We went there on valentines day, it was a beautiful and romantic setup.

Everything from napkin to kebab was shaped as heart on this special occasion.

They have a fixed menu buffet and taste is worth the price.

Staff was thoroughly professional and courteus. They served food in a timely manner and drinks were of perfect temperature.

Live music was extremely soothing, kudos to the talented musician.

If you want to pamper yourself, definitely go to this place.

Thanks for Radisson for making this evening memorable.

The quality of food is amazing. It's my first time at Radisson kharadi, Pune. What a beautiful place for a birthday celebration. The staff is very friendly specially Akshay who take care of my table. The atmosphere is awesome. I like Andra Chooza,Pudina Seekh. Most people come there for celebrating a birthday party. Starter contains a lot of variation in the food. If you have sufficient time for the party then kabab factory is the fairest option.

If you are ready to pay out significant money and have strong appetite do visit this place, the ambience was really good before it was torn down for encroachment... the various themes and festivals are real treat.
they should consider making more authentic food items, When i recently visited this place they were celebrating the Royal Kitchen of india festival ..Where they serving lacknow and Hyderabadi cuisine we really enjoyed with spicy chatpata starter,The restaurant is full still we got the good service and on time starters on table.

In Indore they have Lucknowi daal which is slowly cooked overnight is famous but here dal factory is signature dish same cooking process.. these kinda of dishes would make the difference

The barbeque nation is my friend all time favourite but this time he took it to the The great kabab factory we really felt shock with delicious kabab and tikka..as I am pure vegetarian and he eat everything generally people say there is not much variety in veg starter but kabab factory made us thinking wrong they got so many varieties of vegetarian starter which I never before .They got 6 vegetarian and 6non vegetarian starter like unlimited .But the server Akshay made us to try 9starter in vegetarian. Service by the Akshay is very quick before we finishing our one starter he get ready for next..He explained everything deeply about the starter..We both enjoyed a lot has we got full with the starter we are skipped for the main course. The dessert is also the best part.We finished our dinner with Sweet Masala Paan.

We mainly had starter was simply superb.
Each one had its own flavour and the meat was tender literally falling off the bone.
Tried-Gaulti kabab,Amritsari Chooza,Prawns,Chicken tikka,Seekh all are really good.
Since we are full we don't tried much in main course but tried Gosht Rogan Josh and laccha the paratha was really good with proper juicyness.
The seating and ambiance feel you a factory look.
The service is prompt and courteous.

Dessert is the my favourite part we enjoyed all the dessert like rasgulla ,mango kulfi, beetroot halwa and gulab jamun

We used to visit this place in 2011-14 a lot, as lot of our business clients used to stay in Radisson. Recently, when we were in the area, we dropped by. We always saw this as sophisticated Indian Dining.

Our server Sudesh was a polite and knowledgeable about menu. He was a patient listener. He clearly knew his job and seem to love it. I guess India is moving to a new breed of servers that can look global.
This place boast its Gulati kabob and for a good reason. I had to repeat it.

When we used to repeat, price was a few hundreds more, but meal included soup as mutton paya, if I remember correctly.

I feel this place is very capable of 5-stars, but trying to bring a dinner at 1299 ccreates some challenges for them. They could put some of their classics like paya soup and (non-basa) fish kabobs as a la carta. They could probably reduce selections a bit and focus on the quality they are really capable of delivering.

It is indeed a still top 10 capable place in Pune!

The existence of Kebabs in the culinary world can be traced way back to the 10th century where they were first made in the Middle East. Since then, kebabs found their way into the kitchens of Royal Kings and rulers as it was then considered a treat that met the tastes of those who belonged to the royal families.

I had visited this place a few days ago and I was surprised with the variety that they had. They serve starters, main course as well as desserts which is served directly from the pan! You can enjoy your food directly from the pan to your plate.
When we think of kebabs we usually think of mom vegetarian dishes but this place has equal number of vegetarian options to try from

Every kebab that I tried here was absolutely delicious.
Their staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and this place is definitely value for money considering the quality of food that they provide.

Came across this hidden gem of Radisson Blu hotel located in Kharadi near Reliance Mart.

Came across via friend who recommended this outlet to try the unlimited kebab Mela whereas the service from first course till 8th course is done on the table not a regular buffet setup. A pure fine dining experience of ultimate Indian kebab and curry delicacies.

Food specially the kebabs were awesome ,well marinated, juicy , succulent and superliscious flavours.

Pieces were big of meats not like small tiny burnt pieces of chicken or lamb.

Loved the Galouti kebab which was served on some saffron flavoured bread piece and drizzled with mint sauce on top.Soft like chocolate which melts in your mouth when you try this awesome kebab.

Hara masala prawn was delicious and we'll flavoured and we'll cooked was served on bed of a poppadum.

Amritsar Aloo kebab - no words for it - never tried kebab of this soft texture.
We'll cooked in clay oven with flavour some spices and herbs.

Tandoori chicken and fish Amritsari was good too

They signature mocktail " GUAVA PUNCH " is a must try - guava flavoured chilled and refreshing mocktail flavoured with chaat masala and spiced with tabaso sauce - A sweet and sour melanga

They served us Lassi and chaas ( taak ) too as a palate cleanser and some warm gujrati sweet bread with traces of nuts.

DAL FACTORY - Was like having a chocolate pie - Super delicious dal so soft it melts in your mouth which the manager mentioned they cook the deal overnight for some 12-15 hours - That's their speciality.

Main course lamb curry - Rogan Josh wasn't that great as per my palate and taste buds.

Chicken curry was good too.

Dessert they served us assortment of sweets like sabudana rabdi, paan kulfi and gulab jamun and yummy gaajar halwa.

Ambience was very simple to resemble to touch of a factory as their brand name I believe

Music was soothing and we'll synchronized as per the theme and decor of the outlet

Quite a spacious restaurant - While having our dinner I noticed there was a Private Dining Room for families too.

Overall a great dining experience - Was treated like a royal person by there associate Ajay ( if I am correct ) and the chef in charge Vijay.

Manager Adeet was good in his hospitality services and courteous too.

Will surely plan to visit soon with more family and friends

Keep up the good work guys

Cheers

The Great Kebab Factory at Radisson Blu was started in 1998 in many cities across the country. It also has its presence in Dubai now. The décor and interiors are the same across all the outlets giving it a factory finish through its rustic brick exposed walls. The ambience gives the feel of luxury dining with its warm and cosy vibes. The place is perfect to dine with the family on a special occasion, or with a spouse for a perfect date.

One of the great kebab experiences. The great kabab factory is the perfect place for meat lovers.

It's a eat all you can for ₹1199 (+taxes)

it's a big restaurant with ample seating. loved the ambiance here. they have some great classy pieces of furniture at the entrance and around the whole place.

the staff is very friendly and prompt. the manager was a real gentleman in explaining how the whole concept works.

The food: we started with a chefs special salad and some crisp papads which came along with different chutneys.

The Mutton galauti is a specialty here and it hadn't changed one bit since my previous visit here 4 years ago. also loved the Mutton seekh kebabs, Murg ka Chooza, Bhatti ka Jhinga, Fish Fry, Kolhapuri Paneer Tikka and other vegetarian starters.
I was primarily targeting all the non vegetarian food, I couldn't resist savouring the vegetarian stuff. it's probably the best vegetarian starters I've ever had. it's highly recommended for vegetarians.

The main course too was wonderful we had dal factory which is an upgraded version of dal makhni, Mutton Rara which was absolutely on point perfect for my palate and Chicken Chettinad which had the perfect South Indian flavour too it. this along with some butter naans and Chicken Dum Biryani.

for desserts we had ras malai, gulab jamun, paan flavour kulfi which directly brought in from Delhi. loved the kulfi. although i think they need to game up their desserts game after setting a very standard with the food.

Special Shout out to Chef Sandeep for being very articulate with the presentation of every dish.

The Great Kebab Factory a fine dine place within a 5 star property Radisson.

This place is known for the delicious Indian Food and the beautiful ambience. They have more than 450 types of kebabs on their Menu, from which they serve 6 types each in Veg and Non veg everyday.

We started our meal with Corn Salad which was served in a miniature cooker, loved the presentation and subtle taste of it. Later we had a refreshing drink made with mint, like Panipuri ka Pani, with a Masala poori placed on top of the glass. This was to refresh our taste palate.

Galouti Kebab: Main attraction from this place, prepared from more than 80 different spices sourced from all over the country. These kebabs were served on small roti. It was very smooth in texture and had a blast of flavors in it.

The Paneer Tikka: It was smooth, well marinated and cooked to perfection went well with the green chutney.

The pineapple chaat : It was a pieces of pineapples grilled using barbeque sauce and served with spices sprinkled over it. Totally loved the Juicy, spicy and sweet pineapple chunks.

The Dal Factory: This is the signature dish from their Main course menu. This Dal needs 16 hours preparation time. The rich, creamy and smooth Dal wins your heart. Even after having so many starters I had two bowls of this Dal, it was that amazing.

Nothing can beat the Indian desserts. We had Gulab Jamun, Angoori Rasmalai and Pan Ice-Cream.I loved the Pan Ice cream the most.

They have a set menu but every day you will find different different dishes from there large menu.

Overall, we had a great time. We not only enjoyed the food but also we got to know a lot about the Ingredients, how much time and effort goes into making each and every dish perfect.

The Great Kabab Factory is a stylish Indian Speciality restaurant offering a Authentic Indian Dining Experience fit for Royalty. A different menu is set for each day from a recipe bank of 450 recipes passed on from generations. You get unlimited servings of each dish but better to take it easy, because the food just keeps getting better and better.
Coming to the food:
1. Galouti Kabab, prepared from 86 different ingredients sourced from all over the country, this is as rich as a kabab can get. Soft in texture, it melts into a pool of flavours the moment it enters the mouth. After all the dish was discovered for a toothless king.
2. The Rai Chooza is a form of tangdi kabab but much more spices and flavours, almost makes the traditional tangdi kabab look very boring.
3. The Mahi Fish Fry was cooked to perfection and added a good chatpata twist to the experience.
4. The Murgh Tikka was definitely the best of the lot after the Galouti. You will not find a more succulent chicken Tikka then the one served here.
5. The Prawns were crunchy with crisp texture when you first bite into it. They were tender and perfectly cooked.
6. The Dal Factory was so good, you could almost have it as a soup. They start work on the Dal a day before it's served with a 24 hr stove time before it ends up on the table. It reminded me of the famous Dal Bukhara of Delhi.

A platter of desserts in the end leaving you with long lasting memories, and much appreciation to the staff behind the unique preparations the Great Kabab Factory has to offer.

The Great Kebab factory, the name itself rings a non-veg-friendly bell in your mind and I entered the place with the same presumption. Being a vegetarian, I thought I will miss the signature dishes of the place.
Well, I did miss the actual galouti kebab, but good news, dear vegetarians, these guys have an amazing spread on their menu for us too.

The extremely courteous staff explained the menu and the specialities quite elaborately and I couldn’t wait for it to start.

First came a platter of freshly cut plain salad items, to munch while we waited for the kebabs.
They also served a palette cleanser, styled like Pani Puri with a twist, the "paani" was a refreshing mix of celery, mint, ginger etc.. Alongwith came a corn salad with a sprinkling of tomato, onion and mild lime dressing. Extra marks for serving it in the toy Hawkins pressure cookers!

The menu had 6 veg starters, 4 main course dishes and 4 desserts. If you want to make the most of it, have light/no lunch (because they are only open @7pm everyday for dinner).

Starters: The star of the menu was served first, the Subz Galouti kebab. Honestly, the best galouti kebab I have had in life. Melting in the mouth, it was so good that I could eat only that for dinner. This is the only item I repeated.

The paneer tikka was smooth, marinaded and cooked to perfection. Even i the Achari Tandoori aloo was just the right level of soft. Tasted great. I am not a fan of potatoes when it comes to starters, but this i wouldn't mind eating some more.
The mushroom kebabs were yummy and the seekhs were average. The pineapples were lip-smackingly sweet, sour and spicy.

Main Course: We were too stuffed with the starters to enjoy the main course. However, the Palak Paneer and Dal Sultani were mouth-watering. They prepare their makhani daal with a recipe that starts almost a day before it is served and every bite of it is worth it.
Subz Handi was the only thing in the menu that disappointed me.
Dum Biryani was Lucknowi style and a pleasant change from the regular Hyderabadi biryani.

Desserts: My favourite part of any meal! The desserts were good too.
I love Langcha and the filling here gave it the royal touch.
The Dudhi halwa was yummy as well. I did not really like the ras malai. The rasgullas were not very soft. Perhaps they use the canned ones. Not sure!
The Paan kulfi (they also had malai) delivered a perfect climax. And if you are not a fan of paan in the form of kulfi, they offer actual meetha paan too!

All the dishes were served one by one on the table without any overlapping so that you are not rushed into gobbling anything up. Each dish is brought steaming hot when you are ready to dig in. That is exactly how I like it, to savour each part.

The décor is beautiful. Love the ambience and lights (just that the lights aren’t great for photos).
In terms of price, I personally feel there should be some variation in veg/non-veg prices or weekday/weekend price. Vegeterian dinner @ 1400 rupees is a bit steep.
Definitely recommend this place go with family or friends, for office parties. I am going again soon!!

We had an exceptional dining experience at The Great Kabab Factory. A great family time well spent together relishing some mind blowing succulent melt in mouth kababs. TGKF is located in Kharadi at Radisson Blu Hotel.
As we entered, We were warmly greeted by Vishal, assistant manager of the restaurant. Our server Sudesh briefed us about the menu. We got a comfortable seating arrangement done by the staff & manager, and we were highly impressed of the same. Our gastronomical journey started with a healthy corn salad that was beautifully served in a miniature cooker and a refreshing drink made with mint and celery with a crispy poori placed on top of the glass. This salad along with the drink was served before the start of the appetisers ( kababs) and this did tantalise our palate.
Then an array of kababs started rolling one after the other. We started with their signature galouti kababs which was beautifully presented on a soft flat taco and we had to roll and hv it like the Mexican tacos. It had such delicious flavours and just melted in my mouth on it’s very first bite. My favourite was the Ajwaini Mahi Tikka & Prawns Koliwada.
In veg kababs, my favourite was Kabuli Chana Tikki, and the succulent mildly spiced Achari Paneer Tikka & Dahi ke kabab. I also loved the grilled pineapple. Their chaas (buttermilk made with some spices) was out of the world. This is the first time I relished some real delicious refreshing spiced buttermilk full of flavours. The four variety of dips/sauce ( curd based, mint based, tamarind based & tomato based) paired well with the kababs and the roasted papad.
By this time we were almost full with the kababs. We took a 10 minutes break & decided to head for the main course. I had their signature Dum Biryani and Lal Maas. Lal Maas, a slow cooked Rajasthani lamb dish just melted in my mouth with a burst of flavours. I loved the Dal that was perfectly cooked.. & took the main course to a next level..
My family too loved the aroma, the mildly spiced & slow cooked Dum Biryani, subz Biryani & Dal Factory. Dal factory that was an excellent take for the Dal Makhani that was well prepared with spices & slow cooked for hours to get creamy delicious taste from the spices & lentils. And this dish had great flavours. Perfectly paired with the soft naan and the Biryani. We had a splendid time with family at The Great Kabab Factory.
We once again took a small break and then headed towards the dessert counter. Paan Kulfi was served on our table.. In the dessert counter, There was the Bengali Bharwan Langcha, a twist to the Gulab jamun but was a little over sweet to my liking. But I liked the texture. I liked laukki halwa .
Ras Malai was kind of ok.. could have been better. The star of the dessert was definitely the paan kulfi.
Ambience is spacious, beautiful and a factory type look. Something different & pleasing to the eyes. Music that was played took me back to old hits of 80’s & 90’s music that was soothing to the ears and melodious.
Overall we had a great dining experience and the evening well spent together with family & some delicious food that was served at its best. Thank you team TGKF for the impeccable service and making our family dining experience memorable. Sincere Thanks to Sudesh for his great service and Chef Sandeep for bringing out the best in every single dish at TGKF. I would definitely visit this restaurant more often as kababs are our all time favourite. If you are a kabab lover, then this is definitely the right choice. Don’t miss out on their Guava drink.. the glass was beautifully rimmed with Chaat masala & it was one of the best chilled drink made with some spices & Gauva pulp. My overall rating for this restaurant is 4.5 but Zomato does not have that option.

Pune food scenario has seen a rise in buffet restaurants recently with a profusion of new concepts. The Great Kebab Factory Radisson opens several notches above them, with the legendary Brand raising the bar for an epicurean extravaganza. An established name in the affluent localities of South Delhi since 1998 with several outlets, is all set to glide a new pathway at Kharadi Pune.
TGKF is a fine dine restaurant with a flair for Kebabs and north Indian cuisine that unfolds to a surreal dining experience. The whole mood sets in with the fact that that the restaurant has a menu that changes every day boasting a variation of 450 kebabs with the royalty served on table unlike other buffets. Each kebab is special with recipies deeply woven from the Indian kitchens. A story  of kebabs that starts from Delhi and spreads across like fire across the globe is an indication enough to make sure you visit this place.

Ambiance - A debonair den embellished with a factory theme is quite contrasting. The entire setup is quite rustic yet executed with an inimitable degree of finess. The unfinished brick walls give a unique look to the place. The  grey bordered ceiling catches your eye with its industrial cut outs. Wooden flooring, antiques, barells, Cages add to the virtual factory feel. Even the Chandeliers compliment the entire theme.  A smart open kitchen counter at the center attracts your eye with the scenario of food flowing thru and fro. The entire space is very well managed with comfortable seating. A separate arena for large groups is done very aesthetically. The entire atmosphere is highlighted in shades of golden caramel grey and browns.

TGKF is briefly an unmatched buffet dining affair. My food experience at TGKF began with an admiration at the innovations in  hospitality here  -right from the Fruit chat served while we were waiting for the course to begin. A round of Palate Cleansers in between meals to create an empty canvas for tasting. Special mention to the Modern style Pani Puri platter served in the beginning. Cute  micro Cookers filled with corns was eye-catching. Cutting glasses with the paani shots that were refreshing. I started off with an interesting mocktail - a concoction of Peru orange and crushed chilies. A perfect drink to go wit the kebabs. Aptly named the Maratha Empire.

Galouti Kebab - These kebabs have a very old history. Legend goes that the Nawab of Lucknow had grown old and couldn't chew as his dentures were  almost out. His uncontrollable appetite for kebabs were driving the chefs crazy. So for their toothless Nawab, the royal khansamas came up with a popular variant which needed no chewing yet had the same rich flavours and taste of a kebab. Thus Galouti was born to continue this long lecacy. If the king today tasted the Galouti at TGKF he would definitely be filled with Gratification. The kebab was so soft that it was falling of my fingers. Made with 300 spices this was a royal treat. To add to the glory it was plated on a tray with a server that looked like factory instruments

Lahori Kukkad - You have got to have a strong appetite to finish this alone. Its  Lahori style roast chicken which is a very renowned dish in and around Lahore  Extremely rich, flavorful dish made with chicken leg pieces marinated in a special  masala consisting of a smooth paste that was nicely coated into the chicken. The aroma and flavour of mint, coriander paste and ghee was prominent. This came in a sizzling pan with hot ghee poured creating a stirring sound and bbq atmosphere.Enjoyed 2 big pieces with pickled onions.

Patiyala Fish - Crisp crunchy outside, soft and mushy inside, these amazing fish patiyalas made my day. The presentation was stellar with uneven  fish croquettes placed beautifully on a bed of cream and decorated with a avacado paste and sprinkled shev. Yes our very own shev with the fish was an amazing fusion.

Hare pyaaz ghost ki seekh -Mouth watering tender mutton seekh kebab cooked in traditional Indian spices. I am a fan already of this muttony delight, one bite of this gorgeousness is enough to fall in love with it.The mix of onion and garlicy flavour adds to the extra punch. The kebab was plated on a banana leaf with thin stirps of red cabbage and lemon.

Amritsari murg Tikka - The Murg tikka with a Swag. These juicy delicious tikkas came with a Hot charcoal that highlighted my temptation into devouring these immediately. A nice smoked aroma and flavour filled my muzzle with pleasure. Succulent chicken tikkas in hot spices that were tandorred to perfection.

Ajwani Fry Jhinga - A simple homestyle prawn fry with a hint of carrom seeds and asofideta. The balance of spices was perfect. Indeed this  an amusing appetizer loved by all. This was served with  mint and green mango chutney and garnish with salad leaves dressed in lemon oil dressing. The plating was the highlight of this dish with beautifully placed apostrophes with a layer of crumbles on a white slate marble.

I was highly impressed with the service at TGKF, Hot kebabs kept coming till the time I was stuffed and couldnt eat a bite anymore. Yet I was all curious to taste the Dal Makhni style dal factory as I have tried it at many places and only landed in disappointment.I asked them to serve the curries and daal makhni in a bowl

DAAL Factory  - I was elated to taste this daal here, although it wasn't completely authentic daal makhni types  but it had that luxuriance in quality and texture. The silky smooth copious daal  is a pleasure to the taste buds. The flavors were bang on with spice levels balanced and no empowering flavors. Loved it!! I gulped down the entire bowl in seconds with sheer admiration of the technique of this slow cooked daal. Can declare this as the best Daal  of the season so far.
Apart from this I also tasted the Bhuna Ghost, Murg Makhani and the Murg Biryani  wich were average,I found them to be good nothing special or  maybe because I was loaded with the above delicacies by then. The biryani was bit Bland for my palate. Slightly aromatic with minimal spices. According to the chef its specifically made that way in contrast to the spicy kebabs. The laccha paratha served with the mains was amazing.

Desserts - The entire food feast came to a sweet end with some extremly delicious Lauki ka halwa - that was not too sweet, so i loved having it.
Angoori Rasmalai that was soft and Fresh.
Bharwan langcha = to our Gulab Jamun  was heavenly and
Paan Ice cream was outstanding and a clear winner.

Overall Brilliant food, great service and an impeccable experience . It is indeed a pleasure to dine at places with rich Indian food heritage. The chefs here are quite knowledgeable considering the fact that they are masters of kebabs in 300 different recipes.Chef Sandeep has done wonders with the use of spices and techniques. Every day at TGKF is a new day.

Good ambiance,great service,greatest food.
That's all I can say abt this restaurant. When i entered, I thought I made a mistake as it was quite place with instrumental music. But then started the real magic. One after the other continuous service of food with courteous service was what made my perception wrong. Trust food at this place speaks about itself so loud that your palate start dancing. Wonderful place for people who would love to taste real mughlai cuisine. It's true love for food by chef here that makes entire difference.

Why do you require abs when you can have Keb-abs 😊

The Great Kabab Factory !! Naam he Kaafi hai to get me drooling on those fantastic kebabs and delicacies & this recent outing of mine was no different from the expectations I had ❤️

The food here is literally a piece of art that very few can Master, though the Biryani didn’t quite blow me away but the Kebabs especially the Galawati & Sufiyana Jheenga were absolutely mind blowing !

Out of 12 Kebabs, at-least 10 were quality stuff and we had a fantastic time tasting all of them. The Mains were decent and the desserts were cool too especially their Signature Paan Kulfi that’s sourced all the way from Delhi to serve the same consistent taste Pan India 😍

The Galawati Kebab had that smoky flavoured and coupled with its melt in the mouth texture was a winner all the way.

The Prawns Kebabs - Sufiyana Jheenga was flavourful and devoid of any pungent smell that can put off people and this was one preparation we ordered a number of times during the course of the meal.

The surprising element though were the vegetarian kebabs which almost matched their non vegetarian counterpart - this coming from a hardcore non vegetarian like me is a testimony to their fantastic preparations.

The hospitality extended by their Restaurant Manager Mr Adeet Mohurle & his staff was fantastic to say the least. Thanks Mr. Vivek Joshi for having us and special Thanks to their Executive Chef @chef.sandeep.srivastava17 for dishing out one wonder after the other and spending your valuable time with us on the Table.

At 1199++ this culinary experience is Total “Paisa Vasool” and if somehow you have been living under a rock and have never visited TGKF so far, it’s about time you do yourself a favour and give them an urgent visit 🤓

Well the name says it all.. The great kabab factory is serving some lip smacking kababs and much more.. They have more then 300 recipes of kabab which are on rotation everyday, so that you don't have to eat the same thing everyday. And as it may sound like a paradise to non vegetarian, for vegiterians it's even bigger and better.. Lots of option to choose from with lots of fusion and uniqueness. They also have different pallet clencer in between meals.
Starting with the appetisers
First we had the corn and pea chat which was presented so beautifully and the taste was light and refreshing with a hint of lime.
Then the starters
I really liked the ghost gauloti kabab with ulthe tave ka paratha.. It had 72 spices in it which made it so extraordinary and flavourful plus it was really moist and melt in you mouth good. Then the brocoli kabab was something so simple yet so scrumptious, never thought a brocoli can hold so many flavours. Then talking about innovative dishes salmon tikka and naduru ke kabab was extraordinary and had so many different flavours yet felt like home. All the other thinks like chicken tikka garlic butter prawns were just another addition in my favourites.. All though its all about kababs one should not miss their main course specially the DAL FACTORY well its cooked 16 hrs atlest which makes it so delicious so scrumptious that it melts rather desolves in your mouth. Coming on to the desserts they can experiment more, any how the kulfi and rasmalli was amazing.

The Great Kabab Factory, Radisson Blu, Kharadi, Pune.

When you say kabab then only nonveg that what comes in our mind but TGKF is breaking the boundaries and serving the best vegetarian Indian Mughlai cuisine (Of course they are serving non-vegetarian cuisine too).

The Great Kabab Factory (TGKF), is a contemporary and stylish Indian specialty restaurant born with the creation of the first restaurant at the Radisson Hotel Delhi in 1998. The restaurants overwhelming successful journey leads to franchising the brand, leading to an incredible growth in such a huge way that you find presence across four countries, making it one of the largest Indian restaurant chains in its category. Here in Pune TGKF is serving exquisite Indian flavors in the form of kabab and other recipes. To make the kababs tasty and authentic they use 47+ types of secret spices. And these ancient recipes made with modern techniques in the open kitchen gives you the same royal feel and taste at the Radisson Blu, Kharadi, Pune.
The restaurant has a rustic and warm lit ambiance and comfortable seating which gives you a very homely feel.

In the beginning, they gave us fruits, Jaljeera Papadi and Green apple- walnut salad along with boiled corn bhel as a palate cleanser.

I tried following delicacies at the TGKF:

Kababs:
Subz Galouti Kabab: Soft and mouth melting served on small Paratha.

Kandhari Paneer Tikka: This was my most favourite, medium spicy soft paneer cubes grilled to perfection and perfectly flavoured that you can enjoy the taste of each spice as well as the smokey flavour of the grill.

Punjabi Aloo: marinated baby potatoes grilled and served on papad crunch.

Matar Cheese ki Tikki: Cheese filled authentic green peas tikki. Soft and nice in taste but I would love if there was more cheese.

Tandoori Kumbh: Mushroom Kababs made with button mushrooms marinated in medium spicy red gravy and grilled to perfection so that flavour of the spices and mushroom can be enjoyed.

Koobideh Kabab: It was like spring rolls but filled with sweeter side stuffing of veggies and spices. It was mild to sweet in flavour and the crunchy outer coating was adding fun.

Pineapple Chaat: Pineapple pieces grilled using barbecue sauce and sprinkle with spices and served on a sizzler plate. It was spicy on the outer side and sweet and juicy from the inside.

Mains:
Dal Factory: It was their signature dish in the main course section. As they said it was prepared in a very slow cooking process. It takes almost 16+ hours to make it. It was creamy and having smokey flavour.

Paneer Butter Masala

Subz Dum Handi

Desserts
Bharwan Langcha: Rose flavoured Gulab jamun served very hot.

Moong Dal Halwa: Normally we get the halwa which is having lots of ghee but this was dry so didn't impress me.

Angoori Rasmalai: It was okiesh.

Kulfi: They have different flavours of kulfies like mango and pan masala was the most popular one.

Overall this is the best place to have Indian/ Mughlai food in Pune with family, friends or colleagues.

Every day they have a set menu but you won't find it repetitive as they have the number of recipes. The charges for the same are flat ₹1199++ per person for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian unlimited food. It sounds bit unjustified as for non-vegetarians have more options and vegetarians have limited choices but the food is worth trying.

THE STORY OF THE GREAT KABAB FACTORY

#MOSHEZZFOODGASM
#IWASINVITED
#HAPPINESSSERVED
#longpostalert

MOSHEZZ our kitty cat was missing her Lucknow and Delhi days badly. When moshezz misses any place you know for sure for what….yes indeed its for the food. Its for the warmth and love that eludes her soul and the ay to her tummy or her soul or her heart is food..n good food for that!! Zameer came to the rescue and told Moshezz that he could churn up some really finger licking ,etched in memory forever kababs and biriyani for her and she should visit him and the great Kabab Factory for the awesomeness of a platter.Divine love for kababs followed. Read on to know more.

Saturday evenings are the best times to be with the best company and for Moshezz nothing can be better when Atranggi and Ninja decides to join in to give her foodgasmic spirit a little tease and help her allow food to journey to her soul. The Great Kabab Factory is a journey of food to your soul. It beckons you to indulge with its awesome spread table buffet to mush up over the delights of Biriyani and kababs. And this time the joy was threefold as the vegetarian dishes were equally wondersome and Ninja did not miss out on the goodness of North served in the West.

The Great Kabab Factory post its revamp is a stellar to the hilt. It claims and gracefully can take the throne next to the other awesome kabab stellar place in Aamchi PUNE. The place looks welcoming and the caramel interiots and the contemporary set up with a few rustic walls gives you a feel of both the world and you a jolly good happy person as the kababs get laid down at your table. The culinary journey begins with chef Zameer and Chef Srivastava.

As Moshezz Ninja and Atrangii comfortably numbed themselves to the hospitality that followed the first thing that enthralled their evening was the ever so nice GALOUTI KABAB (VEG &NON VEG). This were top notch creations of the evening and seemed that royalty walked in through the gates to embrace this trio with some good faith that good food is here to stay. As Moshezz pawed into the first galouti warmly residing over the cute small paratha the melt in mouth kababa just trespassed its way smoothly down her an what followed was the taste of lamb smothered into apaste with the essences of kewra rose water and ittar doing the magic post that. She forgot the world for a while …foodgasmed over this and yes truly this Galouti was A MUST HAVE DEFINITELY HAVE RECOMMENDATION.

THE CHUKANDARI PANEER TIKKA AND THE NADUR CHEESE KE GULLAR would definitely give a stiff competition to each other as they tried to please Ninja and woo her. She was smitten and the happy glint in her eyes and smiles spoke tall about them in unison. Both were well perfected and delectable. DO TRY THESE AND FOODGASM.

THE GOSHT GILAFI SEEKH KABAB heralded its entry to the table. Moshezz had lost hope on Sheekh kababs in Pune as most places make tall claims but what ends up in your plate is a totally dried out utterly disappointing version. But what Chef Srivastava and Zameer created on that Saturday evening was par excellence. The minced lamb did not dry out and the juicy lamb was enamoured well with the masalas and soft well textured not dry at all pleasures took Moshezz to the seventh heaven. The robust flavours just stay with you and you crave for every bit of Lucknow to happen to you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The KALI MIRCH MURGH TIKKA was an absolute delight. The peppery taste was perfect for the Monsoon Saturday deluge that Atrangii indulged in. He loved it to the core. Walloped off every bit of it of it from his plate and gave a long satiated happy burp. He was happy to come for this delightful evening with Moshezz. The love birds cosied up to each other and click click Ninja took some happy pics. Love is so swooned up when it meets food…foodgasms totally. EAT AND DELIGHT ..RECOMMENDED WITH LOVE

NINJA by then had a few BHARWAN ALOO AND KALE KI TIKKI. She told Moshezz to purr over a few and the Bharwan aloo was super delicious. The khoya inside and the robust masalas made it a vegetarian delight. Now no vegetarian will ever ever complain that The Great KABAB factory is partial towards the No vegetarians for sure. Every bit of delectable super droolable delicious cheffy delights by Zameer and SRIVASTAVA will melt your heart and you will be spoiled for choices. The Kale ki Tikki was an usual raw banaba tikki but what was best was the green dip chutney that came along with it. The dip and dunk of the tikkis was a monsoon drenched entwined love story. DO COMPULSIVEY GO FOR THESE.

THE RAI MAHI FRY AND RAMPURI CHOOZA chose to please the five senses and the BHATTI DA JHINGA did spoil the Bong lived a while in the North and indulged in lucknowi delighted soul a tad bit more. The rawas was well fried and emanated the flavours without dishonouring the fresh taste of the fish with the strong masalas. Subtle flavours for both the jhinga and the mahi. This MAHI pleases you like our Mahi on field. Delight at evry stroke..ahem..i mean every licked up pawed bites.

While the array of kababs leaves you soulfully satiated and tummyfuly filled, TGKF does not cease to stop pleasing you . In comes the CURRIES AND THE BIRIYANI. You know you are ull but the look at these on the table well laden for you just makes you tell your greedy soul …forget it dive in….The KASHMIRI GOSHT is a signature dish indeed. The curried happiness with one bite of butter naan will ask you to next time eat a little less kabab and a have a little more curry. It wins you hands down. The gosht is so godamn well cooked that you forget all your table etiquettes and you just keep licking your fingers . such is the happiness that good food gives. The ROGANI MURGH will tease your senses and as the flavoursome curry will get to you. Moshezz has decided next time her visit to the TGKF will be to indulge in the curries. Morsel full of them.

The BIRIYANI ….OH yes the biriyani…yes the biriyani leaves you speechless. This is the apple that chef provides you as Adam did to Eve and teases you to come back and again come back…sinful…the perfect dum given to the biriyani and the best fried onions and infused flavours with good softened mutton on a bed of basmati long grained just creates the scene for love. Love pure and yet sinful. GO MADLY INSANELY FOR THIS ONE. SUPERB

The DAL FACTORY is foodgasmic at every bite. The dal tells you yes she has been soaked and basked for 12 hours atleast before she landed on your plate. The dal is smoky buttery creamy and the chef tells this is here to stay. The dal will leave you wheter you are the go green veggie soul or the hard core meaty kinsman asking for one bowl more. This is a total well signed off for a beautiful eveing.DO TRY FOR MOSHEZZ SAKE.

The small bite size portions of the BHARWAN LENGCHA THEBEETROOT HALWA THE TINKA KULFI AND THE ANGOORI RASMALAI was as Moshezz confesses done injustice too As they were late entrée and Our kitty was too foodgasmed. But the BHARWAN lengcha needs a special mention. The bharwan inside was gulkand. Super like in taste. While the beetroot halwa warmes up your soul and the tinka kulfi cools up like the cool breeze of a summer evening the rasmalai makes you feel what it is to be soaked and drenched in love. The rasmalai was a total soft chena delight which was subtle taste and the saffron adds its autograph. KEEP SPACE FOR THE SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DESSERTS

Moshezz promises to go back for more…more of kababs curries and desserts. More of love that Zameer and his team so happily spreads ou to you like confetti. The Restaurant manager Adit needs a special mention for the immense care he took of Moshezz and the duo and that’s true hospitality is all about is it not..when u walk back to your car with a smile of a well fulfilled happy evening with friends and the love for the place etched out forever.

Do love like comment and share your experince too. TGKF is royalty with love served. It is an awesome experience altogheher. Visit and go fo the awesomeness thereafter.

INTRODUCTION

The great kabab factory is a restaurant chain run by the Radisson Blu which is a 5 star hotel chain. There are two three outlets which are not located inside the Radisson Blu which are operating independently. But the chef has get trained in the main outlet which is in Delhi. This place is know for its kababs. Its basically on table buffet. They have more than 450 types of kebab on the menu of which they serve 6 in the non veg and 6 in the veg. The menu changes everyday but they keep the galouti kebab every day as its their signature dish.

AMBIENCE

As this restaurant is in the 5 star property the ambience is exquisite. It is having mix and match of a factory and a fine dine place. They have a antique looking seating arrangement. The pillars and some part of wall are having rustic wall made of bricks. They have a part of wall which showcase the treasure of the India that is the Spices. This place is a proper fine dine place.

BEVERAGES

The Great Maratha Emperor

This was a mocktail made of fresh guava juice. This was more of a spiced drink. It was having fresh guava juice and mixed with some black salt, chat masala and red chilli powder. The glass was also rimmed with the masala used in the drink to add that extra element to the drink. As this was made from fresh guava so it had that refreshing taste to it.

APPETIZERS

Galouti Kebab

This is the signature dish of this place. The galouti kebab is just a art piece. More than 80 spices go into the kebab. It a mince of the mutton and some gram flour added to it along with the spices. The mince of the mutton was so fine. This was served on a small piece of roti. Eat one bite and the kebab melts into mouth. The spices blast and tantalize taste buds.

Angara Kebab

This is a spicy version of the chicken tikka. It was marinated with some curd red chilli powder ginger garlic and some black pepper. This was then charred to perfection. The kebab was tender and juicy. I had expected it to be having more spicy flavour but as it was a fine dine restaurant the spice level was less.

Mutton chops

This were subtle spiced mutton chops charred grilled. The mutton was grilled perfectly. But I felt the mutton was bit under cooked I felt. The mutton was marinated with spices like a hint of chilli powder and black pepper. The chop had ample amount of meat to it.

Sarsoon Macchi

Its was fish fingers having a dominant flavour of the mustard in the marination. The fish was coated with some gram flour which was having red chilli powder and some mustard into it. This was then deep fried to perfection. The fish has nice crisp outer crust and was moist from inside.

Salmon with Tomato Salsa

This was an Indo Italian dish. They had used a nice chunky fillet of salmon, topped with a more Indianized tomato salsa on the top. The salmon was first pan seared to perfection. Then it was topped with some cheese and tomato salsa sauce. The salsa was having a perfect tang to it and to add more Indian touch they had added some garlic and red chilli powder into it. The combination of the fish with the sauce was just bonkers.

MAINS

Dal Factory

This is another signature dish here. The dal was slow cooked for more than 8 hours, its cooked in water over night, they don’t even use water to cook it, it’s completely cooked in milk on a slow charcoal flame. One spoon of the Dal Makhani you’re into heaven. Its carnival of slow cooked flavours blasting in mouth. You get the rich buttery and milk taste as well as a smoked taste of the dal. You could eat this dal without any need of roti or rice.

Murgh Vindalu

As the name says it’s a South Indian Chicken curry. It was an onion based curry with prominent mustard taste to it. Along with chicken it also had potatoes into it. It was mild spice curry having garam masala into it and hint of curry leaf flavour to it.

Laal Maas

This is a traditional Rajasthan mutton curry. This is an onion based curry having red chilli paste into it and garam masala spices like coriander seeds, clovers, cardamom, peppercorn, bay leaves and some ginger garlic paste. This is slow cooked till the meat is fell of the bone. I felt it could be more spicy it was on a milder side.

Gosht Biryani

Biryani is one of the famous Indian rice perpetrations. The mutton in the biryani was cooked well and has having the prefect masala bounded to it. The rice was cooked well and was having a dominant taste of the fried onions and the garam masala. The biryani was given a proper dum which infused the flavour of the masala into the rice.

DESSERT

Mango Phirni

Phirni is usually a pudding made of rice. The rice is cooked along with milk and sugar. To this they had added mango pulp. The pulp was made from fresh mangos and you could taste the freshness in the phirni. The sweetness was just perfect neither over sweet nor less sweet.

Beetroot Halwa

This was something different from the normal halwa we always have. They grated the beetroot mixed it was khawa and some sugar and cooked it in ghee. The Beetroot has a hint of sweetness to it which is released after slow cooking to it, which you could taste in this halwa. This was an amazing end to the great meal.

VERDICT

This place is serving some Authentic Indian food for all parts of the India. The food is cooked in the traditional way only. They don’t per cook the food before for the buffet. The food is made as per the need of the customer. There is great time and love put into the food which is reflected in the taste of food. Talking about service and hospitality it is top notch a must visit place.

Many years ago I had heard about the great kabab factory, Delhi, guess it was through a TV show. And just last week got invited for the #foodtasting at Radissonblu, Pune. I was a little disappointed that why did it take so long for Rashmi Naidu & me to visit such a wonderful place, entire experience was topped by impeccable service and ambience. Food was still the highlight of the entire experience. You may think you have eaten similar sounding dishes but I wish we could explain what our taste buds were enjoying. Eg. Galouti kebabs, one could tell the work on the spices, dal factory - We could eat that entire day and night, pahadi chooza, rara gosht, biryani almost everything has a different and unique touch. We loved the paan ice cream and the tongue cleanser guava mocktail laced with spice. Surely #hungryformore and yes you shall gain a few kilos but as they say you eat when you eat :) #bhooklagi #jyadakhaliya #foodistheonlypurposeoflife

The Great Kabab Factory had been on my mind for the longest time and somehow I never landed there. Finally visited them for dinner last weekend and was blown away.
They do a on - your - table set menu comprising of unlimited helpings of kebabs, tikkas, curries, breads & desserts. The meal is priced at ₹1200+ per pax and is well worth the experience. You'd be treated to the signature Radisson hospitality, quality, presentation & flavor.
This is a rendition of a vegetarian experience, though non-vegetarians do have an edge with the sheer number of dishes.
Here's what I tried :
1. Maratha Empire - Fantastic guava based concoction spiked with chilli & salt. Not thin like most places, but a nice pulpy drink. It's their signature mocktail & you gotta try it.
FYI: this is not included in the buffet price.
2. Subz Galouti Kabab - Served atop Sheermal Naan, this one was so flavorsome. Though not Melt-in-the-mouth, it was still a pretty good one.
3. Kasturi Paneer Tikka - Well marinated & extremely well tandoored chunky Paneer pieced served alongside a beautiful apple salad.
4. Anarkali Tandoori Aloo - Never had better Tandoori Aloo before. This one is a bomb! The potato is supremely tender and the spice rub is just perfect (not too spicy as to overpower the potato, nor too mild to not tickle your palate).
5. Kaju Suran Ki Tikki - They've managed to turn ultra bland yam into something that tastes nice. Adding those cashews for crunch is genius! Loved that they added something different apart from the usual vegetarian tandoor choices.
6. Tandoori Broccoli - Finally a Tandoori Broccoli appetizer that managed to impress! No other restaurant has been able to do that yet.
7. Ananas Ki Chaat - Loved the presentation as much as I loved the taste of this one. Again, they were able to achieve the perfect spice rub and charring.
8. Subz Dum Biryani - Only had a little, since the appetizers were aplenty. I found it average, though the raita served alongside was delicious.
9. Dal Factory - Again a signature dish, this one's a Dal makhani cooked for 16 hours. It was very creamy & flavourful - good enough to be had on it's own too.
10. Kadhai Paneer - This is your actual Kadhai Paneer replete with various spices and not just that standard red gravy that most restaurants pass off as Kadhai Paneer.
11. Subz Miloni - Hands down the best Subz Miloni ever! All of the vegetables used here were first charred and then brought together in a spinach based gravy. I hogged on this inspite of being stuffed.
12. Desserts - For desserts, they served us Mango Phirni, Paan kulfi & Doodhi halwa; all of which pretty good.
Apart from the listed dishes, we were served plenty of palate cleansers & accompaniments such as salads, cut fruit, spiced buttermilk, jaljeera water, assorted chutneys & dips etc adding much value to the whole experience.
No doubt a lot of places dish our barbecued stuff at comparatively cheaper prices, but the food here is leaps ahead of those and so is the whole experience.
I'd recommend you definitely give them a try once.

There are few names in a the food business that just have a legendary status. In terms of high end North Indian cuisine, The Great Kabab Factory is definitely one of the ones at the top of the food chain. A legacy of more than 20 years (starting in 1998, at Delhi) they have multiple locations across India and the globe. With more than 450 Kababs, ranging from Punjabi, Awadhi as well as Moghlai style, it is a force to be rekoned with. Fun fact, they have more than 200 vegetarian kababs as well, which is a testament to how detailed and well thought out their repertoire is!

In Pune, like almost everywhere else, they are located at the Radisson Blu, Kharadi. The ambiance is absolutely stunning, classy extremely well appointed but with a few rustic, industrial elements. After all, it is factory! I have to mention the service, the staff extremely well trained, very knowledgeable and always on their toes to provide the best service possible.

Chef Zameer Ahmed is the nephew of the legendary chef who started everything (and still heads) the original Kabab Factory in Delhi. Being from Lucknow, himself, and trained under the wing of his uncle, his grasp of the cherished family recipes and the kababs is unmatched!

Unlike most 'unlimited food' places, all the food is served on the table. They have an ever changing menu, but with a set pattern of 6 veg and 6 non-veg kababs, 4 veg and 4 non-veg mains and 4 desserts. The price for all this is just Rs. 1199+ taxes. The final amount comes to about Rs. 1400 or so which, according to me is absolutely value for money. The variety of kababs and their quality is unquestionable. The mains and desserts equally good. The top notch service and experience just tops it off.

STARTERS & ACCOMPANIMENTS

You normally don't write about this stuff but, even the most trivial matters are handled with aplomb. They serve a small 'cutting chai' glass of fantastically refreshing Jal Jeera topped with a masala papdi, a light salad and a cute micro sized cooker with Corn Chat. Then there are some fresh fruits with a delicious Strawberry Spiced sauce. This is all to have along with your Kababs as a break or palate cleanser, which is turn soothes the stomach and helps in digestion too, apparently! Wonderful concept and beautifully executed.

You also get 4 sauces to go along with your kababs. A mint chutney, tamarind chutney, tomato chutney and lastly a creamy mayo sauce.

BEVERAGES

I was served Maratha Empire! A delicious guava-orange mocktail spiced up with corriander and chaat masala to make it as bold as it's name.

KABABS

Coming to the heart of the matter. The kababs were absolutely ridiculously good. Each one prepared with loads of technique and care, amazing blend of spices and perfectly tandoored!

Non-Veg

Galouti Kabab - Soft, delicate and lusciously minced lamb, almost the consistency of a paste, subtly spiced with a blend of 87 carefully selected spices! Quite big in size and it was fantastic! Served on an Ulte Tawe ka Paratha prepared with a dough made out of milk and saffron instead of water! If you ever needed an example for the word 'Excuisite', this could be it!

Lamb Chops - This was another masterpiece. Juicy, meaty, buttery and smokey! The meat was pink and perfectly cooked at the core. Perfectly charred on the outside. I couldn't get enough of them!

Orange Marinated Salmon Tikka - Chunky pink salmon steaks, finished off perfectly in the tandoor! So succulent, mildly spiced with hint of orangey tanginess. A perfect fusion of European flavours with an Indian twist.

Macchi Anardana - Deep fried crispy juicy fish! As they used Rawas (Indian Salmon) the fish itself was very flavourful with a wonderful spicy marinade. It was served on a roasted papad and topped with chaat masala!

Murgh ke Parche - A midly spiced, juicy chicken kabab with a hint of a continental touch, topped with bell peppers, garlic and black pepper.

Veg

Dahi ke Shole - Absolutely delectable, crispy on the outside and creamy beautifully spiced dahi filling on the inside. Just impossibly delicious!

Stuffed Paneer Tikka - Soft paneer stuffed with capsicum, heaps of dry frits (almonds / cashews) and wonderful mildly spiced cashew paste based masala! Perfectly tandoored making it so smokey, rich and delicious.

MAINS

Dal Factory - Their version of Dal Makhni. They cook and smoke their dal makhni for 16 hours, which is twice as long as most others. So the dal and the spices literally just melt together and almost becomes an unified paste. The smokiness and spice just imparting incredible favour. This one is not to be missed.

Haleem!! - It was such a surprise when they brought this out! Starchy, meaty slow cooked deliciousness served in an earthen bowl! It was so good, with a few chunks of meat, so intensely flavoured with ghee and caramelised onions. It was a tad too starchy, and had more of a pasty texture than a stringy meaty one, so different to what I'm used to but still really good! Top it off with some mint, onions and lime, and relish!

Gosht Dum Biryani - Awadhi style biryani! Very mildly spiced and devoid of any excess masala but fragrant with meat and whole spices. The lamb was absolutely wonderfully cooked, but rice felt just a tad dry. The chef explained, as they use less ghee as it's a Star Hotel, that's the result. I would really have loved more ghee and for it to be a little more moist, with the same flavour. Nothing beats the Awadhi biryani at Jamawali Biryani for me (Pavillion Mall, SB road).

I didn't try any other mains as I was so full!

DESSERTS

I asked the server to just serve me 1 or maximum 2 of their best desserts, so he suggested, Paan Kulfi and Bharwan Langcha, but Chef came to see me and said that I had to try their special Mango Phirni as well, to which I obliged!

The Mango Phirni was soothing, cold, creamy and delicious. I'm not a huge fan of mango desserts, but this was done well and the mint and mango pieces really added character.

The Bharwan Langcha was amazing! Gulab Jamun stuffed with gulkand and a few dry fruits. So good! But I definitely wanted a few more dry fruits like roasted cashews and almonds inside. That would have added a lovely crunchy texture and a hint of smokiness to the stuffing.

Paan Kulfi was quite good, soothing and refreshing after all the spicy food, but the paan flavour was a bit mild, I would have loved a bit more punch!

VERDICT

The Great Kabab Factory is almost the ultimate place for high end Kababs and Indian food in general. Extremely luxurious, 5-Star service and really good food. All at relatively affordable prices. What's not to like? It's perfect for family celebrations or cozy dinners or just a tummy bursting feast! The quality and taste of food is genuinely incredible.

Why do I need Six-pack Abs,
When I can have Keb'Abs' 😋🍗

◆ History -

Mughals have improved our country as far as the culinary face is concerned. They have gifted us with so many classic recipes that we have lost count and one of them is 'Kebabs'. The Great Kebab Factory (TGKF) located at Radisson Blu, Kharadi in Pune is as its name suggest dedicated to this wonderful Mughlai invention. TGKF is a contemporary and stylish Indian speciality restaurant born with the creation of the first restaurant at the Radisson Blu Delhi in 1998. The restaurants overwhelming success paved the way for franchising the brand, leading to an incredible growth which today finds presence across four countries, making it one of the largest Indian restaurant chains in its category.

Their signature Kebabs have been created after a decade of extensive research and development. TGKF owns a recipe bank of over 450 kebabs which include many closely guarded family recipes passed down through the ages. Using Recipes combining the ancient with the contemporary, TGKF brings delectable kebabs from all over the Indian sub-continent. At the Great Kebab Factory, you will experience mouth-watering kebabs prepared in seven different styles, roasted on the tandoor or on a sighri, shallow fried in a tawa or a mahi tawa, deep fried in a kadhai, steamed in pots, even grilled on a stone. A different menu is set for each day and guests are served unlimited amazing servings of each dish, either vegetarian or non-vegetarian.

◆ Ambience -

When dining at The Great Kebab Factory, a guest would get the feel of dining within a virtual food factory. The interior gives that perfect factory look, like incomplete walls, rustic look, beautiful lights. The cutlery resembling factory tools and the metal serving dishes are all factory like. The staff wears dungarees to highlight the fact that they are all like factory workers. An open kitchen allows guests to enjoy the feel of eating within a factory premise. Vibrant colour, lively old Bollywood instrumental sounds adds to the ethnic yet modern feel to the overall restaurant concept.

◆ Service -

First of all thanks to Mr Vivek Joshi for Inviting us to this incredible experience. Thanks to Mr Adeet and Mr Sudesh for being the great host for the evening. The best part for me was the hospitality we received right from the entrance till our food hot over. Such a welcoming staff, who served the non-vegetarian options and Ms Snehal who served Vegetarian dishes. Kudos to both of them. Last but not least, Mr Sandeep (executive sous chef) and Mr Narasinh (executive chef), your hard work, talent and cheerfulness made our evening very special. Hats off to your amazing culinary talents.

◆ Menu -

Its a long list of delicious delicates.

💠 Starter -

🔸 TGKF's Legendary Galouti Kebabs with Ulte Tawe ka Paratha-

The legend goes that the Nawab had lost most of his dentures due to old age, but his penchant for kebabs was far from dying. So for their toothless Nawab, the seasoned Khansamas (Head Chef) came up with a popular variant which needed no chewing yet had the same rich flavours and taste of a Kebab. Galouti meant 'soft', something that melts in the mouth. TGKF'S legendary tender Galouti Kebabs that melt in your mouth with a burst of fabulous Awadhi cuisine flavours. To achieve a perfect Galouti Kebab, the recipe involves several steps with lots of spices. Here, you can find out that perfect Kebab with 4 types of Chutneys - yoghurt, tamarind, tomato and mint.
🔺Just one suggestion, kindly prefer Goat meat over Lamb. Because of its taste, smell and nutrition value. well, the taste is a purely personal affair, I prefer Goat meat.

🔹Confession - I liked Veg Subz Galouti Kebab more than Mutton Kebab (seriously!)

🔸The Pani Puri Factory Shots with Corn Salad and Papad-

Corn salad is tasty and flavoursome. Pani Puri (not actual puri, it's a Papdi) served in Shot glasses with crispy Papdi on the top. A new variant of Pani Puri, yummy!

The Great Kabab Factory is in Raddison Blu Kharadi, a place where Kabab is definitely a King. The place is simple yet beautiful with soft music playing which gives you a feeling of a Nawabi palace.

Moving on to the food, the name itself says a lot, Kababs and a lot kababs. Who doesn't love kababs and if you are one of them who don't like then do try it once and you'll definitely love it. I generally have non-veg and also when you hear the word kabab it is diffficult to imagine veg kababs but yes my dear friends they do serve veg kababs too and not one or two varieties but same number of dishes as they serve for non-veg. One of the most important thing i loved about this place was the concept of Pan to Plate that means everything will be served on your table, fresh and straight out of kitchen.

They started to serve us with some chats and salads which act as PALATE CLEANSER. They believe that every dish has a different taste so as not to mix the flavors of the dishes we used the chats and salads and yes the maratha mocktail(thick sweet and spicy guava juice).

Talking about Kababs, GALOUTI KABAB was one of the best and authentic kabab i have ever tasted. It had 87 flavors and the kabas were so fresh and perfectly made that at the first bite it melted in the mouth and were simply delicious.
- I'm not a huge fan of fish in general but after having RAMPURI MACHI I'm in love with fish. The fish was coated with cornflour and spices as simple as black pepper and black salt and it tasted amazing.
- GOSHT SEEKH KABAB was long mutton seekh kabab with authentic Lucknowi flavour which would bring calm to your taste buds.
- TANDOORI CHOOSA, was tandoori chicken well cooked, juicy and with no burnt/black edges.
- ATISHI JINGA was scrumptious prawns well cooked with a peculiar flavor and excellent taste.
- LUCKNOWI NALI was the best and it was chef's special dish and i can't explain in words the flavour and taste of this, it was that good. The sizzler was mutton with bone marrow and it was damn scrumptious.

For the main course, they served MURG DUM BIRYANI, DAL FACTORY, KALONJI GHOSH, MURG CHUTNEYWALA. Heads down my favorite was Dal Factory(must try). I never imagined a normal daal that we eat everyday could be this amazing. It takes them around 15 hrs to prepare this and it had authentic flavours with aroma of coal and ghee from the dum.

The desserts were excellent too. They served different varities of Kulfi among which i loved PAN KULFI. They also served BHARWAN LANGCHA which was kind of gulabjamun, RASGULLA, BEETROOT HALWA and all of them were delicious.

In a nutshell, it was a great experience. All the dishes were simple yet sophisticated. The presentation was beautiful. Customization was available. Staff was friendly, helpful and the service was prompt too. They also had a spice library where all the spices were put together which i found very innovative.

**** MUST VISIT!!!! ****

The Great Kebab Factory - after a long time, has a restaurant impressed me with their high standard of flavors specifically in vegetarian genre. 😍

The restaurant as its name has aced itself, in serving one of the best vegetarian kebabs in the city.

Kebab - a legacy left behind by the Mughals is one of the most cherished dishes all over the country.

TGKF maintains the consistency in taste in every dish - which is what sets it apart from the rest.😊

#WhyHaveAbsWhenYouCanHaveKebABS
#RoyaltyRedefined

India has an extremely rich culinary heritage, so much so that even its remnants are accoladed and loved all around the world. Be it the Lucknow’s Galoutis or Punjab’s Tangdi Kababs, the rich flavours and spices of our cuisine are as relevant as they could be.

But as a matter of fact, Kababs that we all relish today as the slice of our very own food history are incidentally the expats that made their way to our country in 14th Century and then onwards became an integral part of Indian Fare.

The Great Kabab Factory (TGKF) is an Indian Speciality restaurant brand that is literally the chaperone of this adopted legacy called Kababs. They boast of serving over 450 versions of Kababs and these are closely-guarded family recipes from Royal Khansamas of Lucknow to Persia to the Northwestern Frontier.

It is located on the 1st Floor of Radisson Blu Hotel Pune Kharadi has taken Indian fine dining to another level, offering an a'la carte buffet of delicious kababs served sizzling fresh from the tandoor to your table. This place also serves a range of authentic Curries, Indian Breads and Exotic Desserts as part of this great unlimited meal deal.

The clear pick of the Kababs for me were:

Chef Special Nalli Kabab: Meat loaded nallis chargrilled and tossed in a creamy buttery gravy. The meat was coming of the bone like a soft peel and heavy basting resulted in the butter & herbs sucked right in. These Kababs are like the crest of climatic ecstasy in mouth, nothing else comes close, not even the real deal. Go get foodgasmed, over & over, till it lasts !!!

Gosht Gilafi Seekh Kabab: The Seekhs here are no eggshell mushies. These heavy duty Kababs are made of coarse mince and the hand pounded masala lends it the robust flavours. One portion of this and you are in for one hell of a meat overload. Very distinct and highly recommended !!!

Mutton/ Veg Galouti Kababs: Both these versions of Galouti here are 'Top Notch', unarguably the best in town. And why wouldn't they be, the Executive Chef here, Zameer Mohammed himself is one amongst the Nawabs from the Land of Kababs.

Zaffrani Paneer Tikka is another Veg Kabab which is truly a treat for the tastebuds. It has the Spice, Tang and Aromatic Zaffran, all in equal measures. Absolutely terrific !!!

Apart from these, Ajwaini Jhinga, Amritsari Mahi Fry & Roohani Chooza too were utterly delectable.

The best part about this long drawn out Kabab treat was the way every dish made it to the table. There was nothing like pre-loaded skewers, half done or overdone Kababs, everything was pitch-point perfect. The sequence of service included servings of palate cleansers to break the meaty monotony, all so well thought out and executed even better.

The main course was an elaborate affair too. Mutton Rogan Josh, Saag Chooza and the Factory Dal are absolutely unmissable when dining at TGKF. So are the Biryanis served here. By the time I finished my main course, I was literally jaw dropped in admiration over the consistency of taste and flavours delivered dish over dish by the Mavericks that they are at the TGKF Kitchen. Absolutely nailed every single thing to the peerless perfection; Meticulous Magnificence !!!

The desserts included house made Kulfis in Paan and Rose Flavours, Stuffed Lengcha, Rasogulla and Beetroot Halwa. Out of all, my choicest picks would be the Beetroot Halwa and the Paan Kulfi.

Tried two of their Signature Mocktails too; Maratha Empire (Pulpy Guava with Tajín) & Fruit Punch. Both of them were absolutely kickass !!!

I could not find a single fault with either the food or service. The over all experience was way beyond marvellous.

This place smashbreaks the perception of being too bland and polished in taste targeting the expat clientele at the star hotels. If you are an admirer of good things in life, you would not want to miss out on this experience. Its sheer class; nonpareil !!!

Go, give this culinary brilliance a shot today.

Cheers. Ciao !!!

A restaurant that truly justifies its name! I visited The Great Kabab Factory for dinner on a weekday. While Kharadi can be a long drive in itself for me, it was totally worth it! The ambience is simple but very really pretty. The Great Kabab Factory has a set menu everyday and at first glance it looks like any other menu from a buffet restaurant. But I've never had such amazing kababs as I did here. The thing I liked the most was that none of the kababs are prepared in bulk (like many buffet restaurants do). Each order is made fresh. This ensures you get hot delicious kababs each time. Everyday they serve different kinds of kababs, but their signature ones stay on the menu. In the price of the buffet, you can order as many repeats of the kababs you want and each time it will be made fresh. That's what makes this a truly Great Kabab Factory!
Some of the kababs I tried were -
Galouti Kabab - this is their signature and must have! The kebab is really soft and packed with flavour. I also found the size to be much more generous than other places too.
Others are Adraki Ghosht Kabab, Ajwaini Jhinga, Pahadi Murgh Tikka, Amritsari Mahi Fry. One unique kabab was the Salmon Tikka. I've always had salmon in very mild flavours in continental dishes, but I enjoyed the Indian flavoured one even more!
Their vegetarian kababs are also delicious. Many places that serve kababs do not have many vegetarian options, but The Great Kabab Factory does absolute justice to vegetarian kababs! They have a vegetarian Galouti Kabab too, as delicious as the mutton version. Their Dahi Shole Kabab is one of the best Dahi kababs I've tasted (loads of Dahi used and a great spiciness to balance the dahi). Other vegetarian kababs which I loved were the Dhaniya Aloo, Ananas ki Chaat and Punjabi Bhutta (super crunchy yummy baby corn).
In between different kababs, they give you fruits, salad and breads to cleanse your palate. All the kababs were so flavourful, I barely used any of the 4 chutneys kept on the table!

The kababs are the main focus and signature of this restaurant. I would definitely advice trying all types of kababs! If you have any appetite left after gorging on the kababs, they also have some options in mains to try. I tried their signature Dal Factory, which a bowl of warmth and happiness. I also tried their Biryani, which was good, but not their best dish. To end the meal, they have delicious kulfi flavours to try (I tried the mango). Their Angoori Rasmalai and Lauki ka Halwa are also super delicious. I generally do not like Lauki ka Halwa, but the one I tried here has definitely changed my mind!

Given the quality of food I had here, I totally think it's worth the price. The quiet and peaceful ambience makes it perfect for special occasions too!
A truly Great experience at The Great Kabab Factory!

The great kebab factory, a restaurant known for veg-nonveg kebabs. Located at Radisson Kharadi, TGKF has got spacious place. Sitting is comfortable. The ambience is simple and peaceful.

They have a set menu and pricing for guests.
A standard rate for one person irrespective of veg/nonveg is 1199 plus 18% GST. This includes 6 kebabs from Nonveg and veg each, main course and desserts.

Kebabs are made considering personal preferences. Galouti Kebabs is a signature offering they serve. Juicy, soft and full of flavours is summary of the same. Garnished with onion rings and pomogrenate. Would recommend this to any kebab lover.

Rohani chooza is another bchicken kebab with bones. I was served 2 pieces of kebabs plus pickled onions. It tasted good. Thanks to lipsmacking masala and tender chicken.

Dips enhances the kebab experience. I had pudina chutney, imli chutney and tangy tomato chutney during the kebab marathon.

From main course, I loved Dal Factory than other items. Dal was creamy and mild on spice levels. A showstopper. Mutton Rogan Josh was 2nd best item though it surrendered after watching heroic performance of Dal. Chef Sandeep Srivastava mentioned that Dal Factory is his receipe which is used across the TGKF outlets.

After this, staff Akshay served me biryani. This time I preferred having biryani rice with Dal. Biryani was tasty no doubt but I enjoyed biryani rice with Dal. Had two small chicken pieces from biryani and both were good.

Items which requires improvement are :

Hariyali murgh tikka &
Gosht seekh kebabs. Murgh tikka was chewy and could have been made better. Mutton Seekhs were juicy but lacked softness.

Throughout the meal, I also had a variety of palate cleansers. This was served purposely to ensure taste of every kebab can be differentiated and rejoiced. Roasted papad and a beautifully done Guava based mocktail are to name a few.

I enjoyed all desserts but would rate Paan flavoured Kulfi and Beetroot halwa higher. Kulfi had whole flavours of Paan into it. Beetroot halwa was perfect on sugar balance and one can have 2-3 servings of it effortlessly. Plus Bharwan Langcha was a surprise. It's simply the Gulab jamun with Gulkand flavour. This is a must have preparation.

The Great Kebab Factory started in 1998 in Delhi Within a factory now located at 1 st floor of Radisson Blu Hotel kharadi. It was a great experience visiting the restaurant starting from a warm welcome by Mr. Vivek Joshi at the entrance then he guided us to our table and told us about the concept behind the great kebab factory specializing in kebabs(obviously) and Mughlai cuisine. Its a see-through kitchen and guests can customize their food as per their taste while maintaining the originality of the food. They have a Set menu changing on a regular basis including 6 Veg, 6 Non-Veg starters,4Veg, 4 Non-Veg Main course and 4 types of Desserts. Master chef Mr. Zameer Ahmad prepared the meal for us.

Talking about ambiance it’s a quiet place with classy instrumental playing in the background and the interior is designed to get the classy feel of a factory with proper temperature control. Now coming to the food we tasted almost all veg kebabs and desserts and there are few words describing our favorites among them:-

Maratha Empire:- Basically a soft dring with Guava as its base and a little spice added up for taste with other ingredients it was among the best which we tasted.

Subz Galouti Kebab: This was a veg kebab basically a veg version of gosht galouti kebab made with a mix of 87 spices and served with ulte tave ke paranthe.

Kandhari Aloo: Stuffed potato served with chutney on top. One of the best kandhari aloo we ate.

Fruit chat: Fruits especially pineapple little grilled with some good mix of spices on it coming hot from the kitchen was also our favorite.

Apple and raw mango salad: This salad was an amazing combination of apple and raw mango with few pieces of pear topped with mix spices.

Lauki ka Halwa: Lauki was never this good. Lauki ka halwa had an immersive taste with a feel of great taste in every bite.

What a lovely evening spent at this place. The great kabab factory is one of the finest place to have the best kababs in town. First of all such a pretty place, the interior gives that perfect factory look, like incomplete walls, rustic look, beautiful lights etc.
The best part for me was the hospitality we received right from the entrance till our food got over. Such welcoming staff, explained literally everything, helped us with clicking photographs. Basically this lovely greetings from the staff made our day even more happier. Being a food blogger, when the restaurant staff greets and welcome with such kindness and care, it makes me even more happier to work for them.
The name "The Kabab Factory" to "The Great Kabab Factory" has been a journey for them. But this addition of the word GREAT is righteously given and they deserve it.
.
Coming to the food, first of all let me highlight the speed which actually matter each and every one of us. Such quick cooking and quick serving. I could see the person who was serving us the food was literally rushing so that he could get us the food super fast but still he had a wide smile on his face and was working with soo much of ease.
.
The food prepared at the restaurant is completely marinated and cook there in the kitchen itself. The speciality of this place is tha the food is made up with the combination of 87 spices which itself makes them the ultimate legends of kababs. Hats off to the amazing chef for all his culinary talents. And we are so lucky that we could taste the lipsmaking delicacies prepared by the chef.

A Fabulous place, serving mouthwatering Kebabs,
North Indian & Mughlai food and that too Unlimited!!!!

I was invited at the restaurant as a part of food tasting of their scrumptious Kebabs. I had a great time and I thoroughly enjoyed dining in here.

The ambience of this place is Elegant, Cosy and Rusty at the same time. The area is dimly lit with unfinished brick walls(to give it a kebab factory look), beautiful wall paintings, 'Masala Library' where all the spice ingredients, used in the kebab making are placed on a wall in glass jars- all this is perfect to set your mood on!

As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was warmly welcomed by the Restaurant Manager- Mr Adeet Mohurle & EAM- Mr Vivek Joshi.

Talking about the the staff here , they are super courteous, friendly & cordial.
They first ask you your preference for Veg/Non veg and how spicy would you like to have your food. And then customize it according to you taste.
Great services and hospitality.

Coming over to the food, Some of the dishes I tried over there:

Beginning with the Appetizers:

# Corn Masala Pani Puri ➡ I loved this appetizer. It's inspired by our local Pani Puris.
There were corn kernels in a miniature cooker and a Shots glass filled with Jaljeera water and a 'Mathri' placed on top of it.
You open that cute lil mini pressure cooker, take the kernels and place it over the Mathri, eat it and finally take the Jaljeera shot after it.
Presentation..... Top Level.

THE KEBABS.....

# Galouti Kebab ➡ This is one of their signature dish and definitely a must try, when you're at The Great Kebab Factory. One of the tastiest Galouti Kebab I've tried so far. I was so amazed to know from their Head Chef that a total of 87 spices (to be precise) goes into it's making. The moment you take a bite, you can actually feel your mouthful of all those flavours. They were served on a small sized chapati along with onions and coriander.
You put all the chutneys on the top, roll the roti and relish the taste. And that's how you eat this kebab!!

# Kutti Mirch ka Chooza ➡ It's basically well marinated, tangy and juicy boneless chicken tikka . It's great for chicken starters.

# Paneer Pardah Kebab ➡ A vegetarians delight, Paneer Pardah Kebab had a stuffing of Paneer & Cashews giving it a mild sweet flavour. It is wrapped on the outside with a mix of Rice flour & Gram flour.

# Dariya Ka Ratan ➡ It's a Fried Fish Tikka. It was zesty and tasty, Soft from inside and crunchy texture on outside.

# Atishi Jhinga ➡ Spicy king sized prawns tikka for Prawn lovers. The Jhingas were fresh and crunchy.

# Gosht Seekh Kebab ➡ This is another dish, I absolutely loved. It's minced juicy lamb meat blended with perfect spices. It's really tasty and it melts as soon as it gets into your mouth. It was presented along with burning charcoal by it's side, to add up that smoky flavour in the meat.

# Dahi Ke Kebab ➡ Another vegetarians kebab. There were veggies and Curd and a slight flavour of Cardmom fighting against the curd. It's a good option if you are bored with paneer stuffs.

Savour the flavour with Mocktail:

# Maratha Samraj- A guava based spicy mocktail that complimented the taste of kebabs. It was Tasty, chilled and refreshing.

Time For the Main Course!!!!!!!!!!

As I got almost full with starters only, it was difficult to jump on to the Main course. But I managed to have Dal with Garlic Naan!

# Dal Makhni & Garlic Naan ➡ The Dal Makhni was buttery and delicious. Another fact I got know that this signature dal takes a pre- preparation of 16 hrs before it comes to your plate. It's definitely worth a try.

Closing with Dessert.....

# Paan Kulfi ➡ I totally loved their idea of combining a Kulfi along with the goodness of a Paan ❤ It tasted good and refreshing and it's consistent in taste in all the TGKF's outlets . It's Green color.. I couldn't take my eyes off it😍
The Presentation was top notch.

Recommendation >>>>>>> I highly recommend this place. I suggest to go in groups to enjoy variety of unlimited kebabs

The Great Kebab Factory’ is in Radisson Blu, Kharadi. Their concept is very thoughtful and that reflects in their interiors too. To make it look like a factory, they have designed walls looking like as if they are under construction. That’s why it is named as Kebab Factory and well they are famous for their kebabs so that’s how this place is evolved. They have put a thoughtful concept behind this place.

Coming on to their food, the name itself says a lot. This place specializes in Cuisines from Lucknow, Kebabs majorly. Me being a Kebab lover was very thrilled to try this place. And here is the brief of my experience and what all I had here-

01. PALETTE CLEANSER: So in order to experience the taste of every dish, one has to make sure that the taste of one dish doesn’t collide with another. And for that, it’s really necessary that your tastebuds are ready to experience a new taste without having the taste of the previous dish that you have tried. Specially when it comes to Kebab, one really have to careful about it. That’s why they first serve your different kind of palette cleanser so that you can enjoy the taste of every dish specifically. I had corn chat, Chatkara Papadi, and Maratha empire. Chatkara Papadi was more of a Jaljeera which had a savory taste and it was served with a round disc which balanced out the entire taste of the dish.
On the other hand, Maratha empire was basically a Guava based drink which was thick in consistency and had a sweet and spicy taste.

02. GALOUTI KEBABS: One of the finest Galouti Kebabs I have had in such a long time. Galouti Kebabs are quite popular in Lucknow as they melt away in your mouth. And these Galouti Kebabs were actually tasted like the authentic one. The moment I took a bite, it just got melted in my mouth. It was flavoursome and was served on a soft round disc. They were so good. If you are going to this place, then don’t forget to try these kebabs.

03. CHUKANDARI MAACHI: Chukandar stands for Beetroot and MAACHI for fish. So these kebabs were made from the combination of Beetroot and fish. Being not a Beetroot person, I wasn’t really sure to try them at first but when I did, I didn’t regret it at all. These were soft and had a really good taste with the essence of Beetroot. Fish never tasted that good with Beetroot in it. That’s why the fish had a reddish color from inside.

04. JUNGALI CHOOZA: Another Chicken Kebab which totally lived upto my expectations. Golden fried chicken marinated and cooked in ground spices and was crispy. It was flavorsome and went really good with mint chutney.

05. BHARWA JHILMIL ALOO: So far I had the misconception that kebabs can only taste good if they are non-vegetarian Kebab, not the vegetarian one. But this veg kebab totally changed my perception. These Potato based kebabs were just delicious. Potatoes which were goldenly fried and later stuffed with cottage cheese in grated form turned out to be really good. So if you are a vegetarian, you’ll definitely love this one.

06. JAITUNI PANDA PANEER: Again a veg Kebab made from cottage cheese with the flavors of olive. Kebabs were really soft and juicy and had a good taste.

07. HALIM: A must try dish here. Halim is basically made from chicken along with green vegetables. This one was so good that I finished it off in no time. The taste, the consistency, everything was perfect with this dish. With the mild taste and aromatic essence, this dish literally won my heart.

08. MUTTON ROGAN JOSH: A popular dish in Kashmir where lamb cooked in ground spices and had a red color texture. This one was delicious as the mutton was succulent and scrumptious.

09. DAL FACTORY: So far one of the best dal Makhani I have had. This is even their specialty. The thing that makes it different from the regular ones is that they cook dal for almost 16 hrs. And the result is indeed irresistible. The dal was really good and the flavors burst right away it took a bite: a must try.

10. DESSERT: In desserts, they have various options. They even serve seasonal dessert and that keeps on changing. I have tried their Pan Kulfi, Moong Dal Halwa, Mango Phirni and Bharwa Gulab Jamun. I liked all desserts except Moong Dal Halwa which somewhere I found overcooked as per my tastebuds. Rest everything was delish.

To sum up my experience, it went perfectly well. They completely justify the theme as they serve one of the best kebabs in town. Their service was quite prompt too.

A must try place. Thank you ‘The Great Kebab Factory’ :)

The Great Kebab Factory is located on 1st floor of Radisson Blu hotel in Kharadi. It's a fine dining place that specialises in kebabs and mughlai cuisine. The ambiance is simple yet elegant. It gives a feel of a factory with brick walls and ceiling with vents and pipes. The restaurant have open kitchen. The customers can see their food being prepared in front of them.

As soon as, we enter we were welcomed by Mr. Vivek Joshi who told us about the concept and idea behind this place. They have a set menu which changes everyday. It includes 6 vegetarian, 6 non-vegetarian appetizers, 4 vegetarian, 4 non-vegetarian main course and 4 variety of desserts. The service is good and the staff is polite and courteous. The master chef Mr. Zameer Ahmad was looking at each table personally and was took our feedback after meal.

Coming to food, we had:

APPETIZERS:

Gosht Galouti Kebab:
Hands down the best galouti kebab in Pune. The kebabs were juicy, tender and it just melts in mouth. It was made with 87 spices which gives it it's distinctive taste. All the spices were balanced perfectly. It's a must try item from their menu.

Subz Galouti Kebab:
It's a vegetarian version of their famous Gosht Galouti Kebab which was served with ulte tave ka paratha. It was as good as it's non-vegetarian version.

Bharwan Aloo:
Potato stuffed with khoya and almonds and topped with chutney. It was something that I have tried for the first time and it was delicious.

Lal Mirch ka Jhinga:
Prawns were fresh, yummy and flavourful.

Chukandari Machhi:
The fish was cooked properly and it tasted delicious.

Jungli Chooza:
The marinated chicken pieces tasted delicious and the chicken was tender and succulent.

Lamb Chops:
The presentation of lamb chops was superb. The lamb was cooked nicely with good balance of spices. It was yummy.

Pathar ke Murgh Parche:
Chicken breast marinated and cooked and topped with chopped bell peppers. Chicken was cooked nicely and the whole dish tasted delicious.

We also had tawa mushroom, atishi murgh tikka amd rampuri murgh tikka in starters. All three of them were tasty.

Chutneys:
Four different kinds of chutneys were served- Mint, Tomato, Tamarind, Peanut and Yoghurt chutney. All the chutneys were good and goes well with kebabs.

MAIN COURSE:

Dal Factory:
The good old dal makhani which is cooked for 16 hours to give it that delicious taste. I am not much fan of dal makhani, but this one was tasty.

Mutton Rogan Josh:
Delicious mutton curry loaded with spices and flavours and tasted yummy with roti.

Gosht Awadhi Biryani:
Juicy mutton pieces cooked in aromatic basmati rice and garnished with fried onions and served with raita. Biryani was cooked properly and was so flavourful.

DESSERTS:

Mango Phirni

Tinka Kulfi

Gulab Jamun

All the three desserts were yummy. Three types of kulfis were served- paan kulfi, mango kulfi and malai kulfi. All the kulfis were good.

MOCKTAILS:

Maratha Empire:
This was the best guava base mocktail I ever had. It was so yummy and I loved it.

Jaljeera shots:
Jaljeera topped with sev, served in shot glass with crispy puri on top. It was yummy.

Overall, it was a great experience. A lovely place with good ambiance, good service, good music and delicious food. A must try place for kebab lovers.

The Great Kebab Factory is a restaurant chain which has embarked several cities with it's curated menu.

It's located on the first floor of Radisson Blu hotel. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted with smiling staff, mesmerizing ambience giving you the feels of fine dining already !

Mr. Vivek Joshi explained us the origin of TGKF and how it came into being. It's substantial menu changes on av daily basis, this is the best thing ! You can try different dishes everytime you come here, how cool is that !!

We tried (or gave our best to try) the whole starts, mains and dessert ! The menu is very clean, in the sense that the dishes on menu are very appetising and each dish looks like is there for a reason. There's no hosh posh of mixed cuisines, live counters and all that fuss.

LET'S BEGIN !!!

MARATHA EMPIRE MOCKTAIL - This was one of the best mocktails I ever had. It's tomato based with gauva juice and some red chilli !! It tasted fantastic !

PAANIPURI SHOT - This is a welcome drink, basically everyone's favorite, a crisp Puri on top with some jaljeera shot. Tasted like PAANIPURI !

VEG/MUTTON GALAUTI KEBAB - Hands down the best Kabab in town. It was so fresh, melt in the mouth with perfect balance of spices !! You definitely shall try this 👍

RAW MANGO SALAD WITH CORN - Salad was so fresh and crunchy with sweet and tangy mango! Just perfect for Summers !

PANEER TIKKA WITH AKHROT KI CHUTNEY - Paneer was so soft and difficult to resist. Very flavorful dish !!

DAHI KE KABAB - Very soft from the inside and crunchy from outside. Perfect kebab !!

DAAL AND CHEESE KEBAB - Daal and cheese combination was the first for me. Somehow the taste was pretty ok. After eating all the relish starters, this Kabab couldn't leave it's Mark on my taste buds.

PINEAPPLE CHAAT - Nowdays we do get pineapple bbq in many bbq restaurants. This was the first time it was marinated in a sweet sauce and cooked perfect, the first time ever I liked the pineapple dish !!

LAMB CHOPS - Lambs were cooked medium rare with perfect mixture of spices.

JHINGA ON SEEK - Jhinga was simply awesome ! Very fresh and flavorful.

VEG BIRYAANI - After filling our stomach to core, there was still some space left to try few mains. Biryani was not overpowering with spices like the starters. It gives the decent balance dish from having all those heavy starters.

DAAL MAKHANI WITH BREAD - This place marinates the daal for over 16 hours ! And it was definitely reflecting in the taste of this dish. The daal makhani was so creamy and rich in taste that you will finish bowls after bowls without realizing it ! This is a must must try dish!
The bread was in house, more like kulcha, loaded with ghee !

PAAN KULFI - This is nothing like you will find elsewhere in Pune. Tooooo good !!

Service of this find dining restaurant is brilliant! Staff is very helpful and the chef is a very humble gentleman. Each and every dish on the menu is put with a lot of thought behind it and tastes fantastic! Quality of food is top notch 👌

This place is a must go if you want to have an wonderful experience with your meal, and not just go out to eat food.

Thanks to the TGKB for inviting us for review! Will definitely come back for more.

Last night Anniversary dinner at The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson Blu hotel.
Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Their specialty is Mughlai cuisine. We had their buffet which is supposed to be limited but honestly once they start serving the warm starters to you right from the pan, it feels like it’s endless. Everything was so delicious. I have honestly never eaten so much food at one time, ever before. Despite of being a buffet lover since many years. They serve you so warm heartedly. And the quality and taste of the food is excellent. As stuffed as giant teddy bears, we were! Their head Chef is from Lucknow. And everything he prepares is outstanding. The staff serving cater to all your requests so well. Wonderful eating experience. I’m surprised I have never eaten here before tonight. Highly recommended restaurant.

Visited this fine dine restaurant in Radisson Blu Kharadi on the weekday for a dinner.
They have recently updated their menu. So, I was curious to see the new dishes.
While entering the restaurant I was amazed by the ambiance. It is simple yet beautiful.
You will get the feel of a factory by looking at the walls and the ceiling. So as the name The Great Kabab Factory.
Service here is prompt and quick. All the staff is courteous. Manager Adeet and Executive Chef Narasinh were looking at each table personally.
I tried their set menu for Thursday as they have different menus on different days with few variations in the dishes.
I would like to mention that Mutton Galauti Kabab which was served at the start of the meal is the best in Pune. I never had galauti kabab like this before.
They have created a twist in this. Galauti kabab is served in taco style. Very creative indeed.I also liked Solomon Fish in the starters. It was juicy and had a marination of orange. It was very tasty.
Atishi murg tikka was the chicken starter. It was bit spicy. Chicken was fresh and juicy. They serve one of the best lamb chops. Taste was amazing.
Lasooni Jhinga is highly recommended. It contains prawns with marination of garlic. Taste was very good, also the size of the prawns was perfect.
Among veg starters, I had tried peanut seekh kabab and ananas ki chat. To my surprise, even veg kababs were awesome in taste.
Marination for all the kababs was perfect. I had enough in kababs, didn't try the mains. But they do have variety in main course as well.
Dal factory is the signature item. Also, one chicken / mutton main course is there and paneer in veg.
Dessert was the icing on the cake. Special mention was the paan kulfi. It was very tasty. I felt as if I was eating a paan.
Also, gulabjam had a twist. They stuffed gulkand in between, which is amazing.

Price of the meal is Rs. 1199 + taxes which justifies the taste and the service.

Overall, I can see this is the only buffet place where they serve each and every dish on the table.

This is a must try place for all the non veg lovers.

We had dinner, with a Set Menu, last Sunday. It included 4-5 starters, 4-5 main course offerings, 4 desserts.
Ambiance (4/5) was good with soft music and gentle lighting.
Starters (4/5) were great and all of us enjoyed them, both veg & nv. Galauti kebab warrants a special mention. Main course items (3/5) were so-n-so, but chicken (chooza) and Factory Dal (maa-ki-daal) were good. Desserts (3/5) - mango phirni, paan kulfi, langcha (elongated gulab jamun), moong dal halwa - were ok.
Service (3/5) left much to be desired, there being only 1 server later in the evening.
The overall experience hasn't left us wanting a repeat.
