Visited twice. First experience was excellent and the second one was average. Excellent quality and good variety of cheese, salads and cold cuts. Risotto was perfect the first time, however, during the second visit we had to send the dish back and some server came back to me explaining how the risotto is supposed to be al dente etc! I had to then tell him that I was recently back from Italy and I absolutely know how the risotto is supposed to be. Like seriously, huh, your dish didn’t even have seasoning! Their visiting Italian chef then prepared the dish himself and of course, it was perfect this time. The pizza order also was goofed up twice in my second visit. But still one of the better Italian places in Pune and hence would recommend!
One of the finest Italian restaurants in pune . Loved the ambience , and most importantly the food . Great staff.
Everything on the menu would definitely be a must try.
Simple Loved it !! Keep up the good work . :)
I enjoyed the mushroom Alfredo. Was really good. I tried the spaghetti meat balls that was really good too! Topped it with their special tiramisu with was amazingggggg... I have been here many a times and have never been dissapointed. Also, the sangria's are yummmm !!! I will always keep going back here for a relaxed meal with my partner or my FAM BAM 🥂
Ordered for a spaghetti Arabiata. Was outstandingly amazing. Great service as well by Kairus and Rahul.
Thank you Sorriso.
One the amazing dining place in Pune.
While food was amazing in taste the services were far quicker and excellent ofcourse.
Will surely visit again
This place is really a class apart. from food, ambiance, hospitality to everything just classy.
I really liked it. It really feels nice when everybody around is taking effort to make your stay pleasant. Awesome.
Definitely this would be on my "often visit" list.
Polite staff, amazing duck meat pasta and Chorizo pizza. Cheese cake was epic. Keep it up.
Lovely ambience and amazing pizza! Go here for a casual lunch or dinner. They serve some really nice food.
A really super sunday morning ---with good ambiance ---excellent food & service --is just what u can expect at the sunday buffet .
Ambience
Lovely quiet setup with greenery and dim lighting. Music was light as well but cannot remember a song they played so probably need to do better. The place is expensive but then price is for what service they offer.
We ordered the Sorriso salad which had crisp aragula leaves pine nuts and cheese and a perfect olive oil balsamic vinegar dressing.Followed by Tra Terra E Mare a wonderful subtly flavoured prawn starter.
Olive tapenade:Green, black olives with olive oil:It elevates any meal. With flavours of garlic, lemon, oregano.Good to go!
Tomato tapenade:Grated de-skinned,tomato,pesto,parmeasan,basil:To drive all the way for!
Tiramisu and Lemon sorbetto which were bit of a let down after such a wonderful meal. Both quality and quantity wise. Lemon flavour was too over powering on the vanilla ice cream.
Do visit !!

Tucked inside KP near Mundhwa, Marriott Suites is a great place for a suite type stay and the restaurants overall complement the great experience and tremendous vibe of the place. The Chef is Italian and the cuisine is incredibly delicious. Go for the near authentic Italian experience in a calm and soothing atmosphere.
Ambience: Italian fine dining stylish and sophisticated, elegant but unstodgy, devoted to updating and refining traditional flavors and recipes for modern palates
Thanks to an extraordinary vibe, a great patio.
Staff:The f&b team are all at your service, very eager to serve and make ur meal-time memorable experience for you
Chefs:Under the helm of chef massimo, all chefs are attuned,to exact method of cooking taught by him.
The North Italian cuisine is characterized by a lesser use of olive oil, pasta and tomato sauce and a heavier reliance on butter rice, corn (for polenta) and cheeses for cream.
Northern Italian main courses often reflect people’s pride in their unspoiled countryside
it is well worth sampling the local dishes for a bit of authenticity.
Here chef massimo takes great pride in both his ingriedents and his cooking-techniques
You get southern-italian food at a lot of places but seldom get north italian cuisine
The chef leaves no stones-unturned
His formula keep it simple
Keep those ingriedents farm-produce fresh
The dishes we tried👇
Sorisso pizza:Tomato
sauce, fiordilatte mozarella, peppers, onions, goats cheese:The dough process is twice over-fermented.Which means after the dry yeast has been put and the proofing is done, then the dough is kneaded again after-which the round-balls are left to proof again. This entire process is of 36 hours.
This is not your plain old pizza crust. If you’ve got the time, definitely give the from-scratch crust a go. It’s well worth the extra effort.
Mutti tomatoes par-boiled and de-skinned(imported tin)are used as the base sauce with just some extra virign olive oil, salt & pepper.
Keep it simple.
The crunch from the bellpeppers & the sweetness of the onions make it totally tasteful.
fiordilatte mozarella: Fior di Latte translated as Flower of Milk is the name used to describe Mozzarella cheese made from cows milk.
It is made using the the Pasta filata or spun paste method, also known in English as the stretched-curd or pulled-curd technique.
The pizza is Baked at 330degrees for 4minutes.
Napoli Crust.Believe me you this is pizza-To Live for!
Focaccia:Inhouse
Olive tapenade:Green, black olives with olive oil:It elevates any meal. With flavours of garlic, lemon, oregano.Good to go!
Tomato tapenade:Grated de-skinned,tomato,pesto,parmeasan,basil:To drive all the way for!
Risotto Ai Funghi E Tartufo:Vialone nank rice cooked with the finest mushroom flavoured with truffle oil, finished in a creamy texture with parmeasan froth and micro herbs: Risotto is always a special dish. This is mainly because it is deliciously creamy and is a symbol of the gastronomy of Italy.Made with both fresh mushrooms and dried porcini(imported),which add a touch of refinement. In fact having also flavoured the risotto with a creamed white truffle - perfect! The parmeasan froth comes and sits on top as garnish.
Mezzelune Al Burro E Asparagi:Homemade half moon pasts stuffed with ricotta and spinach, butter and asparugus sauce:Home-made pasta(eggless):The delicious, soft pillows are ravioli. The filling has spinach, ricotta cheese.salt and pepper.Simple yet flavourful.
The flavors and textures of asparagus shine brightly as a canvas and vehicle for sauces.
Should u visit?
If u like good fine-dine experience with wholesome ingredients
Please do!
Happy Eating!
What a spread... from numerous salads to number of rare cold cuts (not seen often in buffets)... to Pizza the way u like it... Red n white meats n 3 different types of sausages to b grilled... and lots of mains.. for me...the Pork belly n Lemon Fish were outstanding... Prompt attentive service by all.. Kudos to Head Chef Mossimo.. who made sure that we were enjoying every inch of the meal... Fabulous👌
went there for Lunch , the outer deck is pretty calm and relaxing.
Must prescribe whether you like the penne half cooked or completely cooked.
Must try the truffle menu.
Basically , truffle is more of a herbal ingredient found in Italy and is very expensive.
A good place to visit with your loved ones.
I love the food 😍😍

Tried out a restaurant named Sorriso at the Mariott Suites. The Italian food out there was breath taking! First, on the table was the Tagliolini al Limone spaghetti topped with grilled chicken and fresh lemon butter. Then had the famous Sorriso pizza and lastly an amazing Risotto Verde with loads of truffle oil and a perfect balance of fresh garlic. For dessert we asked the chef to surprise us and he definitely did! I did find the place a little expensive, but that was because of it being fine dining! Other than that I would totally recommend this place
This place deserves an effortless 5.. I ordered a papardelle with an overcooked duck...Mamma Mia ! We died and went to an Italian food heaven... the potion size is generous.. so if you really plan for a good few courses of meals... Bring another stomach with you ! I wish I could kiss the chefs hands...it's Beautiful fine dine .. I think it's a no brainer...the best Italian restaurant... It also hosts brunches and I think m going to crash one of those sooner or later.. yummm
It is one of my best experience of Italian Dinning so far. Never thought of being so lucky to find this place .....its like trip to Italy through food and exquisite service with in the heart of Pune....Thank you Sorriso for giving such an experience....And last not the least is the wide variety of International Wine just give a cherry topping to the whole experience.
P.S. ITS NOT A DINNER FOR ME, ITS A WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE TO BE EXPERIENCED.
We went for the sunday brunch. The cold cuts, lamb sausage were yum. Good quality meat and great taste. Desserts were nice specially the Tiramisu. A must try for Italian food lovers. Though variety of non veg is much more than veg atleast for the brunch.
We enjoy sorriso everytime we come to Pune. Chilled vibe, friendly service, good food and drinks.
Love their sorrisi salad, mushroom pasta, petti di pollo al vino, their pizzas but most of all their delicious desserts. Tiramisu is an old time favorite along with lemon tart and the chcolate options.
Loved the food here. A colleague of mine had zomato gold so tried it. There capers pizza is just awesome. We tried those and really loved it. We tried few more stuff but capers was standout pizza.
The ambience in this place will literally remind you of the song Besame Mucho 😄 The outdoor seating area has a classy aura with the natural light filtering in from the roof and is perfect for a laid back cleansing experience. I call it cleansing as the afternoon definitely left us refreshed and upbeat contrary to the unassuming setting of the place. Minimal and effortless definitely seems to be the theme which continues onto the food. I ordered Scialatelli Sicilian which is a complex amalgamation of fresh flavours of parsley, cherry tomato and fried eggplant served with seabass , with a subtle hint of fish broth. It is the go to place for fine dining connoisseurs, pocket friendly and some more! Their parmigiana is à essayer for pizza addicts. If the food was hotter, the experience could have been better. The dessert although was the show stopper what with the brand marketing and the soft delectable melt in the mouth dark chocolate oozing out of the hot cake! A perfect 5/5 dessert.
A truly Italian experience, masking a lot of expertise in simplicity!
Visit Sorriso for the love of food. It's all made from scratch by a Army of chefs. We had the Squid Ink Seafood Risotto and the Parma Ham Pizza. Both dishes were as good as can be. Extremely child friendly staff. The kid really really enjoyed with the chefs showing her around the kitchen, even getting her to make her own pizza. Very very classy. Gone are the days where you visit eat and leave. The Little Italy days. These days with restaurants like Sorriso, dining out is a event on it's own. The Molten lava cake was so soft, it was cleaned up in no time.
Good Food and a Quaint ambience! Excellent service and courteous staff! I really enjoyed my lunch here at Sorisso. The food was absolutely delicious and very authentic. Plus zomato gold was a cherry on the cake! Shall definitely visit again! Good Job Guys!
We love this place. Have been here a zillion times already since the first. Perfect for an evening with great desert and wine. The outside sitting arrangement is great minus the mosquitoes.
The desserts are very good at this place also the staff is very polite . And the ambience here is very good. The price of the desserts are very money friendly.
The staffs were very welcoming and the food was fantastic.Mr Arbaaz severed us. We had the prawn pasta and grilled chicken salad. Will definitely try other dishes next time we come.
Nice outdoor seating and amibiece.
I have been coming here the last few years, the Italian food is the most authentic in Pune with a actual Italian Chefs. And the service is amazing, a special mention to the manager Rahul Kant who is an unbelievable host and makes us and our friends feel absolutely at home. He takes care of us like we are guests in his own Home!! Great job
Came across this place accidentally and i wish i had come across this earlier! Impeccable service and great food! What more could you ask for!
Ordered their amazing garden fresh veg pizza and we were blown away! They do everything in house and is a must visit for all Italian lovers :)
This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars. The food and service is top notch, I have not had a better authentic Italian meal, the Pizzas, Pastas and Antipastas are simply spectacular. The team right from the manager Rahul to Pratik are well versed with menu and extremely friendly and accommodating. For me this a goto place when I visit Pune for a true Italian experience.

Best Italian food i have had outside Italy, cannot begin to describe how good the food quality is. Had the seafood platter and the lobster tagliolini , perfectly cooked as you seldom find in India. Service staff were everready to help and were polite and created an overall environment that you'll crave for again and again. Special thanks to chef Vineet for the food and Saugat for the complimentary dessert he provided us as we didn't order one and Arbaaz for being the lovely host he was. VERY Highly Recommended
A Fine Dine place. Went on our anniversary and we were not at all disappointed. Location is quiet. Servers were friendly and helpful.
Regarding food, I have tasted the best risotto till now (mushroom). Give it a go if you like risotto. Ordered few more dishes and all were superbly tasty. Definitely recommended.
Had an amazing Italian dinner at @sorrisopune in @marriottstepune and tried out their special menu curated by Chef Valter Belli, who has come down to give Puneites a taste of northern Italy through some mouthwatering dishes.
Dishes I tried -
1. Rissoto alla Rapa Rossa e Filetto di Triglia - Beetroot risotto with red Mullet fillet, toasted almost and basil pesto
2. Capesante Saitate in Padella - Pan Seared scallop with pureed peas, confit cherry tomato and cuttlefish black ink
3. Antipasto Emiliano - a mix of Italian cold cut, gnocco fritto, erbazzone savory cake and grilled vegetables
4. Tonnarelli Pasta with Tiger Prawn, Crispy Pork Bacon on Broccoli Cream
5. Agnello Alla Romagnola - lamb loin stew in a tomato based sauce
6. Siphon Tiramisu - the lightest and fluffiest Tiramisu I've ever had!
7. Chocolate and Pistachio Semifreddo - A cross between mousse and ice cream. Don't miss it
8. Octopus Carpaccio salad
9. Cappuccino di zucca - Pumpkin puree souffle with parmesan mousse. A must try!
10. Zuppa del contadino - a hearty chicken, Barley and mushroom soup that I absolutely loved
This food festival is on till February 4 and includes some very authentic and unique dishes that I had never heard of or tasted before and I couldn't get enough of them!
Best Italian meal I’ve had anywhere in the world. Salad was perfect on its vinaigrette dressing, perfectly caramelized walnuts and nice touch of musk grapes. Main dish was pasta with sea bass - tender delicious and not oversalted / over spiced. Bread that accompanied meal was crisp on outside soft on inside and lightly seasoned with olive oil to accompany it.
Warning - it is pricey - $20 USD for the two items I ordered. Cheapeat bottle of wine I saw on menu was $35 USD. I passed on the wine. You will get the quality you pay for though.
Marriott Suites Pune always strives to bring unique dining experiences to its patrons and this time is no different as the hotel presents an all new organic vegetarian menu at Sorriso. In an effort to reduce the carbon footprint by not importing the produce, the hotel will be sourcing ingredients from the local farmers around Pune, mutually collaborating to create a wholesome guilt-free menu.
From Team PuneNightlife, the tasting was attended by Shivangi Mandody, a pure vegetarian herself who came back praising the innovation of the assorted platter especially the delicious and healthy buckwheat pizzas.
This organic and vegetarian menu curated by Chef Jacopo Avigo included dishes like Root Salad, Chill Beet Soup, Barley Soup, Black Pearls (Buckwheat gnocchi, on a potatoes volute base, organic green onions and roasted seasonal mushrooms) and Cavolo Penne (Whole wheat penne aglio olio e pepperoncino with bio crunchy broccoli on an organic cauliflower cream base).
We’ve had a splendid experience, and we sure do recommend Sorriso.
Best place and best service, do come here if you want your money's worth.
Thank you Anish for fantastic service.
Will definitely come again.
Cheers and keep up the good work.
Great Ambience , Great service , Great Food !
One of the best Tiramisu one can get in Pune. We ordered vegetariana Pizza which was awesome when eaten along with the served olive and chilli oil. Yeah, they have chilli oil !! Pasta and mushroom wok were awesome again.
Excellent spread of Italian Cuisine, even more so for vegetarian. The Raviolis and the Wooden fried pizzas were mind blowing. But the Tiramisu is the jewel crown. A must have experience. Plus it’s on Zomato Gold! So easy on pocket as well.
I visited Sorriso on the occasion of my wedding anniversary. The time was very well spent here. The ambience was soothing. We started with a salad, Estiva that had Salmon and soft boiled egg. It was light and tasty. Next we ordered Fiorentina Pizza. It was one of the hest pizza I have ever had. The thin base was cooked perfectly and was crunchy. The toppings were of the right amount, and overall the pizza was delightful. Branzino Loco, a dish of sea bass and veggies was delicious as well.
Tiramisu, was the perfect dessert to end the night with. We had a wonderful, relaxed and cosy dinner at Sorriso. Highly recommended.
Nice ambience, polite staff. The pizza is definitely worth a try. This place served the same quality pizza when it was called oakwood, I'm assuming they've retained the staff. Had ravioli as well it wasn't that great, have definitely had way better elsewhere. But the pizza definitely remains my all time favourite!
So I decided to go for my birthday here. The staff was very polite and helpful.
The pizza "Fiorentina" was cooked to perfection. Amazing pizza. One must definitely try their collection of Pizza's.
Next on the list was Meat Platter. The gravy, the well done meat was fantastic. The staff was courteous, recommended us the best of Wine. Which I must say was quite delicious.
The whole ambience was soothing and good for romantic outings or family outings.
Would definitely go next time to try their Lamb Shanks and pasta.
Very nice.. authentic Italian as it can get must try their signature pasta..
The best taste of cheese :) in a long long time.
Will definitely visit again.
No words will ever able to describe the beautiful and amazing food that I had at Sorriso.
Italian chef was not there when i had visited there, but Mr. Rahul helped me to enjoy my meal in a best possible way. He helped me order my food and also paired a lovely Italian white with my starter and Indian red wine with my mains.
He also introduce me to Chef Vineet, who at the end served me the Exotic Tiramisu. I was literally felt like I was sitting in Italy, if we just neglect the staff only. Be it Music, decor, wine wall. Everything just fabulous. Salad Melograno, Paperdelle Pasta and Tenderloin I will never forget.
Cherry on top was when Mr. Rahul Served me a Lemoncillo which his compliments with my espresso. I literally felt complete.
As I was not staying in hotel, that i have told Mr. Rahul, so what he did, while I was leaving, he took my permisson and took me to front office, where Mr. Sagar helped to show a room. I will certainly stay in Marriott Suites Pune, on my next visit.
I will see you soon Mr. Rahul and certainly meet the Italian chef.
Ciao.
We visited sorriso to celebrate our anniversary. I must say this is probably the best Italian I’ve had in my life! We had the gourmet veg pizza and the risotto ai funghi which were awesome. We had a pasta named pomedaro which was well cooked but an overdose of potato. Overall great experience !
Sorriso, where do I even begin?
Maybe with the Pizza - Easily amongst the best pizzas I've had, ever. The crust is nice and soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. The cheese-to-crust-to-meat ratio on the pizza would make most Italians proud, and all Pizza lovers salivate for more. So good that we went back there for our lunch the next day!
The Pasta was fantastic. We had a seafood pasta the first day, and a simple spaghetti in pomodoro sauce the next day. Both were fresh, light and hit the right notes.
On the dessert front, we had the panna cotta, the Dutch chocolate cake and the tiramisu. All great!
Easily could be amongst the best restaurants in the country.
If you go on a Sunday, you'll be subject to the Brunch Menu, which includes a wide range of food options, including fresh pizzas and a live grill. The chef is always around, even adds a very personal touch to the food being served.
If you're in Pune, you must, must visit.
I have not had better pizza. Amazing food. Amazing ambience and super service. The family and I will definitely visit again! Makes for a relaxing experience at the end of a hectic day.
Was looking for a place to dine with my parents. Safe to say Sorriso didn’t disappoint. The food was on time and delicious. The staff was also courteous and friendly. Must visit place!
We came with a craving for Pasta...
And Boy, did we get Pasta!
We started our meal with a crispy Frittura Mista, crispy and delicious semolina crusted seafood - fish, prawns and calamari served with a moreish tartare sauce.
For the Main course we got -
Bavette Gamberi, ribbon noodle like pasta served with prawns and very flavourful tomato sauce, which delighted my hubby who was looking forward a wholesome pasta dinner.
Risotto ai Funghi e Tartufo, a full flavoured mushroom risotto, so good I'm probably going to dream about it for the next couple of days!
The service was prompt and polite.
Sorriso came recommended by a friend and we're definitely going to pay it forward.
Thanks for a delicious Italian meal, the memories of which we will definitely carry with us.
Hope to return next time we are in Pune!
This restaurant is pretty much my home! I love the food and makes me feel in Italy! I have only one complaint because the menu seems on shrinking path! What happened to the lovely entry courses!? Only three vegetarians left!? What happened to De Cecco Pasta!? Why the salmon got cut it off from the menu too!? I feel that Marriott is looking to save money on the wrong side of the business.....
Please do not ruin such a perfect dining experience in Pune because is not much out there and the passion of Sorriso is unique and can be tasted!
So I had recently been to Sorriso which is in Mariott Suites to try the menu from their new food festival Km.0
The festival has an organic vegetarian menu and the festival is all about healthy food. The festival started on the 21st of September and ends on the 29th of September
The things I tried there were
Chilli and Beet Soup : This soup is rich in protein, zinc and potassium. It was served with vegetable crudites and tasted really nice with it
Old School Tomato : This soup is healthy for the heart as its rich in Lycopene. Roasted plum tomatoes were smoothly blended with extra virgin olive oil, smoked Garlic and fresh oregano. The soup was a big creamy and I seemed to like it
Guacamole Salad : This was rich in iron, carbohydrates and protein. This was a mix of brown and white quinoa boiled in ginger and spices broth. Even though I'm not a big fan of salads I did like it
Roots : This was rich in antioxidants with vitamin B and C. This was a salad serves with roasted beetroot, crisy turnips, rosemary and crispy chips. A healthy take on having chips. Do try it
Silician : This salad was rich in protein and vitamins. Panella made out of chickpeas flour, crisp fried with a soft core and served with kale leaves. Do try it if you're a salad person
Citrus Pizza : A healthy take on pizza. This pizza is rich in Vitamin A, C, K and Calcium. This had Beetroot puree on it and sliced raw fennel, citrus pieces and walnuts. I really loved this pizza a lot and is something which you should definitely try when you go here
Flower Pizza : It was rich in B6, C and K with Iron and Calcium. This was topped with plum tomato sauce, grilled tofu, Zucchini and pine nuts. Really liked this pizza a lot too. Definitely try it
The festival is gonna go on till the 29th of September so do try it before it ends
The food is impeccable. the ambience is outstanding. the hospitality is excellent. The staff is very courteous. I loved the mocktails, sides and the salmon salad i had. a free complementary cake for our anniversary was cherry on cake.
If you want to do something authentic, do it the way Sorisso does. Sorriso is no less than an Italian paradise for Punekars. Hence, I had alot of expectations from their Bar-B-Q fest. Let me tell you, I'm more than happy with the Italian grill experience.
Chef Avigo specially curated platters for us so that we could make the most of the fest but the menu here in ala-la-carte with some exclusive wine for you to enjoy.
We started off with a lamb platter which consisted of sausages ,breast pieces and a few more things. The entire platter was beyond words. Coal cooked, perfectly moist and soft, it was legit drool worthy.
The chicken and pork platter was equally good. Very light on flavors, I could enjoy the taste of well cooked chicken. I didn't taste pork but I was told that the platter as well as the pork burger is fabulous.
Your favorite cocktail with some really good meat and music in the background. Now that makes up for a successful evening.
Make sure you drop in and enjoy some Italian flavors.

Sorriso needs no introduction. It is one of the top notch places when it comes to authentic Italian food. I was recently invited for their BAR-B-Q Festival where Chef Jacopo Avigo dished out some mind blowing Grills.
So here's what I tried :
I tried their lamb shank, lamb rank, chicken breast, chicken leg boneless, potato mash, lamb and buff burger with fries and the different dips and assorted salts.
I loved the way chef had prepared the chicken legs to perfection and the sauce in which it is prepared is the bomb. The sauce is the soul of the dish. I also liked their lamb burger. It was pretty decent but then the folks on the table loved the pork burger more. According to them the lamb burger was a little dry as compared to the pork burger. But I leave it to you, you try you decide.
The lamb shank was another kick ass dish. The lamb was done so well that it literally melted in my mouth and the sauce again adds to the beauty of this dish. Loved it and would highly recommend you to try it.
And we paired all the food with a glass of red wine and we were sorted for the evening.
Overall, I think that the BAR-B-Q Festival is a chance for all the meat lovers to go and savour their offerings that too at a steal deal. Just go and give it a shot and I promise you won't be disappointed at all.
A big thank you to Tanvi for inviting me and Team Sorriso for hosting me.

Located in koregaon park, in Marriott Suites, has many options in KP.
The place has inside and outdoor seating, reservation on prior basis is recommended. Nice ambience, fine dine sophisticated feel.
The restaurant serves only ITALIAN.
The staff is courteous and service is good.
The place has some good collection of 🍷 wine.
Coming to food, first of all the names of dishes is hard to remember because of the complexity :P So I will go the description.
The chicken dish was amazing, the roasted flavour was too good, it is highly recommended.
The white sauce pasta was like okish, not so good. I thing I observed was all their pasta were somewhat dry. Although they provide u with extra sauces if u ask. In our case they offered us pizza on the house, so good fortune I guess. The pizza was vegetable Margaretta. It was good, can be tried.
In cocktails, I loved wild wild south, it was our usual nimbu Pani with liquor twist. I loved the taste.
Overall good experience, preferably a date place.
Little costly but worth it. The place has limited options but I felt the perfection is the key to them.
Was invited for an authentic Italian Bar-B-Q Fest a couple of days earlier. They have a traditional Italian Artisanal Meat Market concept from August 20th-30th by the young and dynamic, Chef Jacopo. The experience was extremely authentic as you begin your meal by choosing a delicious bespoke cocktail. Some of the cocktails offered are Angelo Azuro, Sangria pitchers, Sweet Negroni, Basil & Sour Lime Margarita and Pimm’s Lemonade Pitcher. They let you choose from a variety of artisan meats like Pancetta, Porchetta, lamb shanks and chops which are grilled to perfection and are marinated in traditionally for 24 hours. You should not miss this one if you're a meat lover. GO!
5th August Sunday - my birthday celebration was a beautiful day thanks to all of you guys at Sorriso. The perfect brunch spread, food, wine and the live music was simply awesome. I forget the Captains name that day but everyone including him made it special for me.
My friends and family had a blast. We will be coming by more often now on special occasions. A big shout out for the cuisine, ambiance and service. I loved the fact that the two kids could make their own pizza, the sandwich recommended by the staff for the kids also was awesome. All in a all a wonderful birthday brunch with family and friends. And the cake you guys got in at the end as a surprise - mind blowing!
One improvement - the grill needs to be made more interesting. Indians can't survive their meat without seasoning from the grill. Thanks again guys....thank you for making the day special for all of us.

Sorriso – Cibo Eccellente!
My bestie and I hadn’t met up in ages because of work commitments. When we finally found the time to catch up we decided it had to be a place that allowed us the liberty to sit peacefully for hours and gab. Another important factor was food; it had to be a place that served very good food. It was no wonder then that we opted for Sorriso, Marriott Suites.
Sorriso has a very classy indoor section and a beautifully done up garden seating. We chose the garden seating as the weather was lovely that evening. We immediately ordered our regular drink; Diet Coke with a wedge of lime.
We started off with Antipasto alla Italiana. This was a platter of imported cold cuts and cheeses. The cold cuts served that evening were, Parma Ham, Coppa, Bresaola and Salami Milano. As for the cheeses,

This is my first visit and I have to say - BEST ITALIAN IN PUNE. Believe me. This used to be The Bistro, which was pretty good, but Sorriso is other worldly amazing.
We started with a chicken soup with egg strands and a truffle mushroom broth with crunchy zucchini, onion leaf, Portobello mushrooms. They were very nice and soothing.
Next we had a flat homemade pasta with red wine marinated duck meat. Incredible. Which brings me to the pizza.
We had a signature gourmet pizza which had a mushroom cream base, burrata cheese, parmesan shavings, mushrooms and basil leaves. The crust was perfect, the burrata was creamy and dreamy, the mushroom base was perfect. It was like we were in Naples having the perfect Neopolitan pizza. Mind-blowing.
We ordered a cheesecake for dessert, which was excellent. But the chef outdid himself and presented us a brilliant tiramisu, since it was our anniversary.
Sorriso, you are the best in Pune. Kudos!
Yearning for an authentic Italian pizza? I was during my recent visit to Pune. I have eaten at some well known pizzerias here but something was always missing. Then I met Paola at Nitro Gym who is from Naples, the birthplace of pizza. In her opinion, there are only two restaurants which serve real Italian pizza and both were in hotels. Expensive - crossed my mind! One of them was Sorriso where I had lunch recently.
Lunch here is quiet as there are very few people. A waiter handed me a tablet which had the menu listing 91 items! First a plate of warm focaccia with green olive tapenade and diced tomatoes was served. The bread was crisp and chewy. Yum!
I chose a classic Margherita pizza even though there were some unusual ones including a pizza with pistachio cream. Not only did it look inviting, every bite was appetizing and delectable. I managed to eat almost half and took the rest home. I even had a slice cold and the crust was tender which is rare.
A hazelnut chocolate tart for dessert was a let down as it was hard and very cold. A small bottle of imported Italian parkling water was uber expensive. These two raised the total bill to a steep number. I was glad to be sitting down because I was about to faint.
Did I enjoy this meal? The pizza? Absolutely! I plan to return and try all the other ones.
Service here is warm and friendly.
Grazie mille Paola!
Highly recommended.
One of the finest Italian cuisine in Pune, if you love wine and enjoy Italian cuisine this place is a must visit in Pune.
Staff is very courteous, unlike others their staff can actually help you select wine to your taste and the food to go along with it. The chef swing by our table for feedback, shows they care about your experience with them. A deserving 5 star.
One of the best authentic italian joints in town! The pepperoni pizza is my personal favourite! The cheese, pepperoni and base is all too good! Outdoor seating is available and is a really good place for a date with mellow music in the background and amazing food. They have buffets on weekends which too are simply delicious. The food is made to perfection! never had a bad experience till date
Loved everything I ate there. Place is really cool too. Had scamorza fora which I liked but it looked way better at the picture. Bufalo tonnato was also delicious. Had risotto after and it was also so good. Will definitely go again for a wine night
Sorriso is the best place to have authentic Italian food they have small but great menu, love their thin crust pizza and lasagna , the ambiance of this place is beautiful especially the outer dining area good and friendly staff they just need to add some more deserts items for vegetarians
It was my wife's birthday and we wanted a special dinner with great food and a good time. Sorriso turned out to be the perfect place to go. Great food and great service with attention to detail.
Excellent food. Their tiramisu is both beautiful to look at and drop.dear delicious to eat. Prateek our waiter was exceptionally good and gives great food and drink suggestions. Would definitely go again
An amazing place for authentic italian cuisine. The presentation and the taste both are amazing! Jacopo the italian chef is the king in kitchen. Superb quality, super fresh food, superb prepared and Art Work show case in the plate! Now is my favorite place in town. Thanks Chef for such achievement!!!
Had visited Sorriso for our anniversary and the food and service was amazing. Very good menu, even the way it was presented (on a tab) was really nice, the food was tasty and service spot on. Thank you
Very good food and polite staff. Sharad was a super kind waiter and recomanded us the best dishes. We come back for sure for the best italian food in town!
Great food. Superb service, (5)very fast and efficient.
Not a clear 5 neither a clear 4 , 4,5 is what I would rate it.
Vegetarian Lasagne was one of the better lasagna tested in restaurant (5) , mixed platter with cold cut meat was was great with a very friendly portion (4), the mixed grill plate for 2 was good enough for 2 for sure and meat was well prepared and tasty (4,5) , the desserts was somewhat a surprise with mixed feeling. The tiramisu was huge ! But I think by making it child friendly(no alcohol) it missed the touch of rum, grand mariner or other alcohol that gives a contrast to the creamy taste. Some people in the group liked it other soso (4), the chocolate fudge cake thing mixed very well with the creamy tiramisu and together they helped each other from avoiding becoming a 3 (4)
Will definitely come back
Sorriso
It’s a casual dining Italian restaurant. We went there during the end of March. The feel of the restaurant is great, beautiful ambiance and they have an inside outside sitting. The bread basket was served to us.
We ordered Pizza, Bruschetta, Prawns, Wine.
Bruschetta, Prawns was good and the pizza which I ordered was very good, long time I found a good quality pizza which was amazingly thin crust.
The staff was good ,nice place with lots of potential. I will visit again this place specially for the pizza.
Very good service and delicious Italian food. I went there for the Sunday lunch .Live music added to everything .but they can improve on the dessert counter , dint like anything from that. Anyway overall had a wonderful time :) . Will definitely visit again .
Sorriso has really upped the game of Italian cuisine in Pune, with top noch ambience and service going hand in hand with the best selection of dishes in the menu, Sorriso has made no compromises in terms of quality. Anish Kochitty was really help ful and his smile adds an extra charm to Sorriso.
Great place an amazing Team.
Everyone is so humble and curtious, food was so so good.
Chef Jacopo food was great.
Team member specially Hyder, Sonoo, Prateek, Anish are truly wonderful.
Manager Kant was truly amazing too.
I will be back soon.
Had to plan a office evening event for 20 odd people with non Indians included. I was tired of the regular joints and wanted something exclusive and new. After much contemplation chose Sorriso and am glad did so.
Meal
We chose a set menu in consultation with Mr. Vinod who was extremely helpful and accommodating.
Starters:
What stood out was RUSTICA - A mixes leaf salad with grilled juice chicken breast and cheddar. How ever the BEST dish was FRITO MISTO - an assortment of Prawns, calamari, sea bass, salmon with tartare sauce.
Mains
Pass around pizza were thin cheesy (in a good way) and vanished fast from the tables.
RISOTTO FUNGI with arborio rice and white mushrooms was THE dish of the evening. Absolutely right smear and texture and we opted for Parmesan instead of blue cheese which was suggested by the chef.
There were 4 more items in the mains and difficult to remember their names. I had roasted chicken with sage sauce and roasted potatoes. I was full by this time so could not enjoy much.
Desserts
Tiramisu and Lemon sorbetto which were bit of a let down after such a wonderful meal. Both quality and quantity wise. Lemon flavour was too over powering on the vanilla ice cream.
Ambience
Lovely quiet setup with greenery(much of it created through plants etc) and dim lighting. Music was light as well but cannot remember a song they played so probably need to do better. The place is expensive but then price is for what service they offer.
Special note of Thanks to the chef who personally got involved in menu creation and selection.
Lovely Italian fare... Went in for vday, crowded but good . They could use help with training their servers with communication skills. It was difficult to communicate in English or Hindi both.
Another amazing restaurant worthy of appreciation. The welcome of the staff was pretty good. They suggested very good dishes to have and cocktails to go along. We had the chicken gravy was amazing. Paneer and chicken were very tender. For the cocktails long Island Iced Tea, Martini we had that also nice
It’s give u a feeling of 5***** . That true u must try.
A authentic italian fine dine at the Marriott Suites serving you some fine quality of food.
More of a romantic fine dine for couples.
Food is fablious , delcious , excellent
Huge vareity of options from the start to end,
Service was a bit of an issue but the restaurant was full so we do understand but they gave it up to us for the fine quality of delcious food served by them.
The staff was helpfull and well spoken.
A must visit guys, and a place to be repeated for sure.
Its a lovely place with amazing food and lovely people around Anish, Pratik and Rahul. The warm hospitality n their cheerful demeanour makes us repeat our visits. Thank you n good wishes always!!
Beautiful place, beautiful people, amazing food...special special thanx to Pratik, Anish and Rahul that make this place so special with their presence!
This is the best italian restaurant I've been or I would say very close to authentic italian food. I've been here many times.
The chef takes due care before passing each and every dish. To begin with they serve the homemade flat bread with two types of dips or I would say it's a DIY brushetta.
I ordered a pizza and it was superb I must say the crust is just the same as I had in Italy.
The main course has a wide variety to choose from and they are presented exactly the same as shown I the menu (pictures).
My visit to this restauraunt reminded me of the lip smaking restaurants I visited in Italy. I just hope they keep up the good work
Good ambience. Less crowded. Not insanely expensive. Good to take your family or girlfriend out to.
Good Italian restaurant in Pune, Many plates are really delicious (i.e. Risotto with mushrooms and flatbread with mushrooms dip) and some others are just average (i.e. pizza). Staff is kind and professional and take care of you. Overall it's worth trying it.

I had gone to Marriot suites Pune for an official visit and after a long tiring day at work, I decided to go to the Italian restaurant called Sorriso.
I have this thing for Italian food. So my reviews are generally biased which means that even if there is a slight miss in the food taste, I will still say good things about it so keep that in mind.
You will see the pictures of the food and will be able to relate to what I’m saying. I had ordered a soup called mushroom cappuccino, a pasta called spaghetti allo Zafarano and a bottle of water and I paid Rs.2000 approximately. without going into too much of details about the food. I must say that the soup was out of the world so I will rate at a 5/5 and the pasta was very good too, but because I have liked pasta better at other Italian outlets like spaghetti kitchen, I’m going to rate it 4/5. Loved the sitting, the ambience and the service. So overall I would love to visit this place again.
Although, it's slightly on the pricier side, we loved everything about the menu. The staff was very polite and friendly. The service was quick and the food was very palatable. From the pictures in the menu, the portions seemed lesser, but we actually got the food, the portions seemed just right to go back home very content.
We were recommended some excellent wine, the Chef was courteous to come & talk to us and exchange some interesting facts.
Definitely the best Italian in the city.
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, lovely experience, highly recommended, will be back soon.
For a Sunday evening the place looked dull. Celebrating 10 years wedding anniversary and staying at the hotel at the same time , knowing that a table has been booked for us by the hotel, it was a different story at the restaurant. Food wise the Magarita pizza was on the salty side and too big. Bigoli al anatra was good something new for me. The AC was either off or on a high temperature as the place was extremely hot. The outside area was cool and refreshing.
A mixed feeling for Sorriso as i have read and heard a lot about this place.
Awesome brunch buffet. Must try
Extensive buffet with a wide range of primarily Italian cuisine, range of cheese & dessert. The only negative was that some of the food on the buffet was barely warm. But the serving staff were quite willing to warm it and also bring whatever you wanted from the buffet.
There is a fixed charge per head with optios of food only or food + different alcoholic drink choices. The food-only option included a moctail.
Perfectly made pastas - specially the Ravioli.
By far, this is the best authentic Italian food in town!
Must try - Signature lasagna and tiramisu!
If you are an Italian food freak check out their Sunday brunch.
Excellent food, great ambience, courtesy and prompt service 👍
For me it's the best Italian restaurant in town
As always, the tiramisu is a must have
4 of us ended up having 4 plates of tiramisu :p
Ordered the sorisso pizza and it was delicious! The goat cheese in the pizza is fantastic and the pizza is full of flavours
Also, they have 25% off on Zomato pro and dine out passport for dine in :)
Best restaurant for Italian lover … they have nice ambience as well as great tasty food.. love the authentic dishes they provide
First, this place is very expensive. But finding authentic delicious Italian food in Pune was cool!
Get the homemade pasta for sure. The pizza is also authentic!
Lovely food. Great ambience. I was here for a very special dinner with my husband and needless to say, the restaurant head perfect for the occassion.
Highly recommended: Bruschetta and Dark Chocolate Pave
Love this place! Great to be able to dine al-fresco too. Sensational Christmas eve tasting menu and incredibly good value too.
A very cozy ambience and an excellent Italian cuisine with very courteous and helping staff.
Superb food, but not quite fine dinning seating. Worth visiting for the food and cocktails.
Authentic Italian cuisine.
Recommend Agnello (New Zealand lamb), Chicken Scaloppini ( chicken in red wine), La Burrata, Fritto mistook ( crispy seafood), Schiacciata flatbread (baked in-house), Lasagna di verdure, Mezzelune ( ravioli with spinach and ricotta), pizza. All cocktails are good. I did not like the tiramisu but the chocolate desserts are superb. The restaurant is expensive.
