This place doesn't need a review. Malaka Spice in Pune is a landmark and I have been eating here for almost a decade and I still get surprised (in a good way) everytime I dine here or order delivery from here. What sets them apart is that they don't use online parcel delivery people but have their restaurant staff deliver. Makes a hell lot of difference when you see a guy with that familiar malaka shirt.

An awesome place for Southeast Asian food. The food here is really tasty. Went there with family to try out something new other than the regular Indian and Chinese we generally have, and the place did not let me down. Tried some Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian dishes and have no complains loved all of them.
The service here was also prompt. Our host was really courteous and also gave us some good suggestions to help us select our order.
Just one thing the menu here is a bit short than their Baner or KP branch and some of the dishes are not available here.

What a fantastic experience! Went here with my two foreigner friends at aroun 2.30pm and availed their unlimited food and drinks offer until 3.30pm. The staff was kind enough to allow us to sit much longer and gave as many drinks we asked for. Food is five star! Absolutely no complains, best southeast asian food I've had. Garlic fish is heavenly! Left the place with an overly filled tummy, very satisfied taste buds, and with a good kick of alcohol:)
This is my first experience with South Asia Food and the restaurant didn't let me down. We had requested the crew's advice for starters and we weren't disappointed. It was really good. The Thai Red Curry with chicken was simply awesome. The flavor and taste was really good. We had order one LIT and Sugar and spice cocktail which was nicely done. In the end, they also provided us complimentary brownie for the delay in serving us which was an icing on the cake. I'm glad that I took my husband's suggest to visit this restaurant. I would like to appreciate our server Mahesh for his service. It was spot on. 🙂

Paid a second visit to this place on a Friday night. We ordered one Burmese curry noodles, chicken dumplings, one mutton preparation as it was suggested by the waiter and boy it was worth the money we spent. The mutton was so delicate and the gravy was very flavourful however we dint quite like the curry which was served with the noodles. Dumplings were bit overpriced 3 pieces for 250 bucks! The place was crowded and service was slow, but the manager was very kind and helpful. All in all, since I love Asian cuisine I’ll definitely drop by once again!
If you have ever been to Pune. Malaka spice is a name you always hear and get suggested when you think of Asian cuisine. They live up to the hype and the food is exquisite. The mutton chops, Raw papaya salad, Soups you get at this place are out of this world! Not to mention the lovely lovely staff. Very courteous and helpful!

This authentic eastern cuisine restaurant is located in the Phoenix market City Mall, Viman Nagar. It has a somewhat normal Chinese decor which provides a very relaxed ambience. This place serves some of the best Japanese and Malaysian cuisine I've ever had in India. For starters we had ordered their wholesome ramen which is very fulfilling in itself. And chicken tempura which was deliciously crunchy. For the main course we had ordered the Malaysian shredded herb rice and malaka kapitan kari, which is a cashew based Malaysian Curry both of which were very tasty. Lastly, I'd recommend their mango sambar sauce which they had provided as a dip for the tempura is out of this world.
Visited on a Friday evening with family and surprisingly the place was half empty. This outlet has somewhat same vibe as KP but it is smaller.
The staff is courteous and humble.

Visited this place yesterday and absolutely loved it. The Prawns Tempura with the Mango sauce was simply amazing.
The person who waited on us, unfortunately we couldn’t get his name, was very courteous and we went by his suggestions for the main course which was a Malaysian curry of Chicken with a portion of lachha paratha and herbed rice. Simply amazing combination. Had also ordered a Singaporean Chicken rice and the balance of taste on the meal was brilliantly done.
During the course of our meal the person who waited on us, his shift had ended. So he came up to us and told about it and also said who would be there on his behalf. Now that’s professionalism.
All in all had a lovely time. 👍🏻 Would definitely visit again.
Amazing place! Real authentic food! We have been to Thailand n thses guys really replicate the taste. We had Pad thai noodles, Green pepper Chicken and Jagree icecream and all the 3 dishes were wonderful. A very intricately made menu. (Really want to make multiple visits to do justice to it). Very polite and helpful staff and good ambiance too. The pinch on the pocket was worth it!

If you have the tastebuds for South East Asian food then this is the perfect place for you. I had ordered Chicken Top Hats, Veg Top Hats , Veg Curry and Roti Canai. The taste was good as south east asian food is made in coconut oil. Only recommended if you like Asian food.

The top hats at Malaka spice are a must try! I tried a pepper mushroom starter which was great. Both their veg and non veg dimsum are amazing, if you’re looking for something similar to street momos. I would definitely give them 5 stars but their service was utterly slow when I visited.

It was pleasure to have dinner in Malaka spice, though we had our food in hurry as we had to catch flight but as soon as we requested to the staff, the food was served very quickly. I liked everything we ordered. The richness, flavours of the spices were fantastic.
The Malaka Tom Kha Chicken Soup - The soup was full of aroma and ingredients especially the 'coconut milk' gave it zesty flavour and creaminess! I was doubtful about the taste of coconut milk but thanks to recipe that now its amongst one of my favorites and i have also developed tastebuds for it.
Malaka Thai Red Curry- Combination of chillies, basil, chicken, coconut milk and tasteful of spices what a wonderful curry it was. I can still feel the taste of the curry. It was served hot and was more than enough for 2 people.
Malaka Herb Rice- Steamed rice with fresh Basil were perfectly cooked. Loved the taste of the rice. The fragrance of the dish was appealing.
Overall the ambience is good, value for money, quick service and great staff.

Perfect place to head if you are craving for some south East Asian food. They have a huge variety of Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese food and let me tell you everything tastes really well.

I visited this Malaka spice outlet recently .I’ve tried Chicken top hats and chicken dumplings ( must try) , the Burmese curry noodles and the sinful chocolate mousse cake . They also make great chicken / prawn satay .
When it comes to flavour and quantity of food definitely would give them 5 stars but the service was very slow and had to wait for a long time for the next course to come in !
This is an amazing place for mutton and chicken dishes. My personal favorite is the lamb chops. The dressing is this amazing combination of salty with a tinge of sweet which makes it perfect! I prefer these lamb chops over lamb chops from Farzi any day! You'll end up licking your fingers! Other dishes are a little too spicy, so be cautious to order the dishes with a red chilli drawn next to it. To put things into perspective, it's about five times spicier than paani puri water. My stomach was burning after three bites. Other than that the food is well cooked and well served.
. Try the peanut sauce. Unique with a burst of flavours. The green thai curry is amazing and worth trying out. Coming to the ambience, a warm setting welcoming a cozy conversation with friends and loved ones. The place has zomato gold as well. :) 👍🏻.

Malaka spice is one of the most famous asian restaurants in pune. Its first outlet is in Koregaon park. This outlet in Phoenix Market City is smaller to one in KP. Same with the ambience, KP has better ambience.
Malaka spice is one of my favourite restaurants because of its service. They are always there to help you out with the menu so that you never end up with ordering something you won't like.
We started with Madurasi soup. Not too spicy. Giner and chilli was adequate. In starter we ordered, dumplings and top hats. You get an option to order starters in small portion or large. I wish every restaurant should adapt this habit.
Dumplings was good. Top hats is something we tried for the first time. By adding sweet and spicy sauces (comes separately with starters), it tastes delicious. Best part, they will suggest you which sauce will tastes better with particular starter. An then we had Burmese curry noodles. Again something new. I did liks it but it had peanuts in it.
Overall I had awesome experience. If you want to try something new, then you must visit this place, although it is a bit expensive place.

Malaka Spice is the best place to satisfy your South Asian food.
Ambience is really good. They have a really nice collection of Red, White and Rose Wines. Staff is very friendly and they really serve you authentic South Asian food be it Thai, Malaysian or Vietnamese cuisine. Over here we have Thai Mutton Chops which were very well marinated and grilled with a peppery touch and along with that Kiwi Daiquiri (Kiwi and Peach frozen delight infused with White Rum) perfectly balances the flavour. This according to me is a must try starter of this place. Head to this place between 4 PM to 7 PM to get a 50% discount(this is a limited period offer). Go to this place for a good Asian experience.
Ramen being the another popular dish of Southern Asian continent is very well cooked in Malaka Spice, so you should definitely try this for the main course at this place. They serve two varieties of Ramen - Chicken and Prawns. A good place for lunch and dinner, prices a bit above average but it is totally worth it.
Tried this Zomato gold restaurant which offers two on two on drinks.for food ordered the chilly fish which was crispy outside and tender inside.
Malaysian debal chicken curry was spicy accompanied it with Malaysian herb rice.
Also tried the stir fried Singaporean chilly prawns which was juicy and not rubbery.the prawns were tossed to perfection.
For drinks I ordered the watermelon margarita and lit which was strong and not overpowering.they give you amazing kimchi and Malaysian Sambal on the side to have which is very authentic .

Being unwell over the weekend, I finally had to go out today and have something different to cure myself completely. Today was a really bad day since morning for some or the other reason, so had to make up for it. We went to Phoneix for dinner and the pati immediately chose @malakaspice , Sorted as I hate to choose. It was my second visit, first one was very restricted to just soup a year ago. This time we ordered a vegan pho soup, spicy noodles with farm vegetables from their vegan menu and sesame grilled mutton. The place is very cosy if I may say that and has very warm interiors. The only thing I may suggest them to improve is the chairs, quite hard and slightly uncomfortable. The staff is very courteous and have a fine idea of the dishes being served. The food is served piping hot in acceptable time. It's a clear soup with exotic veggies and not spicy but tasted amazing, slightly tangy and tad sweet. Perfect!! The noodles are wheat noodles,little sweet and with loads of veggies, but trust me when the name says spicy, they mean it...The initial bites won't be dangerous but buooooaaay it's is fire in your ears by the end of it..Mutton was delicious too.

Hi , I have been visiting malaka spice for nearly two decades now and i must say the food has been amazing since then. Recently i visited the outlet in pheonix market city, on Monday the 24th September 2018 , the food was nice i don't have any complaints, the service too was as usual no problem with that too. The problem was in the billing, we were there at around 6pm in the evening for the 50% discount menu.
To my surprise they have started charging 10% service charge that too not on the discounted amount but on the total amount before discount, secondly they gave me a bill with vat no on it, GST no did not exist. we did not call for any drinks also. our discounted bill amount was around 5300/- approx on which we have paid nearly 820/- as service charge.
my request to the concerned person is they should look into their billing system and rectify it if there's a mistake. or else atleast reduce the service charge to 5℅ because 10℅ for service charge is a little too much.

Malaka Spice... Been to their both locations Koregaon Park and Vimanagar and frankly speaking always they are best at their food and service.. However this review is specially for Malaka Spice Vimannagar.....they have a very good offer for lunch.. Fixed menu and served on table and yes lots of options in starters veg n non veg and also desserts.. I forgot to take a picture of their fixed menu... So I was veg but no regret of being veg... Bcoz their veg food was delicious and served sizzling hot and with smiling faces... My friends were non veg and they just kept appreciating the food from chicken to prawns and fish... Everything very very tasty... Then comes cocktails... That too unlimited... isn't it a STEAL... At only 599 plus taxes :)
One of the finest thai restaurant in the vicinity of phoenix. On wednesday they offer free wines for ladies. So we had red and white wine. Also we had a couple of good food, whose sauces were just mouth watering. Try out the place.

Visited this hotel last month after finishing the movie. If you visit this hotel after 10 PM they will give you 50% discount on food. It offers Thai, Vietnamese food. If you want to try something new,you can visit this hotel. Taste wise hotel is good. Outlet is small and I found it little congested.
If it is oriental it has to be Malaka Spice.. it's a treat to have them in phoenix. A well spent shopping day ends up in this wonderful place for amazing food and service.

After a not so good experience a couple or weeks back I got a call from Darren and invited me over to host me again for a chefs table (which I think was a very warm and welcoming move to win the trust back of their patrons including me)
So landed up here last Saturday.. Called up Darren and he reserved a table for us
Upon arriving we were greeted by Manu who escorted us to our table
Our server for the day was Raju
The place was packed again.. But this time there were many servers dedicated to their table.. So the feedback was taken extremely well
Raju and Manu both attended us thru out our meal time...
We felt like kings that day.. The food was as usual outstanding.. The service even better.. We had a huge spread of starters and a couple of rounds of Coctails.. We were so full with the starters that we just had Thai curry rice in mains

Visited the restaurant for the first time and will never regret it. One of the best south Asia restaurant in Pune for surely. The place is in Phoenix Mall 1st floor opposite to Croma. I had Thai green curry n thai spicy chicken rice. The staff is very good, polite and helpful with explaining the dishes perfectly. The food was excellent. The ambience was very good.

The food part the appetisers were awesome the fire cracker prawns too gud, my kid loved the perfectly fried chicken tempura for me the Thai mutton chops were just awesome again suggested by the server ( shri krishna) it was juicy n perfectly grilled. The problem I had was with the main course the kari kapitan n later changed wid chicken in devil sauce was not dat great now dat is according to my taste had cum here only for kari kapitan. But again the taste may vary frm person to person plz do visit the place for the awesome service n great appetisers. May b I'll cum back again for my kari kapitan nxt tym. Gud job guys.
