Tried Goa cuisine in the breakfast. Amazing Pao , mushroom curry and the mirchi Bhajji. Sweet fried bun was quite unique and tasty.
I loved everything about this place. Had breakfast here twice and had the bhaji, buns, the sweet puri, goan samosa, and a couple of desserts. I wish this place was in my city too. So good.
Best local breakfast! The food is delicious. Very clean and efficient staff. A must visit for local breakfast. Would like to try their lunch menu next time we visit.

In the heart of Capital and prefect place for some Goan snack and chai time. My husbands favorite place so whenever we are in Panjim it’s mandatory to have some snacks with tea or coffee at Cafe Bhonsle.
This place has been famous since a long time a d serves yum goan breakfast food!
The mix bhaaji, tomato salad, mushroom bhaaji are all soo good! They are served with goan bread.
The goan samosa is yum too.
The sheera was delicious.
Overall a nice place for quick goan breakfast.
I visit this place quite often especially to have my favorite combo that is filter coffee, bun and tomato bhaji. The goan samosas here are my favorite. Their mushroom samosas are a must try too😍😍. If not anything then you have to try out their bun. One of the best items at cafe bhonsle. The prices are very Reasonable. They also have 2 sittings one is Ac and one is non Ac and obviously the prices vary if you sit in the Ac section
This place is always buzzing with people early morning thanks to their delicious gaon breakfast. They serve a variety of traditional baji's along with Goan bread. Their buns are an absolute WINNER for me.
This is my all time favorite destination for evening snacks and tea. Thank me later, drink the black tea here, tell them to squeeze the lemon in it and get it. That'll be 🔥
Always crowded, so you gotta go in the A/C cabin.
Great legendary place for breakfast and tea. Quick service simple and tasty food. Must try the samosa and the different vegetable with puris.
Recommended by Rocky and Mayur to have local Goan breakfast and snacks. Located in a small lane but not hard to find. For me the food was okay as i had that kind of food for the first time. Its a vegetarian restaurant.
A great place to start off the day with delightful traditional goan breakfast, it's crowded kost of the times but you can squeeze in to find some place for sure, their bhaji's are a special and you can request for a mix and match of the various combinations available, a personal favourite is the potato bhaji, with mushroom bhaji and their perfect bun, the bun is like a soft puri, but made with the dough in combination with bananas and is ever so slightly sweet to taste, its a bliss.
Awsm goan food. We had fish thali. Superb fish fry and prawn curry in the thali. We loved it. Goan prawn curry had a sour flavour which was simply awsm. Butter garlic prawns we're also good, but deep fried. We ordered extra fish as it was yum. Lot of local goan people eating here was a clear indication of authentic food. Excellent service as well. Wud definitely come back.
This place serves one of the best fish thalis in Goa. It's just the right size, can be easily finished by one person and is wholesome! The service is quick and staff is friendly. Waiting period isn't alot. Great for groups and families.
Very famous cafe which has been there since a very long time. We went in the evening so we were able to savour only the snacks and they tasted too good. Samosas & Puri Bhaji are must try. Coffee also was good. Must visit for the pocket friendliness and quick eat cage style

The cafe is nearly a century old ! Who wouldn't want to go to one that is so old. Cafe Bhonsle reminded me of the restaurants down south. I felt really happy looking at the waiters as they kept suggesting us what to order as we had gone there at an odd time and they didn't have the proper dishes. We kept ordering and ordering and we couldn't believe the when we saw the bill. It was very cheap for the amount of dishes we ordered. It's a must visit when in Goa. Ordered puri's with different curries and the Goan samosas and the Punjabi samosas are a must try. Drool worthy Restaurants like this make me happy while writing reviews !
It's a good place to enjoy your pocket friendly meal .u can try out their thali .
It's situated near the famous panjim church .And u will generally find it busy with customers, tourist as well as locals .
A must for fish lover in panjim. If you love to explore local cuisine you should try their fish thali.Respect for their stuff, takes so much pride in explaining the preparation of foods.
Nice and cosy place to enjoy a quick meal in panaji circle. The taste was good and service quick, this is a no frills restaurant which is a bit hard to locate although it's on the main road. Enjoyed my experience!
Breakfast like a Local!!
The joint located near to the Fontainhas is jam packed at Breakfast (mostly with locals) and that states how much favourite this restro is with the Local People.
Food: We tried their Bhanji with Bread (delicious), a Sweet Bread (probably called a bun, but I am sure you had nothing like this...It's a hybrid of a puri and a bread and it is sweet to the correct extent), Mirchi Plate (lovely), Makhan Peda (it's somewhat like what we call "Balusai" here in Eastern India, with slight differences and I have absolutely loved it) and Shira (It keeps its signature touch by adding cloves there). We ended it with Filter coffee (which was also good).
Service: Prompt
Ambiance: It remains packed but manages to remain clean. No Complains.
Pocket Pinch: Cheap.
Suggestion: Must try the "Bun" and "Bhanji with Bread".
Rating: 5/5
The food here is great, yet the staff (at least the guy waiting on us) was a bit incompetent.
The fish thali was really good and cheap, although the portion of rice given is so low that you'll have to order atleast another extra bowl (minimum) at a cost
When it comes to taste though, this is an incredible restaurant to try.
Bit expensive except for the fish thali, but overall worth the money paid.
Tip- best ask for prices on items in the menu without a set price, as it could differ a lot from what you'd expect to pay for based on other places you've tried the same item from
Good place to snack in the evening.
Assortment of bhaji's, paired with bun pav and chai.
Bustling with crowd, a great place for snacks and refreshments.
A great place to enjoy authentic Goan food. I've usually been here for breakfast and I've always gone back to eat it. Try the tomato salad and puri or even puri bhajji with matar. Also have the buns - a very unique preparation of a sweet snack. While I was there, I was suggested to try their famous mirchi pakoda - this was the only item I didn't enjoy eating at all. But others were simply delicious. Don't forget to try it when you are in Panjim next time.
Amazing food, and very good service. One of the best Goan food you will get here in Panji. Staff is very polite. Must visit place for seafood. Little expensive but quality is really very good. Recommend this place.
Excellent breakfast place. Most of the tables seem to be consuming either Puri/bhaji, Mirchi pakoda , or buns.. we tried all of it. Very good stuff. The tomato salad, which is actually a curry was our favorite. There were as many people waiting to enter as there were eating inside.
Oh the fish thali is just as a home cooked meal. The fish is fresh and well cooked with marinades. The accompaniments are just as good. The caramel custard is well done to perfection.
And if you visit the cafe below do try out theGoan tomato salad bhaji with potato bhaji and Goan Pao.
A weekend getaway with friends in Goa, this place was our everyday breakfast stop. I don't think anything could have gotten more authentic, tasty and reasonable than this place!
The bun with red and yellow patal bhaaji, mirch bhajiya, tea and puri. So good that I want to keep going back!
Cafe bhosle is such a place from where you can choose to sit near window see the shimmer of market and eat the best fish thali in peace. Professional service and pallet soothing food .
If you looking to try fish thali near by panjim head to cafe bhosle.
I am in love with this place.
They have versatile menu to soothe all type of your hunger. No matter if you are looking for north indian feast or you are just have craving for meat or sea food. They got your back with a decent ambience with making on your pocket.
Biryani 7/10
Sea food 8/10
North indian gravies 8/10
Starters 7/10
Veg cuisines 7/10
Enjoy your meal with chilled with or accompany with tangy mojito.
This place is really close to the Church of Our lady of Immaculate Conception and if you're looking for a place to enjoy a variety of cuisines this place has it all. Italian,Continental, Indian, they have all cuisines and amazing variety and delicious dishes in all categories.
The staff here was really courteous and super helpful with choosing dishes, patiently explaining us what every dish has and also personall recommeding dishes that would be perfect for our taste.
My suggestion: tell them what flavours you are looking for and let them be the judge(unless ur very picky)
I was craving some indian masala chicken and was also wanted to experiment with some Goan food.
If you want something goan without cocunut definitely try the chicken vindalo. The taste is really tangy chatpata so and not spicy at all.
in order to complitment such a tangy dish definitely order something spicy and chilly.
The waiter suggested thw Chicken Tikka Masala which is also a recommendation on zomato and was really
wrestling
Overall great place, good ambience, excellent quick service and delicious food.No complaints and a must try from me
Fantastic place to have typical goan breakfast like bhaji pao and bhajji. Look no further.
It's a nostalgia to come here after long time of 19 years. The inside and everything is changed.. But the food still remains the same.
Bhaji pao undoubtedly. Coming to goa and not eaten goan bhaji pao for breakfast is sad. You need to try the bhaji pao here. It's spot on on taste and how it should be. Taste is perfect. The Goan pao was fresh and no stale crumbles to see.
Accompany the goan bhaji pao with hot Mirchi bhajji and wash it all down with hot tea. The bhajji was hot and fresh and Crispy.
Service is prompt and pocket friendly. Those tourists visiting Goa- an advice-please spare bread butter jam or omlet or idli dosa of 200-400 rupees for your home and try this goan bhaji pao a typical breakfast in Goa for 30 rupees. You won't be disappointed and you won't get the taste elsewhere. But be sure to try bhaji pao in places which make them the way they should be like this Cafe.
Definitely recommended.
The moment you reach here u will think where are you going but the food here is delicious.
AC section is good. Service was good n quick. Onion bhaji , batata vada n samosas were brilliant. The best was tea, it was so good that we had 2 cups back to back.
Must visit to have snacks n tea
This cafe has the old world charm that Panaji effuses. It is a welcome abberation from the noisy, live music sort of cafes located in every corner of the state. Cafe Bhonsle is a peaceful place to have your breakfast and evening snacks. Delicious items like Vada pav, pohe,Kanda bhajji, south Indian items, samosas along with beverages like tea, coffee, juices and shakes will help you leave this place with a fuller belly and a smile. A stroll down the promenade after your bite will be the cherry on the cake. Huge crowd and waiting is inescapable when you visit during morning or evening hours. Amidst all the chaos, there will be multiple stories discussed on each table. There is a sense of calm and no urgency, when you visit this place. My ratings go as follows:
Taste - 4/5
Ambiance-3.5/5
Service-3.5/5
Value for money-4.5/5
Overall, do try this place out.
Lot of localities were talking about this place when I reached Goa. When in Goa if people talk about anything else than booze and partying please head straight away for that..😂 This is a classic place to have nashta and boy how crowded it was..😁 We didn't get a place to sit for quiet some time but then it was worth it..😂
I tried Pav Bhaji, Mirchi bhaji, Samosa and tea..😋 Pav bhaji of this place is something different. Samosa was something I liked the most..😍
A good place overall..😁
Cafe Bhonsle is one of the few restaurants in Goa where you can taste authentic Goan food. On my last visit I had grilled pompfret and it was very well marinated with even cuts and good portion size. Their mussels are also very good.
On my vacation we visited this place. It is located in the market. Simple interiors and humble staff made me try their food. Service is quick and food is lip smacking. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend the travellers to try this place and sit next to window area. Thumbs up!
One of the best dining experiences in Goa, this place is right around the Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church in the main Panjim market.
The lower floor houses the cafe which serves more of snacks and most importantly only vegetarian fare. This one serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian food.
We started with a round of drinks and starters, each one of which was finger licking good. The Tandoori Chicken was flavorful and juicy. For vegetarian starters the Golden Fried Crispy Corn stood out and the Hara Bhara kebab was again flavorful.
The kadhai paneer had an excellent gravy.
Loved the dining area by the window where we sat with the view of the rains. And the place is highly recommended for it's delicious food which is worth your buck.
Bhosle's makes a really good (almost close to authentic) fish thali. Though it is priced slightly higher than a fish thali that you would get at a local eatery in Goa, it is really tasty though. The fish is prepared perfectly and the umon, sukhe and kokum Kodi is just right. The sevice is good and the restaurant is very hygienic.
Finger licking food. Must try is the fish thali and chicken vandaloo. You will take time to recover from the awesome food you will have. One of the oldest restaurants in Panjim and the hospitality is good too.
A must try restaurant in Panjim, Cafe Bhonsle serves local food. It’s economical and their Thalis are a must try. So if you are looking for Konkani flavour in Goa just go for it. We had Thalis for lunch ... I tried a veg Thali which was also amazing. Fried fish was to die for.
The north Indian food here is pretty good. I've had perfect paranthas, butter chicken and naans here. Batter fried calamary is good too. Haven't tried the rest of the Goan food here so can't comment. DONT forget to order the SERRADURA, they are awesome
This place is famous for its breakfast and snacks items rather than lunch. But I believe the localities will love their taste more than the tourists.
Sukhi bhaji, mushroom bhaji, patal bhaji, halsane, or mix of any of the two bhaji (normally sukhi bhaji + any of the other) with undo or pav is famous. If you are a fan of Puri you can order even that.
Sukhi bhaji is non spicy potato bhaji and halsane is a sister of rajma.
Goan samosa - flat form of less spicy samosa with white coconut chutney is yummy !
Apart from these the lunch items are also fairly good.
During evening there is normally waiting time. And if someone waiting sees an empty space on your table they'll simply join you on your table. No offence to be taken. It's normal.
The quality has been the same since the time I first came as a toddler. My earliest memories include my mother feeding me smashed potatoes of the sukhi bhaji.
The snacks items are quite cheap. The lunch items are decently priced with quantity of the dishes sufficient for two.
Do try this place for breakfast...quick and good food.
Tried the Chikoo milkshake, Cold Coffee, Puri bhaji, Puri chole, Batatawada, Goan Samosa, Mirchi, Buns.
Everything was good, the best of the lot are the puri with aloo bhaji (Even kids can it as the bhaji is not spicy), the mirchi pakoda and the chikoo milkshake. The Buns are worth trying as they are typical Goan buns - slightly sweet. Would also recommend trying the Goan samosa as well as it is different with the filling being that of mix veggies.
The strawberry milkshake was a disappointment as it is made with strawberry syrup.
Again a good place for breakfast which is easy on your pocket.
Ordered Lemon Coriander soup, Pomfret curry and Prawns masala fry.
The Lemon coriander chicken soup was average. The Pomfret in the curry was really really fresh and cooked perfectly ... not even slightly over or undercooked! The curry is coconut milk based an goes well with rice. The Prawns masala fry were good...size of the prawns was bigger than what you normally get around but the masala was super tasty and slightly spicy...a traditional and authentic masala. Worth going there as the place is not expensive and good on your pocket.
Visited this much talked about resto for fish thali one afternoon. Was rather crowded! People just flocking in for their widely talked about thali. We ordered some Chinese starters and the fish thali.. My ratings below:
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 3.5/5
Service: 4/5
Value for money: 4/5
We paid about 350 per head for 7 fish thali, 7 lime sodas, and 3 Chinese starters.
Overall recommended!
This place serves really good food both veg and non veg. The ambience is pleasant. Service is really fast. Pricing is fair enough. Quantity is amazing. Definitely worth the visit when in Panaji.
If you are in Panaji, Cafe Bhonsle is a must. This place is known for its Goan Samosa which consists of Goan masala and nuts which tasted really good. I had four of them and couldn’t get over it. Next we ordered Nestle coffee and it was just perfect, not too sweet and not too bitter. It triggered our senses and I kept on having it.
I have been coming to this place for a a very long time. This a typically a place with good numbers of footfall on daily basis. Locals and office goers prefer this place for lunch very much.
For tourists this is a great place, don’t expect any fine dining experience but if you want to experience the authentic Goan food then this is the place.
We were on a 3 day family trip in Goa. We were searching a good restaurant in panaji to have seafood. People around suggested this place. We entered restaurant at 3PM. Although the restaurant was about to close at 3:30PM hotel staff greeted us very well and provided good service throughout.
I wanted to have pomfret. So the waiter brought two pomfrets in a plate for us to select. One was for Rs. 1200 and other one for 2000. We took 1200 one and asked for Rawa fry. Along with pomfret we ordered prawn curry and rice. Two of our family members ordered veg jaipuri and butter roti. The quantity served for the price is huge and can serve 3 people approximately.
Pomfret was nicely cooked and tasted delicious. Prawn curry was creamy and had nice coconut base. Taste still lingers in my mouth. We paid a bill of around 4000 for 5 people.
All in all if you are visiting Goa do visit this place if you wish to enjoy good seafood.
Great place for breakfast. Usually very busy and almost full every time I visit it. They have some really good food to offer. Their sweet bun & Puri bhaji is amazing. If you happen to visit this place during lunch time don't miss out on the Goan Fish Thali which is great. I love everything on the thali. Moderately priced with good ambience & staff, this is a must visit.

Was at this place as I got to hear a lot of good things ....it was an experience trying to reach here at lunch time...for a person who is not familiar with the Panajim one ways for traffic, it can be trying....and trying, it was...hot afternoon going in circles... finally after finding a place to park my car, I decided to march it out...what a relief that the place has chilled beer, that acts as nectar for a parched throat....and then I had one of the most wonderful experiences. The royal fish thali....Oh my God Almighty...with its Seer fish rawa fry, Goan prawn curry, mackerel curry, shrimp subzi, crab curry along with rice and kokum juice was nothing short of divine....you guys rock...for sure, I need to do a lot more of exploration of this paradise
I have to be honest, I judged by it's name and man was I wrong about this place. This place fed me the most amazing fish curry and fish fry without digging deep into the pockets. Now what else you need. 😀
I loved the way Goans prepare that Banana buns. I had never tasted these type of buns before. And being a vegetarian, buns used to be the most reliable source of breakfast when I was there in Panjim. Apart from buns Batata Vada, Puri bhaji, mashroom bhaji were among the priority list. Cheers to Cafe bhonsle ! They are awesome
It was my first day in Goa and we found casa bhosle ok Zomato. We three colleagues went to have dinner . The ambience is nice and the service is also quick. We ordered snacks and drinks .
The waiters helped us in selection of the best fish ,king fish in rawa. The chicken crispy was not good,no taste, however fish and veg snacks were fine. Show stealer is the dal friend and rice combo in main course. We came to a second time to this place with our manager after being disappointing from Marriott.
Highly recommended
Excellent restaurant... Must try once, Thali is available during lunch only - this is a common feature among most of the Goan restaurants at Panaji Market
I live all the way in Zalor, South Goa, but make it a point to visit Casa Bhonsale in Panjim every time I’m in the city. The food is absolutely delicious and has been consistent every goddamn time. It’s best to visit Casa Bhonsale in the afternoon as the rush is less and they serve a delectable fish thali. Their dinner spread is a la carte and hence no thali’s. Be it the fried fish or the gravy prawns - I’ve eaten almost everything on their menu with zero complaints. Their service is impeccable and the servers / waiters are adept at helping you order just what you want and the perfect quantities. Must I inform you that even vegetarians will be blown off their feet with the Veg thali that Casa Bhonsale serves. I personally recommend Casa Bhonsale to every person who is ever visiting Goa! Don’t miss it!
Like most of the restaurants in Goa this one serves sea food. But if want to have a taste of the local Breakfast you have to be here in the mornings.
Try their Pattal and Suki Bhaji with Undo (Boiled Chana Gravy and Dry Potato bhaji with Bread). Also the Mirchi on the menu is not just a Chilly served on a plate but a single Mirchi Bhajiya. Another interesting part is in the Sweets section, the Makkhan Peda is what other’s know as Balushahi.
Welcome to Goa and enjoy all of its flavors. Not just the Drinks and Sea Food.
Had been here for a family dinner and we were blown away with the fresh fish food we had here. The interiors are warm and cosy and the staff is polite and helpful. The service is quick too. We were suggested a full king fish for 1400/- (APC) in which we did order half fried and half curry and it was amazing. We also ordered a Panner tikka masala, Shell fish curry and Chicken lollypop and all were amazing.
Round 2... I didnt want to miss the thali they served in the mornings, So I headed down there to take on their thali (king fish thali) which had a fish curry, javla bhaji, bhendi bhaji, tival, crab curry, prawns curry and 2 pieces of fried king fish ...all for just 200/- and yes it was amazing ...
Big thimbs up to this place will be visiting soon again.
Sea food lovers paradise I must say. Chonak rava fry, surmai fry, tisrya masala, prawns curry and also some baby shark masala! It serves fresh fish which just melts in your mouth.
The best thing is ... If you are accompanied by a veggie then this place serves some best veg food too!
Try the individual dishes instead of the Thali. You can't miss this restaurant if you in Panjim. And if you are a non veggie then the Chonak Rawa fry is must!
Excellent food, good Ambience, helpful service. We are regulars. Bar is plentiful. Prices are not exorbitant. Recommended to all vegetarian and non-vegetarian lovers.
The ambiance here speaks elegance. I simply love the tandoori squids here. It's the one dish I always order. And it's perfectly cooked everytime. One must definitely try the mocktails they offer. Paneer tikka was juicy and delectable. While at many restaurants the naan is simply topped with grated cheese, here the naan is stuffed with plenty of cheese. Chicken Tikka masala was luscious. No place for complaints in the food department and it's worth every penny.
What do I say about this place, very best of Goan breakfast, hot and fresh everytime.. Cheers for keeping you the standards for all these years..
Was at Casa Bhosle for lunch with family. After Ritz Classic the prev day it was going to be a tough act to follow. But Casa Bhosle did not disappoint at all. The fish thali was v tasty and v v VFM at just Rs 180 - had pomfret fry, prawn curry, crab masala, fish curry and rice. A notch below Ritz for sure but sur holds its own. Highly recommended.
We ordered indian main course (paneer tikka masala and garlic butter naan). The food taste was awesome. Infact everthing was just amazing, including service, ambience.
Try fish fingers, shellfish, a fruit punch in mocktail. Even Fish thali is good enough if going for less budget. The place is good. Service too is great enough.
Ordered fish thali, i was literally hunting for this place 😂 got bored of chinese and continental food, was craving something homemade,
they serve authentic goan fish thali, fried kingfish , fish gravy, prawn curry, one green leafy veggie, dry fish veggie, sol kadi, the best meal i had in goa.
friendly staff, pocket friendly meal, the only con is that the thali is so huge its impossible to finish everything off the plate.
fish thali : 4.5 / 5
lime soda : 4 / 5.
Another first floor option serving fish thali.
It is a very economic restaurant. Quick service, good food helped satisfy the hunger.
The restaurant is spacious.
Enjoy!
Decent place for family...Has bar as well.Authentic Goan food...Do try thali and fish.Food is economical as compared to other places in goa...Taste is awesome
After roaming around the streets of Panaji under the scorching heat. Me and my bf decided to have lunch here. We ordered two fish thali and a prawn chilly fry. Food was good and the ambience too. The service can be improved 😀
Really good place for Fish Curry Thai. Everything in the thali was amazing. Had the king fish thali and it was mouth watering. Really really fresh fish and tasty. But what took my breath away was the Chonok Rawat Masada fry, this dish was just out of this world. The best fish I've ever eaten at a restaurant hands down. Really fresh and really tasty. I'm very stingy with my praises but I praise good cooks and good food and trust me this was one dish I really really loved. Fish thali was from around 200/- rupees whish is really really decent price.
Deserts were horrible. Caramel custard isn't Caramel custard but bread pudding. And chocolate ice cream is really bad. Not a place for deserts.
The main course and fish is worth the taste. Must try joint.
During our visits to Goa, we make a point to have the classic fish curry thali at Ritz Classic. This time in Panjim, we happened to find parking near Cafe Bhonsle and decided to give it a try. A local friend had cited the place as old classic for its snacks and Goan food. The Ist floor restaurant seemed to be recently refurbished. Our server was extremely attentive for a restaurant in Panjim. The fish curry thali was really wonderful. It had a separate fish curry other than the usual coconut-milk fish curry. Everything tasted good. Mussels rawa fried as a separate dish tasted great too. Its quantity seemed little but not the flavour. It's a place we'll be revisiting for its classic Goan food and good service.

Good ambience, great service and delicious food are the highlights of Cafe Bhonsle. We had ordered some masala crabs, kingfish and Chanak (local fish) rawa fry, golden fried prawns along with prawns curry and rice. Everything was superb. Will definitely visit this place when I visit Goa again. Also, don't forget to taste the tender coconut souffle.
Had crab masala and chicken chilli.... Chilli chicken was exceptionally good where as crab was not as good as I was expecting..... Bear were twice the price from outside...

One of those classy restaurants, that offer you decent value for your money.i had a veg fried rice along with a paneer manchurian and a vat69 to drink. I have also seen that the menu was not given on zomato...so i did the needful.
This place has that typical Goan breakfast cafe ambience! Bhaji paw, mirchi and samosas are good! Filling and easy on your wallet. It has a separate AC section. Clean and hygienic. The seafood section is good too. Decent thali.
Good food with good quantity. Ambience is cool, staff is awesome. We ordered mutton biryani, prawns rawa fry, squid tampura and beer. Earlier we thought it
won't be sufficient, but it's was more than enough for two people. Biryani served was with good quantity. Even they served good n lots of mutton pieces. M a Marathi leaving in Bangalore. This place reminded me of Marathi style mutton biryani.
In all I shall say this place is value for money. How much you pay that much you get or I suppose more.
Must must must visit.
Awesome Food.....Loved the taste....service was quick....staff was very professional....prices were reasonable ...overall it was very nice experience
Good food. Great service. Quite a few traditional Goan dishes which adds to its authenticity. I'd recommend the Goan pav bhaji which you only get in the mornings.
One of my go to places in Goa.
Very good food, very cheap.
My favourite items.
Mushroom samosa
Bun (house special sweetish puri) with various types of bhajis
Tomato bhaji
Mushroom bhaji
Alsana bhaji

If you are in goa and want to try the goan fish curry rice.. This is the place for authentic. Lots of sides and varieties.. Ambience is also cozy and comfortable..
I have been here for 3 times. I had both lunch and snacks at this place. Surely this is one of my favorite place in Goa. The fish thali is famous at this place. Kismoor is better than any other places in Goa. Puri bhaji is surely one thing to try when you are hungry. Different types of bhajis are available here. Service is late at peak times.
One of the best Fish Thali I ever had in Goa. Currey, Fish fry ( Mudaduso) everything was tasty. good and helpfull staff. Thanks for the experience.
Quality over Quantity :)
Very hygienic and good place to eat with your family.Food taste is very good and pocket friendly.
Service is also nice. Crowded place but have good service.
Astonishing ambience. Goan food is main attraction is here. We ordered here mushroom bhaji with bread and Mirchi Bhajji and taste was quite authentic.
Good to go :)
Vegetarian Wholesome food and tasty aloo sukhi bhaji with puri, batata bada and sweet bun. Good Breakfast joint. Total vegetarian food. Tasted as good as it was way back in 1989.
If you are in Panaji in the Evening Time, and one can’t find a hot tomato salad and batat sukhi bhaji with Puris other than Cafe Bhonsle’s.

Very nice. Service are quick. They also give hot water.
It’s very old, we always come here to have Mix Bhaji Pav or Salad Bhaji. Only thing these days their Pao is not consistent and not at all good. But Buns is alternate for it.
People also come here specially for Samosa.
One thing is strange is they only give single tissue paper person. Great way of reducing unnecessary loss. They have the quickest service. No matter how much crowded some one will come moment you get comfortable on seat. Even though different people sit on same sit they very well manage it.
Outside there is small book stall, I remember as a child I used to buy Digit or Chip magazines. Now a days those things are of no use but that had made me love technologies. And that person is still outside with different books, always with a newspaper in hand sitting out even during heavy rains.
This places serves amazing and mouth watering snacks. Variety is decent and service is also quick. Goan samosa and the mushroom samosa are must try.
Superb Sunday breakfast. Poori baaji and Buns are a must try. Loved their unique mixed baaji.
Saw a review for it in YouTube, so I thought I'd try it out. Prices are super reasonable, and the restaurant is packed even at 8:30 am!! It's very popular. But the neighborhood, despite being in a tourist area, is kind of disgusting and badly maintained (overflowing garbage cans, smell of pee, etc.). Food is good. Worth a visit, especially if you're on a tight budget.
It's a local's favourite spot for simple but yum food & strong coffee or chai, I visited in the late afternoon it's busy even during that hour of time and early evening also local flocks are really helpful even the service is very great the owner is also kind, they even suggested spots I must be visiting and helped me guide my way out to the next spot I was visiting. Thankyou 🫶 Cafe Bhonsle
If you come to Panji, then don’t miss visiting Cafe Bhosale. Very clean, prompt n quick service, and very tasty things to make your tummy happy like Buns (must have it), mirchi bhaji, batata wada (good not like Mumbai’s wada but nice because of different taste), puri bhaji etc.
Chats were really tasty, we loved all the chats we ordered.
Even the north Indian foods where pretty good with decent price.
Best choice for vegetarians to dine in.......
This Goan cafe serves the ultimate breakfast experience. The "Mirchi Bhaji, Bhaji Pav, Puri Bhaji" are must-tries. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it a top choice for authentic Goan breakfast.
Coming here after years, but the bhaji still tastes the same! Great memories at this restaurant and a must visit to enjoy authentic Goan breakfast. Come early though, cos post 10am everything is nearly finished.
A Veg cafe/eatery famous for goan snacks. Generally full with customers but due to large area seats are available. AC & NON AC available. fast & good service. Try the batata wada, punjabi samosa & sukhi bhaji (Goan style potato subji).
Nice local cafe. You can enjoy local Goan snacks here , along with that they also serve milkshakes, Veg Main course , Indian breads, Chinese. This cafe is very affordable as well the taste is also very good. For vegetarians this is a perfect place.
Excellent local fare. The Shira, poori, bhaaji was all very good
The star of the show were the Goan samosas. Crispy, juicy and delicious filling.
I went there for local breakfast which includes mangalore buns, mirchi wada, puri bhajji!! Food was great taste & fast service
Wait staff understand tourists, cheerfully helping everyone find suitable dishes. Food was tastily prepared respecting our request to keep mirchi low.
Next time i should have poori bhaji which nearly everyone seemed to be ordering.
They serve sweet bun and aalu bhaji which is a must eat when you are in panjim . Also the sweet Balushahi sold here is a must try
food was good for the prices.
pav bhaji was good and must try.
thali was okay not up to the mark.
service is so fast he bought soup, thali and pav bhaji at a time.
so we had to switch between having soup and thali and pav bhaji to have them hot.
they also have dessert options which are served fresh.
4 stars to the food they provide at reasonable prices.
the place was clean.
One of the best vegetarian option you can try near by.
