Had a very good experience with my family. The ambience is subtle. Food quality is great. The only place which was open till late in the area while others got closed early.
Arabian,Lebanese and middle East lovers u must try here! I have ordered their grilled chicken so many times.....it was Soo yummy, juicy and very tender.....
And recently I visited their restaurant....we ordered
1.chicken shawarma.....the base roll was really soft....stuffing was really flavourful and good.....
2. Afghani BBQ.....it has a different flavor in it...and it gets accompanied well with mayonnaise...
3. Chicken dum biryani.....wowww! It has everything perfect....the spiciness, taste and flavor.....
4. Hummus....it was Soo guddd....
Really the food was very good and tasty... 👌and responding very well for all the queries. Quick order confirming and delivering so we are comfort with Zaffron...

Perfect place for a Non- veg meal. The taste, ambience and the services are all top notch here.
I have been to this place numerous times each time I try different dishes and to my surprise everything till now has turned to be an absolute delight.
The dragon chicken served here is among the best in the city.
The biryanis, kebabs, tandoori dishes are a must try.

I usually used to have barbeques and grills here , but this time for a change I hade #triple.szhcewan fried rice and it is really good nd worth fr money. It is a platter consist of noodles ,fried rice and szhcewan chopsuey too ,simply saying it is a triple delight ...!!

Biriyani taste was up to the heaven.service was too friendly and the naan is good.disappointed a bit with the mutton masala and the soup is good.hemanth is helpful for us.
One of few places in pondy where u get methi malai matar....Food is tasty and affordable.It sells the best chicken manchow soup in pondy.It has huge options to choose starting from Arabian dishes to authentic north Indian cuisine to Chinese cuisine and even variety of shakes and fruit juices to select for....Some of the all tym favorites other than the ones mentioned above are kolhapuri chicken,butter chicken.

Hi! My friends and I visited this place oh so many times mainly for the shawarma. The shawarma here tastes really good and i like how they serve it with carrots, chilly and cucumber. I haven't tried the other dishes here but my friends have and i haven't seen them complaining about them. The ambience is not so good but decent. Its a nice place to fulfill your shawarma cravings. The place is easily accessible and is open till late in the night.
Instantly fell in love with their Biriyanis.. specially their yummy Mutton biriyani !! Also their rates are very reasonable. The service and ambience was also great.

Zaffron is special in delivering good taste in chicken shawarma mostly people here taste chicken shawarma. We can expect variety of chicken dishes.
Ok food.. poor washroom.. too dirty place to wash hands also.. they gave us burnt barbecue chicken but later changed it on request... quite spacious place.. good for non-veg food.

You wasted your time here in pondy if you didnt try Zaffron's chicken shawarma! Its really good! :)
Oh and the triple schezhwan froed rice(i dont know the spelling:#) , is really good, cause its a platter that contains three things, rice, noodles and chicken...all in schezwan style!:)

Shawarmas are unbelievably awesome in terms of the taste and quantity served. They serve a traditional grape juice which I also highly recommend!

The best restaurant in town for shawarma and falooda. Arabian salad and soups are my favorites. Their menu food varieties go longer than any restaurant in town.

Came here twice. The first time I tasted some amazing food. We had the Afghani chicken and baby corn Manchurian. Their speciality lies in Mediterranean cuisine and you should stick to that. I was satisfied with what we had. The chilly baby corn Manchurian was hot and spicy. I just love it. It was amazing.
The second time I visited, I had their chicken shawarma plate. It had a huge filling. But I somehow couldn't enjoy it. It tasted weird and a bit bitter. I don't know why, but the taste was just too bad. It was not expected from a restaurant of such hype.
Talking about the decor, it was simple and nice. The staffs can speak good Hindi and English, so the communication gap is nil.

A crowded diner with awesome range of non-veg food.I had my dinner over here with my group and next day we returned here for lunch as every one liked the food.A little improvement is required to reduce the wait time for the customers.That was the only let down but it was worth doing.
This was the nearest non-veg restaurant from our hotel, which is what made us visit this place for dinner on the first night of our stay in Pondi. But the tasty food and reasonable rates of this restaurant made this our venue for lunch & dinner for our entire stay. The North-Indian dishes are pretty decent and tasty, while they offer a wide variety of Arabian cuisine too. The Shawarma, which I tasted, is not too bad, though a bit oilier than it should have been. The Biriyani is also not too spicy and quite light & yummy, as preferred by North Indians (as opposed to the spicy, gravy-added Andhra Biriyani). All in all, a nice restaurant, specially if you are staying at any of the nearby hotels.

This is a decent restaurant, not to expect something classy.! As you enter you can see their shwarmas and their chickens being cooked. It has a seating of 50max. Try their biriyani, tandoori and grill chicken, fried rice, chilli chicken, butter naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka. Some Other dishes weren't good.

This place was a breath of fresh air, one of the very few places in Puducherry serving Halal meat. Pretty neat & clean in terms of ambience, has 2 sections but both were not even half full on 2 visits which were made to relish their offerings.
Two things that are praiseworthy about this place are food of course & the honesty of the person who takes the orders(I think his name was Rajesh, but I may be wrong). Before I forget about it, the place offers free wifi also :)
Ok, lets move to the honesty of the staff before the food. Will give the example of the one that surprised me the most. I asked the guy who was taking the order 'what would be most fresh, chicken, fish or prawn at that point in time'. Pat came the reply 'sir, even though we are in Puducherry, fish & prawn we serve here are frozen, only chicken is fresh !'. I was taken aback but I appreciate the honesty with which he replied.
Moving on to the food. Across 2 visits, here is what we relished at the place:
Pepper Barbecue Chicken
Whole Chicken marinated in spices out of which pepper is the dominating one, this was wonderful. Well cooked chicken, fall from the bone types with that peppery flavour was amazing.
Grill Chicken
Again whole chicken marinated in spices, can't exactly pin point an overpowering one, but together they created a delicious flavor,
Khuboos
Arabian Phulkas if I can call them, are very similar to phulkas except that they are made with maida. These were pretty good & i gulped down 7-8.
Chicken Tikka Masala
Well Cooked chunks of chicken tikka in a tomato based gravy. The recipe was very much modified to cater to the local palate, was not like the ones I am used to having, but wasn't bad nonetheless.
Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice
One of the best Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice I have had. Schezwan flavor was just right & chunks of chicken were plenty & the rice was well cooked, this was a winning combination, loved it.
Prices are on the 'just right' range, neither high nor low, so definitely value for money considering the quantity.
Will rate the place a 4 on 5 & will surely re visit when I am in Puducherry again.
One word: SHAWARMA. Easily the towns best. Although may not be there at all times. The other flood is also really good. Nice place for a family meal. Service can be a bit sloppy. The food quite compensates for it.

We went here for lunch and didn't have to wait at all. Shawarma isn't available during lunch. But apart from that, loved the food! The grills and barbeque are average in taste and priced accordingly. A must try would be the kozi dajaj. Negative reviews on zomato made me a little sceptical but the food is delightful. I cannot emphasise this enough, YOU MUST TRY THE KOZI DAJAJ if you visit.
