A nice family restaurant in ponda. Ambience here is great. Service and staff is very friendly. It delivers some lip smacking food which is mouthwatering. Good place for a small birthday party.
Decent food at decent rates. The place has sufficient seating capacity and ample of parking at the ground next to it. The place was called red chilli before and it served awesome malaysian chicken. I don't know if they still serve it. Their butter chicken and fried rice was a good combination. Fish thali at the place was nice too
The place after takeover from it's previous restaurateur has improved remarkably. Right from the outdoor as well as indoor ambience to the decor everything is decently done. Food also is exquisite right from goan to North Indian and Chinese cuisine. Sweetcorn soup is incredible, they've got the taste right on. Tandoori is excellent and so is the fish served. Fresh and crisp fried. Special mention to the kebabs as well.
The main course also is very filling and delicious. Quantity is VFM.
Service is pleasant and efficient. Keen attention by the attendant at replacing the tissues, bottle of water and prompt cuttlery and plate arrangement earns a special mention.
Highly recommended when in Ponda.
I tried squids masala fry. Squids were cooked perfectly with masala. It had perfect balance of spices not too overpowering also.i would definitely recommend this if you ever visit this place

It is a nice restaurant with a pleasant ambience and courteous staff. Service is prompt. Do try the fish thali here. Overall this place serves tasty lunch at a reasonable price.

Been there yday.. One should try their special fish thali.. Stuffed pomfret is just awesome. .. Staff is very courteous n polite.. Ambience is beautiful.. Very very pocket friendly... Easy to locate..
My friend and I came here to see what all the hype was about- You Must try their Fish Thali for lunch which is excellent value for money! They Serve Kingfish Thali for Rs 150/- and Normal Thali for Rs @120/- (Which includes Mackerel). The Place wasn't much crowded and the Service was pretty quick & the staff was very friendly. Best fish Thali I've eaten in Ponda! Highly Recommended

I hv been there wen it ws red chilli...nw they hv demolished it and given a different name. The food was very nice. It is affordable and the place have a very soothing environment. Its very spacious and beautiful. The outdoor garden sitting is the main attraction. Food taste well. A must try restaurant!
Great food! Reasonable prices too, the naan just melts on your tongue and the paneer tikka too was yum....A perfect place to come to along with family...really loved it!!

The starters at The Goan Majestic were delicious, but the main course didn't quite meet expectations. The ambiance is pleasant, and the service is impressively quick.
Restaurant is famous for seafood, but you get veg and chicken options. We tried Goan squid chilli , chicken 95. Both were yum. Nice ambience.
Good food & fast service, prior have been to the place multiple times had chiken biryani and other dishes. This time we had simple ,
*veg kadai which was spicy enough and tasty portion was enough for 2-3 people.
*King fish fry- fish was ok not wow small 4 prices of king fish.
* Chicken rava fry- price to quantity ratio I would say quantity is less and small pieces thin slices.
*Roti- were medium soft .
Overall - i would rate it 3.8 out of 5 overall quality of food is satisfactory and taste is decent enough, ambience is simple service is quick.

they did a good job adding a goan taste to every dish, keeping the richness and taste.
The seafood items were the best amongst all others.

Fish reshad masala was good and also the fried rice was less oily.
The chicken lollipop was another good item and finally the butter garlic prawns which was the highlight

This place is one of the top options if you are in Ponda, it's decent, quiet, clean and has a variety of veg as well as non veg dishes to offer. I really loved the fish, as it was fresh and nicely fried.
Reasonable pricing.
Pretty good food. Veg, Non-veg and seafood, all have amazing taste. The ambience is nice, they have separate rooms for families, drinkers and outdoors for smokers. The staff was friendly as well. Very nice experience.
Nice and simple setup. Overall clean and well maintained place. Not a lot of space but has good arrangement and choice of seating including outside seating.
Food was quite okay, nothing out of the world. Service was quite prompt and staff were cordial and efficient. Price in mid range and could cost you close to 800₹ for 2 excluding alcoholic beverages.
Considering limited options in Ponda town, this gets a 4 Star.
Ambience can be improved in family section. Good food but theres scope for improvement. Overall not at all disappointing.

The Goan Majestic in Ponda Goa is a lovely to restaurant with great food and a wonderful ambience. It has a good open area which can be used for small parties. The cooks are fantastic and you can get authentic Goan Chicken Xacuti and fish curry rice. Best place for great food in Ponda
