Wow! What an amazing place:) The women in the restaurant are really friendly, the whole environment and vibe is so nice and the food is delicious! And last: I really love the context and ethical roots of this place. I think this could be very valuable in many more places!

Eat My Cake is a pretty little cafe in the colorful streets of White Town. It's a cafe that's run exclusively by women, for all the right reasons which kind of drew me a lot more to the cafe. Their baked goods are delicious and the staff is cheerful and very helpful. They've got some wonderful seating options too, colorful trables on the cobbled pavements and one rooftop arrangement too,almost making you feel like you're in Paris.
Here's what we had-
• Cinnamon roll- loved the cinnamon and sugar on the roll. Something you can't go wrong with
• Lemon pie- classic lemon curd with a beautifully cooked tart shell, with a side of whipped cream to balance out the sour element of the curd. Loved it!

The French Quiche (Mushroom) was very tasty. The ambience is very good. Really nice place to have your time alone or with your friends/loved ones. The staff is very courteous too.

Found this cute little place one morning as we were strolling around white town clicking pictures.
Since we went in time for breakfast. We ordered there pancakes and scrambled eggs. The pancakes were delicious and perfect on your tastebuds especially if you went over board with drinks the previous night. The scrambled eggs were unseasoned and could be better.
Later I got to about the initiative on which eat my cake runs on and suggest everyone to do visit it and support its women.
This cute little cafe is located in the bylanes of the white town in Pondicherry. We had the chocolate mousse and the banofee pie kind of desserts in glass post a heavy meal. Both of the desserts were scrumptious and yummy. There is also a selfie booth where you can click your selfies. Overall loved this cute cafe.

After a heavy meal at Le Chateau we came here for tea and desserts. This quaint little cafe in White Town empowers women by giving them vocational training in baking, English, Math & yoga. They always serve you with a smile.
We tried their cheese cake, carrot cake, Moroccan mint tea, fresh watermelon juice, and lemon pie. The lemon pie was a tad too tart for my taste but the rest was pretty good

Best place to have an authentic continental breakfast. Located in White Town, Pondicherry it serves fresh quiches, tarts, pancakes and waffles. A little expensive but the food makes up for it!
This is a cute little French pastry shop with really friendly people serving you. ..you get a wide range of pastries and savouries too...my personal favourite is the mushroom quiche...and not to forget paired with the salad with the balsamic vinegar dressing and sunflower seeds....do give it a try if you are around.
We were on a vacation and got to know about this place through Zomato. We tried their apple pie, fondant cake and vanilla milkshake.All of it was perfection at its best. Delicious! is the word.Must visit place if you are in Puducherry.
Authentic french bakerys, brownies and beautiful lemon tarts. This place right here is a perfect combination of the best pastries, desserts and breads that you can find. My personal favorites were the brownies and lemon tart. Was in Pondi for about 2 days.. and j had these on both the days while I enjoyed their amazing hospitality. I wish I were in Pondi for longer in order to try their other wide range of pastries and tarts ... But all good things come to an end and so was the Pondi trip...

A very nice, quiet and cosy place reflecting the old-world charm that Pondicherry embodies. It has a rooftop seating area that overlooks quaint whitetown. It is small but the staff and the French lady at the desk make you feel really welcome. On the food, I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon. Couple of views -
1. Scrambles eggs was done to perfection and the sausages were heavenly
2. Bacon was over-fried - good bacon should not be fried to a crisp
3. Bread serving could have been more. It was delicious home-baked bread but the serving was tiny!
4. Carrot cake was out of this world.
A must visit place for breakfast if you happen to be be near White Town. And the little white dog of the French lady is super cuddly.
A cosy place to visit. Amazing baked cakes and pies. We had ordered non veg quiche, flourless chocolate cake, lemon pie and almond chocolate cake. Along with egg pie topped with bacon and Orange juice. All the dishes were authentic in taste. A one time must visit for sure.
We visited Eat My Cake for breakfast and well in love with this quaint little place almost immediately.. The ambience on the rooftop is just so pleasant.. We had lovely brioches and home made jam, waffles and something with scrambled egg.They were all so yum :)

went to this place couple of times....seating in the first floor with a very relaxed ambiance with few tall chairs facing the road and a couch. menu selection is very limited and the food and service was good. It's a place where u can have a style of home made food.

We were passing by and found the name quite eclectic, hence decided to give it a try (because any time is great for dessert).
It's a cute and cosy cafe with pretty decor. We tasted some of the pastries as we were in a hurry. They all tasted delicious! Would definitely try out the snacks on my next visit.
A small place, they serve nice muffins and pastries.. Have small deck area upstairs to sit even and you may sit outside.. Prices are a lil on a higher side is what I felt as compare to bakeries in Mumbai Pune.
After searching this place for long, I ended up here at a wrong time; when the cafe was about to close 😓. But the owner still managed to help me with a Caramel-CheeseCake.. Oh My!! As if she knew that Caramel was the flavour I was longing for ☺️☺️.. And that cheesecake was one of the best I ever had (my husband also agreed to this 😬).. I would suggest this as a must try cafe in White Town ☺️🤘🏻

What a pretty place! Oh my oh my!!
Went here for breakfast and was spellbound by the view. The cafe has seating on the roof top with bar stools (DIY from the looks of it) and a view of abundant spread of Bougainville plants right opposite (in 3 colours!!). There are hangings of mini mirror paper hangings and lightings. They also have a sofa for those who want it to be more comfortable. In all, Blissful sight!
We ordered cold coffee, mushroom quiche, waffles and bagel burger.
The cold coffee was delicious! Just the right amount of sugar, coffee and milk.
Quiche was moist, with fluffy interiors and tasted amazing! The cucumber lettuce and tomato salad along with the pesto dressing will make love salad!
Bagel Burger however, turned out to be less of a bagel & more of a burger bun with bland Patty. The only thing that wasn’t nice.
Waffles served with chocolate and honey was crispy and nice.
We got a carrot cake and no-flour chocolate cake packed. Both of them were delicious!
The cafe is priced on the higher side, but I suggest you visit it for the feeling of life it leaves you with!

A small kitchen, went there for the breakfast. They've got pretty decent combo options. We opted for the roadside seating and was a good experience. Food was decent, nothing to complain about, but it did take quite some time.

Eat my cake is such a cute cafe in such a pretty location!! We were here for breakfast and while the menu options were limited we placed our order and went up to the roof to find ourselves a table.. we chose the bar table overlooking the window since the colorful bougainvillea creepers were just so attractive! Another thing you must notice is the furniture of eat my cake! I felt the chairs were primary school chairs and the height was modified and made suitable for adults by attaching it to a stool of sorts!! This cafe has really learnt how to make the best of the resources available!! Also notice the paper holding basket made out of real and Tropicana juice tetra packs!! Very very interesting!
Coming to the food... I started off with cold coffee which was good.. mushroom quiche.. really good and moist! Amazing mushroom flavours and the quiche crust was to die for! We had a veg bagel sandwich which I didn't like at all.. the party didn't have salt and it was super bland! It came with a salad though which was nice!! The waffles were just amazing! Crisp just like how I like it with chocolate spread and honey!! I really liked the carrot cake too.. again moist and subtle flavor of cinnamon but it was a little too sweet for my liking! Flourless chocolate cake was good too!!
Overall a really pretty cafe! Enjoy your coffee overlooking the street and have a good time!! I found it slightly pricey though!
Eat my Cake! is a cute little laid back cafe in French Colony. It’s run by a French woman who has a friendly Lhasa Apso called Mika. It’s a cosy cafe with an amazing ambiance. I had an Athena salad with lemon tart.
Wonderful place to eat delicious cakes and have a relaxing time with friends and family. Been here and would like review this place to be people friendly.

You have to visit this one..A fabulous little beautiful cafe with a message behind. Located in the beautiful white town of pondicherry with a view of the bougainvilleas..the food is excellent here. Everything is so fresh and delicious.the lemon pie is a must try here. very friendly staff and very friendly host. This experience made our trip more memorable. The host explained us about the cafe and I think it's absolutely sweet and beautiful. We also bought some Christmas gift made by handicapped children. It was very beautiful. Overall you should not miss this place if you are in pondy. Highly recommended!

This overlooks one of the french quarter lanes making it a great spot to sit back and watch the world go by along with some delicious pastries / cakes.

Beautiful Rooftop ambience. Great detail in the small things: pink shimmery hangings, grater on lights, baskets made out of tetra packs. A very cute place!

Walking by on cloudy day in the French town is perfect enough. The only thing that can make it better is a little cafe by the road side with an extensive array of desserts! This little heaven that I spotted was called "eat my cake". It's wish was my command- I ordered a piece of flourless cake and the caramel cheesecake because they both looked divine. Thank God their appearance wasn't deceiving! The flour less cake was gooey and fudgy in the centre and the cheesecake was just melting in my mouth. There was a salted caramel on the cheesecake, which helped balance the dish beautifully.
If you don't have a sweet-tooth, the salads and the quiches are just for you. The salads are fresh while the quiches are everything you would want in a bite, a flaky shell with a flavorsome centre.
And if you're not in the mood to eat right away, there's something for you too- homemade jams, cheeses and baguettes!
A treat for every kind of foodie there is.

We tried some of their cake and milkshakes and they were all super delicious and fresh. We loved their flourless chocolate cake..heavenly for chocolate lovers. Reasonable prices. Must try place 👌

Eat my cake is a superb place . Ambience is great the people here and their hospitality is one of the best we have experienced at any eateries we been to in pondi . Their concept a Brain child startup by two French women is that they have given work to unemployed women in the vicinity where they train them to make these lovely dessert and give them a front to sell their food and make a living of it which is simply great 👍.

I won't talk much about the food of this place as we were too early and had the chance to try chocolate mousse only. Apart from that the roof top sitting arrangement is just too good! You will feel like spending the whole day there and just chillax! The home made mouse tasted good. Staff was friendly.
It's a typical french cafe with a small terrace on the pavement like the actual French cafes. Run by a nice and cool French lady this one is a must visit. Easy on the pocket and true French flavours. I've lived in France for 2 years so I know my French food, this one is a must visit while in Pondi..
Good coffees with small cookie on side, awesome view from top. Loved the scrambled eggs with brioche (French soft bread). Egg pie was good especially the crust however egg was dry could had been more juicy. Good place to have some time off on ur own with good breakfast!

An amazing and super cute french cafe located in the beautiful white town. The food here was excellent and all freshly cooked. The drinks also were fantastic. The rooftop location was lovely and peaceful and the service was fast. the cheesecake was excellent. one of the best i tasted so far(this actually made my day) The chocolate tart, and the mousse were very good too. And I loved the concept of the cafe. Keep spreading the good work. All the best!
Amazing place ! You HAVE to go here. I tried the Mango cheesecake and it was brilliant. The best cheesecake I have ever tasted ! The cafe itself is very cute and they have a dog ! It is an Ethical bakery and that just made me love the place even more !
I was drawn in by the place; Their fun logo and bright colors stood out. It was a small place but full of warmth. The rooftop seating was really nice, especially the tall chairs facing the street. It started raining when I was there and it was lovely.
The food is simple but rich in flavors. I was here twice during my short stay in Pondy. I had a mushroom quiche, and a minty beverage on one evening. And their orange juice and egg on pie for breakfast the next day!
Also something I noticed, the staff was all women, and later I read about their bakery and shop, both hire and train local women. I have seen this at one other place here, Kasha ki asha. Super effort, thank you 🙏🏼.

Had been to this place wid my lovely gals..to grab a pastry or cake. It was a old house turned into a nice cozy french cafe, where u will get nice cakes. Ambiance was cool the service was prompt wid a smile. And last but not the least abt the dessert, we ordered Fruit crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream which was awesome. A thumbs up to this place for serving dessert. Loved it.

Went here for dessert , we ordered an apple crumble, a brownie and a chocolate almond pie and a stove coffee. Everything tasted great. The place is quite nice.. They have a terrace space on top with community seating . U can chill with a cupcake and a coffee. I really wish they would have more cake options. The staff is very welcoming and sweet but The menu is wayyy to limited. And as the name suggests eat my cake , we were hoping to really have a yummy cake but there wasn't any apart from a cupcakes and brownie. Hope they introduce more options.
Nice cute little place. We had an Americano , cappuccino and an apple tart. The cappuccino tasted definitely different but not sure I like it though. But their apple tart was really tasty. The apple chunks just would melt down in your mouth.

U cant miss this small cafe situated in beautiful lanes of white town area. The owner lady is friendly and helpful. We orederd tiramisu icecream and carrot cupcakes and watermelon juice. All cakes and icecreams are made fresh evryday. You cant stop yourself from fallin in love with this place.
Quite and calm ambience. The rooftop sitting area has a very nice and aesthetic touch to it. The time we visited we had to wait a lot for our food, which is annoying. But the taste of the food made up for it. Overall a nice , calm experience 👌.

Went here upon a recommendation by the chef at Chez Artizan. The place is run by women coming from vulnerable local communities.
I ordered some French toast with Beetroot detox juice and a croissant just for sampling. Everything was quite delicious! Though the croissants at Baker Street might have an edge over these.

Great vegan🌿(no dairy) options. We had tofu coriander poke bowl with sesame sauce, tropic smoothie bowl. My favorite was the fluffy baguette with an insanely good jam! I have to ask what kind this is...
We enjoyed writing here, good cozy place to study with ac. And the squirrels are so cute, you can watch them outside in the trees :D I don't know if any of the cakes or pastries are vegan... One will have to ask
On my visit to pondicherry this is one of the cafes that I have visited. In one look, fell in love with it's aesthetic ambience. I had breakfast from here, ordered fruity pancakes with maple syrup. The pancakes were super fluffy like clouds and the fruits and powdered sugar garnished over the pancakes were simply additional goodness to it. I recommend this place to all people who are in to small, aesthetic cafes, were you can dine in outside. This is the right place for you.

Service is damn good, but has limited menu to opt from, place is innovative. You have terrace seating (roof top) but not open, it’s the hut roof. The view from the cafe is good. Quality of the food is good, though the quantity is less for the price that is paid. But coffee isn’t that great. Give a try to taste cakes. Menu isn’t that special

Their cheesecake was sooooo good. If you add caramel to it, it takes it to another level. Then Pondy breast is just another form of eclair which is super tasty with chocolate cream inside.
We had their Quiche, another tasty treat. Their pastries are fresh and made everyday. The variety will make you come back again and again to taste their various delicacies.
If you are in Pondy, a must visit!!

The best find of our Pondi trip. The view from the top cafe is heavenly. We spent almost 2 hours looking at the tourists and the lush boungainvillea while sipping our hot chocolate and croissant. Loved the experience.
Small little joint which is capable of giving you the best cold coffee in the town! Perfectly blend of milk, ice, sugar and coffee! Imp very that didn’t mix milk shake and cold coffee ! Thank you for serving perfect Cold Coffee !
