The food and service were both fantastic. Cocktails were to die for. Within my group, we had the whiskey sour, a classic, the guava martini- amazing š; and the feni basil and the vegan cocktails are the best cocktails I've ever had to date.

Bottlejack Bistro is a place you cannot miss as it's centrally located in porvorim soon after the Atal Setu bridge ends and the ambience with high raised ceiling and a neutral and earthy modern interiors is a place where this fine dining restaurant has raised the notch.
The food was absolutely delicious and continental cuisine is available at this place.
We ordered for starters the watermelon and feta salad which was okay, battered fried squids and Mexican Chicken strips which were good.
The restaurant does serve alcoholic beverages and they believe in BYOB that's Bring your own Bottle. So the mocktails can definitely quench your thirst. We ordered the Dragon fruit delight and the Watermelon cooler which were really good.
For main course, we had the slow cooked pork spare ribs which was divine, stuffed chicken breast with ham and cheese and Beef Stroganoff was good too. We ordered the Chicken Kosha with buttered rice was amazing and something different
The last but not the least, for Dessert, we had the La Rouge and the Vanilla Bean panna cotta which was really nice

Bottlejack bistro, which is situated in porvorim is an amazing fine dining restaurant. Visited this place finally with high expectations and yes they totally lived upto my expectations!! The beautiful interior and cozy ambience just adds to youāre dining experience. They also have a parking space which is one the major proās. The dishes may not be so pocket friendly but are definitely worth the money! For drinks, i tried their mocktails, passion fruit delight and basil lemon smash. Both the drinks were amazing the passion fruit mocktail was a nice mixture of tangy and sweet and the basil lemon smash was just amazinggg it had a nice citrusy flavour and was up to the mark. For starters i tried their paneer tikka, which was amazing and mac and chesse balls, which werenāt that great, expected it to be a bit tasty. Further i tried their hummus with lavash and pita bread which was bang on! The hummus was just perfect!! A must try dish. Spaghetti with pesto cream, which was also amazing it had a nice and creamy pesto sauce and it was garnished with crunchy corn nibbles, the corn summed up the dish and gave it the right amount crunchiness. I also tried their chicken stroganoff with butter rice, honestly had a lot of expectations from this dish but it wasnāt up to the mark. And lastly i had grilled chicken served with pita bread, hummus and pickled vegetables which was again amazing. In short the Mediterranean food here is bang on!! Bottlejack bistro is one of the best places in Goa!
Tried the beef chimichur , pork ribs both were just amazing...the beef was cooked just the way I asked for..the pork ribs were cooked to perfection just melts in the mouth..was not soo happy with the beef bolognese have tasted better if possible ull can work on it.. excellent service by Mr Orlend he assisted us well and knew the menu very well..I would have rated 5 but was really disappointed as I could not sit in the non AC section ..it's soo beautiful out there with such warm lights and great interior.. but as ull were short staffed they said they could not serve us there... overall amazing experience keep up the good work team..
Great place to be at. An urban like feel with amazing food. Very close to Panjim, 20 mins from Baga & Calangute. It has an amazing aray of cuisine to offer.

Situated in Porvorim, Bottlejack is a great place to dine with a perfectly crafted menu and a beautiful seating layout. Lovely ambience, very courteous staff. Butter chicken, Chicken Biryani and the Brownie were the main highlights. Parking space is available too considering itās by the highway. Overall a must visit place for a nice and cozy dinner or family lunch!
Visited this place for lunch. They have delicious food and provide wide range of cocktails. The white sauce pasta with bacon was heavenly. The mutton biryani was also good. A must visit place.
I always wanted to visit this place and when I did. Dint regret it A bit. The good quality was just mind blowing. It was the best beef salad and beef strognaff I tried. The golden fried prawns and beef stir fry was soo soo good. A must visit place. The ambience is also great.

I ordered squids garlic chilli it was yummmmmm. Even their prawns karwari and garlic chilli is too good. Also, they make this homemade garlic mayo , do try it with bread it's nice. My brother ordered stuffed chicken that's his favourite there. A small request please add the Mac n cheese back on the menu itlf possible it's the bestā¤ļø. Overall good experience. Oh wait! How can I forget about the main thing . The DESSERTS ! Guys please do try their salted caramel chocolate tart. It's delicious. See you soon :)

The summer heat is fast approaching and on a hot afternoon, this was one of the most light and comforting lunches I've had in a while. Be it smoked or fresh, I absolutely love Salmon and so when I saw smoked salmon with capers, sour cream and rocket leaves on the menu I didn't hesitate one bit. Every single one of those elements, individually, are my usual favourites, so you can only imagine how ecstatic I was to see the dish on the menu. I decided to pair this with a fresh Basil Lemon smash and it truly was the perfect combo for the moment. Delicious, refreshing and light. I also tried out a couple of other dishes which I will feature on my stories but all in all a pleasant experience as expected at @bottlejackbistrogoa . P.S. If you've never had smoked salmon before I think this is the perfect dish and place to try not just because it's delicious but also because the price point with regards to what they're offering is perfect! šš»
Tried their Dragon Fruit Cocktail, Galauti Kebabs, Wings, Mediterranean Chicken, White Sauce Pasta with Bacon. Everything was really delicious especially their cocktail and the pasta. Rates were quite good in my opinion for the ambience and quality of food they offer.
Also if you're worried about parking space that note that they have an exclusive space available for parking.
First impression was really great owing to soothing and elegant ambience. We ordered 2 dishes and 3 Mocktails
All the drinks tasted good and smooth. One drink Virgin Pina Colada, not on the menu but recommended by the waiter, was really great.
Also, it was the first time i can say:
A Veg dish (Mac & Cheese Balls) tasted far far better than a Non Veg Dish (Chicken, Bacon and Mushroom Pasta).
Would love to visit the place again if i ever visit Goa next time.

I think urban chic (in my mind) when I walk into Bottlejack Bistro. It is a beautifully designed restaurant with a lot of thought process that went into the concept and execution. For starters, the restaurant has a designated parking lot for its patrons. The restaurant is architecturally pleasing to the eye, with a design scheme of grey, metal and wood. The lower level is a lounge area with big couches, board games and books that one can use while just lazing around; while the upper level has tables and chairs with a bar and kitchen. What is also very interesting is that their glasses and plates have the restaurant logo branded onto them. Talk about attention to detail!
The drinks are not an afterthought (as is the case with many restaurants): they are interesting, tasty and refreshing. My favourite drink would have to be the basil and lemon cooler.
My favourite starters were the Smoked Salmon with Sourcream, Capers and Arugula (fresh, light and delicious) and the Beef Carpaccio served with Pesto, Rocket Leaves and a House Dressing. I thought it was super thoughtful of the waiter to inform us that the carpaccio is a raw dish (which we were aware of, but to those who don't know, it would really help).
For mains, we had:
Prawns Aglio Olio - which was a classic and stayed true to how it is supposed to be. DIVINE! Surf and Turf - comprising grilled prawns on a skewer, beef medallions and a light mash. YUM!
Beef Steak - served with caramelised onions along with mushrooms, and mash. DELICIOUS!
The desserts were all good, but the nicest of the ones we tasted was the warm apple crumble with icecream.
Overall, it checks all the boxes for me and the loos are super clean too. This restaurant is a must visit for sure, especially for date night, or the occasional brunch, as they have great deals and deliver good food!

Located conveniently by the highway with a dedicated parking space, it is a multi-leveled space done up in dark, woody and metallic accents with the restaurant up a short flight of steps.
I always get the smoked salmon with rocket and capers; a dollop of cream cheese and it is the best appetizer.
Their spaghetti aglio e olio and apple crumble and very satisfying (generously spray your lemon over your spaghetti). I recommend taking suggestions from the servers on what suits your palate best.
Ask them about their Jack & Chill Sundays (involving unlimited wine and beer pouring on that specific day) too !

Finally got a chance to try this beautifully done up Bistro! I used to always watch it while passing by through the highway before. And I must say this place not only looks good, has amazing interiors, itās well maintained and has decent service.
Brownie points from my side for really clean washrooms and having a bookshelf with some amazing books (they have a collection of Jeffery Archer š) and my friends loved the fact that its BYOB friendly, you only need to make a min. Bill of 1k š¤š„which I feel is pretty lit !
Things I tried:
For drinks I was suggested the āDragon Berryā mocktail (cocktail version also available) it was made from Dragon Fruit & Strawberry and was just gorgeous both in looks & taste! (5/5 - MUST TRY)

-BBQ Wings 3/5, just liked the spicy ones more :)
-Beef Carpaccio, 5/5 it was definitely something different and was my first time trying something like this, and was absolutely in love ! (MUST TRY)
- Watermelon & Feta Salad, another something I had never tried before, was super good again! Perfect for summers ā¤ļøš¤ ( MUST TRY)
2)Mains:
- Beef Stir Fry 3/5, gorgeously served in a bowl, however I found the beef to be a lil hard and chewy, and thatās not how I prefer it.
- Chilli Garlic Seared Red Snapper filet with mash 5/5 (MUST TRY with the chutney they serve with it)
-Chicken Stroganoff with plain rice, itās was my first time again trying something like this, this was major put off for me, just didnāt match my taste buds at all.
3)Desserts:
-The Brownie & Seradura were my fav here amongst all the desserts, however, the seradura was amazing in taste, but had Icecream in it
:( which broke my heart honestly cuz it lost its thickness and consistency and became very runny as the Icecream melt with time.
-Salted Caramel Tart is also nice š

Ambience is 10/10, comfortable seating and option of ac and non-ac.
Had the shish taouk chicken and chilli garlic prawns for starters. The quantity was considerably less but the dishes delivered on taste. Watermelon feta salad was decent however the feta was a little crumbly. The main course was ample in quantity! Had calderata seafood stew, which was full with all types of seafood and tasted like hot comfort food ! Also tried the Grilled Lebanese chicken (it was juicy and delicious)which came with some delicious hummus, pickled Vegetables and pita bread.
For drinks we had a whiskey sour and sangria . Was a little disappointed to know the whiskey sour was made with blenders pride whiskey. The sangria was quite yum...next time please fill the glass to at least 3/4th the glass though since it's a combination of wine and other liquids too so it should be a decent amount of drink poured. .
Would say all in all a must visit for some classy ambience, well plated, and great food! Hummus is a must try!

Over time you realise that there are some restaurants, and their chefs, who never disappointā¦ever. Itās usually for a reason. Be it because of their vibe/disposition, services rendered, quality of end product, or whatever be the caseā¦these places/people are always on point. And such is my experience with one chef in particular, Karlton DāSouza. Bottlejack Bistro has all of Karltonās supremely gifted culinary nous, but while his other establishment (Horizon Grill) is far more relaxed and āunwoundā in nature, Bottlejack Bistro could be virtually lifted and dunked anywhere in New York or Paris, and it honestly wouldnāt be out of place for so much as a second. Getting to the food, to be honest, whether I choose to rate it from good to bad, or bad to good, Iād be just as lost, for it was all exceptionally well made.

Bottlejack is my all time favourite fine dining restaurant. It's one place I feel everything just works out for me. The ambience and food is simply spectacular. They have new additions to the menu. We started out by ordering Spicy and Bbq Wings, Crab Cakes, Twisted Chicken Malai Tikka and Beef Carpaccio. Tried the beef carpaccio for the first time and absolutely loved it. Loved the way it just melted in my mouth. All the rest were equally wonderful.
For main we had Beef Stir Fry, Spaghetti Aglio Olio with prawns, Chicken Stroganoff, Chili Garlic Seared Fresh Red Snapper Filet with lemon mash and olive tapenade. Even though the Stroganoff had plain rice I throughly enjoyed the Stroganoff itself. Beef Stir Fry is a burst of flavours and a constant. Most importantly don't miss out their Dragon Berry Mocktail/Cocktail which is not on the menu. This signature drink is an amazing combination of dragon fruit and strawberries.
Moving on desserts were definitely the best part. We had Tender Coconut Pudding, Serradura, La Rouge, Salted Caramel and Chocolate Tart. Their Tender Coconut Pudding was lovely.
Note: Every alternate Sunday Bottlejack presents Jack & Chill - unlimited crafted buffet with unlimited pouring of beer wine/beer for Rs. 1,499/- +taxes. So make your reservations this Sunday.
Plus ample of parking space is available which is missed quite often.
Love love love the food !! Itās so close to my house but I wonder why havenāt I visited this place more often. We ordered prawn fry, mutton galouti kebabs, watermelon feta salad as starters. Mutton biryani, spaghetti in pesto sauce, chicken Lebanese style and stuffed chicken breast in mains. There wasnāt even .01% of dislike in any of the dishes. Everything was so super delicious. 100% must visit and am definitely going back more frequently now!!
With a good vibe, polite staff and some amazing grilled meat options this is for sure a must try place!I tried the Gulauti kababs, Mediterranean grilled chicken and la rouge for desserts. They also serve lip smacking slow cooked pork ribs which is a must try. To try out great stakes this is the place to visit.
I love this restaurant the most! It's the most decent restaurant having a pretty ambience. It gives the cozy Vibes and the food is finger licking delicious.For starters we had nachos , cheese stuffed balls and Mexican chicken which was so tasty! For main course we had chicken biryani, grilled chicken skewers and chilli garlic prawns. The food quality and quantity both are amazing! The staff is friendly. They have a lot of dessert options. All the desserts are a worth trying. And not forgetting the delicious beverages!

Everything from their appetizers, main course , to their ambience is curated very well. The interiors are very well done & chic. I particularly loved their desserts not only cause they are so Instagram worthy but also because of the taste. I'm glad they also serve alcohol now which makes it even better. Located on the highway from Porvorim to Panaji, this restaurant has ample amount of parking and very chic interiors with bright lighting. It is mostly decently crowded and can be great for quiet family dinners. We ordered spicy chicken 65 from appetisers, penne pasta with chicken and mushroom, and flame grilled mediterranean chicken with hummus for mains, and La rouge for dessert. Chicken 65 was very spicy but tasty, penne pasta was good and mediterranean grill was good but the hummus could have been better. The serving size is a bit small but the taste compensates for it. La rouge stands my favorite and is a must-try. It reminded me of patchi chocolates which you find in middle east. I was happy with the service and food and would rate Bottle Jack Bistro 4/5.

Finally got here after a gazillion notes-to-self everytime I'd drive past. Visited early for a Sunday lunch. Parking is in an empty plot next door.
The lower floor would've been a great beer hall, but alas, NHAI issues. Saw a few board games -- dunno if there's an evening scene downstairs. Dinner happens in a chic upstairs area. EVERYTHING was spot-on, even down to the Lime-soda. The Basil Lemon Smash mocktail I tried was refreshing.
For mains the Herb Crusted Red Snapper was perfectly done. The Beef Stroganoff was also very well made. The mutton in the Spicy Mutton Curry was tender. And the Mutton Biryani was moist and delicious. We enjoyed EVERYthing and it was platters-wiped-clean for all of us. For Ponjekars/Panjimites looking a great place to entertain/dine without venturing through the hustle of the coastal area to find good food this a great place.
Went to BJB with family and was extremely impressed. The decor and ambience is tasteful and cozy. The service was impeccable right from the security at the gate who greeted us with a huge smile as well as the service in the restaurant.Ā
We called for two mocktails- the Day of summer and litchi freezer. Both were very refreshing. Since we weren't too hungry, we jumped to the mains. Ordered the chicken stroganoff, stuffed chicken breast with ham and cheese, clams in white wine and cream, kheema pao and nasi goreng. Each dish was full of flavours and sufficient for one person. For dessert we called for the la rouge and another chocolate dessert..coco something. Both were very delicious. BJB was overall a delightful experience that was reasonable on the pocket too. It left us wanting more and I'm waiting to go back to try out the rest of their menu.
Great food, great ambience! If you love eating Continental and Asian cuisine, give this place a try. It's just of the Porvorim highway easy to find and has ample parking on the side.

Finally tried out this place! The ambiance is very elegant and classy with AC/non-AC section. You will also find lot of books and board games here. We ordered day of summer (recommended) and balsamic martini(unique,good) for mocktails. For starters we tried garlic chilli prawns(heaven;must try), crab cakes(good), batter fried squids(perfectly cooked;very tasty) and chicken cafreal tikka(good). For main course we ordered chicken stroganoff with mashed potato (good) and chicken Milanese (chicken tasted perfect; didn't like the sauce which tasted bitter). Ordered La Rouge for dessert which was just perfect melt-in-your-mouth dessert! Their service is remarkable and pretty quick. Only negative point is that the food quantity is less. Would love to revisit the place!
Have been wanting to come to this place for a long long time, and finally made it today. I regret for not having come here earlier. This is my new favourite place. Their pasta in white sauce was amazing! Infact not just that, all their food is delicious. The service is quick and wow, what an amazing staff! Definitely a must visit place.

Bottlejack is a Very eclectic place. First the decor very tastefully done. They have a downstairs with tables weāll spread out so that your conversation is not overheard and there is a very nice party area. The food again well thought out. It is a mix of cuisines from all across so you will never feel left out. Interestingly the menu has versions I had version 4. This is because the menu keeps changing at regular intervals. Last but least the deserts are a must have. So if you want a chilled place to have your meal with friends or family a must go place.
Swanky. Minimalistic. Modern. Scrumptious. The best adjectives to describe the experience at this establishment. There is no alcohol served as it's bang on the highway however one can still be accomidative enough to have a requested good time. Check it out on your next visit

Visited BJB for lunch, the place as such was quite deserted, well I think that's expected over a lazy Saturday afternoon.
Their service, the food is remarkable.
Most orders were on our table within like 10-15 mins of the order.
The Sea food cream soup was great. Day of summer is the most refreshing drink on their list.
All appetizers are very well done, we tried the beer battered squids, prawn karwari. Highly recommend the squids here.
Their main course is fine I'll say, we ordered the Fish potli with coriander rice, pan seared leg of chicken, chicken stroganoff with butter rice, flame grilled Mediterranean chicken
Of which I would really recommend the pan seared chicken leg, it's juicy, lots of veggies, and the cilantro lime sauce only adds to the delight.
A word of caution, the portion of meal in each of their dishes serves a min of two to three, quantity is huge!
Desserts- 5 stars!
Each of it, La rouge, salted caramel and chocolate tart, tropical delight, vanilla bean panacotta - all fabulous, some of the finest desserts in town, and la rouge tops the list.

Really Love the place and the food!
Fo starters, we ordered the garlic prawns and their new edition Beef Carpaccio. The flavors of the garlic prawns were on point! It was fresh and really well cooked! My better half really loved the beef Carpaccio! It tasted like a beef version of sushi to me! (Not the biggest fan)
For mains, we ordered Grilled Medallions of Beef (rare) and Seared Tenderloin (medium). It was just awesome!
And to cater to our sweet tooth, we had the Layered chocolate mousse with almond crumble. It's a really overwhelming chocolate dish for all you chocolate cravers! Try it!
Also, their service was pretty fast as well! (It was on a Thursday night though) :)
Last night visited this place second time. Ordered spicy chicken 65, Mediterranean flame grilled chicken, penne pasta and La Rouge for dessert.
The food here is really awesome, all dishes are cooked to perfection. The taste, quality and presentation is way above the local standard.
Plus the service and ambience makes it a really good experience overall.
If I nitpick the quantity of the appetizers are on the lesser side.
And yes their La Rouge was something to die for. It reminded me of this delicious Patchi chocolates.
Redefining BYOB š Be your own bottlejack. Great decor here + extremely good service! And the food was delicious, right from our starters to our main course š Only wish the portions were a little larger, to be honest. Nevertheless, highly recommended for a celebratory meal!
From the talented mind that gave us the amazing Horizon Grill in Candolim with his signature fillet steaks & Beef Wellington among other delights comes this fine-dining establishment called Bottlejack Bistro. I went there for lunch yesterday. Ate the Spicy chicken 65 for starters and the Peri peri Chicken for lunch, washed down with a virgin mojito. Desert was a brownie with ice cream. Full marks to Bottlejack for this upmarket dining experience.

The ambience is really unique and lovely, service was great. Each dish we, a group of 6, ordered was done well. Only disappointment is the quantity of the dish. The desserts we ordered were really good, la rouge vanilla bean panacotta and salted caramel and chocolate tart.
This is new place with a cool upmarket ambience and the food here is definitely the highlight. We tried out the Karwari prawns. Warm beef salad and the flame grilled Mediterranean chicken. The prawns were very light and perfectly cooked with curry leaves. The beef salad was a delight with a generous amount of beef and rocket leaves. The chicken was also delicious with the hummus. For dessert, the salted caramel chocolate tart was a let-down with a bite sized portion and an expensive price tag.

Since we were bored of visiting the same old places in porvorim, we decided to visit this new place, which has opened 6 months ago. Since we were visiting this place on the weekend, getting a reservation in the A/c section was a bit difficult. Although somehow the restaurant manager got a table in the A/c section. They also have a Non A/c section, which was totally empty when we entered the restaurant. The ambience of the place is modern and swanky. We started our meal with a watermelon cooler and fresh lime soda to start our meal. Post this we ordered the Goat Cheese @Bruschetta for starters (the Goat cheese with caramelized onion with fig jam was a excellent combination, that tasted delicious). For main course, we ordered the mac & cheese and grilled chicken cafreal (both the dishes were cooked to perfection and we're tasty and delicious). Since we were full, we decided to have the vanilla bean pannacotta with raspberry with passion fruit coulis (the pannacotta was made and freezer to perfection but the presence of raspberry and passion fruit coulis was too overpowering. The overall dining experience at this place was a delight. I would surely want to visit this place to try out their other dishes. The pricing of the dishes is pretty reasonable and economical. The service was prompt and courteas. I would also recommend this place to my fellow zomatians.
Superb eclectic cuisine, amazing plating and heavenly flavours. Must try the pork ribs and karwari prawns. Their desserts are really worth trying. La rouge is worth a try
The ambience is simply superb. We ordered the mushroom risotto, grilled Norwegian salmon, and seared tenderloin with mushrooms and onions with a side of mashed potatoes. The steak was seared to perfection, while the mushroom was wonderfully creamy and easy on the palette. Words fall short of describing the grilled salmon; the salty vinaigrette complimented the well seasoned salmon, and top it with the mango salad.
It's a cool place for a luxury dine-in. This place is recently built and is at immediate corner of the bridge. Must check out this place once.
The ambiance is amazing with the kind of decor and space utilization done. Must try the Ginger Lemon cooler it tastes great. Avoid - Veggies & tofu salad

My mum and I treated ourselves to dinner on Mother's Day. The restaurant and menu are tastefully designed, it has both an relaxed outdoor area as well as a stylish indoor dining area.Ā
From our Starters, Prawn Karwari, Watermelon Salad with Feta cheese to our Mains, Grilled Salmon and Fish Potli. All in all, we had the freshest food, impeccably prepared and beautifully plated.
The service was timely and the staff was extremely friendly. A must visit restaurant by a very accomplished chef! Cant wait to returnā¦ Thank you Karlton for the experience!!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that provably the best food I've eaten in goa for a while...
This new addition to the eating out scene in goa is such a welcome surprise. ..tastefully done up, expansive and with the byob concept...bottlejack ticks all the boxes..
add to this impeccably good food and uve got a winner...The starters were fantastic taste wise but a little bit of a let down in quantity especially coz they're so good...The beer battered prawns,the beef satay with spicy sambal and peanut sauce and the goat cheese bruschetta are a must try....The mains were equisite as well...The braised beef, beef tenderloin succulent and mouth watering characteristic of karltons fare...even the pasta with bacon and mushrooms was a worthy mention
The piece d'resistance however were the desserts...I could easily go countless times just for the desserts itself..the tropical delight with the passiofruit curd, the red rouge and the salted caramel chocolate tart are a must try...do not leave bottlejack without sampling the tart....guaranteed to order another one...
I shall certainly be visiting bottlejack multiple times with higher expectations
At Bottlejack Bistro - attention is given to the finest details. The interiors, minimalist theme and the art space take are very new to Goa. The music seems curated specially and so are the books in the rack. They have a large collection of board games as well. The food is excellent and service compliments very well. I think the menu also keeps changing every month. Ā I just loved the BYOB ( be your own bottlejack) concept. Overall its a must try

When I think of a perfectly cooked steak, I imagine every bite to be juicy as well as full of flavour. The temperature just right so that it's not to chewy but perfectly cooked leaving you wanting to have another bite till you can have no more. The wide range of starters chicken, beef and vegetarian are not just mouth watering but perfect and if you ever want to try something new you can always ask the chef for a special.
With the ambiance of a place that screams out that they are here to experiment with food and provide you something breath taking you will surely not be disappointed.
And the dessert!! Well u just outta try that out š

Really loved the food of this place. While they have a good selection of books and games, the vibe of this place was a bit dull. Maybe some live music would have set off a better mood.
However, It's still quite suitable for any occasion - celebrating a family birthday, toasting with your partner at date night or just catching up with your friends at dinner, this seems like the place to be. Since it's right on the highway, alcohol is prohibited. But don't let that dampen your spirit for they let you carry your own alcohol. They also have a pretty good selection of mocktails. I tried the Fruit Punch & finished it way too soon!
Food to try:-
1) Chicken BBQ wings (Starter)
2) Pan seared Salmon
3) Slow cooked Pork Ribs
4) Beef Salad
5) La Rouge (Dessert)
If I had to choose a favourite dish I think it would have to be the Pork Ribs. It was tenderly cooked to perfection & went so well with that BBQ sauce. I would highly recommend the dessert, La Rouge which was kind of rich chocolate mousse with hazelnut and a vanilla panacotta filling. The presentation of that dish was also impressive.
Overall, this place is a must try for all foodies. I only hope the quality of food & service never goes down!

And then satisfy their consumers with their authentic flavours and presentation of the food.. Truly an experience!! Trying their pork chop is a must!! We loved this place. On the main road from Porvorim to Panaji, we had always eyed this place. When my wife wanted a lunch date today, we thought of going to this place.
We ordered for Garlic Chilli Prawns as the starter, which, quantity wise, we felt was not sufficient to be shared by two persons. However, it tasted delicious. On the hindsight, the quantity actually enabled us to enjoy the main course and the desserts without feeling stuffed.
For main course I had chicken breast stuffed with ham and cheese which turned out to be a very good choice due to it's taste and succulent nature. My wife had Grilled Norwegian Salmon. The mango basil salad that came with it was a pretty unique side and we were pleasantly surprised that the two can go so well together.
The dishes were innovative in terms of the ingredients put together and when it was time for desserts, being impressed thus far we decided to simply go for their latest addition - the La Rouge - a chocolaty mousse with a red coating and the vanilla panna cota. They did not disappoint.
All in all a really nice lunch - the price was reasonable for the amazing quality.
Most likely to visit this place again.

We visited Bottlejack Bistro last week, for the first time and had a wonderful experience in all respects. The ambience feels classy the moment one walks in through the gate, but remains welcoming and elegant no matter which of the sitting zones you choose.
Our group, with consisted of 2 couples and 2 teenagers selected from offerings across the menu and were almost uniformly pleased (and in many cases, delighted) with the dishes served up.Ā
Our starters included the chilli cheese toast and the seafood cream soup, and the main course covered some brilliant Kingfish, stuffed chicken, Pork Spare ribs (which were sublime) and Grilled Pork chops ! And their Slow braised beef & Grilled beef medallions are reason enough, for riots to break out - should there be more misguided (and unconstitional) attacks on people's right to eat the meats of their choice !Ā
The staff was well trained, extremely polite and unfailingly attentive to the slightest request from any member of our table. Service was reasonably quick as well and well in keeping with the quality of food served up.
On the whole then, Bravo to the Bottlejack Bistro Team ! Well done !

It feels more lovely at night with the wonderful lighting. The decor is minimal.
For the starters we were served 'Masala Peanut Chaat with yoghurt & tamarind sauce'
a perfectly prepared appetizer.
Besides, we had Samosa Pinwheels with date & tamarind chutney, Classic Chicken Tikka,
Naan, Paneer Stir Fry, Chicken Jalfrezi,Ā Steamed rice & salad, Ice Cream, Dark chocolate Mousse.
The service is attentive and polite.

This is a new restaurant in Alto Porvorim and off we went to celebrate my Dads birthday. No elevator and Dad had to climb up the stairs though they have a section on the ground floor which was closed when we visited. Minimalistic decor and exceptionally good food is a combination all restaurants must stick to and Bottle Jack did it to a T. Warm and attentive service by the Manager and the staff. Goat Cheese Bruchetta with caramilized Onion & Fig Jam, Orange & Chilli Grilled Prawns, Surf & Turf, Slow cooked Pork spare Ribs (Cooked to perfection), The softest and very well done slow braised Beef and to finish it all with a Yoghurt Chocolate Dome. Outstanding food. Not very cheap but well worth the money.

Excellent design, architecture and interiors. Good food well presented and good service... Till the point that i asked if Service charge is mandatory. And I was told that it was.. hence asked for the manager.. and was told he is not there (5/11- 3pm odd) but then the waiter went back with the bill. And could hear them speaking loudly amongst themselves that the charge is mandatory. But when he came back. The bill was corrected. .. apart from the last part of the dinning experience.. the food, moctails were good and would recommend the place.

This is like a hidden gem !! Hadn't heard much about it. Living in Porvorim,I should have visited the place a lot earlier!! We just decided to try it out, just for a change..Great food !! Compliments to the chef's..we liked everything we ordered while we were there! Some dishes we ordered were Chicken tikka,Karwari prawns,Chilli mushrooms with coriander,beer batter squids,Garlic bread, Chicken tikka masala, watermelon &feta salad, etc(too many to jot down!š). Desserts were also very nice indeed.. We had Serradura, Chocolate mousse & warm brownie with icecream..(yup..a lot of food!! What can I say...we're a foodie familyš). This is a place I would definitely recommend to everybody.. Think they need a bit more marketing though...very low key kind of place, even though it's's right on the highway going towards Panjim (area is called Porvorim for those out of state). Bottlejack has demarcations that cater well to its customers. The restaurant has an area where you can develop your creative side and talent, and promote artistic engagement or just chill on the comfortable sofas with board games and a library. And of course thereās the area dedicated to diners where you can enjoy a variety of fusion food. For large or private groups thereās the Meeting Room which can be customised according to the guestās requirements. Besides, there is an Art Space intended for art aficionados and a store just in case you want to buy some memorabilia.
Based on an industrial theme that has plenty of metal exposures and use of light, it gives you that ultra modern sophistication along with the feeling of being laid back, working well for those who like either, or both.
Excellent food at a fairly decent price and don't forget to try the deserts. The only down side is that they do not serve alcohol but I guess you could carry your own ;-)
The food is really delicious and filling. I had a stuffed chicken and it was enough for a person. The price for alcohol is decent. The restaurant is clean and the staff was really nice. I had a good experience.
Good food and the ambiance is great! The pastries from the patisserie, The Laced Apron, within the premises is outstanding. Definitely grab a couple of those after dinner or on your way out.

Situated on the busy Porvorim road, parking space is not an issue which is a big plus.Excellent food specially enjoyed the chicken Stroganoff ,stir fried beef ...however pork ribs were a little chewy. Portion size is sufficient for one person .
