totally worth every penny spent of the ₹399+taxes for this sumptuous spread.
We decided to try the breakfast buffet this Sunday and I left 2 hours later very satisfied.
At ₹399 per head without taxes, this breakfast is total value for money.
Counters with delicious Indian and Continental breakfast options welcome you, and there are also live stations for waffles, pancakes and eggs and also a live Indian station for a variety of Dosas and Uttapams.
There were three types fresh juices with lassi and a milkshake.
There was another counter with a variety of crossiants and danish pastries. A fairly decent display of cereals and fresh fruit accompanied it.
The only disappointing part was that the pastries were stale which I'm willing to forgive because of the brilliance of everything else and the wonderfully courteous staff.
Thank you Mr. Gupta for wonderful arrangement and complimentary cake. The food was amazing and the service too. Loved to come back here again.
On the day of Navami I got the chance to savour myself and one of my friend to bengali food. We had ordered mochar chop, fish kabiraji, radhaballavi, dhokar dalna and baked rasogolla. Mochar chop was fully stuffed with cashew and raisin and too tasty. One of the fish in kabiraji was a bit undercooked and it was immediately replaced by them. The radhaballavi and dhokar dalna was something to dig in for sure. And baked rasogolla was just awesome. Totally good experience.
Went there for the Bengali food festival... authentic food, courteous staff, fair on the pocket and good service. Overall a nice place to go to.
This is the in house restaurant of the famed Hotel Fidalgo. The visit can be summarised as follows -
The good -
i. Extremely courteous and professional staff. Hotel Fidalgo is famous for its hospitality and the restaurant staff are not exception to this. Full marks to the manager and his team.
ii. Ambience - It is as good as can be, you can have a hearty chat & enjoy your food too, the music is not hard on the senses.
iii. Food - I was really not expecting much in this segment, but I was happily surprised when the food was served. The chicken fajita has been the best I have had. Pita bread and hummus was good too. But the main course was something that deserves a special note. Chicken hakka noodles was awesome. Any noodle lover visiting Goa, must give this place a try.
The bad -
Nothing much, but for the sake of nitpicking I must admit that the service was slow. And the food price was on the higher side. But then again, given the location and varieties, the cost might be justified.
Overall - I would definitely love to pay another visit, for the chicken fajita and hakka noodles.
Speechlesss .. We had dined here for two days . One time Veg nd one time nonveg . Veg was quite perfect . And the nonveg one was quite amazing.
The all meats were perfectly cooked . Especially the prawns amazing ... The juiciest ever .. perfectly sized nd flavoured . Love with those prawns
Nice ambience. Quick service. Polite staff. Tried the veg fortune pot rice and caeser salad. Both were served well; quality and quantity wise. Huge variety of continental and pan asian dishes on the menu.
The food was very tasty and overall atmosphere was good!! Mr. Rinku and Mr. Anirvan Gupta gave us a good service! The rate is also good! I wont give 5 stars because some things need to be improved and to be taken care of!
It was an excellent experience.Great food especially the Elaichi Raan was outstanding, service people are well trained and very polite. We will come again.
Excellent food with extensive choice of buffet spread. This was my 2nd visit within a week. Since I celebrated my birthday there I got discount as well as was complemented with a cake. I am pleased with their service. If you are looking for buffet spread with delicacy you can please try there. They have buffet lunch and dinner every day.
1) Situation: *** : Good situated.
2) Toilets: ***** : A must of cleanness.
3) Ambiance: **** : Fresh, quiet, no noise.
4) Table: *** : Good presentation.
5) Food: *** : I took buffet : Average taste, buffet is too much Indian style spicy, no continental food.
6) Staff: **** : Very polite, quiet and very good service. Thanks.
7) Bill: *** : A bit expansive regarding quality.
Went for a late night dinner. food was good. tandoori pomfret particularly. king fish as well. few friends had veg food which came out well as well. desserts were average though. ambience and service were gud. can be tried.
Multi-cuisine restaurant. The Service is Good the Ambience Is Great. For the starters we ordered pahadi chicken kebab, chicken lasooni. They both tasted very good. Not very pricey. A must visit when in Goa.

Sudden night out and a midnight dinner wd my cousin in Panjim. First the service fantastic second pocket Friendly thirdly the food quality is superb ..just a thumbsdown is quantity...the taste superb made it a great place for dine out wd family, friends and special one.. recommended
After the renovations, most of the restaurants at Fidalgo have totally transformed, though I really liked the older ones better. Earlier, they each had a sort of unique theme but today they all basically look the exact same although they do occupy a much larger number of people now.
However, the quality of food hasn't changed much, it's just as good as always.
The Chili N Spice menu ranges from continental to oriental to Indian fare. Haven't eaten a lot there recently but from past experiences and from what I've heard almost everything on the menu is delicious.
Popped in one evening because we were really craving their Crispy Threaded Paneer (super crispy on the outside, soft cottage cheese on the inside; ask for Szechwan dipping sauce) and found another treasure: Cripsy Mushroom in Kung Pao Sauce! It tasted fantastic and all the more better if you're Really hungry like we were. Washed it down with a chocolate milkshake (average)
Have come to goa recently.. Was looking for a decent place which serves good food and yes fidalgo it is! The food was amazing anything u order here it tastes heavenly, anyone visiting goa must visit this place once. its menu ranges from continental to North indian to goan... So you have variety of options and each of them will be beyond your expectations. Hence keep it on your must try list.
Chilli N' Spice is a Multi-cuisine restaurant that serves some real good Dishes and They are very Tasty Indeed...The Renovated Place looks slightly Bland... but if you've visited the old restaurant at the Hotel Fidalgo, which is located in The heart of the Panjim city... you will know what I'm talking about...
The Service is Good, The Ambience Is Great...All in All, It is Definitely a Place you must visit on the Weekend if you're in the city...
This is me anant sonan from ponda and I am fidalgo elite member.. Firstly like to thank fidalgo staff n management people who gave me the b part of this hotel for yr 2016. About food it's nice and best place to dine here any time. About buffets slightly disappointed for food it's looks like hot n warm but not so.. when last time i visted soup served for us looks hot by steams but it's was not so.. food very nice no complaints about it. Anything looks not good to u it's immediately changed that was nice.. regarding improvement required is quantity and quality of food should b maintained forever.. i will b soon b visiting again..happy to see new opening in Maharashtra thats in pune n upcoming in Nagpur..
Went here for the Lasagna Only. Ordered a Lasagna with meat ragout and bechamel sauce. First off, ambience and service are great. It is right in the heart of the city(Panaji).
Coming to the Lasagna, wanted to go to Thalassar but was closed. So tried this place out. The Lasagna was soft and delicious, al danté. The sauce used was really good. All in all, a great place.
Great place & service. Rinku has been polite & service oriented. Great place to spend quality time with Family. Need to have complimentary soft drink for ladies.

Goa isn't just about beach and party it's also about sumptuous and glorious food .Adventurous eaters can find ample of places to keep them satisfied and one of the most popular and holiday hotel Fidalgo has one of the best buffet around particularly when it rolls out it gourmet menu ...I went to one of their speciality restaurant Chilli & Spice for lunch buffet (1200 per pax prices may differ) restaurant also have ala cart menu ..Lunch buffet have good variety to choose from it had a salad bar amazing salads ,a noodle bar and Italian bar serving staple Italian recipe my fav pick pasta cooked in spanich ,I was elated to see North Indian( lentils) &Mughali cusine(non- veg) as you get giddy after eating too much of sea food to my surprise lentil were cooked with utmost attention and tasted extremely good ,Mutton recipe and biryani to my surprise was mouth watering...The real surprise comes after the main course when u are ready to plow into dessert Overall the experience was great...
Food good but we wait to long.
Ciao
This place is located, right in the centre of the capital of Goa. The place was at first beside the bhojan restaurant and now it is shifted near the entrance of the Fidalgo hotel. Initially it used to serve continental and Chinese cuisine but now in addition to the abovementioned cuisine, they also serve North Indian and Mughlai cuisine. I have been to this place many a times, although my previous experiences were just ok, but with the addition of the two new cuisines, my dining experience has been really good over here. My favourites over here is generally their Mughlai food like pahadi chicken, lasooni chicken and chicken patiala. The ambience looks decent and so is its service. The pricing of the dish is quite economical. Also I would surely visit this place again for my favourites and anyother additions to their Mughlai dishes.

The restaurants here at Fidalgo are all renovated now. Chilli and spice is a multi cuisine restaurant. They have an option of A la Carte as well as a buffet. I've always liked the food here especially their kebabs and kulchas. We ordered the tomato sorba in soup. It was delicious, mildly spiced and tangy. For the starters we ordered pahadi chicken kebab, chicken lasooni and veg crispy. They all tasted very good. In the main course I loved the chicken patiala. This dish is a must try here. We also ordered a few stuffed kulchas and parathas which were very delicious. This place offers prompt service and excellent food. Not very pricey. A must visit when in Goa.
The food here is delicious. But that's about 'eat' :p
The ambiance is not bad, but the lousy music they play here really ruined the experience. It's a bit pricey, not to mention the taxes.
Fidalgo situated in one of the prime locations in panjim. Among the restaurants that are located within the premises. I love this restaurant because of its ambience and the way it looks. Food wise, the taste is amazing even though the prices are little high. Overall it's a nice place to spend time with your loved ones
This place is quite confused over its identity, but the food is nice. At some point it's South Asian and then the menu has TAPAS (Spanish), PANINIS with barbecued pulled pork; SANWHICHES like grilled Quesadilla and PASTAS. All of this is digestible, but loud dance music is too much!
Great food and great ambience !! I was bit unhappy with the service, staffs were busy with themselves , had to ask repeatedly for one thing !! But it was worth waiting because the food was yummy !! Should visit for yummy food ;)
Chilli and spice in fidalgo,
Nice place to hangout.
There chicken lasuni is too good.
Dint like the naan (bread) but love the sizzling brownie with icecream.
We go to this place quiet often mainly to try their southasian cuisine which is pretty decent. This time we went for thr buffet which is not a bad option if you are hungry and need food quickly :).They had 4 types of salads, 4 types of starters including a mawa kabab which I loved and a variety of Indian and Chinese main courses. Though the taste was not spectacular, it was filling and worth the money. The desserts too were good and included icecreams, kheer, carrot halwa, rum balls, and a tasty rice pudding. Overall a good experience.
One of the best Continental, Asian Cuisine Restaurant in Panaji . Great quality n taste
. Very nice ambience .Prices are reasonable. Buffet is also available
Was looking fwd to ordering cheese platter, not available. Then I found cannelloni., ordered.. after about ten minutes they came back and said not available. When I looked miffed the waiter volunteered to make me something off an older menu, with sliced grilled paneer and parsley butter rice. It was great. Very good experience. Only negatives: too loud dancefloor music (in a fine restaurant? Strange ) and their bottled water is a Crazy 80rs. All the taxes piled on top added a literal 150 to an otherwise very reasonably priced meal. Anyway thanks for having such good food so late-- it's now one a m and they're going strong here.
Superb food. The best part is that the meal is available anytime during the day. Nice atmosphere and options available in terms of cuisines. Chinese is specially good.
Tried the buffet here. They have a good spread, but the starters have a poor attendance on their buffet menu.Main course delicasies are really good, so are the desserts.
Their evening performer Meera always sings my favourite song country roads everytime iam there and this is one more good factor for me..staff is extremely attentive and fast.
Good food, Good beverages, Good ambience, Good service, Excellent location.
The live music is worth listening to while you enjoy your F&B😄
Great quality n taste
Ambience is okay types but in league of fine dining
Tried chicken cream soup with walnut
Chicken tikka masala n rotis
Nice taste, normal serving time and good seating
They got a bar in the same restaurant and i visited at noon and saw they had buffet as well on offer
Prices are reasonable, for these 2 items i paid 750 bucks
Visited this place coz there aren't a lot of options post that we could find post midnight on a Sunday in Panaji. The ambience was pretty good and the service prompt. Loved the Chicken stake, kebabs, etc. The cost however is on a higher side considering the restaurant is an extension of a pretty fancy hotel. Place is worth a try if you are in Panaji.
I have had breakfast here about a few times. Although the first time I visited tgis restaurant, the breakfast was amazing ... But over the years, the variety has become less.
However, while you are staying at hotel fidalgo, the breakfast is something you wouldnt want to miss.
The dinner is good as well. The service is also good. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud. We relished the ice cream pakoda and other deserts there. And the appetizees dont fail to amaze. #NonvegetarianDelight

Very good place to feel like king.Hotel fidalgo provides complementary breakfast in this hotel. Many items were included in their menu ,Number of fruit juices, fruits, sprouts, variety of south Indian snacks, buns, chicken sausages, cakes, sweets like gajar halawa, kaju katali.I like their one thing that their is one chef who was cooking egg, chiken omelet in front of us,so you can tell him anything to add as per your wish.I will surely recommend this place.
We were a group of five(a family), and we took the dinner buffet.. Very courteous staff and a nice live music being sung by Ms. Mira. Foodwise, the veg starters were good and crispy. Felt fresh. The main course items were limited and dal had a bland taste to it but it was eatable. Chinese items were amazing(a curry and noodles). Desserts were good except for the cakes which didn't taste that fresh. Desserts are less sweet as well which is perfect for a good meal.
