This is a nice little cozy place with nice ambiance which we selected for our lunch on the very first day of our Pondy visit. It's located on the Dumas Street. We were overwhelmed by the courteous staff who helped us choose the dishes to satisfy our culinary desires. We ordered:

The food here was really good and tasty. The quality of food is extremely good. The staff was very courteous and kind. They helped us in selection of food as well. Overall the experience was a lovely one. Highly recommended for tourists who want to experience French cuisine.
We had breakfast here. The croissants were really fresh. The omelette and coffee was well done. The server obliged to our request for a separate serving of chicken sausages, which was otherwise not there on the menu. Overall a good experience.

We had been there for breakfast., and the it was just so good, beyond our expectations.
We had reached there before 11, so had limited options only.
We ordered the following :
1) Le Petit-déjeuner 01
2) French Toast
3) Baked Beans
4) Toast Bread
The best amongst these were the heavenly French Toast, and the fresh crunchy Croissant that came in the Petit Déjeuner.
And the rest of our order was also delectable and appetizing.
The management was really nice and helped us with suggestions to visit around in Pondicherry and advised us also on where we could purchase coffee in the local market.
So guys, in short, if you're in Pondicherry, you've to, just have to be at Les Saveurs and indulge in their food and hospitality.
And obviously, get clicked with the ambience.
The decor outside is just picturesque.

The very first Cafe i visited in Pondy. located in the center of Dumas street, is a place where you find varieties of food, I have never been to France, but it sure did give me a mild experience of the french.
The way they cooked, everything tasted awesome. I took a dish from the main course, which i can't spell of course, is a treat for anyone, and one more dish with shrimps in it, just awesome.
Make sure you are going in, only if you are very hungry, cos the food they give is quite a load.

This was another pick from our list that we had made before heading to Puducherry. It is located at a walking distance from Seaside Promenade beach. They have a small seating space with 7-8 tables in total. Speaking of their food, it was lip smacking for seafood lovers like us.
We had ordered:
1. Citrus marinated baby octopus - This was dish had a perfect citrusy touch to it, just about right to give it amazing flavours. The octopus was well cooked with all the gravy seeped inside it. It was served with a side of stir fried veggies and a bowl of extra gravy. A must for ordering upon visit.
2. Crevettes saute au paprika - This dish had some amazing pawns cooked in a smooth gravy, a side of stir fried veggies, some herb rice and a bowl of extra gravy. The prawns were fresh and were served with the skin. The dish was garnished with some herbs which gave it a good flavour. We had to order an extra portion of the herb rice as the gravy was delicious. Recommended to order.
Overall it was a nice place with friendly staff.
One of the restaurants to go to, if you are visiting Pondicherry. First, we went ahead with a Chermoula Spiced Chicken Tender. It was a lovely dish with mixed spices. Along with it we had ordered a Sprinkling Blue and a Macaroon which were good. After that we went for the Sea food Pasta(Spaghetti) with mushrooms Alfredo sauce. The pasta was good but we felt the taste was a bit blant. The taste of sauce depends from person to person. Along with the pasta we had ordered a spiced cider punch was a bit different than the usual beverages and it was good too.

The service here was quick and good. It was full crowded because of the weekend. The gremolata crusted grilled fish was yummy. The truffle crepe was good too.
Extremely delicious food. You will be spoilt for choice here! They have everything from tartines to pizzas and pastas, to crepes and sandwiches and desserts. Cheesecake was melt in the mouth. Do visit if you love French food.
We went to Les Saveurs on our first night of being in Pondi. And it was an amazing experience with amazing food. Staff is courteous and listen attentively to customers. The food selection will spoil you. We finally settled for the Vegetable Pie on Potato Skin, Grilled Fish and Pink sauce Pasta. All the items were really good and enough quantity for 2 adults. Very nice ambience also.
Saveurs was recommended by a friend who had visited earlier. Nice ambience, great food choices and flavors esp for a foodie like me. We had the Calamari Cigar which was excellent. The Crunchy Fish Fillets were cooked to perfection. The pan grilled Tiger Prawns is a must have dish for any prawn lover! Overall great experience and a must visit place if you are in Pondy and want to eat good French / continental food.

Came to saveurs after reading some reviews, wanting to try good French food. Unfortunately, there was some mix up in our orders since the place was packed, being a weekend But the service staff was great and quickly sorted the confusion. Food is excellent here. We had the Crusted Grilled Fish and the Drunken chicken Steak and both were exceptionally good. Guess it explains why this place is full, especially on weekends. A must try when you visit Pondicherry.
Saveurs was an accidental discovery. We were keen to try out good French cuisine since we had heard so much about Pondy French food. While strolling thru White Town one evening, we saw this cozy and elegant looking place. Went in to check if it has good veg options since all of us are vegetarian. They have good variety in veg food. Ordered the Mushroom Olive Crostini and Mushroom Cheese Bombas for starters. Both good. For main course, the Vegetable Pie on Potato Skins was excellent. But the best dish for me was the Penne in Pink Sauce and exotic veggies. Very flavorful sauce. The mocktail that we got - the Miami Pinacolada was good.

With White town blooming with new quirky restaurants this one is another pearl in the necklace.
While we had heavy brunch before visiting this place, we still went for Chermoula CHicken and some pawns and Mojito to cool us against the weather. Except the Mojito other two items were equally savoury. Car parking is an issue here.
One of the best places for your food trail in Pondycherry. I had a red snapper fillet suggested by Ambu, the attendant at the restaurant and it was beautiful cooked with lots of seafood flavors. Totally recommended
After a long run at rock beach ,decided to visit this place for breakfast. Had read reviews but did not get time to visit for lunch or dinner. And since it was my last day at pondi and given the proximity of saveurs to Rock beach ,breakfast seemed like a good option .the jog had built quite an appetite so I decided to eat heartily .ordered a portion of fruits ,masala cheese omelette ,some croissants ,mushroom and olive crepes .the crepes were delicious and melt in your mouth .croissants were fresh and light .and the masala omelette was cooked just right with the perfect seasonings. I am finicky about how I like my eggs prepared. And it's so easy to go wrong with eggs .but the staff was extremely attentive to all the small details and very courteous too .all in all lovely place ,great service and nice location. Would love to visit again for a proper meal .the lunch/dinner menu did look quite inviting.
Came to Saveurs on a weekend trip to Pondicherry. Had read reviews about the place and was keen to try it. We straightaway decided to order mains and asked for the day's specials- Chicken Cordon Bleu and Grilled Snapper. Both the dishes were outstanding. For desserts it was freshly made waffles and chocolate sauce. They nailed this too. Being a weekend it was crowded so service took some time. But the food was completely worth it. Will definitely recommend to visit and will definitely visit again.
Was in pondicherry on a short break with some friends recently. A friend had recommended to try Saveurs. We ordered some drinks and some chicken starters while deciding on the main course from a very inviting menu. Zeroed in on the seafood platter and the Saveurs special pizza. Loved the food and the overall service and ambience. Seafood was fresh and flavorful. The place is a must visit. And definitely do try their Dark Chocolate Fondue for dessert. Will surely visit again.
Nice selection and menu of French/ European food. We were walking around White Town and spotted this tastefully done up place. Ordered the Bruschetta Samplers and Crunchy Fish Fillets and loved them. Main course was Drunken Chicken which was totally spot on in flavor, portion and presentation. We finished up with an impeccably made Apple and Cinnamon crepe and a Short Machiato. Perfect end to an excellent meal. Lovely place and great service!

The service here was quick and good. It was crowded bearing in mind it's the weekend. Our server helped us with good recommendations. We tried gremolata crusted grilled fish it was yummy the portion for well sized. Then we were recommended to try crevettes saute au paprika and it's a 100% must have. The prawns were cooked perfectly its was juicy and the gravy was spicy delicious. This was all for the mains. For starters we had the calamari and it tasted fairly decent. For drinks we had the margarita and iced tea standard taste.
A place u must eat if u want authentic Italian food near rock beach, Puducherry. Though the place is small but it was a nice experience

Never miss a visit to Pondicherry without tasting some European cuisine in White Town Pondy. Actually visited Les Saveurs by chance while visiting the rock beach and this was indeed an awesome chance that we had visited Les Saveurs with family. Kids really liked the starters and the main course from Garlic bread to Pasta to Pizza. My favourite was "Gremolata Grilled Fish" - Garnished with a fantastic collection of herbs. Try the chicken Sausage Panini too and most importantly ending with a waffle with chocolate sauce - Just Yummy.
Loved everything about this place. The food, the taste and the service. We ordered prawns, roasted chicken and lamb chops. Surprisingly the chicken was simply the star. We also ordered the dessert and drinks. Even though we were the last one out none of the staff rushed us. Overall I would recommend this place highly for your visit to Pondicherry.

One of the best preparations of chicken I've ever tasted. Perfectly cooked chicken in an amazingly aromatic white sauce stirred up with vodka sided with mashed potatoes! Undoubtedly a must try if you ever step in Pondi!

Nestled in Rue Dumas, a Comfortable place with good food. We went for our Breakfast and we were not disappointed. Thought the breakfast menu is limited the food that they serve is up to the Mark. One of the best croissants in White Town. We didn’t get the chance to try the lunch and dinner menu but the food selection was good. Should give it a try. One of the best breakfast places in White town.
Authentic French cuisine food is available here. Very nice and calm place with a lovely ambience. The waiter is very polite and friendly. The quantity of food served is very good.

A perfect classical taste of European and French good. This place has a slight Indian touch to it when it comes to its ambience. The food was exceptional. We ordered for ratatouille stack, cotelette D'angelo agneau, and Pene pasta in white sauce, fennel cherry tomato soup, lemon grass chicken broth, garlic bread . The only drawback was the pene pasta was very dry, and the garlic bread could have been little better. Otherwise it's a must to go place. Happy with the services and the food

Was strolling around the picturesque White Town area when i happened to come across this elegantly done up resto-cafe. Decided to have dinner here and did not regret it! To begin with the ambience is warm n welcoming with very creatively done wooden interiors and gorgeous wall art! Being vegetarian, i had my reservations on choice of dishes that i would have to choose from. But was happy to see so many vegetarian options. Ordered the Veg Pie on Potato Skin which was delicious! Baked spot on! And d pink sauce spaghetti with veggies was wholesome n flavorful!!

One of the best things that I admire about the cafes in Pondicherry is their ambience. Les Saveurs is one of such beautiful cafes that gives you a calmness along with excellent service and good food.We had ordered a veg blossom pizza , a pink sauce pasta, lemon water and cappuccino. Discovered this place through zomato. It's not very often that you try absolutely new things and get mesmerized but then found this place. Took bull frog( very effective 😋) , a black current and pineapple crush( mama miaaa), beef salad( very juicy vegies and refreshing), smoked salmon with spinach ( Holly good), drunken chicken ( sounded more interesting than tasted.. Could have been more juicy.. And finally came the steak with black pepper and corn sauce.. Grilled to customer's taste.. It was more than just delicious. The last bite too was to savour. A bit high on pocket as it's a new establishment, but amazing to the tongue 😁

Pondicherry, specially the White Town area is a gourmet's paradise with some amazing restaurants located close to each other and serves some of the most wonderful French and Local food. Les Saveurs is one the first restaurant that we tried for a dinner on our trip to Pondi. Being close to our hotel it was an amazing experience with amazing food. A definite visit required here on your trip.
Location: It is on the Dumas street in the White Town area, very close to the beach front. But do some google maps search if you want to drop by.
Parking: There is roadside parking available for 2 and 4 wheelers, so will not be an issue.
Ambiance: Like other restaurants in Pondi, it is quite small but beautifully decorated in french style. Evenings will be the best time to enjoy here with all the lights on.
Seating: It's basically a cafe style seating, so small chair and tables arranged quite close to each other. So if you are in a big group or have ordered quite a many course in food then accommodating all can be a problem.
Service: It is generally a full house in the evenings, so expect some waiting time for your food to reach on the table. Orders are taken and suggestions are given while ordering which is really nice. Staff is courteous and listen attentively to customers.
Food: The collection is food is quite varied. We ordered Vegetable Pie on Potato Skin, Grilled Fish and Cheese Pizza. All the items were really good and in sufficient quantity for 2 adults. Presentation was also beautiful which made our evening.
Price: All the items in the menu are moderately price as compared to other restaurants in the White Town area. An average bill comes anywhere around Rs 1500 for two for a three course menu which is OK considering it is in the more expensive area of the town.
Overall a must go restaurant if you are in Pondicherry. Take ample time in your hand to slowly enjoy the surroundings and the food. A definite recommendation from my side. Go and you will not regret.

Must try Baguette Sandwich – Fresh Tomato, Cucumber, Lettuce, & Cheese.
Croquet – Grilled Vegetable; Slices Bread toasted with Butter & filled with Grilled Vegetables, Cheese, & topped with White Sauce & Gruyere Cheese baked & served.

Pondicherry is known for its French cuisine and as tourists we were excited to experience it personally. "Les Saveurs" which literally translates to "the taste", gave us full European feel right from it's dishes to is ambience.
It's a pretty famous place and rightly so, because the food here is amazing, and the servers are professional.
We ordered mushroom and olive crostini, ratatouille stack and winter breezer mocktail. The crostini starter was the best.

We ordered Juicy Julep and Black Currant Pineapple Crush which tasted extra refreshing in Pondi’s afternoon heat. The mocktails menu had quite a bit of variety. From the main course we had Poulet Baguette Sandwich and Eggplant galette and both were very filling and delicious.
Loved the ambience especially the butterfly transparent curtains and in fact changed places to be near the windows.
The service was prompt and the waiting staff friendly and courteous.
Washroom was spacious and clean. That matters.
First evening in Pondicherry and we were just walking through White Town when we bumped into this little restaurant. There was a 25 minute wait but we decided to stay and I’m so glad we did.
The mint mojito was so refreshing and so was the Watermelon cocktail we ordered.
The thin crust pizza tasted exotic and so did the spaghetti. Even though the chicken steak turned out a little sweet for my taste but the entire experience was amazing! We even dropped by next afternoon for a quick mojito.

Headed here for breakfast since it was close to the place we stayed. Since we were late, the Breakfast combos got over by then. So we ordered pancakes, French toast, ham and cheese omelette. All tasted good. We also tried Vietnamese coffee and Cafe latte. The Vietnamese coffee was brilliant and a must try here.
Very polite staff, good ambience. It's a small place but well placed near to the rock beach. Good food I liked the grill fish and loved it. Little bit on the expensive side but it's worth the price..
We went for a trip to pondy and wanted to try pondy’s best restaurants and we finally decided to go for lunch to this little nicely lit place.. the interiors were good and so was their staffs. We ordered Chermoula spiced chicken tender for starter and it was too good. We ordered one veg Alfredo penne type pasta and was ok ok types. We ordered herb rice with white wine stew and it tasted so yummy. The choco crepe was also a tasty one.

The best steak in town hands down. The place is always crowded so you might have to wait a couple of minutes but the manager is extremely courteous. If you want to have a steak and wine dinner, this is your go-to place.

Went to this place around 12pm luckily got the table as it was empty....from what I've heard this place is hard to get table. Yes it's true. Within 10 minutes this place was started swarming with groups of ppl and few were waiting outside. If you want to have table without fuss I suggest you to go there before lunch hours
Coming to order got one bay breeze cocktail, ratatouille crepe and crevette sauté au peprika. I'm always biggest fan of prawns couldn't resist myself when I saw tiger prawn serving with menu ordered immediately when I laid my eyes on that.
I'm alcoholic intolerant can't give review about cocktail my brother got that. Coming to crepe it was loaded with delicious veggies and good portion of salad. Crevette is served with four jumbo prawn, herbed rice, blanched veggies and sauce. Prawns were fresh, rice was delicious and sauce is best of all. One of the best places in town, must visit when you're in pondicherry.

Have been to pondy 3-4 times and this one was in my list of to-visit places, but got a chance this time around. The place looks classy, with a decent small bar set up. Came with 4 friends and we orderd decent amout of food ranging from salad, couple of startes, mains and the pizza. The food was on point, wholesome, flavours and the presentation was well taken care of. Though not a big fan of beetroot mayo,but i loved it for a change. The staff is good, so is the manager who was kind enough to make a small change on our request to their usual salad. End of the day, we left with good food and a happy tummy!!
I enjoyed almost all the items I have ordered. The chicken pizza was really good, as well as the Steak Au Poivre. Drunken chicken steak was good but a Lil tangy than usual. Appetizers were good as well. Ambiance has a classy french vibe to it and service is up to the mark
A variety of French items are available; but the quantity and service aren't satisfactory. One would expect proper serving and a friendly attitude from the waiters at the price that one pays, but the restaurant fails to score there.
The ambience is quite nice, but one might find the place a bit crowded.
We chose this restaurant to end our trip to Pondicherry. And it was an excellent choice. Our servers were polite and actively gave us suggestions. The food was just scrumptious. The interior wasn't of my taste but doesn't matter because the food is the highlight of this place.
We had drunken chicken steak and gremolata crusted grilled fish. The flavours were unique.
Must try, this place is highly recommended.

Had ratatouille, baby octopus and blackened shrimps with mango cherry dip all of which were a delight to taste.
In alcohol, options were one of the cheapest in white town per peg.
Overall value for money.

We went here on the second day of our trip after exploring all other options around White Town. By far, this was the best dinner we had and with service excellence. They are very welcoming and warm at heart unlike the other restaurants where everything is just professional.. We ordered Cheese Garlic Bread, Crunchy Fish Fillets, Spicy Cheese Balls, Veg Blossom Pizza & Pink Sauce Pasta. All of these were really good and the owners themselves prepare most of their dishes and the food is excellent.. it is a MUST GO when you are in Pondicherry!
The experience of this place was really good. Starting with the atmosphere, the temperature inside the restaurant was perfect for the heat in Pondicherry. The food was really yum, but the only problem was the quantity( felt the quantity should have been a bit more). Most of the dishes me and my friends had were very tasty. 4/5, must try 👌.
Ps: The mac and cheese is a must try 💯

So far THE BEST STEAK I have ever tasted..,,
Meat was well cooked with delicious flavours… vegetables were sautéed well… mashed potatoes were too good… the sauce was excellent…. Main course was brilliant…..
fish fritters was good
Tequila shrimp, the quantity was too less….
Over all a great experience….
Hats off the the chef Shanmugam, who made excellent main course…..

The watermelon cocktail was okay but the beef steak was just beautifully cooked. Better than any I have had in Bombay.
Our server Prosper (not sure if I heard right) was very courteous and recommended just the right things.
Wanted Crepes but they didn’t have it. Ended with the three layered cake which was just so so.
We as a couple went for a dinner at this place. The ambiance has nice positive vibes inside. Not a large place but have several wooden tables to have meals. The interiors gave a look of being a French style restaurant. The Menu was quite elaborate.
The service was quite efficient.
We ordered Steak Au Poivre & Straganoff along with red wine & Jäger bomb. The steak was quite juicy & soft (done perfectly medium rare). Straganoff was also quite yummy.
In all we spent a rememberable time having a scrumptious meals & wine.
This place is highly recommended if one is looking for steak.
Amazing taste! Decent service. Small joint and simple interior. It’s a popular french restaurant and is totally worth it! I can vouch for Spinach Croquettes, Cheese Bombs and Pink Sauce Pasta. We had Pina Colada and Sangria and it was good too.

Very close to the Rocky beach, white town opposite to the spot Bar and adjacent to dumas guest house . A small & petite place but quire cosy. The bearers were very polite and helpful and ready to suggest , since I went on a weekday in puratasi, got a table for 10 with ease. Quite quick with their service , presentation was very good as you can see from my pictures , they also have a good selection of wine & liquor. Mocktails were good too - pinacolda was amazing , a real must try.

Boston chowder soup, pizzas, seafood platter , lobster thermidor, chicken mousakka, garlic cheese bread, above mentioned ones definitely get a 5*,
Though a ll on the expensive side, it's value for the yummy food they serve.

I went for an early dinner. The ambience was very beautiful and cosy. The service was also really prompt and professional.
The beef steak (Steak Au Poivre) was delicious and finger-licking good. The mashed potato was very soft and smooth and was amazing with the beef. One of the best I have had. It's a must-try.
Blackened shrimp with Mango Cherry dip was also delish. Such a creative dish.
Calamari cigar was okayish, was a little too salty.
Ratatouille and Vietnamese coffee was also really good.
There are many good vegetarian options and a bar counter with good options of cocktails and mocktails as well.
Amazing presentation on all dishes!
A MUST-TRY for an AUTHENTIC french cuisine experience.
Maps says opens at 11, but the kitchen started functioning only at 12:30. Food was good though. Not enough staff to manage the crowd on weekends.
Service was prompt and good. We tried the bruschetta samplers - they were all good except for the pesto topped one which was a bit salty to my liking. The pink sauce penne pasta was good and my kid loved it. The roasted chicken steak with mushroom sauce was also flavourful, chicken was perfectly done. Loved the shallots drenched in the creamy mushroom sauce.
The cranberry based cocktail was excellent. The bullfrog cocktail wasn't as strong as any drink with an LIT base should be but it was good.
Ambience is okay, the place is a little bit congested because they have a small dining area.
This cafe is nice in terms of food and seating arrangement. The drinks have variety but on taste are average.
The place is soothing and music is always there.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. Faced a little issue regarding too much time they have taken to deliver the order.
Otherwise, it a recommended cafe to visit and enjoy in Pondy.

A small cozy French restaurant located at one of the corners of the French colony/White town. Initially we were planning on visiting Cafe Veloute which is one of the famous cafes in white town area, but unfortunately even at around 3:30 in the afternoon, the place was busy with no table available. So we decided to look around a bit for another French restaurant and came across this one.
The restaurant is not very spacious and has a very limited number of tables. The lighting is a bit dull with a chandelier at the center. The food menu has a decent number. of options, especially from the French cuisine. The drinks menu had a good variety and prices were okay if not cheaper.
We tried the winter breezer which is a mocktail. It was good enough, but could have packed more punch, tasted a bit diluted. To be a bit adventurous we tried the Champignons Farcis Au Beurre D'Escargot which was mushrooms stuffed with a mince of snails, shallots and garlic. The texture was crunchy, not very chewy, and the cheese on top complimented it well. Not an extraordinary dish though, but if you'd like to try something new, go ahead.
The second dish was Crevettes Au Paprika, which contained 5-6 pieces of tiger prawns which were simmered in a paprika sauce that tasted spicy, and was served with herb rice and grilled vegetables. The prawns were slightly overcooked, but the taste was on point. It gets a bit sloppy, so be mindful of that. Overall the dish was good, slightly pricey though. We also ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta which was perfect, tasted really good, not too dry and had enough chicken on the plate.
The service was good and quick, and the staff was humble. You can also have drinks along with some good French food. I wouldn't say that the place stands out and is a hidden gem, but of all the hassle in the other cafes around, you might just want to have a peaceful dining experience here, with a lesser crowd, quicker service and very much closer to the rock beach.
MUST VISIT PLACE while in pondicherry. Amazing delicious finger licking food!!
Mushroom bombaz, chicken goulash and chicken Mousaka are a must try.
