Shisha Jazz Cafe - It's an Middle Eastern Restaurant located at ABC farms -Koregaon Park ,Pune. It has exotic, breezy hangout offering Iranian,Indian and European dishes along with cocktails and live music.It has a rooftop ambience which is very elegant and surrounded with green plants giving all together a nature feel. Also they have a comfortable seating arrangement. They have very friendly staff who are also courteous in addition to having a valet parking.Top dishes people order are Beer,Chicken Lasagne,Nachos and Veg lasagna.Overall the spot is just amazing and not to forget that the outlet is also pocket-friendly.Definitely worth giving a shot !

The place is an authentic pune ambassador. You have to go to Shisha if you are in pune. It smells history. The setting, the feel of the place is different. Go out with friends spend some fun time, grab a few beers and finish it off with some nice food which is very good.

Shisha Jazz cafe is a very relaxed place where we went for a weekday lunch. There was minimal crowd, and we were seated on the rooftop area. The seating layout and arrangement is amazing and since it was relatively empty, we sat on a table where there was a sofa seating.
Since we were there for lunch, we called for tandoori aloo tikka for starters, paneer tikka masala and breads for main course. We had unlocked Zomato Gold as well, which allowed us to have a lunch without drinks at just ₹400.
We are definitely going back for dinner sometime soon!
Visited in first week of Dec 2019. Little difficult to find but the ambience is nice. Crowd is good. The staff is really cooperative and sensible. Ordered veg food and salads. The bread crumbs in the salad were not good, however the staff was quick to serve more bread. Veg platter was really nice. Overall good experience.
It was a wonderful experience inspite of being served the wrong dish twice...The service was so overwhelming that made us stay and we kept enjoying.The ambience keeps growing on us but this time service was 7 star.keep it up.

If you are a sucker for pretty places and delicious food, this place should definitely be on your list! I have been here a couple of times now, and there is something very calming about this place. The last time I went here, I ended up spending around 4 hours here: hogging, chit chatting and playing heads up with friends 😀. The ambiance here is so cozy that you just won't feel like leaving! Following are the things that I have tried so far:
1. Chai-e-Irani w Dates : served in the cutest kettles ( check out the picture)
2. Turkish Coffee: strong ( not everyone's cup of tea ; pun intended 😛)
3. Jujeh Kebab
4. Chicken Lasagna; I personally didn't really like it much
5. Veg Platter with lots of different dishes

This is my favorite Go to place. The outdoor sitting, the beautiful ambience gives a very soothing touch to the entire experience. The cheese platter and the chicken tikka are a must try!

Was in Pune for 1 night and was pouring, was really hungry and was trying to find places nearby for lunch to where I was and also which had Zomato gold.
This place is really great in ambience it’s soothing and peaceful and calm, ordered for 2 chicken starters or kebabs I would say and both were really great and nicely made.

I think you should put ghormeh sabzi in your suggestions. It is totally unique and utterly delicious. It is one of the best non Indian versions of lamb I had so far.

Beyond the Shadow of a doubt, Shisha Jazz cafe is the Ultimate place for a Date night, have been here once but surely have gotten hooked onto going here again and again. Loved how they’ve kept the place so nature friendly and utilised the tree by accommodating it within the place. Serenity, Classic Jazz music, Soothing vibes, the greenery and the top notch service are some of the key attractions out here. Talking about the food, we had the Chicken lasagna and chicken tikka masala, the food was average. Good Quantity though, the plus point is that this place accepts Zomato gold(1+1) on Food. The experience that they build up for you is on a whole new level and you should definitely take your loved one out here
Here was the most romantic of experience I’ve had. Was out for a typical date night and the experience and vibes we encountered was totally out of my expectations.
We had the chicken lasagna and the chicken tikka masala which were very okayish. I did not like the lasagne very much. But shisha is not very famous for it’s food so I had no grand expectations from it.
But for a date night this is the perfect place I can think of.
They also have comfortable seating which changes the whole vibe.

We were here with some of the westerners and everyone absolutely loved the place. Incidentally we were lucky enough to witness one of the world renowned Jazz band perform live during our visit which made the visit even more worth it. There were lot of options in food especially Iranian cuisine, we tried the Mutton Kebabs and Veg platter both were great and decently priced for a place like this.
I was here on a Saturday afternoon since it's summer we just had one starter and two mocktails ..in my limited time there I can say .. service was fantastic the ambience is great .. obviously the place is more lit for evening
One of the best places in Pune which has maintained it's quality. It has a very serene feel to it. The seating area is makes you feel like lounging in a tree house. The Persian carpet, frames of jazz singers adds to the look. It has live jazz performance as well. Food is as always delicious especially the Veg Platter. Also, came with a very good quantity. Will highly recommend this place for a romantic evening or just to chill out with friends.
Love love! I am always up for themed restaurants. While Jazz seems boring to many..I would suggest a date night or an anniversary dinner here! Forget being prim and proper and for once take off your shoes, nurse a glass of wine and enjoy your company! And that’s the exact mood Shisha sets for you! Food is good, music is good, I think it overlooks the waterbody behind... I love all the Mediterranean carpets and lamps that just takes you to the place you want to be!
This one can claim to have one of the most unique settings and ambience in Pune. Its almost like a tree house amongst a lot of greenery. It has a lot of jazz memorabilia which I loved!
The tenderloin steak was a really good and juicy ,exactly how a steak should be.
The only drawbacks maybe would be that they dont have alive band on Saturday (at-least the Saturday i was there). Another one is that the mosquitoes can kill you!
But apart from that this place brings the old world of charm of Irani cafes back into your life which is quite amazing! Highly recommended if you like music and good Irani food like me! Prices are extremely reasonable.

Very soothing ambience. Feels like you are seating in tree house. Entrance is amazing, you have to go upstairs by stairs. At top you will find hookah pots some cools stuffs which attracts you there to click selfies. Seating arrangement is cozy. Tables quite cool. Plays really good music, most important and good thing not so loud. Usually such places plays loud and people can’t interact. In drinks, you could have some drinks like couple of pints and chill. In food had 2 3 chicken starters, and french fries. Quality and quantity’s good. Service wise fine. Not so good nothing found bad too. Overall its good cozy lovy dovy place for couples. For bunch of people is also good but not preferable.
Good place to hang out with your friends though they don’t have live music on weekends but the food was good ...they don’t use a lot of spice because it’s mostly Arabic ...sizzler was good and also they don’t provide towers only buckets and pint 😋

Nice shacks gives a perfect ambience. Punjabi and mughlai food is good if you are in Koregaon Park. Wide range of Drinks and sometimes live music is also there. Its one of the oldest restaurants in town who has kept up with class and crowd. Cheers

Sheesha cafe in ABC farms blows away your senses! its quiet in the afternoon and buzzing in the evening! the ambience totally makes up for any shortcomings in the food department! try the chicken tikka's, the flavoured sheesha's and do sit on the Deewan's provided on the sides... its the best place to be in on a sunday afternoon!

Eat in a jungle in away from city noise with Jazz music!
This place is situated in Mundhwa near Westin hotel. I never noticed this place unless one day a friend took me and I was awed with the serenity of the place ( keeping in mind that it is located in the middle of a busy road and city noise) . The place is filled with plants everywhere. They have mild music and tables are kept with a good distance from each other so no chaotic environment at all. You will find normal chair seatings for big groups and small as well but with that they also have this comfortable seating where you can sit with your legs up and enjoy the music and food with your drinks. Place has that touch of jazz, hookah and peaceful vibe.
What we ordered?
We ordered chicken lasagne with spaghetti bolognese with chicken. The food was well cooked with flavourful taste. The quantity of two dishes was enough for three people.

Ambiance and Music:
I will visit this place again and again for it's Ambiance. It is so calm and refreshing. We spent whole Sunday afternoon. Both indoor and outdoor seating, but I guess no one prefer indoor and it is closed. Kudos to their interior designer team. Outdoor seating is on first floor surrounded by trees including the entry to the place. Every kind of seating is available specially bed kind of with legs up. Walls are decorated with photo frames. 2 cupboards filled with Sheesha and antique items. Overall a photogenic place. Jazz music played all the time. This is not a party place (-1 🌟) instead a sit back and relax. You can spend whole day without getting bored.
Food and Service:
We ordered Chicken Lasagne and Spheghetti Bolognese with Chicken. Delicious dishes covered fully in cheese. They got Zomato gold and we got both dishes at 350rs only. Plate-wise food portion will look less but more than enough for two persons. Drinks are priced on higher side.
Overall:
A perfect place for Date or Sunday afternoon visit. They used to serve Sheesha but not anymore.
A place with a jazz feels which also give you feels like you are sitting in middle east or in Arabic country good ambience and taste of food.
The place has very quick service and cozy sitting area the shisha which they have put up hanging are giving their ambience a much better level

I just love the ambience and overall look nd feel of this place. I went here both in day time as well as during night and the eating in jungle like feel is just what makes this place stand out different from others.
The food is nice too. They serve a wide variety of cuisines including Middle eastern, Chinese, American and Indian. Loved their baklawas in my dessert. Worth a place to visit again.
One of my favourite place to go nostalgic in the world of jazz music concerts ..The old charm of the place is so alleviating that it restore my faith in these places that they are going to beat the modern changing world and flourish ..
It's very heart warming to see all the old generation people enjoying the music and food here ..in my last visit at tribute to the Beatles saw one very aged charming couple dancing and enjoying the evening..they lifted up the spirits of all the audience and everyone had smiles on their faces ..
I must say, the place is extremely beautiful and well themed. The music and ambience was all in all lovely. That said, the food was extremely average . We ordered for indian which probably wasn't the best way forward. It's still a very good place if you appreciate jazz music and a cosy atmosphere

Shisha Jazz Cafe, brainchild of Mehdi Niroomand and Prithvi Chitnis, has a true bohemian paradise for more than a decade, full of music and culture. A large part of my college days have been spent drinking endless cups of mint tea and smoking my trepidations away in cold blue smoke of shishas. (Alas, no longer). Though I've always enjoyed their food I never experienced the real treasure - their authentic Iranian (or Persian) cuisine!
Mehdi's ancestors moved to India almost 100 years ago bringing with them their traditional recipes which, even today, are prepared at home just as they did in Iran. The same homecooked food is served at the restaurant! This is what distinguishes them from any other restaurant claiming to serve Iranian or Persian cuisine.
I was invited by Sasha and Mehdi for a food tasting to showcase these delicacies. I absolutely loved the food and everyone should try it at least once. Iranian food is quite simple, rustic, mildly spiced and homely - classic comfort food. But don't let that fool you, it is flavourful and heartwarming.
Aosh (Soup) - A creamy slow cooked noodle soup with beans and vegetables topped with olive oil. It's like a warm hug on a winter night. It was served with traditional hard Irani bread (not broon).
Salad Olivieh - A light, tangy and creamy salad with shredded potatoes, chicken and vegetables. A true summer delight.
Kukuh Sabzi - This is a a baked omelette loaded with green leafy vegetables like spinach, dill, coriander and parsley. Minimal egg, just to bind everything together. It looks so amazing and tastes delicious. It is super healthy too. Almost tastes like Kothimbir Wadi.
Ghormeh Sabzi - Utterly delicious home style slow cooked stew. Kidney beans, parsley, coriander and succulent pink lamb on bone. Hearty, meaty and creamy served with steamed rice. It is their equivalent of 'Mummy ke haath ka Rajma Rice'! I cannot tell you how good this was.
Chello Kebabs - We were served 3 types. Buff and Chicken Koobideh, absolutely juicy succulent minced meat kebabs. Delicately spiced and heavenly. Next was Buff Barg or thin slices of meat perfectly grilled over charcoal! So juicy and smokey.
These kebabs were served with rice, flavoured with sumac (tangy Middle Eastern wild berry powder) accompanied with a spring onion, grilled tomato and butter. You are supposed to crush the tomato into the rice with butter and eat it with the kebab. Kebabs can be served with naan too. They also give you a delicious, tangy tomato sauce which is flavoured with cinnamon.
Zereshk Polo - This is Irani Berry Pulao, but a bit different from what you are used to. This is very mildly spiced with shredded chicken and tangy berries, and it isn't sweet at all, unlike what most places serve. Just a perfect balance of flavours.
Ice Cream with Rengineh - Vanilla ice cream with rengineh, an Irani sweet spice powder. Wheat flour cooked with cinnamon and dates. The aroma and taste with ice cream was just brilliant.
Bacalava - Irani style Bacalava. Sweet, nutty and delicious dessert to end the meal.
Irani Black Tea - Refreshing black tea served in the most beautiful traditional cutlery. The tea is poured out into a cup and poured back into the pot 3 times to brew it and then served. There is no sugar added but you chase the black tea with a bite of a date giving it wonderful sweetness and caramelized richness. The dates were imported from Iran and were just amazing.
This was one delicious and satisfying meal. Homely and soul satisfying food which has loads of traditional technique and love poured into it. The company and stories from the man himself, Mehdi, made it magical.
This Iranian or Persian food experience at Shisha Jazz Cafe is one not to be missed. They have these dishes on the menu all the time and is definitely what you should be ordering there. The soulful live Jazz music (Thursdays) and special performances like belly dancing etc along with the beautiful laid back Iranian bohemian decor, is just the cherry on top of the cake!
The perfect ambience for a perfect mood. The carpets, swords , hukkah and pottery which are kept on display are just wow. Feels royal. Must visit place.

Shisha Jazz Café is one of the well known places in Pune serving Iranian, Continental and North Indian Cuisine. The Restaurant has a very rustic and impressive ambience and feels cosy. I have visited this place in past but never tried the Irani cuisine which I do regret after my recent visit at Shisha. I recently got an opportunity to try their Iranian Cuisine which is prepared at the home of the owner, then transported daily at the restaurant and sevred as per portion size. We were welcomed by the owner Mr. Mehdi Niroomand who is one of the most humble, energetic and amazing persons I have met in my life.
Ash Reshteh: A thick and rich veg soup prepared with noodles, herbs and beans was excellent in taste. It was served along with a portion of irani bread which was extremely crunchy. #Recommended
Salad: Chicken salad prepared along with tomato cucumber was superb in taste, it was slightly tangy in taste. lt was so good that I had more than my share of this delicious salad. #Musthave
Kukah Sabzi: An omelette prepared with finely chopped assorted leafy vegetables and eggs was something which I had never seen. The egg portion was used in minimal quanity only to bind the leafy vegetables, it was mild on flavors yet it impressed me a lot. It was cut into small triangle shaped portion and was moist and very soft. #highlyrecommended
Chello Kebab: Chicken Seekh kebab served on a bed of plain rice which was drizzled with sumac and served along with grilled tomato portion, butter, onions and a secret in house prepared tomato sauce, it was tangy and superb in taste. The chicken kebab was extremely juicy and soft even after 15-20 mins after its arrival. It was indeed one of the best kebabs preparations which I have seen. #Musthave
Berry Pulao: This was the first time when I tried this delicacy and it was brilliant in taste. It was prepared which shredded chicken pieces and dried cranberries and well cooked long grain rice. Truly a delight to my taste buds. #Recommended
Desserts
Rangineh Ice Cream: Regular Vanilla Ice Cream topped with Ragineh powder prepared from wheat atta, dates and cinnamon which is roasted on slow flame for around 2-3 hours, it was heavenly in taste. I was really impressed and couldn’t believe that such simple ingredients can enhance the taste of an ice cream to such an extent. #Musthave
Baklava: An Irani verison of the popular Baklava was also extreme ly well done. It was not like the Baklava versions which I have tasted before which are flaky, this one was small diamond shaped cuts and was served warm and had thick filo sheets stuffed with nuts stuffing and was topped with coconut #Highlyrecommended
Irani Tea – Our meal ended with hot tea which was served along with excellent quality dates. Indeed a perfect ending to a memorable meal.
Overall: Service was exceptional; the lunch became more memorable with travel experience stories and some insights about Irani Food Culture by the owner Mr. Mehdi Niroomand. Thanks a lot Team Shisha Jazz Café for hosting us and Sasha Anand for the Invite.

Ambience is a unique in its own way. Transports you to a different world.seating arrangements are very comfortable, give you privacy and dont give you a crowded feel. Location of the property is catchy. Jazz music is soothing in itself. Live music bands keep you enthralled. We ordered LIIT which was upto the mark. We ordered bruschetta which was yum. Chicken biryani for main course was light ,chicken was soft and juicy, flavours were light and aromatic. Overall a good experience.
