This was my favorite restaurant in goa. Excellent service. Awesome food. Beautiful Ambience. Staff is warm. This place is highly recommended. I tried lots of restaurants for north Indian food but none of them can close this restaurant. Must try kacha aam tangy mocktail, freshly made tomato shorba and kebab platter. This place actually deserves 6 stars.
This place was just what we needed after the lockdown..... Everything about the place right from the ambience to the food to the staff to the quality to the service was top notch..... It was my first time i visited this restaurant... And its definitely not my last time.... Check it out guys...
We visited Awadh House to celebrate my birthday..the entire team made sure that we had a great experience. As per the current norms the restaurant is well sanitised and the service personnel were wearing masks too. The ambience and the cutlery gave a royal feeling. We ordered dum biryani and a variety of kebabs , each better than the other, extremely soft & succulent with aromatic flavours. I also enjoyed the bubblegum wrap mocktail. We would highly recommend to try their Tangdi kulfi. Also, We were very much impressed by Mr. Kuldeep's hospitality. He was very enthusiastic & helpful and he made sure we had a wonderful time with his excellent service. when my fiancรฉ Shreyas Kamat Elekar contacted Gaurabh Quenim , he gave a prompt reply and helped him with the reservation and also arranged a surprise cake for me. Thanks to the Awadh house team for making my day so special โค๏ธ
The Awadh House Goa
Ordered food for take away toaday. Had ordered murg makhani , buna ghost and mutton chops. Every item was cooked well and Spiced perfectly. Usually take away food gets dry and doest taste as good by the time you end up eating but not with there food. That shows the quality of raw materials used are good. This is not the first time we have ordered from here and every time the food has been excellent. Also a special mention for the stalf and manger , extremly polite and hospitable.

I must mention this place has a vibe like no other. Restaurant is draped in old heritage house with a royal interior which takes you back in maharaja times. Coming to the food it is yummy and upto the mark that matches up to the ambience.

If in Panjim do visit here. It is near talaulikar hospital. One of the best restaurants I visited in goa. They really make the best and most authentic north indian food I must say that. Most other places can't get you the taste what you get here.
Coming from Jaipur where the history and royalty is at its best, expecting such royal lunch was not even a question but Oh Goa! you did surprised us. I will start with the ambience here.. when we parked our car, we werenโt expecting anything exceptional but the moment we entered, it was room full of royal ambiance. Later they took us to our table and that was the start of our royal and lavish lunch. Mr. Kuldeep was our host for the lunch and I would really like to thank him for giving special attention and for giving us such wonderful recommendations for choice of food. He knew exactly what we wanted without even telling him. When we were unsure to order the food in full or not as we wanted to taste the awadh style food .. he insisted that he will accommodate it in just a small serving so that we donโt miss out on it. It was the nicest thing to do since everywhere the restaurant are least bothered about the wastage. At last I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a lavish lunch or dinner at a place where you could relax too.
Thanks
Visited them last month and absolutely loved the ambiance and service. The food was definitely the cherry on the cake. I usually don't go out to eat Indian food but Awadh house I am definitely coming back.
PS: That Tangdi kulfi still got me drooling.
This place has that Nawabi vibe. Starters and desserts were the best part.
Great food , good wine , friendly staff , great ambiance must go place
Kuldeep was a good host n his recommendations were good the portions of starters could be a little bigger
Been here for the first time and i was impressed by the service the cutlery and crockery used and also the food we ordered was hot and taste worthy.. the menu is very different from your regular restuarant... must visit place for Biryani and Tandoors and more
Valentine Day at the Awash House was an unique dining experience.
Various curios and artifacts placed around lend the place an intriguing air and induce one to stay and linger.
The wait staff in ethnic uniforms were pleasant, polite and knowledgeable; they told us a little anecdote behind each dish and treated us like we were royalty.
The food..ummm, it was indeed fit for kings!
Our orders:
Chicken and Mutton Kebabs,
Tangdi Kulfi (succulent chicken in white sauce and cheese wrapped in banana leaf)
Dal Awadh (slow cooked overnight)
Murgh Makhni
Dum Biryani.
Gulab Jamun and Malai Kulfi
I will sum up the cuisine in one word "IRRESISTABLE"
I went in wondering whether it would be worth the price I was paying, came out feeling on top of the world. Every Paisa was well spent.
A superb menu with succulent mutton dishes, mainly the awadh bhara chops and lakhnavi seeks kebabs and to top it the awe inspiring mutton biryani.
Frequenting the place since last few months and it great
Went on an empty stomach and came back with a full heart!
Very regal, opulent right from the interiors to the cutlery and ofcourse the food. Tangdi kulfi happened to be our favourite. A very unique dish having a leg piece marinated with a creamy sauce and cooked in a banana leaf. The mutton bharra chops were a favourite too. The meat was soo tender and perfectly cooked, it was falling off the bone like butter. The cocktails were great too, especially the Garden of Eden. Overall a great experience!
Tastiest Awadhi food in Goa!!! Period. Excellent ambience , exceptional service , next level tasty food. A must visit.

This restaurant is pretty new but they know how to serve the authentic Awadhi cuisine with super royalty. Loved the melt in mouth galouti kebabs, the dahi kebabs too were good. Murg Mussallam and warqi parantha were to die for. The icing on the cake was the phirni.

Well well well ........ The Awadh house is an old heritage house converted into a fine dining Awadh based theme restaurant, serving authentic food from the forgotten era .
Food and service is very good. The ambience is very rich and warm.
Highly recommended for all food lovers
If you love great ambience and a cosy place - This is an amazingly must visit spot! Right from the moment you walk in till you get seated, you get engulfed in that royal feeling.
The setting is enhanced by the mellow lighting that sub-consciously helps build your appetite. Before ordering make sure your server knows what kind of food you're looking food. Because if you don't order the right dishes you might not enjoy that much. We had some amazing kebabs that melted in a second and the cocktails are simply gorgeous!
It was a very unique experience dining at the awadh house, the ambience makes you feel like you're in a whole different era would definitely recommend this place the food was excellent, we tried the Galouti kebab that melts in your mouth along with some more delicious dishes. A great experience in general
There's nothing I don't love about this restaurant. Right from the time we were welcomed! We ordered the Murg Angara Kebabs which was so delicious and we tagged it with the Tangdi Kulfi, which was so so so creamy, soft and smooth. The service was incredible, and we were approached with so many smiles. The details put in making every single dish and beverage is unbelievable but true (the bubble presentation on one of their mocktails)! I'm definitely going back again and I recommend this restaurant 100% to everyone!
Dinner chi quality sunder hoti Hotel Interior sunder hote
Very polite staff & good service Taste quality was great
A meal fit for a king and thatโs exactly how I felt. Right from the decor and interiors making you feel like youโve travelled back in time with a palace like setting in a building consisting of 3 floors of dining.
Centuries old recipes, slow cooked to perfection. Everything I tried was amazing. From the Bharwa mushroom kebabs stuffed with cheese to the melt in mouth minced lamb galouti kebab, the starters were top notch. My fav dish of the lot was the tangdi kulfi which confused me at first but man was it delicious! Chicken drumsticks marinated in fresh cream, cheese and pepper, wrapped and slow cooked in a plantain leaf. Succulent, creamy and absolutely sliding off the bone, beautiful. I also tried a few more kebabs, a slow cooked lamb shank, delicious mutton Biryani and the special dal Awadh which was a thick and rich, slow cooked black lentil dal cooked overnight.
Their cocktails were absolutely amazing and I enjoyed every single one I sampled. My two favs were the gin based kaffir lime breeze and the whiskey based saffron summer. Donโt forget to keep some space for dessert as their paan barfi and their sinfully large faloodas will leave you completely floored.
Highly, highly recommend The Awadh House , a premium experience that you should definitely treat yourself too ๐
Would recommend this place any day
Excellent service 5/5
Taste of food 5/5
Ambience 5/5
Valve for money 4/5
The food is amazing and worth the visit, although it is on the pricey side. But we'll worth the amount,
Complements to the Chief & Bartender who did an excellent job.
The place is not just about the unbelievably delicious food it's also about the experience. As soon as you enter you feel like a royal in the midst of your palace somewhere in Lucknow. The service is top notch and you will be pleasantly surprised with the food which is as authentic as it can get. Portion sizes are large so you will have a hearty meal. Loved the Galouti kebabs, Awadhi Barrah Chops, Tangdi Kulfi and you can just drink bowls of the kaali dal- super delicious. Should definitely try the cocktails(Paan ki dukaan & Regal Sour) and desserts(Shahi Tukra) which are awesome. A must visit place in Goa!
Must visit restaurant in Panaji, this place had all aspects covered ย the architecture and ambience is the best in town, the service is top class the people are very polite, trust hem with the suggestions, I tried their Mocktail garden of eden, and also tried their signature cocktail herbal Gimlet. for starters shiva the manager suggested Lahori Prawn which was on out of the world, and Nalli Barrah Lazeez, for main course we had Roganjosh the naan basket, mutton Biryani Dal Awadh, and to end the meal their signature Deserts Paan Barfi and shahi tukra...ย
ย the best experience in Goa . Truly a Regal dining experience!
Words fall short to describe this beautiful Royal place located in the capital city. An Awadhi cuisine restaurant that makes you feel like Royalty. Definitely recommended to visit this place and do not forget to try their dal awadh, murgh angara kebab and shahi tukra. These are some of my favourites from the menu.
One of the few places or only place I have been in panaji which offer authentic awadhi cuisine. Service was also prompt and good. Overall, quite a good place to spend an quiet evening with some good food.
Ambience and the food makes this place a must visit in goa. Food was savoury enough to satiate hunger pangs..
Had dahi kababs, angara paneer tikka and dal awad.
Seriously the best place if you wish to eat some amazing awadhi food .. totally totally satisfied with the taste and quality of food we ate .. tangdi kulfi is the hero dish easily .. we couldnโt help ourself but eat it twice .. such a blast of flavours in the mouth .. perfectly slow cooked chicken in a delicious cheesy gravy melts in the mouth.. this dish reaffirms the saying that we live to eat ..all the dishes we had were suggested by Kuldeep who knows exactly what to suggest to the guest .. thank you Kuldeep and thank you team awadh house.. it was a surreal experience
Authentic Lucknowi food. Unparallel ambience and service!
Stuffed chicken drumstick and Angara kebab were delicious.
We preferred the chicken tikka biryani over the mutton biryani. Hence the one star less.
Special mention about the service which is too good and lovely ambience and decor.
Excellent food. Very cooperative staff guided me through the menu. Very good ambience. Quantity swerved was very opt and taste was mouth watering. Sure I will visit again.
A great gastronomic journey of Awadhi cuisine awaits you the Awadh House.ย As you walk in, you canโt help but devote a minute or two to soak in the grandeur and beauty of everything that has gone into building this gorgeous space. Once seated at the table get ready to meet the rich set of traditionally heavy Indian cutlery! ;) The Royals surely have come again to re-write a story of culture and cuisine, giving you the finest taste of royalty in Goa.ย Coming to the main aspect: It is very tough to zero down on your food because everything on the menu seems so good. However, if itโs your first time here I would insist you stick to the best sellers - Some of my absolute favourites were the Galouti Kebabs ( read melt-in-your-mouth kebabs), Bharwan Mushrooms (The bomb), Murgh mussalam, Dal Awadh and Nalli Nihari (So so full of flavour). Among the desserts, I tried the Shahi Tukra, Paan Barfi and the falooda. I'm going to ask you to try them all :Pย The food was outstanding and so was the service.
Itโs a no brainer that Awadh House is one of the best places to currently dine-in Goa! (Should be on your to-do list when in Goa)
Kuldeep our server was brilliant- very attentive, knowledgeable and confidant. The tangdi kulfi and Gosht dum biriyani were my favourites however every dish was special. Veg dishes were also fabulous. A must visit place if you are a fan of mughlai, awadh, northern frontier cuisine!
We had a wonderful experience here. The kebabs (Galouti, Stuffed Tangdi) were succulent and delectable. The mutton biryani was very well made. Rashid took good care of me and my parents. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

Must try dishes:1. Drinks- Pan ki duka- signiture coctail, Herbal Gimlet
Startes- Non veg kabab platter

Loved the Mutton Biryani and the ohh soo soft Galoti kebabs with my friends. The service by Kuldeep here in the pictures was awesome. Soo hospitable and kind. The biryani is a must have. Look forward to coming back again. Pictures don't do justice. Quaint old world interiors.
Back soon!
Visited this place today and man it was an experience in royalty! Great food, what an ambiance! The cocktails were mashalla and the dum biryani was too good. We were taken care of by Mr. Sumeet wonderfully who always came to ask about the food and its taste. A must visit - suggestion to all those who would love to experience some royal food along with a very khaandani/ shahi feeling and atmosphere!
The gulaab ka halwa was like the cherry on the top!
I highly recommend this place if you're looking for new places of culinary delight in Pnajim.
Right in the heart of the city is this restaurant serving some amazing authentic Awadhi food. A lovely location, amazing decor. We were welcomed very pleasantly by courteous staff. We were damn hungry and the started off by giving some tamatar dhania shorba and assorted papad. The food was presented very well, we tried the hariyali tiger prawns, ajwaini fish tikka very well marinated and done up to perfection. We never thought that seafood in Indian flavours would taste as amazing this. Goan seafood in Awadhi flavours ..excellent must say
Thnk u for the lovely service viraj mirajj and all the others including manager who visited his guests during our dinner .. itโs easily located in the heart of panjim and the solace is a 3 floor building in which down floor is a small non bar area and the above floor is the bar area with tables near the windows which is cute .Loved the food and the presentation... I loved loved loved the apple cinnamon Mojito would decently return for their Dum biryani with the amazing texture Raita., overall worth the price for a special dine out with your loved ones ..
Presentation is nice and staff Rashid and tapos ,manager Shiva has done well decoration for Marriage Anniversary
Very authentic Awadhi restaurant, from the decor to the food every aspect was authentic. We had a lot of starters including the tangdi Kulfi which was delicious, the haryali tiger prawn so well done up and the ajwaini fish tikka. Every starter was truly amazing. Very well marinated and cooked. Never seen chicken fall of the bone but the tangdi Kulfi gives you a view of that. Highly recommend this place, it might look a bit expensive to begin with but the portions size is great for the price
Service is very good, the staff is very attentive. Thanks to Rashid there who treated us like Nawabs.
My love for Lucknowi biryani brought me to the Awadh house Goa. The location is very central, the decor mesmerising. I ordered for the Awadhi Barra chops and the gosht dum biryani. The lamb chops were so well cooked that the meat fell of the bone, the masala was also great. The biryani came very traditional with the purdah, very flavourful and just the one I was looking for. The Lucknowi biryani is the opposite of the Hyderabadi biryani and has very subtle flavours. If you want a spicy option they have the chicken tikka biryani as well.
Food was amazing ... Service is also good ... Staff like kuldeep was very helpful I'm suggesting us the dishes and all the suggested dishes were very tasty
Well well...got to know about this place from zomato itself....non the less i wasnt disappointed unlike the other places for authentic awadhi food...we enjoyed their delicious food, filled with taste and flavor.
Their mocktails are to die for,and the service is in impeccable.we had sohail and the other guy whose name i forgot at our service,n they were at their best, giving us a very comfortable dinning dining experience โคโค

Being a vegetarian, not many places have good veg Indian food, but the Awadh house has been an exception. The feel of the place is amazing, the decor makes it feel like a small Haveli in the middle of the Panjim city. Loved the food and especially the tamatar dhania shorba, we had the paneer Angara tikka and kamiri kulcha with Palak paneer, all were outstanding. As it was a Saturday we had to wait for a table cause we had not reserved but mr shiva the manager and Neeraj took very good care of us
Being an art lover, I fell for the decor and the ambience of the place. The old house of the Art Deco era so beautifully designed. To top it up the place smelled beautiful and the food was top notch. Loved the Paya shorba to start with, which was a perfect blend. The tangdi Kulfi chicken drumstick coated with rich creamy sauce was just the best, never had something like this before.
The rogan josh and tandoori jumbo crab was outstanding. Loved the way the crab was prepared. We were too full for deserts maybe next time
The first thing that catches your attention is the wonderful awadhi interiors of this place. To start with they gave us a complimentary serving of papads and tomato shorba. We had Murgh Angari and a Nailli Barrah Lazeez as appetizers and it's definitely the most succulent and flavourful kebabs I've eaten lately. For mains we ordered Nalli Nihari with Kulcha and a mutton Biryani.
The preparation was nearly perfect and the service was pleasant. The staff is courteous and they definitely make sure you leave the place with a satisfied tummy and a huge smile! Will definitely visit again.
Had a pleasant dining experience. Went here in Sep 22. Had the lotus stem chat, which my family liked (I'm not a fan of sour chats). The Galouti kebab was nice and soft (albeit a bit too soft) but tasty. However the Murgh kebab with hummus was really good, the flavors complimented each other well. The best dish however was the Murgh Musallam, which was super tasty, the meat soft and tender, it went really well with the kesar paratha. Would highly recommend this dish. And lastly we had the chicken biryani, which was really flavourful. But we were almost full by the time. All in all, a good dining experience.
Incredible food. We were on a culinary journey through Goa and we all agreed that this was the best! We had the Paan ki Dukaan, Kafir like cocktail, duck taco, mutton boti, mutton biryani. Trust me when I saw everything was lip smacking!
Akshay served us and did an excellent job. He was attentive and polite. The food service was quick.
Overall highly highly recommend this beautiful restaurant.
If you want authentic, fine dining Lucknowi cuisine in the heart of Goa, look no further... The Awadh house in Panjim is the place for you... the place as the name suggests does actually look like a house, a bungalow... the ambience is another topic that you can surely discuss besides the droolworthy food... the Galouti kebabs are not to be missed... besides we tried the spcl Eid Menu, which was a bonus try out...the Lotus root chaat, the Non-veg platter, the raan nalli, the Gosht Mandi.. filled our stomach to our hearts content... the desserts, our fav was Shahi turka, ... we also tried the Jamunn Nut. (Kids enjoyed it because of the pistachio nut ice cream) this place definitely is a deserving 5/5

This place oozes opulence and royalty. The interiors are aesthetically done and will transport you back in time. The hotel is spread over three floors with cosy enclosures within each floor. Each enclosure has an artistically different theme. Coming to the food part, we ordered chicken and mutton biryani and both tatsed awesome. The quantity was good too. Need to make a special mention of the cocktails....they were simply mind-blowing! To sum it up, the place has an awesome ambience, wonderful wine and fabulous food.. pretty much everything that one expects in a fine dine experience. We were attended by Neeraj, who was fantastic and helped us a great deal in making the right choices!
The place has amazing ambiance and with good to moderate food if you choose right. We ordered a pinacoloda and mojito for drinks the pinacoloda was nice the mojito was nice but a bit too punchy.
For food it was a chicken kebab which was nice and a the highlight of the course which was tangdi kulfi which is a must have if you ever go there and then there was the bhiryani which was alright i expected it to be better. Overall it was a well balanced meal with great staff to add to it.
Recently visited this beautiful, royal and elegant place in Panjim. A school house turned restaurant. A vintage property with traditional architecture The Awadh House got me glued. This place serves the finest Awadhi Cuisine straight from the land of nawabs.
We started off with drinks such as Paan ki Dukaan (a vodka based cocktail with infused betel leaf and lemon grass) which was good.
The welcome drink before we started the food was tomato shorba and was so very tasty.
Nalli Barrah Lazeez was one delicious appetizer which is presented so well. Tangdi Kulfi was my personal favorite where chicken was coated with rich sauce cream cheese, pepper and wrapped in plantain leaf and cooked in tandoor. Absolutely divine in taste. So rich in taste and tenderโค Ajwaini Fish Tikka was another delicacy which was spicy and so good. Go for it guys. Murgh angara kebab was extremely delicious, with right flavors of mustard oil, yoghurt and spices.
We jumped into main course where we had Kali Dal, Dal awadh (highly recommended) with roti. Murgh Matka Dum Biryani was a decent and flavourful dish served with raita. For the dessert we had the classic phirni which was served in matka. Loved it.
Absolutely loved the presentation and taste of all the dishes. A great place to have some scrumptious dinner.
If you love great ambience and a cosy place - This is an amazingly must visit spot! Right from the moment you walk in till you get seated, you get engulfed in that royal feeling.

However if itโs your first time here I would insist you to stick to the best sellers - Some of my absolute favourites were the Galouti Kebabs ( read melt-in-your-mouth kebabs), Bharwan Mushrooms (The bomb), Murgh mussalam, Dal Awadh and Nalli Nihari (So full of flavour). Among the desserts I tried the Shahi Tukra, Paan Barfi and the falooda. Im going to ask you to try them all :P The food was outstanding and so was the service.
Itโs a no brainer that Awadh House is one of the best places to currenty dine in Goa! (Should be on your to do list when in Goa)
Beautiful space, delicious cocktails and food! The waitress are also very caring and professional. This place is a wonderful experience. My cocktail was the one with lime and lemongrass
Wonderful place with yummy food and best dal awadh in the house!
The mocktails are nice too!
Sandeep one of the staff is courteous and accomodating. Old portuguese house refurbished. Been here a few times on my anniversary, karwa chauth, office lunch etc. Found it a class place.
Shahi tukda to die for!! โค๏ธ
Best place to eat Mughlai food in Goa. The meat is supple and cooked in Dum, a slow cooking process. The restaurant draws inspiration from the days of the yore and looks legit Nawabi.
They have brought back the best of traditional awadhi cuisine like none other and I loved tasting almost all of it. SPecial mention goes to the Chicken Tengri kebab served from banana leaf!
If you would ask, why eat Awadhi cuisine when in Goa?
I would say, because nothing can ever, EVER, beats Galouti kebab! Add to that, Dum Biryani, Kali Daal (slowcooked for 72 hours), and more!!!
Beef and pork are not served here. Wine is served and I loved the sula white wine.
