Susheela Palace bar & restaurant located in uppar bazar ponda. It's a proper bar and has now been converted into a restaurant by making AC, Non AC & Family section.
The ambience of the place is decent, it's just that the place is a bit congested because of the less space.
Staff is very cooperative and helpful. Coming to the food they serve a variety of dishes that includes Goan , Chinese & North Indian food.
We tried their King fish , Veg Mix sukkha & chicken biryani. The taste of the food was good and very reasonably priced.
Overall the experience is good.
More of a bar than restaurant. Not suitable for families but okay to visit with a friends group. The ambience is dark and like a typical bar. The waiters also aren't the proper restaurant trained ones.
The food is great so that makes up for the rest of the things. Have tried their apple chicken, salt and pepper chicken, special biryani, tandoori 65. All of these were great but special mention for tandoori 65 which was pretty unique. The service is a lil slow. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity they serve.
The tall, slender server at AC Dine-in is quite rude to patrons.Personally, I think he has zero empathy for his clients. Kindly replace him.
Amazing food. Loved everything that we tried there. Even the rates are pretty reasonable and worth it. The Apple chicken is a must try. You won't get fish thali here.
This place has good food, especially, Chicken Dry fry, chicken fired rice, apple chicken. Quantity is better than most restaurants and prices are reasonable (around 180-220 on average). They have separate bar and family dining sections so can get best of both worlds. Don't expect much on ambience. Staff is polite.

This is a small Restaurant and Bar in Ponda town, Goa. But their food is so excellent, tasty and quantitative. Service of their waiter Mr. Chethan is really commendable. If order in advance, they will purchase any type of fish for us and serve. Their mixed vegetables fry is a special dish. I would like to visit this restaurant again in the next visit.
