The ambiance and decor is quite intriguing. The food is nice. Except don't try the "Malai Kofta" unless you want a sweet dish.
The service is good.
It's on the main road so easily accessible by all. Well it's a Sagar Ratna Restaurant so everything can be trusted to the name but yes Malai kofta was little too sweet.
It was really great visiting the restaurant and the decide truly matched the south indian ambiance. The food was too good. The south indian thali and especially the mango halwa was amazing . The rasam acted as a perfect appetizer and really eased the soar throat . Filter coffee at the end was great as well. Highly recommended. The staff was helpful as well.
Was there not too long ago and had paneer masala dhosa and rawa kesri. Amazing food quality and very welcoming staff. I had a "hit 'n' miss" feeling but I surely had it HIT. Didn't get a chance to speak with the owner as my parents wanted to compliment about the service; however, whoever is the owner, keep up the good work and we will see you soon.

A South Indian restaurant in Punjab relates to the taste of South India. Order in time as the service may take 15-20 minutes more than usual restaurant. It has a separate sitting arrangement for some 20 ppl than main restaurant.
After arriving at Pathankot at 7 pm, we headed to Sagar ratna (I chose this based on ratings on the internet). We ordered dahi vada, idly and idly chat, they tasted good. It's 2.2 km from Pathankot Railway Station, it takes app 20-30 minutes (walking) to reach there from Railway Station. The staff here is friendly and the restaurant is located at a good place and has good atmosphere inside.
Very excellent service... We have ordered food for our fast while travelling from vaishno devi to Delhi by swaraj express.. These guys delivered delicious food in our couch on time. We people have lost our hope that whether we can continue with our fasting or not, and randomly tried Sagar Ratna's number and they help us in continuing our fast with the amazing & delicious. Thankyou so much guys... Food is awesome & for gajar ka halwa, I don't have words..

Good authentic south indian cuisine. Tried the four feet family dosa, served with chutneys, sambar, etc. Filter coffee was ok, could be improved further.
cash counter person told bravely without shame ki sambhar kal ka hai....
dont waste valuable time health and money.
Take strict action against that cashier.
