Was always curious to try bun maska , and tried it for the first time here , it was just heaven. So tasty , bun maska and chai was just a heavenly combination . It was crowded and really worth . Totally recommended whenever you are in pune , must try bun maska and chai .
Goodluck cafe is one of the finest quality dining restaurant in Pune. Chicken dishes and rummali rotis are the best combination for all time.
Bun maskas from Cafe Goodluck is choice of every foodie. If you visit Cafe Goodluck and you won't order Bun Maska then I must say you have wasted time and probably you are not true foodie.
One of the oldest irani cafe in
Pune with their best breakfast of bun maska/bun omelette will
make yourself drive daily to the cafe for the morning treat
Really affordable and tasty. Most crowded place since many years but still quality has maintained well. Really worth to price . Bun maska and tea was awesome and burjipav is really tasty. Somasas are small crunchy hot and full of stuffing with ketchup. Good place for good food. For snacks it's perfect place.
Founded by Hussain Ali Yakshi in 1935, Cafe Goodluck is Pune’s oldest Iranian cafe, and till this day is seen as an integral part of the city’s identity and lifestyle. This age-old business is located on Fergusson College Road, luring many Pune locals in with its classic Irani chai & bun-maska combos, with a plate of egg bhurji on the side. With over eight decades of the same style of work and food, one would wonder how this haven for all breakfast lovers has managed to have its staff overworked with the never ending influx of customers.

The restaurant’s USP has been its inexpensive and delicious yet fulfilling food. The cafe has come up with free home delivery service to areas like Aundh, Kothrud, Prabhat and Bhandarkar roads. The ‘luck’ sure is taking it places.

This is one of the oldest restaurants in Pune which is the reason it is so famous. I am really a big fan of their bun maskas, I just love it. I don't like their tea but they deliver good quality of sandwiches.
This is also a legendery place in pune. One of my foodie friend & restaurateur Vishu Shetty had introduced me to this place. We tried ‘chicken chilly bonless masala fry’ & egg curry with chapatti. It was amazing. Then bread pudding and tea. This is typical Irani feeling here. Old irani hotel décor & sitting arrangement. One can fall in love with place. Must visit in pune if u r a foodie
Last visited was before lockdown
It was super awesome and it's my fav and go to place to have keema pav
One of the oldest and most famous restaurant of Pune. Visited for the first time and became fan and felt like coming here more. Bucket list ticked ✔️
I always visit this place when at FC road. Best place to have chai and bun maska for all chai lovers.

The place has followed the legacy in terms of food.
The (Manager) Uncle is super friendly and knows how to stay connected with his customers.
It is a great place to have cold coffee after a hectic day at work.
this restaurant is famous for so many reasons be it the celebrities that have visited as students and especially the food here we ordered - bun maska, chai and egg bhurji the food was amazing the ambience is so good very spacious and the decor is still maintained giving u the parsi feels
overall rating 4/5
I swear I never had such delicious and soft buns before, I was so overwhelmed with the softness that I ate two bun maskas in one go, leaving no space to taste the remaining dishes.
All the dishes that we ordered were amazing. We were so full that I had to pack the cheese omlet back home.. This heritage cafe is a real gem and actually needs no reviews.... Must must try for everyone in Pune..
Best place for breakfast 👌
The best Mutton Kheema I have eaten till date. Service is impeccable.
Awesome food. Ace in quality, really good taste and most importantly, pocket friendly meal. A proper meal wherein you really want to fill your stomach such is the quantity.
Old cafe which have a legacy to leave behind... But it is having very disproportionate cost to quantity ratio found here.
Oldest cafe on FC road, Pune
Bun maska pav - 8/10
Tea- 7/10
I love the taste here . Very awesome place to hangout.
This place will never disappoint you in terms of taste of food and cost. . Used to visit often in college, even now the charm remains the same.
We had a hearty breakfast. I should say not very pocket friendly, but the taste was very good. A nice place for somebody first time to Pune and looking for a good breakfast. Tea, bun maska and mutton kheema was what we had.
Love bun mhaska with tea. They also have good options with dining.
One of the oldest irani cafe in Pune... legendary place...from 1935...my mom dad use to go at Goodluck to have irani tea with bun maska...irani chaha baher Goodluck cha katta barobar old songs ❤
Talk about noisy ambience, chipped cups, taken for granted waiters, having a soft drink while you wait at the entrance.. All just goes away the moment you get your food on the table and start relishing it. Perfect place for people who are casual and don't judge the place on the above mentioned adjectives but mind only and only their food. Must try: Bun cheese maska, broon butter jam, eggs!!
Cafe goodluck, one of those restaurants which are rustic type and the signature one in Pune just like the kyani and company Mumbai it has a very old school feeling to it and that's what adds to its charm and the food over here is justice amazing beauty I had the chai and the bun maska here and they are ever deliciousand ever fresh with every bite.
Located at the middle of the hub of FC road, this joint is so famous for its bun maskas and coffees amongst the young and the old generation. One of the yummiest coffees in town and at the cheapest price. A must visit when in the city.
Was in Pune from Delhi and specially took an auto to visit this legendary cafe from 10km away and I must say it didn’t disappoint. The staff was really courteous and also helped us decide what to order from the menu.
Got some Keema Pav packed for Delhi and it smelled amazing. Loved their Bun Maska and Fruit funny too.
You will always find a queue here. This cafe has a very basic breakfast menu and that too is not very delicious.
Some will find this cafe overrated but many ( including me 😅) crave for the simplest bun maska of this cafe.

Verdict - Must Eat This
Cafe Goodluck is an iconic eatery in the heart of Pune - FC road. The cafe is claimed to be running since 1935 and is one of the local favorite places for the breakfast. I ordered Bun Maska with the love of the locals - Irani Chai. The chai was refreshing and good but the scene-stealer was the Bun Maska. It was fresh, soft, big & so buttery! I can bet there could be no better bun in this universe.
P.S. - The cafe is extremely famous among non-vegetarians for its Keema Pav. Do try it!

Having chai and bun maska is always love 😍😍
if you are looking for perfect seating and tables and crowd then please go to five-star hotels only!
this is one of the oldest food joints in Pune and the food tastes impeccable. those commenting negatively, please cook food yourself to a certain standard before commenting or judging. because this place wouldn't still be running and wouldn't have a waiting period for a table! eating here since school days, since 20 years ago...
A very old and very popular cafe located at FC road is a must visit when you are in Pune.
People mostly hang out here for their Best known chai and bun maska. Also chicken curry and rumali roti.
Every time you visit ,you get the same taste... quality and quantity maintained.
The only problem here is....long que for the table..
So far a must visit!!
This is one of the famous spot to have tea and bunmaska.... also loved their boneless chicken biryani it was worth the money with both quality and quantity.. #punefoodies
You must visit when you are in pune and this outlet is at F.C Road. Very old and popular in pune Generally there is waiting at this cafe but you will get the table within 20mins .
I visited with my family recently when I was in pune and tried bun maska, bun jam, keema and bread, cheese omelette ,cold coffee and last irani chai. The taste of everything was just perfect no complaint from my side made even the prices are nominal and won affect your pocket too much.
It is amazing how well they have maintained the quality of the food for so many years. Even though there are many new Irani restaurants in the city now but when I think of Kheema, Goodluck is the place to go to. The other dishes like Biryani are also recommendable and till date one of the best places for Chai and Bun Maska. And I am only giving it 1 star less for the ambience. I hope they finally make a better seating area because it is always way to cramped and messy.
Cafe Goodluck is one of the best oldest place to hang out with friends and family for their famous samosas and of course Chai. its a landmark in deccan gymkana and their bun maskas are the best. service is quick and courteous and friendly staff makes this place great and a must visit.
If you wish to enjoy old school charm, then this is the place! Cafe Goodluck is a traditional Parsi food joint to get quick bites. Enjoyed Bun Butter, Tea & Caramel Custard here last evening. The buns are extremely soft & the entire menu is pocket friendly. The guy at the billing counter (I guess he is the owner) is a jolly & witty person....a rare quality these days.
Note: The place remains a bit crowded due to it's popularity so be ready to wait for sometime or share tables with other guests.
This is an old school joint where people come to just enjoy food so people looking for insta worthy snaps might be disappointed a bit!
I like this place but feels it's highly overrated !
Food is just good not that tasty and usually the place is very crowded
a food person like me found heaven (except ambiance) in GoodLuck cafe. Literally mastered the art of cooking specially muttom rogan josh and rumali roti (a must to have dish)
The forth law of gastronomy (Taste is inversely proportional to hygiene) completely suits this cafe.
If you love the taste and not the make-up, suggest to visit this place.
Dont forget to order Mutton Rogan Josh and Rumali roti. Dont share the dish, as I am sure, you will be finishing it completely :)
Only reason to down it by 1 start is ambiance.
Keep Roging the Josh :)

I wonder why I am even reviewing this legend of a place, but I feel, as a citizen of India and of the internet, I have the right to speak up, and so I shall.
I feel that Good luck cafe can be divided into 2 restaurants under the same name, on of it being the so popular irani styled cafe popular for its bun maska, irani chai and egg preparations, while the other is more of a restaurant serving most of the non-vegetarian delicacies you could think of.
I haven't visited the restaurant ever, but the cafe has graced me with delicious food more than 3 times now. The only reason I don't prefer to go here very often is that its too crowded and you don't want to wait when you are famished right?
The staff in here might not be friendly but they are efficient in their work, ensuring quick service and minimum wastage of time, because of a huge waiting queue outside.
I have had CHEESE MASALA OMLETTE PAV, VEG. PUFF, FRENCH TOAST, FRIED EGGS and ofcourse BUN MASKA & Filter coffee. The french toast was a bit blunt, I felt. And also, the grill sandwich what I ordered was grilled just for the sake of it, had excatly 2 slices of cucumber and tomato each, and a slice of cheese. Very, very disappointing from a place of this stature. Everything else was pretty nice. I feel that they might have buffed up the prices a notch after gaining popularity, which is understandable but still the rates are pretty reasonable.
A great and lovely place to grab a quick snack and I am really excited to try their restaurant section too!
Happy Burping!!!
Excellent broon butter and tea. The stuffing inside the vegetable samosas could improve drastically. But overall a great place for tea, bun maska, bun butter, broon butter etc.
A truly great coffee place has to feel special. A place to recharge with a good vibe and a steaming drink or to chat up a friend over that perfect pastry you’re definitely going to stop eating after one more bite. The best spots have a bit of magic to them. Choosing your perfect spot takes time and patience. Very cozy and a small cafe but an amazing food menu as everything is delicious.
Staff is very polite and helpful. The staff here is very courteous and friendly.
Bun masks was toooo good... rush is always there... everytime parking problem...
Pune's Best Place to Have BUN-MASKA.
Very Pure and Old taste with Lots of surprises.
Amazing Quality with Good Creamy Taste.
One of the best place for NON-VEG lovers. Food is awesome here. Chai & bun maska is the most popular dish . Its just amazing! Boneless tawa chicken with rumali roti tastes best .Loved the crowd at this place. Nice experience.

This is very old and popular in Pune. We had Bun Maska and Irani Chai at Cafe Good luck. The best place to hangout with friends. It serves the best Irani Breakfasts and caters to tastebuds of old and young, alike.
Delicious Bun maska & Kheema Masala. A must try.
This place has a special vibe to it and has seen alot of memories. Located at the corner of FC road, near Deccan Gymkhana it's a perfect place to go to spoil yourself after a workout. We recommend bun maska and keema masala, which happen to their signature dishes.
The Place Is Good For Quick Bites .. Food Is Also Good Hygienic Place .. Loved The Irani Chai,Bun Maska,Bun Omelette... The Only DRAW BACK is U will Always Find Waiting There Que
Good portions... quality for money... desserts were the cherry on the icing... caramel pudding is a must try... bread pudding is too heavy but worth the try
Nice place to have breakfast. Must try Bun Maska Chai.
Amazing food with nice Iranian ambiance. Chicken peshawari was just another level so was the egg curry. And desserts took the meal to another level altogether...... YUMM YUMMM YUMM
