I was strolling near the beach and started to go towards my hotel for rest. That's when I saw this place and decided to try it out with wifey the next day.
It's quite near the beach and the first thing you will notice here is the radium type wings drawn on the outer wall.
Seemingly interesting, we decided to explore it further.
We went in and checked the menu and we're a little disappointed by the limited menu first. The staff then bought us few drinks to taste from the options available and it just blew my mind.
Just like their names, I was filled with love, joy and happiness. Now I was unable to choose between the limited options since we had limited appetite and wanted to try something.
So after some thinking, I finally went ahead and ordered the joy combo and it was yummmmm.
I will surely recommend this place to anyone visiting Pondicherry.

A really vibrant café that you can not miss.
The previous day while walking back home from Café Des Arts, we stopped by to click pictures by the graffiti wall. We were curious and we ended up going there for an early breakfast.
Most places do not open early so we had to wait for quite sometime but we were in no hurry.
They presented us with their juice testers. Very interesting names they had given to these juices. We tried
Hope Tea – Iced tea with rose petals and honey
Love Alchemy – Watermelon, Pomegranate, Guava, Mint, and Ginger
Joy Booster – Cant recollect what it had.
We called for a Mediterranean Grilled Vegetable Sandwich Combo which came along with a portion of cottage cheese and olives salad, and fries.
We called for fresh Watermelon and Basil Juice and a Hope tea with the sandwich.
We paid approx. 800 Rs. for the above.
Pros – Ambiance, Food, Portion Size, Natural Sunlight in the café ( made my morning )

Hope Cafe is one of your go to aesthetic/instagrammable cafes that serve some really good food. The service here is prompt and the staff is really courteous and polite. What's even better is the complementary drinks, namely love,hope and joy that they serve that are really refreshing flavours shots of iced tea. Thoroughly enjoyed having them
Coming to the food, I ordered a-
• Quesidilla- it came with a bellpepper and corn filling with looaaddss of cheese, super delicious and filling. Easy on the pocket too!

I loved how they welcomed with elixers Love, Joy and Happiness. I liked the detailed simplicity of the menu. But wait before ordering we spent so much timr looking at the paintings. The wall paintings were so colorful and artistic. The ambience itself will lift up the mood. And the food was delicious. Tiramisu just melted in my mouth.
Its an amazing experience. Right from the welcome drinks to the ambience to the colourful stones, the art, the greeters and servers. Everything is so happy and positive. The food and drinks everything about this place screams 5 star. Keep doing the good work
This place is very colourful and serves delicious food. Ambience, service and food everything is just perfect. Staff is very friendly and helps you to select best dish from the menu.

Right from the ambience to food to service, everything was just perfect. We loved the concept, and we felt warm from the moment the welcome drinks served. I had the most delicious smoothie bowl, and my friends had the most amazing spaghetti pasta and sandwich and fries. The dessert- orange flavoured chocolate icecream- recommended by the staff was amazing. And we went back home with some cool pictures in front of the graffiti walls. In a nutshell- it was an experience to remember.
The Beautiful Art work brought us to this café and the place is certainly amazing to eat as well.
We were offered welcome drinks which was quite unusual but the drinks were great.
We ordered a Cajun Grilled Cottage Cheese after seeing it in the must try section and the dish was heavenly.It was very delicious.
The ambiance, the food and the service, everything was great about this place.
Hope cafe which is situated in white town is a recommended place for all the people who visit pondicherry.
The ambience of this place is eye-catching and very unique.

If you are looking for a cute yet vibrant cafe for candle light dinner in Pondi, then hope cafe is the place for you. The theme is very attractive, very dim light inside perfect for candle light dinner.
I tried lasagna and Quesadilla Omg both were so damn tasty. Oh wait, they serve complimentary drinks as well, 3 drinks named - Love, Joy and Happy. That's really cool
In the end tried their in house cake, which was finger licking good. So rich in nutella, cheese and choco chip on top. Definitely try this if u r visiting.
The cafe an has interesting concept. We were also served welcome drink shooters which included rose drink, mint cooler and iced tea. The food was fresh n hygienic and the portion size was good too. The staff also helped customize some of our order and that was very helpful. Overall, a good place.

Beautiful art work & yumm food
I accidentally discovered this cafe. New cafe with great psychedelic art that gives Goan vibes. Loved the coffee, sandwich combos with generous amount of salad, fries and juice. Pasta was loaded with lotsa mushrooms and cheese. Really yummy food! The staff are very courteous and service was excellent. I highly recommended this place.
Certainly one of the best Cafe in town. Somehow I prefer this more compared to Des Arts as well. In the same lane as Des Arts. Better food, better hospitality.

its a neon themed cafe. newly opened. they use to give welcome drink named hope, love and happiness. the concept is attractive. Food is good but menu is not so brief. good for groups also. overall nice experience.
The ambience is very cool and edgy, interesting concept of love, hope and joy and the welcome drinks were really delicious. The masala tea I ordered was perfect and so was the espresso. Overall a lovely experience. Service staff were very friendly. It's a must visit cafe if you're in pondy, not just for the great food and service but also to take some great pics with their black lit art work. Kingston, who took care of our order was very sweet .
The Hope cafe is really good and worth visiting. The only Vegetarian cafe I came through during my Pondi visit. Their white sauce pasta is so good and also the ingredients they use are of high quality and we can feel that while eating. A must recommend cafe if you are a veggie and even if you are not a veggie, you will love the cafe just how i did.
Its one of the best cafe in that area. The painting on the wall are amazing. Painting are made with radium colors and have UV lights which make our attire glow at night. The starters are amazing. High recommendation to try Nachos with Cheese dips.
It's a beautiful place for neon lovers but make sure you wear white or neon colour outfits to take great pics and try to go in the evenings. It's usually crowded so try a lil earlier like 5.30 or 6pm. Food is very much French but on an average as per my palate. Overall good experience.
A place in the middle of white town with a good ambiance and good food. I had their earth pizza and happiness crossiant. Pizza was too good. It is a must try. They have 4 options available for the pizza base. I visited this place in the afternoon it was not that crowded so service was fine.

There are no open spaces, rather a fully air conditioned cafe. Soothing for Lunch hour.
We had 👨🍳Cajun grilled cottage cheese, Mediterranean pizza, lemon soda and few other items which are out of my mind currently🙂. Maybe the above mentioned are the ones to remember w.r.t palette cravings. I really loved the butter endorsed spinach as a part of the Grilled Cottage food item.
The service is okayish. Prices are budget friendly too!
Had the best pizza and pasta in India, no joke. Worth the wait and every penny. Not like other misleading insta-worthy cafes, this is really the best. Absolutely LOVED IT. Everything was fresh and authentic.
Ambience here is too good .food u get here is totally delicious 😋 price is little high compared to other cafe's but overall it was very good experience dining here.

The most aesthetic cafe in Pondi! With good range of Italian food… it’s best to visit at night … the interiors are too nice! Parking is not that great but everything else is nice
Definitely a hope for all. I liked the ambience especially the interior used to make this cafe. Foods are budget and family friendly. Many places to click photos... No doubt and 100 percent recommended.
Hop Cafe is a must visit place in Pondicherry. They have great ambience, wall arts, food, service. I typically visited for deserts multiple times I was in Pondicherry. Must try: Choclate Cheese Cake, Chocolate cake and Tiramisu. Other food options also looked nice but I didn't try so can't comment but it would be surely good.
It is a must try cafe if you’re visiting Pondicherry. Located in French Colony. Great ambiance, neon painting and murals throughout the cafe walls which definitely attracts visitors. Food was good but expensive though. They have a comfortable seating both on ground floor as well as first floor.
I would recommend the wood fired pizza, Alfredo Pasta.
Why 4star? The crepe we ordered was too soggy and too sugary.
Tip-wear some whites or radiating cloths for stunning pictures.
A very artistic cafe with neon theme paintings on the walls. Best time is to visit at the night for the neon effect.
Food is pretty good and the prices are on par with other cafes in Pondicherry. Service is a bit slow and the waiting time for food is long.
This place is a go to place for artists, graffiti and wall paintings are superb, We had Tiramasu and it was so good. It’s so cozy and comfortable seating.
Whenever in Pondicherry, Hope cafe is a must visit. They offer pure Vegetarian, Vegan and Jain Food. We tried their Happiness Sandwich Platter, Vegan Pizza, Vegetable Lasagna and much more. Every dish was so tempting and delicious. The ambiance of the place was cool and lighted up in natural surroundings. Had a great time!
