I absolutely love this cafe. This is a very famous cafe situation on heart of pondicherry. The staffs are very friendly and polite. Ambience is just soothing gives very girly and cute atmosphere. Perfect for a bunch of young groups. Do visit this cafe once in a life whenever you are in pondicherry
Situated in the heart of the market, this place is a must-visit for the reason that they have beautifully decorated interiors. We had a hop at this place for coffee and trust me, the coffee served was delish. It was Christmas time when we visited and every inch was decorated beautifully with a friendly staff who recommended for the best coffee to have.
I wish to visit this place again to try their food.Would visit soon again.
Very beautiful place. I went in the evening And the rooftop was a beautiful experience. Ordered fries and the quantity was good to fill two stomachs. The beer was a bit overpriced. But considering the ambience i would not say its a big a problem.

Unexpectedly, the ambience was really pretty. It's a fully love themed cafe, where even the stairs are themed.
The staffs were really sweet to us. They changed one of our orders at the last minute when requested.

One off the bucket list finally! Heard so much about this cafe, badly wanted to visit since I've come to Puducherry. Just went there for a quick dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken burger and mushroom pasta.
The cute decor and soothing music makes an utterly pleasant ambience. There are quite a few games like Scrabble, ludo, disgusted friends, etc. that you can play while waiting for the order. If not games, then you can indulge in the amazing array of magazines available there.
Service was quite prompt and the staff is really courteous. Also, it's easy to locate as it's just situated in 5 mins walking distance from the rock beach.
Highly recommended if you are in the Whitetown area.
We had just arrived at Pondicherry in the evening and our hotel didn't have a functioning restaurant, so we decided to venture out. This was the highest rated cafe/restaurant that was nearby, and within 5 mins of walking distance. So we went there, opting for the rooftop ambience. The setting was semi-cosy and cute, chairs were comfy, it had a bar/smoking counter(though we didn't use it) and we looked through the menu for a dinner like ensemble. Chose Mediterranean Platter for a salad, and Mushroom in white sauce homemade pasta with chicken add-on. Also a lemon spearmint mocktail. Man, was it delightful! 😁 I absolutely loved the presentation and the taste was splendid! It closes by 10pm, so we were the last customers, but they didn't rush us at all. Service is very good 👍 the lemon spearmint mocktail complimented very well with the food. I would recommend everyone try it at least once! The homely feeling added a nice start to our happy experience in Pondicherry!

The most prettiest and cutest cafe in Pondicherry! The ambience of this cafe feels really cozy and welcoming. I really loved the vibe of this place. It's soothing and calming in a way. The cafe is well decorated with pretty furniture and the walls are painted in pink and teal.
We had the following dishes -
Hot Chocolate - We went here for breakfast and this hot chocolate tasted so good to have first thing in the morning. Totally blissful.
Grilled Cheese Sandwich - Whole wheat brown bread with mozzarella, basil pesto, tomato and a portion of fries. A very healthy sandwich and a tasty one too.
Fried Egg Omelette with bread - omelette made up of 3 eggs with whole wheat bread and a side salad. A very basic breakfast option with no fancy things in the plate.
Build Your Own Burger - I always love my burgers with loads of stuffings and I don't really mind if they turn out to be sloppy ones. PY Cafe had this build your own burger thing and I didn't think twice before going forward with it.
Chose a chicken patty with lettuce, mushrooms, onion, jalapeno topped with mayo and bbq sauce.
The buns are black in color because of added activated charcoal in it. This also comes with a portion of fries and side salad. The burger turned out to be really tasty. Please do have this dish.
Verdict - A really good place to chill with a very nice and cozy vibe. Loved the interiors and the food as well. The staff is courteous too. Full marks in all the domains.

I am in love with this café. The ambience of this café is very inviting and cozy. You can enjoy a good and wholesome breakfast as well as a great evening with your fellow friends. The staff is very welcoming and take good care of their guests. I have tried their Eggs Benedict, Ragi Waffles with Caramelized Bananas, Scrambled Eggs, Alfredo Pasta and PY Café Salad. Everything was tasty but the Eggs Benedict and Ragi Waffles stole my heart. The best part is that their Eggs Benedict is served on waffles too 😍 They also offer alcohol on weekends. PY has to be the prettiest cafe I've visited in a long time. It seems of positive vibes, a cafe dedicated to spreading love. Beautiful decor with antiques all around and colors which will put you in a good mood.
The food is equally appealing. The eggs Benedict are unique, served on waffle bread. The coffee and hot chocolate arent bad too. The service is quick and friendly.
Special mention to the hand written letter that they deliver. I wrote one and gave them to mail it. Let's see whether it is actually delivered but full points for the idea anyway. A must visit cafe if in pondicherry!

Just love! Their desserts are to die for, but could've been a tad bit wallet friendlier.
The blue and pink pastel colored gate stands out in an otherwise busy road. The small stair case which is all pink with name plates on them welcome you into this dreamland themed cafe.
As you climb the steps, you will find mirrors on your right and some whimsical artwork on the left.
A mailbox fixed on the pillar welcomes you into the joint. Everything is pink and blue. It literally felt like walking into a fairyland. There is rooftop seating too, all covered in pastel with a neon Love sign spread across the ceiling. I think they also have live music too during the weekend there. The food was awesome but I was more in love with the fairytale themed ambiance.
An ideal time is to visit during the evening to enjoy a glass of wine...

Food (5/5): Tried the Moroccan platter, fried eggs and spinach, penne Arrabiata and build your own burger (BYOB). Everything was cooked to perfection and had a unique taste. Will definitely mention their homemade bread which gets served with almost all the dishes.
Ambiance (5/5): if it were upto me, I would give 500/5 to this place. Immaculate usage of blue and pink color to set a bohemian theme. Old style furniture painted white to complement the cutlery. This is a must visit place as far as the aesthetics are concerned.
Service (5/5): Nothing to complaint here as the service was on point. Very courteous and welcoming staff which was ready to provide an unforgettable experience.
Value for money (5/5): Price for 5 was close to 1500 which is very economical for the kind of experience and food one gets there

This place in Mission Street is the best cafe I've been to in the city. The ambience is just too good, makes you want to go here over and again. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Also, the food is pretty great. And they serve amazing cocktails during the weekends. This Saturday they had a party where the music was so groovy and I enjoyed myself a lot and met many new people. If you're in Pondi don't miss out on this one :)

Their terrace seating is adorable with quotes and bed to literally chill their for hours with your favourite people. They have ragi waffle which I tried for the first time. It's a must go place if you're in Pondicherry.

A place where you would feel relaxed n free, You can bring your pets if you want, smoke, they serve liquor on weekends. Each wall, step and decor is filled with positive quotes.

I had Tuna sandwich which was made out of their own in-house baked bread which was so good and healthy, they put olive in the dough which made the bread outstanding, but the edges were not as soft as I like it to be (because it was toasted) but wasnt hard either. But still the sandwich was 4.5, fries were perfect 5, How often does one find a heart shaped sandwich?
I also ordered a mango cheesecake which was delicious and hands down one of the best i have had till date.
Another outstanding thing was that you can write love letters to your loved ones ( friends, family, special ones) they will get it delivered through courier.
They should may be add some books, that would be awesome.
This place has amazing decor. It also has various card/board games which you can play. The menu style is different. PY Cafe have their own community that connects with emotions and love. This is something unique.
The menu is nearly 100% french, the dishes are super authentic delicious.

They have mind boggling hot chocolate! One of the best I've ever had.
Summer Cooler was a combination of cucumber, basil and some mint. It felt literally what it is, summer cooler.

A peaceful cafe in the centre of the town. When we went there were only desserts and drinks. The ambience was good, we ordered the drinks and it was good also. They are short of staff so need to wait for quite a long time. Have interesting indoor game sets to spend the waiting time.

This cafe is located in the center of the white town. Pastel color vibes serving delicious white sauce mushroom and prawn penne pasta. Ended up scraping the whole plate because food was so delicious. Price for a plate was around ₹500 may look overpriced but price matches the flavors and the quantity they serve you in the plate.

If I could give it 10/5 I would. The absolute best services I have ever had. Absolutely delicious, the best food I've in a long time hand down. You can really tell They use quality ingredient. Even down to the Egg benedict, just hits different than anywhere else...pastas And Beef fillet was phenomenal 👌...
Mr. Chef was great introducing himself to everyone who walked in and making sure everyone was happy 😊.
