Great service and food is good drink long Iceland ice tea really good friendly staff is very nice place I am so happy I am sure visit again.
Lives up to the expectations. Although the quantity is really less the taste of the food is really amazing. The staff is well behaved. Great for family dinners.
What I hear from friends is that there is much famous and well known restaurant in KP by this very name which is the 'original' one. Doesnt matter as long as its food we concerned about.
So this is a small place in DP Road. The food is decent at affordable prices. The drinks affordable too considering its bang on the DP Road. Ambience is average as its a small joint. Chicken 65, butter chicken, butter naan was good. The daal fry not so good. Loved the boiled peanuts served alongside drinks.
This is a good place to dine in if its decent food at decent prices you looking for in this area/locality.
Have been visiting this restuarant for a decade. What it used to be and serve 5 years back is not the same now. Have compromised on taste and hygiene. Strong needs an improvement in terms of ambience and cleanliness. Also needs to up the taste factor.
Found out from my colleague that "chicken tangdi" is famous inhere, but after going through the menu ordered something from my college days "chicken do pyaza". This dish carries this name coz it uses onions in two stages firstly while coooking and second time at garnish. The dish tasted amazing and i wish to go again here to try the same with my fellowmates. Quantity-4.5/5 Quality-4.5/5 Price 4/5
Visited this place ages ago and have been visiting since then but never ended up writing a review. They have very nice for Indian food. I forget what the dish is called but they have this chicken gravy preparation which is wrapped in an omelet which is absolutely insane. I'm a super duper fan of dal tadka and this place hits the sweet spot for me. No matter what I order I its compulsory that I get a dal for myself and if ppl wanna share we call for another one for the table.
Definitely visit this place if your are around this part of town !
This is truly one of the great Great Punjab Restaurants! Many with the same name (plagiarism ) came up much later without the genuine Panjabi flavour of the one and only really Great Punjab restaurant! The fact is that there were others, in other cities, called The Great Punjab, but what's in a name? Here we are talking about FOODS:
-Raan;
-Chicken Makhanwalla;
-Paneer, soft enough to melt in your mouth;
-crispy Naans;
-Roomali Roti!
Run for it and become a true Punjabi too!
There was nt much crowd as i had thought of, so was reconsidering my decision to go there.But the food was delicious.
The staff, was a bit late in response but they were very keen on maintaining cleanliness.Overall, worth giving a shot!
Authentic punjabi food. Proper parking, though crowded bit you always get a place there and the place is a luxury dining, a really sophisticated place and the food is mouth watering and great to have.
In terms of quantity the food sometimes get a bit low leaving that all good and people enjoy eating there.
Would recommend this place but even if you don't visit you won't be loosing a lot.😆😃😄😄
Great Punjab at DP Road has good food, Soothing Ambiance and Good service. It is a nice restaurant to visit. I had been there with a group of friends and we enjoyed the experience throughly. One thing one really should try out here is their Masala Papad. Amazing, huge one! You really will enjoy it!
Nice very small place. Food taste is really awesome, don't go by the looks of the restaurant from outside, try there food. I been there almost more than 10 times now and they have maintained there food taste and quality.
Staff is also limited and they remember if you are a frequent customer.
It's a proper bar cum restaurant.
For families will not recommend much since most of the people come there without there families.
Place is a little bit small and congested.
But food quality is awesome.
I liked the Chinese course much.
Prices are somewhat ok.
Not so expensive, if you are ready to spend for quality and service.
Overall good experience.
Give it a try.
Good and delicious food is available. Right in the middle of Pune city. Variety of Punjabi and North Indian foods are available. The disappointment is non-availability of the great Maratha Thali. The hotel is so packed and there is acute space-crunch. An A/c hall is available in the 1st floor, but only for a few table. Otherwise, the Punjabi hospitality is as usual so good.
Lovely place good food n full stocked up bar
A restaurant with punjabi taste and also serves drinks. Looks very small from the outside. but it is big and has separate room for family.
Overall has good taste and serves nicely. For dinner you can choose this one.

This afternoon, when we were that end, and at lunchtime, the particular bank counter closed for lunch. We too, decided to have our lunch closeby, in the meantime...
So it was Great Punjab Restaurant, Dhole Patil Road....
Had... Boneless Chicken Dopyaaza.... 290/- . It was different, than the usual one, but nice.
Normally, there are pieces of translucent onions too.
And Tandoori Butter Roti.... 22/-. Nice and soft rotis.
Whenever we are that end, around lunch time for our bank job, we end up having a meal here. Have had in the past 3-4 occasions. Like their North Indian food.
Small and neat!! Located in a busy area, but ironically near Ruby Hall.... Food is OK. Prices are a bit high, but the location is posh, so it's expected..! Cheers🍻
Nice place for all types of foods, tea, snacks, meals etc. Easily accessible from all parts of Bund garden area. Economical and service quality is good.
The food, particularly biryanis, is awesome. Not a great ambience but if you love spicy food, and some drinks, and do in low budget, this is the place!
