Must visit Tato's whenever you are in Goa. Best place for dinner. Must try their fish thali. Pocket friendly place. Dining is bit cosy but comfortable. Unique options in food. Overall good place.
Been visiting to tatos since years and they never fail to amaze me with their dishes. This time tried their vegetarian starters and to all the paneer lovers , this beautiful presented art on the plate is Paneer Gulzaar ! So it's basically paneer stuffed with some fine cut veggies like carrots, cabbage with some mayo which is stuffed in the paneer ! The paneer was really fresh and soft like it just melted in the mouth ! It is garnished with some fresh cheese and coriander and is served with onion rings ! A big thumbs up to this starter and highly recommended to go for this starter ! Try out their others delicacies as well. You won't be dissapointed.
Delicious food.Mouth melting fish and chicken kebabs.Tastiest food.
Good quality food and teast is very nice
Good service well clean
We are starterd prawns rava fry and king fish masala fry this are too good
Main course
Murgh lajawab and butter roti is nice
Nice experience tank u all
A typo Goan/coastal restaurant gives a proper fine dining experience. Do try puri bhaji & vada pav.. worth the price #Goan #breakfast
Went there with my friends, loved the food. Try their pomfret tandoori, squids masala fry. Chicken laajawab was delicious too.
The ambience and service is very good too.
Really amazing food, right from the starters to main course everything was delicious, their kebabs are a must try, soft juicy and succulent, they never disappoint. Overall great experience.
Tasty Goan food. Was disappointed not to get Fish thali as they do not serve it on Sunday. Service was good. Tried the masala baby chonak which was very tasty but expensive. Worth giving it a try. #GoanFood
Located on the ground floor of the building, this place is extremely good. Tried the cutlet and samosa. Both the items were served with green chutney and tomoto sauce. The cutlet was perfectly cooked, with potatoes, carrots and other veggies. The samosa contained more of all vegetables and can be improved. Also tried the masala dosa which was not exactly up to the mark. Had some lime soda for a drink, which was cold and perfect. The ambience is calm and nice. The service is fast and good.
Visited in January with my friend. Location of restaurant is near passport office, walking distance from ktc bus stand. They having different floors for vegetarians and non vegetarian food that is plus point.
We dine in non vegetarian section which is on 1st floor. This Restaurant famous for fresh seafood, we ordered for masala muscles with peri peri sauce, I'll recommend you to try Rawa fry muscle. They also have fish curry thali which comes in big thali with all authentic Goan preparation.
In seafood they offer tandoori pomfret which was awesome and worth of money. Size of pomfret was big and fresh. Overall experience was good, must visit if you're seafood lover. Price is reasonable with friendly staff👍
Fine Dining - Tato's Style
The name "Tato's" has been on every Goans mind since it began to serve the famous Puri Bhaji at the original café. Off late they have pulled off this new venture of fine dining concept restaurants. And I must say they have excelled in that.
The restaurant is located away from the hustle of the city at a peaceful business complex at Patto just above the Cafe Tato. You get a nice warm and formal aura from the ambience inside. They have a comfortable seating, not too clustered. The staff is polite, courteous and well groomed. The bar has all the regular options with friendly price tags. The food be it from the Chinese, Mughlai or even the local Goan menu is made to perfection.
My lucky food charms were the Goan Fish Curry Rice plates in the afternoons, sometimes coupled with the freshly prepared Rawa Fried Fish, to the Tikka Kababs and Chicken Biryani at nights. Well, they serve them all with style and flavour. The sweet option I found fascinating was the famous pudding called the Creme Caramel, which brought great sweetness and satisfaction at the end.
Recommend a visit to this place once to experience a pocket friendly fine dining.
Great food at affordable price. Everything on their menu is delicious. Personally I love their mix veg bhaji. Place is little congested but seating arrangement is good you don't feel trapped. Overall a good experience.
Travelling all the way from north goa to south goa, we couldn’t resist on our hungry stomach and we bumped into this place.
To start with we did go for drinks
(1) A pint of kingfisher beer
(2) 4 redbull
While for lunch we ordered
(1) Prawns fried rice : It was delicious and absolutely yum
(2) Prawns with honey chilly : prawns were big enough in size and was nicely made, the mouth smacking prawns made us order for the second time
This made our hungry stomach a happy stomach
Last to end up with dessert
We ordered the famous dessert of goa with ice-cream, it was served warm with chilled ice cream called bebinca with ice cream
Well, all I can say is it was a “satisfying” meal
Good for a quick bite if you are in Patto area. I like their bhaji pao and tea snacks, but veg Thali isn't upto the mark these days. Most dishes were pale and did not taste scrumptious. Vegetable gravies were tasting sweetish. Curd wasn't well fermented.
But would recommend for a cup of tea and some snacks. Service is great too.

Friendly staff and food, oh yes... amazing!!I had taken my parents here for their wedding anniversary. I wanted to surprise them so had asked the staff if they could arrange a cake. To my surprise, not only did they get a cake but also a big bouquet of flower. Their "Cheese Garlic Naan" and "Butter Chicken" is a must try according to me.
For Drinks, we tried this mocktail named "Slanter's Punch" which was yummmm. I seriously still cannot forget the taste. The quantity was a lot, so my suggestion is that if anyone is ordering this, please make it 1/2 or something coz finishing it alone was a challenge for me.
Okay, so why am I cutting 0.5 is coz of the crushed ice in the drink. Try adding it less.
Other than that... Bingo! I am for sure visiting again.
Prawn rawa fry is a must try! Yumm! We also ordered the dal fry and steam rice, which was good too. Fine ambience, good food and quick service.
This is my first review outside my State of residence and to say that it is for Veg food that too in Goa is quite something.
Your experience at any food place depends totally on your current state. How much are you craving for food. What are you expecting from the place and more such things.
So coming back to Tato’s this is a decent enough place. Extension of its original version which is just a cafe, this one is a Fine Dine. Serves Veg and Non Veg food. We ordered Veg.
Paneer Masala, Veg Kolhapuri, Cheese Garlic Naan, Veg Biryani. Out of these Paneer Masala and Cheese Garlic Naan were too good.

Good place to visit with your family for a nice dinner.
Best place to have food....very good service n d most important thing is dat once u order u get served within 10 mins....food is very tasty specially chickn satay, Hong Kong chicken n squids masala fry.......
Went here for a late lunch assuming the place would not be very crowded... but it was still packed... got a table after a short wait.... the place has a special menu only for fish 😍 that was the only menu I ordered from and it was worth it.
The food was amazing with an authentic Goan flavor.
This is one neat and clean place in vasco.
You can fine some good goan food and I personally prefer thali meal which has good flavour food.
This time I also tried Hot and Sour Soup which was perfect to taste with perfect thickness and taste.
I recommend this place for lunch and dinner as one of the good food place in Vasco.
The first thing that I think when it comes to tato is their batata Bhaji and Pao also their samosa. These two are just beyond delicious. They also have a smaller outlet in panjim near the panjim church which I guess is the first to many of their outlets.
Best is Chicken Tandoori, Murg Angara and Roti ki Tokri. I have been eating this for the last 6 years and the taste is fantastic. Chicken Tandoori is one of the best till date . I have stayed in many cities like Delhi , Kolkata and Bangalore but this one beats all. Murg Angara you will not find in the menu. Have to ask for it. That's equally yummy. Chinese is not very great.
The butter chicken is unexpectedly good. If you are northerner and crave for butter chicken head there right now. Naans were good. They offering free caramel pudding on facebook checkin.
One of the best restaurants in panjim serving the best quality food & wide variety of delicious dishes...Must try if u are around the capital city Panjim..!!
The Goan Fish curry rice is undoubtedly value for money. 4 types of fish in a single diet made in Goan style. Made my day. However be cautious while choosing he Ines whose price is as per size. What we were told ₹800 was charged ₹1300 when the bill came. Must go place.
Tato's in Patto centre has a veg restaurant which is very easy to find and then there's the non veg restaurant in the same building on the first floor. I went to the non veg one. This place is like any other crowded restaurant and ambience is just fine. Did not get my server's name but he was very sweet. I ordered tandoori Prawns and kingfish curry with steamed rice. Both were good but not exceptional. So it's a 'can do place' not a 'must do!'
I have been a frequent visitor to this place since 3-4 years now. The ambience is nice and chic. The food quality has remained consistent and the prices are well with your budget. The service is quick and the waiters always help you incase u get stuck with different options. Overall a decent place.
If you ever want to try authentic goan breakfast.head to this place or better to the small main outlet in panjim near garden.
The local delicacy called as patal bhaji and pav or you can have it with other bread variant goa produces.like unde, poli...the recipe has been lost in state with tourism and commercial food. Thanks to few places like tato it's still retained.
Do try their halsane / mushroom bhaji or patal and sukhibhaji which is teamed with some semi dry potato .don't forget to add other goenkar fav mirchi bhaji
Wash it down with some limbu soda.
My Goa Travel Diary-
Incredible Goan Cuisine over here. Love ❤️ to stop my here and grab a cozy lunch or dinner.
Very welcoming environment and good service.
For non vegetarians *GOAN FISH THALI* is a much try.
Apart from that they do serve few North Indian and Chinese cuisine. But it's the place to try authentic Goan food 🥘

It was an absolute pleasure dining at Tatos... Tatos is a chain famous for its Veg Goan brkfst so many don't know of the Non veg Fine Dine restaurant but do try bcoz the food is absolutely delicious. The seafood manchow soup was full of flavour. The chicken Satay with that gorgeous peanut sauce and the Pesto chicken kebab was very succulent and a pleasure to the tastebuds. Cheese garlic naan was well stuffed and rich. 1 improvement to suggest the management is to have mayo sauce with batter fry squids instead of chutney/ schezwan sauce served along which is not the right combination. I visited the place again and happened to give this fdbk to the owner. He was kind enough to accept the fdbk and get me some mayo sauce. Overall I highly recommend a visit.
Absolutely delicious kebabs. Kebab Paprika and Paneer Gulzara is the bomb. Veg platter is a must try. Service is great. Met the owners, wonderful people and genuinely care for the guests.
This is on the way when you are heading towards panji. It looks like a small place from the outside but it's quite big. The ambience is OK. The service is OK.
The food is brilliant. Must try
Sweet buns.
Rawa Masala Dosa.
Coffee.
Its a nice place close to busstand. The ambience and decorations are good. The food was tasty both tasty and quantity was very generous and reasonably priced too. The service was good too. The place where we got to sit the seating was little uncomfortable though.Samiksha Mardolkar
I've visited this place only once as there was no place to sit downstairs at Cafe Tato's. It was relatively empty. The veg menu is pretty different from the menu at Cafe Tato's apart from the fact being that they serve non-veg too. We had ordered the chef's special curry and starter which was very good. The overall ambiance and service was nice and was upto the mark for a fine dine restaurant.
Simple and nothing over the top. Caters to multiple cuisines but of course no special feel much. I enjoy the breakfast menu especially Indian cause you can never really go wrong with a hot cup of chai and a dosa. Adequate seating arrangements. Due to location caters to many hungry students and working adults.
Simple place if your looking to meet up with friends or for a business meetings. They are fully veg so if your looking for something other then that then you're at the wrong place. Well price wise it's good but the quantity is not sufficient unless you're looking for a quick bite. Overall it's a good place to be.
Even though the Non veg restaurant is a bit small compared to the veg one, the good here is not that bad. Chicken fried is something i went for and fried king fish. Both were pretty decent dishes. A good restaurant.
We visited this restaurant, 3 days ago..absolutely amazing experience. To come to goa n try out some of the best sea food delicacies is fortunate.we tried almost all the sea food available from butter garlic prawns, tandoori fish, mussels, squids, chicken satay.. Best place to try sea food in panjim.
After spending hours in the sun and the beaches we were looking to spend sometime indoors and sit back and pamper ourselves. And Tato's happened to be the final checkpoint in our Goa Trip. It was a chicken overload for as we tried Stuffed Pappads and Chicken Platter.
The stuffed pappads had chicken gently minced and stuffed in them. Giving a fine balance of crunchy and supple chicken for all those chicken lovers out there. Tried the Malai Kebab also which was pretty nice as well. The seating and ambiance is good with the service being one of the best I have seen in Panaji.
Although, we came with plenty of backpacks and luggage, the staff were helpful in keeping them safe, which I remember as a big positive; especially for a fine dine restaurant.
A very convenient option one can consider... Food is above average and so is the ambiance... Chicken manchow soup is exceptionally good... Golden fried squids are crisp but apparently they serve it with the schezwan sauce and not the tarter sauce... Chicken satay is mediocre...
Pros: Ample of parking space
Decent food and ambiance
Cons: No any con as such but I didn't find anything exceptional.
Situated at Patto (EDC complex) the commercial hub of Panaji, is a spacious veg and non veg restaurant. The veg section is downstairs while the non veg section is made into a fine dine experience with cozy sofas and comfortable chairs.
Now the food part. usually we come here for lunch as our office like many others is nearby. They are famous for their non veg thali which is priced around Rs 150 + Tax usually consist of kingfish (served two if the pieces are small), which is properly fried and have variety of things to eat. service is ok compared to the crowd they handle on daily basis.
Ratings - Service - 3.5/5 Food 4/5 Ambiance - 5/5
We found this place when we wanted a place to spend our waiting time in Panjim. And this place with its "fine dining" label wasn't exactly the place I would go with all my backpack and traveller attire. But guess the label is just because the owner took a fancy to it.
This place serves as a snack and Chai place for many with office space and coaching institutes around it. We ordered two Adrak Chai, onion pakoras and samosas. The samosas had very tasty vegetable filling and the pakoras were alright.
To buy more time we ordered a Nimbu Paani and a Chocolate Milkshake next. And they were done well.
The service was courteous. A fancy name for a simple place. The prices were reasonable.
This Rst of the Tatos chain serves non veg. Their Goan fish curry rice was good, a tad bit spicy. The Jhinga masala was yuuuummm but again, spicy. The naans and rotis are very good. Rava fried prawns are tasty but wid d heads on.
Tatos is a legendary Goan food outlet to the localities
I was here as my friend suggested me to visit this place as I wanted to Taste the authentic mix veg Pav of Goa
The place was crowded as I visited this place nevertheless I managed to find a table for myself .
Loved the mix veg Bhaaji n Pav. I only felt the paav should have been softer than they appeared to be on that particular day .
In addition to these pictures I did try the buns which was yummy and super soft .
Ambience isn't all that great if your expecting something lavish, but it's a small neat place for quick bites .
The service was really good. We hVe Roopesh who attended us who made our visit to Tatos even memorable one 😀
Located in the commercial zone of Panjim, this is a favourite amongst office goers. The prawns butter garlic is really amazing, one of the best I've eaten and served with noodles instead of the normal salad. The kababs are delicious too!
Lovely Goan Food. 150 Rs for a Goan Thaali. Total value for money! This seems to be like the place for lunch, mostly office goers and people on holiday (like I was :)
Must try in Panjim!
Authentic goan food at affordable price..loved the ambience also..very gud service and the food is really very good..loved the way the prawns kismoor was..the pomfret rava fry was very nice..the fish curry thali had the home feel in it..a must visit place..
A major reason for visiting this place was the fact that it is situated at Patto and getting parking won't be an issue here. We ordered a Corn starter which was quite tasty but a tad overpriced, secondly we had Goan Fish Curry Rice which was quite tasty and reasonably priced. The Riceplate included a fresh pomphret fried, and tasty side dishes, however I wouldn't be able to have that rice plate everyday as I found it very heavy. Thus, it is a good place to be if you are looking for a change, however there are much better places in panaji if you are one time visitor looking for awesome seafood
Not my 1st time to this restaurant. And not the last time. If you are in the vicinity looking for a nice Goan rice curry meal, choose this place and you will not be disappointed. Not very great interiors, but who cares when you have some tasty food? I always have their Goan Rice Curry Fish meal. For Rs 150 today, I got plain rice, mackerel curry, shark curry, shells curry, kismur (a dried prawns with coconut dish) and fried fish (chonak). Very filling and great tasting. Accompany it with some chilled beer if you like a drink, or perhaps a fresh lime soda. Can't wait till the next time I'm here.
Good place, reasonably priced food. Good place to go with friends or family. Nice ambience. Good food, quite a variety available. Must go place if you wish to try variety of fish.
Downside is other than one or two tables the rest are congested.
Tatos is definitely one of my favorite chains in goa! They're consistent with the quality and taste of food they serve! Their cocktails are to die for! And for food their off the menu prawns biryani is aweesoommeee! Only thing that disappointed me was the waiters don't pay that much attention to you as much is required! ( pretty basic duh!) you often need to call out loud for them! Just this or else a perfect 5! The one in madgaon is also good!
( p.s. The veg food is also good)
Location and Ambience-These are a chain of restaurants and located in multiple places. They have seperate seating sections for veg and non veg.The ambience is good.
Food- Good quality food and affordable prices. You can come here for snacks like mangalore buns, mirji bhajjis and tea. There are also options for breakfast like dosas, Puri bhaji etc..Also you get to eat your goan flavoured fish curry meals. So there are options right from breakfast till dinner.
Overall a budget friendly place and definitely a must visit.

Good food.... Didn't try their seafood though.... Ordered a chicken lababdaar and another chicken dish.... Both were decent and had the Mumbai feel in them....
Try the "buns" here! Its a Goan bread, made like a puri and Goans have it for breakfast along with vegetables made to the local taste! Channa Masala, Aloo Sabji along with pao or buns also works wonders.
Went here in Sep 23. Ambience and lighting good.
We had the squid (stuffed and batter fried) which was really good and tasty.
The chicken noodles were good as well. And the Mutton Biryani was delicious and flavourful ( though the mutton itself was a bit tough).
A decent dining experience.
It has a cozy atmosphere because of the lighting which feels very soothing.
The food here is a 10/10.
Have tried their chonak thali which was amazing and also stuffed squids, kababs and seerdura! Good taste and a must try!
First time in Masak by Tato's, and you have to go! This cozy restaurant has left the best impression.the service we received was also good .
We had ordered chicken tikka (9/10) 🫠
Pomfret thali (8/10)
Praws tali (8/10)
Also tried their mocktails, which were quite impressive🤌
First of all, loved the ambience. Very quiet and chill. Menu was quite nice and affordable. The virgin mojito was one of the best ones I've had so far. The Veg Thali was delicious. Overall, the place is nice. Must visit.
The best chonak thali in town! Visit masak by Tato's for the best and authentic thali in Panjim

Dhingari Dulma
Cheese Garlic Naan
Orange Mohito
Strawberry juice
Service was good. My favourite among the above would be, strawberry juice and vegetable crispy.
Great place for dining.
Masak has been added to Tato's fine dining.
The newly opened fine dining restaurant is located in the heart of Panjim, with a warm and elegant ambience.
Serving delicious Goan food made with fresh seafood as well as other cuisines Additionally, they have introduced meals for one, which includes delectable dishes.
Great service team!😍
One of the latest addition to the fine dining spaces in Panjim is Masak🕊️
Just above the cafe Tato in Patto, this place is ideal for the working folks around to have a quick office lunch.
The ambience is fully A/C with a casual decor & prompt service.
They have a full fledge bar serving some great mixes & food that leaves you completely satisfied.
One thing I loved about @masakgoa is that they have incorporated meal for one menu which makes it very convienient if you intend to eat alone and also avoids wastage.

Do try the chicken cafreal, the butter chicken is really good. And stuffed squids were a surprise, didn't expect them to taste so good.

Update- this biryani gets better everytime I visit. Gets me cravings somedays.
I thought biryani is nothing great, but let's give it a try. Believe me guys it was really an amazing decision just the way the biryani tasted. Such perfect mixed rice and masala. 10/10
There is a person Sharma who is such a generous staff.
Loved the food and the ambience. This is located in Patto plaza area in Gera imperium building.

A must try for Goan authentic seafood and Also vegetarian food.
Good service and ambiance.
Loved the overall vibe
Chonak Fish thali was good 😊👍🏻 the quantity of the rice should have been more in the thali.
They have a fine dining restaurant and a cafe in the same building. The fine dining is on the upper level where you can reach by stairs. I tried prawns fried rice and lemon soda at their fine dining restaurant. At the cafe i tried a bunch of things such as mushroom xacuti bhaji pav, onion masala dosa, cholle poori etc. All dishes were really tasty. The place is clean and hygienic and has a good ambience.
