A month ago, visited with my friend on this place...The outlet is located in old panvel...In this got a variety of dishes including veg and non veg...so I ordered with the Chicken 65 in that they were served 6 big chicken piceses and taste of it was amazing and provided a good quantity...
The chicken biryani was awesome. The gravy was mixed well with rice. Veg biryani was also good.It had the right amount of spices and even though it was Veg it tasted good. They offer three major varieties of biryani - chicken, egg and vegetarian biryani. Both its chicken and vegetable/vegetarian biryani are very popular because of their taste and convenient packing, which makes it very easy to serve and eat. One portion of chicken biryani consists of three succulent pieces of chicken.
Overall a good place for Birni lovers. The place has got really good options in Biryani. They have a really good start in kebabs. I and the family enjoyed everything and really loved it. The Chicken Chettinad was again a unique menacor that was tasty in the taste of nuns Marg Marg Kalimiri Tikka was a victory….
Never been here but a perfect delivery partner. If one likes proper spiced or extremely generous portions of rice n meat, then Indichef will hit the spot with it's biryanis.
They cook their chicken biryani traditionally in dum style, which flavours the rice immensely. Flavourful and superbly balanced biryanis that one can't resist eating dunked in Hyderabadi biryani or other whichever one prefers.
This place has always satisfied my cravings whether it's biryani or some kebabs or be it gravy. Their non veg dishes is truly awesome.
The biryani over here is really yummy and mind blowing and tge specialty is biryani and in desert i love cheese cake that is really rich and tasty i love it and the quality of the food is also really nice
Had ordered tandoori chicken pretty good. The best place I would in whole panvel area bcz the taste was good and even proper roasting was done. No artificial colour was added which was the best part. Looking forward for more taste.

It was spicier than I had expected which made me like it even more. (may not be the best option for those who don't usually have spicy food)
Nevertheless, the flavours and succulent chicken pieces were upto the mark.

Chicken tikka briyani is just awesome. A perfect blend of chicken tikka immersed in Traditional Biryani. Quantity and Quality was up to the mark. Moreover they even give a rasgulla with it. Their packing and hygiene was also too good.
Total value for money and the taste is what it needs to be ....I ordered regular Hyderabadi dum biryani ....had all Indian spices in it... quantity is also good for one person....Good place to eat non veg after a long time in Panvel.

We had called for Chicken Dum Biryani from this restaurant. Very pleased with the biryani. Taste was wonderful with good quantity of chicken.
There was a complimentary Rasgulla also which tasted equally nice.
Its soo palatable and nice in taste.
Indi chiken lollypop, from Indichef has a very different ( Indianised/ tandoori) taste.
It is fried and have great colour.
Time of deliverd is also good.
Compleamentary sezwan sauce is also very tasty. I have kept some in my fridge for later use.😝

You can opt for either regular or matka & we opted for the matka. Vegetarians can opt for Veg Biryani too. The masala’s are perfect, nor too bland nor too spicy. What makes special about the Chicken Matka biryani is the Dum cooking. Dum is basically slow cooking in clay with lid close with dough. This helps in releasing all the flavours of the spices to the rice and the meat. Cooking in ghee also makes this dish flavorful to the taste buds. Chicken pieces were nicely cooked & served with raita. Here, indichef provides with complimentary rasgulla ( do check my views on rasgullas in later part ) with every biryani.
CHICKEN CHETTINAD ( 4.5 /5 )
The uniqueness of this dish is that it has spices which are deep roasted & ground. Hailing from south india, the dish has the all the spices which gives kick to the flavour. The chicken is marrinated with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric & chilly. The marinated chicken is then cooked with grated coconut , onions and spices which includes in-house masala’s. Now, each in-house masala’s have their own aroma & taste and thus it reflects on your plate. The chicken was tender and masala/ gravy is on the spicier side. Easy to go with indian breads and rice.
GARLIC NAAN ( 4 /5 )
Naan made in tandoor with garlic. The garlic gives the pleasant aroma as you take each bite of it. Good to go with gravies.
RASGULLA ( 5 /5 )
Wish I would have rating beyond 5 for this ! It seems like Indichef have literally brought the Kolkata’s Famous Rasgulla ( also can be called rasogulla in bengali terms ) here in Navi mumbai. Made from pure Indian cottage cheese ( also called as Chhena ). It so soft that it would melt in your mouth. The one available in sweet shop are spongy and non bengali people are used to it. But No sweet shop can match the softness of indichef’s rasgulla. Try it once and surely you wont feel like having rasgulla from anywhere else. Its the BEST rasgulla you can get.
Tandoori chicken was good, mutton hyderabadi dum biryani was awesome but a bit too oily.

For people like me living in the western suburbs, travelling for work to Navi Mumbai is somewhat like a trip to another planet.
There’s a habit among us which I would need to candidly admit that we “westerners” consider that part of the city to be no better than the Amazon forest, where you may not get anything good to eat.
So the option is to stuff our tummy to the fullest before we leave so that we don’t get hungry till we return back.
Fate playing hard on me, last week when I was literally “stranded” in Old Panvel with some client visits which went on till late in the evening, hunger pangs left me with no option to scroll through Zomato for some possible options to stay alive.
I tried out this delivery joint based in Old Panvel, and though they have their limitations on the delivery radius, being a strict delivery only outlet, I was glad that they covered the area where I was located that day.
I tried out these dishes and was deliciously satiated.
Chicken Kosha Roll; the rolls were really flavoursome in true Bengali style of Kosha with the chicken pieces sautéed well in all the spices.
Tibetian Chicken Momos; the really thin coating stuffed with the deliciously soft chicken just melts in the mouth.
Lucknowi Chicken Dum Biryani; the presentation was absolutely impressive, served in the matka in which it is cooked, perfectly put to dum in a small scale. The Biryani was really aromatic and chicken pieces in it quite succulent.
Good Food! Great taste. Delivery on time. All good!

Sudden cravings, craving for biryani, craving for something yummy are very normal and occurs way too often. To satiate my craving this time I tried Indi Chef, known for their amazing range of Matka biryanis.
It's better to call them and understand the delivery radius and delivery timing. it's a pure delivery joint and since I am in Navi most of the time, this weekend I tried IndiChef
Mentioned below are the dishes, I tried from here:
Chicken Kalimiri Tikka: tender boneless chicken chunks, perfectly marinated were delicious and filled with flavours.
Tangdi kebab: the tangdis were perfectly cooked with each thread full of flavours. Goes well with drinks and otherwise. The Indian spices were spot on.
Indichef Chicken momos: 6 pieces of pipping hot momos were served which were delicious and flavoursome.
Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani: The biryani comes in a Mutka and covered with white flour. The biryani was delicious, slow cooked with succulent chunks of chicken. Each of the grain of biryani was finely cooked, which separated nicely from one another.
I received the delivery on time, properly packed in microwavable containers, without any spillage. It was a total value for money
Ordered Butter chicken masala with tandoori rotis and Chicken Biryani combo.
Butter chicken was good, but was a bit too sweet (don't know if that's the actual taste or it was by mistake). Coming to the biryani, it was damn good and very tasty, felt like Hyderabadi biryani, but the quantity was less. The Malai tikka was really delicious, and the rasgulla was good too.
Packaging was good and delivery was on time. Overall 4 stars.
Update 2019 : Ordered Lucknowi Chicken Dum biryani, Hyderabadi Mutton biryani, Chicken Kosha roll and Lassi. Both the biryanis were really great, especially the mutton one. Quantity can be improved, but quality is excellent. Kosha was tasty, and lassi was good too. Keep up the good work guys!

This is a purely delivery based place and hence please call them to understand if they can order till your destination. This is based in old Panvel.
We began with 2 kebabs;
1. Chicken Tikka: It’s highly possible you have tried this once at least. One of the most generally ordered items, we had to try this and the result was amazing. The meat was cooked well and is really tasty.
2. Mutton seekh kebab – I favor mutton more than chicken. Here the minced meat mixed with ginger and chilly felt really good. I always believe that if you don’t cook the meat properly, it doesn’t feel right. Here, the meat was cooked well.
3. Awadhi special mutton biryani- We then tried a mutton biryani. It’s hot, not that spicy but full of taste. It’s amazing. Do give it a try.
Overall, give it a try. This is worth the money!

Had bookmarked this place from quite some time and finally decided to order. The concept of matka biryani and specialised delivery kitchen has finally reached this side of the city and was pleasantly surprised to see some good reviews for this place.
The place seems to be more popular for its non vegetarian fare. But they do serve some vegetarian dishes too.
Ordered a paneer subz matka biryani, aloo paratha and a rasgulla through zomato delivery. They had a good discount promo running.
The delivery was 25 minutes late then expected delivery time. On Zomato chat support the guy said that they had contacted the restaurant and they said that i had changed the location for the delivery of the food which was a total lie. Dont know who was lying but i got the order in 70 minutes which was a bummer. The packaging was good but was sad to see the matka had a chipped edge.
Coming to the food the aloo paratha was made of whole wheat but was too tasteless and bland. Could have definitely done with some salt and spices.
The biryani though was a complete winner. The dum flavour was perfect accompanied with the spices. The biryani was still hot due to the matka packing. This was easily one of the best veg biryanis i have had in a long time. My family members who'd don't adore restaurant food too were hooked on the taste. There was good mix of veggies and paneer. The rice was fluffy and each grain was seperate. It was not overtly oily unlike other run of the mill restaurant biryanis. Although felt that the gravy masala could have been on the lesser side. Also the rice had huge pieces of cauliflower. But the taste factor was simply wow.
They sent an additional complimentary rosgulla and they were super yummy. They were not fluffy and soggy like the cheap ones and has a good chewy channa aftertaste to it.
Overall this place has a very good potential, save for a few bloopers which i guess they should sort out soon.
Would be definitely ordering again from here..

talking about the Tangdi Kebab and Chicken Malai Tikka , the pieces were precisely cooked. the taste was top notch. then , The Chicken Matka Biryani was very impressive. the spices and the taste was perfect. my family very much loved the biryani.

quantity wise also it was good. the packaging of food was properly done. the onions & chutney’s complemented the dishes well.

"Veg kholapuri" was good.
"Paneer butter masala" was good, but tasted a little sweet, so sweetness needs to be reduced.

I've been to a friends place and called for some Biryani's ( Awadhi chicken briyani.)
The biryani was put into DUM in a matka sealed with atta, which added to the flavour.
Spices were in correct quantities, rice was infused with flavours of chicken and spices.
Chicken tikka was nice and juicy.
The complementary rasgulla, was equally delicious.
I recommend the outlet to all.
The biryanis are a must try. Top on taste and hygiene. Also the complimentary Rasgulla with biryanis is like the icing on top of the cake.
I wish if they could have provided some more masala with the biryanis.
The non-vegetarian food taste really good, but the same cannot be said for vegetarian food.

We had ordered kebab and Biryani combo- Awadhi Biryani, one achari Biryani which was supposed to come with salad, raita and a desert, but I received only desert with it.
Quantity was good for one person, Biryani was tasty with correct flavors, also less oily (I had also mentioned in special cooking instructions that food must be less oily) so I don't know If it was because of it or it is actually the way I received..!..
Kebabs or okay.. And rasagulla was tasty too..

We had ordered parcel from here. Though the taste was different from regular, still needs improvement. As the rates are quoted, the portion size also must increase as per my opinion.

One of the most tastiest, hygienic and beautifully presented foods in Panvel. They only deliver food, there's no dine in facilities in here, but they do deliver even in some remote corners of Old Panvel. A big thumbs up.
