Exceptional fish dishes served at this restaurant! The freshness and flavors were outstanding. The attentive service enhanced the dining experience. A must-visit for seafood enthusiasts seeking a delightful culinary journey.
The fish thalis here are always an absolute delight. Fresh and tasty fish. Love the preparation and quality. Great ambience and food.
The overall taste of all the dishes is very good. Service is quick . The only thing that i would suggest to improve is the remaining food which is to be parceled is given in plastic bags instead of foil/containers .Hence remaining food should be packed in foils or containers.
Looking for an authentic Goan food experience in Porvorim. Look no further... this restaurant has got it all. From food to ambience and service. This place made it to my top charts from my very first visit.
- The food quality is very good and with reasonable rates.
- One of the best seafood restaurant.
- Usually crowded in the afternoon, so I suggest you to reserve a table.
- The fish and prawns were fresh and very well cooked.
- Ambience is ok, with cosy sitting and fresh air ventilation.
- Overall nice food and a the staff was also good at service.
This place offers amazing seafood at a decent rate compared to others.
Quick service and fresh seafood are where they shine.😁
Beware of the dog ☠️
A local restaurant, usually packed during lunch hours, serving some delicious Goan seafood dishes at reasonable rates along with some North Indian and desi Chinese in the menu too.
Tried out the fish thali and the sai Krupa special fish thali. The special thali came with 2 additional dishes that’s squids chilli and crab xacuti. The normal fish thali came with Rice, fish curry, tisryo/clams, beans bhaji, salad, pickle, solkadi and rawa fried modso fish. Loved the authentic Goan fish curry, the rawa fried fish was fresh and well marinated with a good portion size. This thali was definitely worth the money. An extra serving of rice charges for Rs 40, that comes along with 2 small portions of fried fish. Loved the rawa fried mussels which was crispy, spicy and delectable but the squids recheadh was a miss. Definitely a good place to try fish thali
So I was asked to visit this place for lunch if I was in Provorim as it's visited by many locals
Overall ⭐ 3.8
This was given for the food the kingfish was fresh and the Tiger prawns the seafood was too good but the Thali was not complete for the price that was charged there was no extra vegetables dish and there was no sweet dish or a chapatti.
Hope to visit his place again only for seafood
Authentic goan food and hidden gem. When we went it wasn’t crowded but after 15/20 mins it was full and there was waiting for 30 mins. Service is bit slow but servers are always running, food is fabulous and foodorgazum is for sure.
One of the best seafood restaurants in Porvorim! It’s pretty much crowded at peak lunch hours. So make sure to visit little early. Their special fish thali was so remarkable; boiled rice, fresh Kingfish, Squids chilly, Crab sukha, Tisryo sukha, Bimbli pickle, Kheer were the highlights! Don’t forget to ask their special glass of Coconut solkadi. Their Mutton sukha is one of the crowd favourites. We ordered Xinanyo and Prawns masala rava fry; both were so so tasty. In desserts, would recommend Serradura; it was just yumm!
Must try: Special fish thali, Xinanyo rava fry, Mutton sukha, Coconut Solkadi, Serradura
Would definitely recommend this place!
My second time to Sai Krupa. This time for dinner with friends.
We were in the mood for fish and weren't disappointed.
We had an early dinner of fish starters, followed by fish curry with rice. The service was good. The restaurant was not full.
What can I say.... It was yummy.
A must visit for all you fish lovers.
It's located at a stone's throw from hustle and bustle of Chogm Road but the place had a quaint homely vibe..
The Fish varieties available and the preparations were good, we visited a second time with vegetarian counterparts and left satisfied too
The basic decor, atmosphere and a a bit slow service is the reason to pull down a point but the food is worth a go for sure
Ambiance:4/5
Taste :4/5
Service 5/5
Not many fish options were available when I visited being the start of the monsoon season but... This is the pocket friendly restaurant with not much fuss
They serve alcohol as well for people who would like to have beer along with some appetizer.
There is choice available in rice to have "ukdo" Or plain rice.
It was a good deal for good money
Wanted to try a Fish Thali from a local haunt near Porvorim and got highly recommended to visit Sai Krupa. I was so tired of going to Copperleaf all the time and wanted to try something new and this was a delicious discovery. It's a family friendly restaurant located slightly on the interiors and you will find lots of Goan locals visiting this place than tourists and that kinda gives a stamp for its taste. We tried the special Fish Thali here and ordered Rawa Fried Xinaneo (mussels) and Prawns and some lime soda to wash it all off. The special thali comes with Prawns curry, local boiled rice (the ghaunti rice) and a fillet of fried modso fish. All the items on the plate were tum and we finished it clean. The only drawback was that the portions were way smaller than we thought. The xinaneo was the best of the lot and was cooked to perfection. Prawns were a bit oily for my preference.
Excellent food, nice place to visit there for goan food. Today rush was too much so we have to wait for more time. Excellent Goan food has overriden the more time taken.
Excellent food. Fish thali is a must try. Service is also good there. King fish fry is very yummy
Dropped by this place yesterday afternoon to try out their special Thali(₹350 - 400/-), and really liked it. We even ordered mussels rawa fry(₹450 - 500/-), cuz why not?
This could very the best place for a fish thali I have discovered till date.
Everything was so good taste wise that I can't resist giving a 5 star.
Food was so good I forgot to take a picture
