Set by the shores of Arekerem Lake near Ponda, Goa, this is a wonderful experience.. Surrounded by lush, forested hills is a 100 acre spice plantation. The staff were warm and friendly. Our guide Karishma took us on a walkaround at a suitable pace for even the older members of our group. She answere
We read mixed review on Google and thus were susceptible about our visit. We went ahead and I must say that it was nothing short of a trip which my entire family enjoyed, across age of 7 years to 42. Our tour guide, Karishma, was just too good and made sure that our visit was not just educational b
Many things to consider. Firstly, it’s not worth it if you are already from a tropical place as people here always get to see a lot of spices being grown first hand. Secondly, the spices are harvested in a short window in the summer. Which means you are never actually getting to see anything first h

Doodhsagar and Spice Plantation trip are usually done together. Tropical Spice plantation is indeed worth visiting. There are so many different species to know . The guide was too good. Enjoyed our elephant ride inside the plantation during our visit to Goa
It was a surprisingly interesting place. I never knew I would enjoy knowing about the spices and its origin. It feels like being on a school trip where we are divided into groups and sent on a experience where we get to see, touch, smell and feel spices. Pros- 1. It's feels like being on a new world

PS. DO NOT TOUCH THE STRAY CATS THERE. I got bit mildly. Other than that (which was my fault), the place is quaint and really beautiful. Got to learn a lot about spices. Even during peak day time it’s pleasant due to shade from the trees. The food is good as well. For the cost, it’s a steal and you
