Good place to have vegetarian food. Elaborate menu including North Indian food taste is there. Visitors preferring pure vegetarian restaurant will find this a paradise as there are not much in Goa.

Awesome staff and food provided. I’m in love with the pav bhaji and masala dosa. Then we tried masal teas which was very yummy and GADBAD Icecream was to good.

My local Goan friend told me this story about Navtara and its origins.
He said that during a normal week a Goan household consume so much meat and fish that they feel like having vegetarian food on the weekends as a treat...to tap into this insight a Goan Chrisitan started Navtara Veg and now you have more than half a dozen of them dotting Goa.
We went there for dinner and as expected it was packed, it has two levels the ground level is for relatively small group and the first floor is air conditioned and more suited for bigger groups.
We had mushroom xacuti and few other Goan dishes along with South Indian fare. The food was awesome and the service was fast and great. All at very pocket friendly prices.
A perfect place to have good veg food in Goa., and they have outlets in all major areas of Goa :)

So we visited Navtara Restaurant, and we ordered north Indian Thali and mushroom chilli Uttapam 😁 What an amazing north indian thali it was 😅😅
2 Butter rotis, mix veg, tari wali bhindi, yellow daal, paneer ki sabji, papad, plain rice, achaar, pakode & salad, which was yummy & simple.
And where as mushroom chilli Uttapam was super delicious.

It was my best restaurant experience in out of the 7 i visited during my trip to Goa.
It's located in the busy Panji area, but parking is right outside.
There's a Non-AC section and an AC one. We sat at the pretty AC one, which was quite cold.

Bowled over by the Thali. It had so many items. Paneer, Aloo and a local vegetable curry, dal, curd, 2 rotis, pakoda, achar, suji halwa. I hope i haven't missed any item. All were tasty.
The Kokum Drink was great.
Their Navtara special soya samosa were unique to me and tasted good too.
The bill was low too.
The waiter who served us was smiling and impressive.

If you are vegetarian and visiting Goa, this place can be a great choice! They have multiple outlets across goa, we have visited three of them for lunch and all were good. Veg xacuty subji is must try according to me! South Indian options were also good.

Extremely good food, neat and clean ambiance. Highly courteous staff. We visited almost all navtara in goa but this one was the best. The staff Dinesh and Mahesh(served us on 17th july 2019 also) were amazong.They understood the order well. They know their menu and dishes and help you choosing the right dish for you. Thanks to them for making our visit jsut memorable after the tiring day in goa.

Food quality is good and they customize as per need. Veg manchurian fried rice, veg thali and south indian dosa/idli were great in taste specially coconut chatni. Comfortable seating and good location as its located in heart of Panjim market area. Their lunch items start after 12 noon time and only breakfast items are available before that. AC/normal seating areas available. Road side parking available. Cordial staff and quick service.

Good option for vegetarian food in Goa. I tried their outlets at Panjim and Siolim. Both were of good standard. Quality and quantity of food and service were good. Must try items were poori bhaji, mushroom xacuti, mango lassi etc. Mr. Sreekumar at the front office was very friendly and helpful.

The Restaurant looks good inside, the ambience and vibe is good too. Also the restaurant is well maintained. It offers quite a lot variety to choose from, ppl suggest getting Goan snacks, i didn't try so I can't tell, I tried veg dum biryani (veg pulao •́ ‿ ,•̀), it wasn't the best. The prices are average and not tooo expensive!.
