Mejwani Restaurant (also known as City Shack) located inside the Anantashram Hotel has two rooms, one air conditioned and one without. I ate inside the Air conditioned room Not sure if the prices are higher in there or not? The service was lovely and the food was delicious! Best Indian food I have eaten since being in India. I had the Half Tandoori Chicken and the Mushroom Goan Chilli Fry. I could barely finish it was so much food. So yummy! The Tandoori chicken was just spicy enough with a delicious coriander sauce and the mushroom dish was full of flavor with onions and peppers in a tomato based sauce. They asked how I would like my spiciness and I chose medium...it was perfect. Apparently they are extremely famous for their fish thali, but I was alone and didn't think I could finish it. I was charged less for each item than shown on the menu for some reason? I highly recommend!

Veg Forminahas ₹160 per portion that consists of 4 pieces. The taste was quite good & fresh, especially the outer crunchy part adding a texture to this entire dish! 💯 It is a perfect healthy snacking alternative for people who are calorie conscious.

I absolutely loved this place! While their menu may seem limited, they've got a great range of Goan and Portugese inspired dishes. Tastes very Authentic and just like Home cooked food! It's got a vibe and theme that remind me of an old style club but with a modern bar. View and seating was great, staff was very friendly. I highly recommend the Prawn Chilly fry and Beef Croquettes. Overall a 10/10 for me, went here on a whim and came out very happy.

One of the best places in panjim just 250 mts from panjim Church. Loved the cocktails, mouth watering and delicious authentic Goan and Portuguese food, lively world music playing in the background and the ambience gives you the feel of sitting in one of the old Portuguese clubs. A part of the decor signifies the way food was cooked in the olden times in Goa in earthen pots and coconut shells used as spoons, rest of the decor are actually part of ship instruments. The bar serves some of the best cocktails in Goa. We had an awesome experience here, will definitely come here again.

The first stop for the night is along the Fenny and Tapas Trail with Make It Happen. Seems to be a very old club (established 1909) After a shot of Fenny, we had Fenny cocktails (Mojito?); and some snacks including Cheese and Olive platter, Beef Croquet, Veg. Forminhas to name some. A wonderful nostalgic place to hang out with a nice group.

Food, ambiance, location - this restaurant has all 3 going for it. They have a limited menu, but they’ve stuck to what they do best, and you’ll appreciate that. Best time to go here is during lunch hour and sit next to the windows overlooking the garden. Or, if you’re in the mood for it, Friday nights are karaoke nights here (at least at the time of writing this).

Nostalgic ambience…Saudades … fond memories of the “good old days” Food like mother made it Choriz Pao is the best in Goa - even if the most expensive Occasionally an added bonus - live performance by talented musicians
