Visited this shop for how unusual it was to find a Mishra among D mellos & Dcosta's ( i know judgemental) but worth visiting. I tried their gulab rose balls.... which had believe you me real rose petals generously rolled over the mithai ball. Treat to eyes and makes you go gluttonous. The staff is humble and co operative
I had this dahi padi chaat a few days ago at Mishra pedha panjim Goa. this chaat is spicy sweet tamarind and tangy sauce over a layer of thin papdis along with a spicy moong daal sauce, sev, and sweet curd. I prefer eating the Raj kachori over this. The mithais at Mishra pedha are to die for especially the kaju ones!
I visited big misha pedha.the kachori taste is awesome.u must try chaat if u ever visit there.the bhel and pani puri is yummy and totally worth it.
The best lassi I have ever had. I had masala dhokla and veg patties which were delicious and looked tempting.
If you have a sweet tooth you must try the gulab jamuns here.
I visit mishra pedha outlet many times which is located at porvorim, they have the best chaats. I love their bhel. One of the yummiest they serve.
The rating is for the different taste in their Ras malai at different counters. The one just next to Body Shop has amazing stock of the best of best sweets. But the one in the market, just next to Bhaiyas Pav Bhaji lacks the vibe. The racks are empty; the ras malai tasted spoilt. We also picked some Pedas, which were not that great.
I had this preconceived notion that Goa is all about fusion food, goan food and beer and port wine , until I came across this really yummy indian sweet meats place , Mishra Peda.
Their pani puri is yummy. The peda here is so tasty that I ate them here and got packed a few cases for my home town for family and friends too. Bibinca here is the best. If you have a savoury palate and a sweet tooth. This place is for you. High quality products. Methi ke laddu are good for people who have diabetes.
A must visit place in Panjim and Madgaon also.
Variety of Indian desserts available here! I went there for the rasmalai! So yum that I ended up having rasmalai for dinner! Must go to place for Indian desserts!
I love this place for their Chaat for then their sweets,The. Shev Puri is so filling,Yeah I mean that. Each puri is filled with lots of content and it makes it kinda heavy,Spicy Pani puri is what I have everytime I visit this place ...Just amazing, the other thing I had is their style Pattis, with green chutney it’s OMG
I went to the newly opened Mishra Pedha outlet in Goa Mapusa area situated right opposite to the Navtara restaurant.
They have a good collection of sweets and namkeens and also few varieties of snacks like samosas.
I tasted their famous pedha's,halwa's,jamuns and also some of their namkeens.
All were very good in taste and the outlet was also maintained very neat and clean.
The price was bit high for me but can be ignored if they maintain the quality.
Recommended for Indian sweet lovers.....
Walking distance from the hotel I stayed in so landed up having my snack here before heading to Bagga beach for some proper Goa time.. its a sweet and chaat place with no seating arrangement.
We tried:
panipuri: a lot of Asafetida, and I am not really a fan of that flavour. So found it average.
Samosa: tasted good, loved the flavour of chutneys served along with it.
Overall,
Food:3.5/5
Service:3.5/5
Value for money:4/5
Ambiance:3.5/5
P.S.: Try it for some quick snacking :)
Great quality of sweets!fabulous taste!rich taste of their mouthwatering mithai makes it one of the most famous of its kind not only in goa but in many other states as well!
A great place to have chats and sweets. The shevpuris and kachoris are one of the best i tasted and very resonable price. The paneer patis though i liked the least.
I m a North indian and brought up with chats samosa chole bhature . Gulab jamun etc.
So I had come here hoping to find something close to it.
Well golgappas ya panipuri were ok. Tikki seemed a bit dry as curd and other chutney were less. Gulabjamun was not good. And pedas were ok. But atleast these things are available here that's ok for me.
Nice mini outlet for a quick bite or two on the go. Lovely combo of mouth watering chats made hygienically, at times with a twist ( try the paani poori for an idea ) and delicious sweet recipes too. Service is quick too.
This is a place you should go to for the love of Indian dessert!! had some delicious rassgullas and rassmalai here and absolutely loved it! The place seems really hygienic and cozy to me. And they have so many indian sweets.. yummm :)
Mishra Pedha provides a variety of Indian sweets which are so mouth watering. Banana Chips is my personal favorite here. So crisp and tasty. Do give this place a try for some fresh and tasty bites.
I would like to call it a vegetarian people's paradise, you get stuffs like samosa, kachoris etc without onion and garlic . Also an extensive variety of sweets on display . My personal favorite : samosa and chats .
This is newest entrant to the Indian sweet market in Goa. It is situated bang opposite the Azad Maidan in Panaji. I have been here many a times for their Indian sweets and for their chaats. I generally prefer having the chaat over there but for the Indian sweets, I would generally take a parcel and have it at home. For chaats, my favourites over here would be Raj Kachori Chaat, Dahi Shev Puri, Badam Milk and Bhel Puri. But for sweets, all of them are my favourites. The service and pricing is very prompt and reasonable. The ambience is not something which I would like to comment on. But I would surely recommend my fellow zomatians to try this place for their sweets and chaats. Time your visit during the festival seasons due to the Rushdie their sweets.
A nice place to get ur sweetness in life. Love the dharwad peda.. It makes me stop travelling to dharwad to get it.. And also all tiny gulab jamuns . They must melt in the touch.. Can't stop eating dem.
A very good place for sweet meats in Panjim. My personal favorites are the tiny gulab jamuns & jelibis as well as their kulfi! Too bad they closed down their snacks section of the first floor, it used to serve pretty good stuff.
Nice place for quick bites. Mishra peadh is sweets shop but some namkeen like Samosa kachori dhokla also available there and great in taste.
This is a small, cosy outlet of Mishra, where you can comfortably shop for various Mishra products. Quality of sweets is same as Hubli-Dharwad.
I love their sweets..
They have a huge variety to choose from.
Motichoor laddoo, kaju katli, Rasmalai is my fav here♥️😍
Pit stop for chat when in panjim. They have wide range of sweets. Tasty and hygienic chaat. Must try their Dahi sev Puri.
The chats over here are awesome. They maintain very good hygiene and cleanliness apart from that the food is also not that costly.
We have tried many things over there like rajkachori, bhel Puri, paani poori, samosa, alloo tikki Chat ,all items were very tasty.
They are the specialist in sweets/mithai, delicious test with new innovative's of products, fresh one. do try....
Nice place to have some snacks sweets and chocolates , pani puri was awesome (homemade) it’s cost 6piece at 40/- but it’s fines to have such nice one. Good range of sweets , chocolates
Best for Pani puri, Dahi puri, chaats, samosa, Indian sweets.
There are many outlets of big Mishra but they all have different taste of Pani puri and chaats. Plus this outlet is most busy so you get fresh sweets. Other outlets sell stale and old products.
You get papdi chutney, khakra, sweets and other chatpata types
