I have been visiting the place since past 30 years and rarely been disappointed The hotel serves excellent south indian cuisine They also serve very good North Indian food too besides very good Chinese food and many types of bhel items The mango milkshake they serve is beyond description The taste lingers for a long time and one always hankers for more The filter coffee is tops but little mild so one has to ask them for strong The service is excellent and fast too The waiters are ever obliging and serve fast They have an AC dining too and a small party hall I come here frequently for wonderful experience Thanks Coffee house for everything

Have been visiting this outlet for ages! It has stood the test of time. We recently went for a large group breakfast. I had the breakfast combo which consisted of a masala dosa, vada, upma, sheera and coffee. Everything was good. Also has the chilli cheese toast which were crisp and Cheesy! A go to place always.
My go to place when m shopping at mg road.... Try their combo meal or the veg thali... N my favorite cold coffee.... Awesome indeed
I always enjoy coming here. Meet a few friends for breakfast here. We cut a fancy cheese cake here to as it was a frdz bday. The food is always fresh and service is also good. Would definitely keep visiting again n again

I love to visit this place for coffee and a light South Indian snack in between a shopping trip with my mom. We especially love the Dahi vada here and the famous filter coffee.
This place is great big groups for a nice family dinner.
Coffee house is a legendary icon in itself. I remember from 19 years back when shopping used to be MG road and eating out used to be Coffee House. Nothing much has changed since than. The taste n the quality has been consistent. This time for a change we ordered for pav bhaji. I am not a pav bhaji person but i relished it here n ordered for extra pav. Yummy it was. alongwith this we had onion utappam. I don't even need to say how it was. just loved it!!!
is a nice place to dine in within city area. Food quality and service is good. I just find the food taste not very outstanding. Its like regular other restaurants in the same locality. So I think price is a little not much high. Its just according to the crowd in Camp. Not a bad option but not a regular basis one. You can give a try once.
One of the best Servered Paneer Butter Masala in pune, jus love it👌👌
Place is authentic, legendary and down to earth. Best Lehsooni-Palak on this planet!! Will be coming back anytime I'm in the vicinity
So we visit like very casual in cofffee house.
So i had brista biryani, garlic naan, stuffed naan and filter coffee.
Everything was awesome.
Will visit again.!
Keep it up

Have had cutlets, paper masala dosa, pulav and rose milk shake from this place. Everything has always been on point. Never went back disappointed and would highly recommend this resto to anyone in pune or near camp. Forgot to mention that the rates are also reasonable.
Nice little place with quality food which opened around 8ish. Tried the quick bite Idli Sambhar and Filter coffee. Sambar was yum. Quick service and polite staff.
One of my favorite restaurants.
This place brings back alot of memories.
Celebrated most of my and my dad's birthday here.
You get everything here.
It's an old restaurant but has kept up to its name.
It's famous for South Indian and North Indian food.
Do check out this restaurant.
One of my most visited place for Breakfast and Snacks. One of the best places for Traditional South Indian cuisine along with my ever favourite filter coffee. The ambience is quite primitive, it is reasonable with pricing and the service vary depending on what you have ordered. They have a small juice and shake corner at the side which has good selection too however the Sandwiches and Chinese are average.
Coffee House on East Street has been one of Pune’s iconic places that’s been around forever.
On a quick trip, we opted for breakfast at Coffee House. The Puri Bhaji is one of the best of its kinds anywhere. The Sada dosa was perfect and the chutney was pure coconut. Upma was soft and delicious. Filter coffee was just perfect. This is a clean and extremely well maintained place. Smiling and quick service, comfortable furniture and full of customers in love with the food. All veg, well priced. What’s not to love here?
Recommended strongly.
Went here today after almost 2 years yet everything feels the same. Like the food, liked the service, liked my visit!
It’s one of those places that gives you the old times restaurant feels!
Keep shining!
Best place in Pune for Filter coffee!! Always crowded, so you know it's popular. One of the oldest restaurants in the Camp area. Do try their Dosa's and Masala Idli as well.
Highly crowded place just opposite to SGS mall.
The ambience is of 90’s which brings me in my childhood days
The place gives uh the feel the touch of old days
They have pure vegetarian menu
They have tempting dosas I usually go there for dosas and the coffee
service is quite fast and sitting is very basic but in terms of taste I should suggest this place .
They have kept everything very simple n basic
They have variety of vegetarian dishes in main course as well

nice and quiet place for family dinning in front of SGS mall, camp.
i have tasted best filter coffee here today, SPDP was little bit sweeter than usual but it was chat-pata 😜😋
Love this place. Their 'Vegetable Crispy' is probably the best thing I've eaten. Also their Triple Shezwan Fried Rice is awesome.
In picture: Vegetable Crispy
We ordered rawa masala dosa, onion uttapa and medu vada.
All of the above dishes were tasty. You can go for it.
Just a little quibble. All the dishes were carrying excessive oil.
The taste of Chutney can be improved. Sambar was good but something was lacking.
This is an old place situated opposite to SGS mall, Camp. Its famous for its tea and authentic food. They serve only a few dishes but the best.
Try the tea there, its amazing.
I tried Dahi batata chat and onion uttapa, both tasted very well.
Lovely place for south Indian dishes in camp area. Been there for ages. Also serves North Indian food, only vegetarian food. Opp. SGS Mall, opens from breakfast till dinner. Usually crowded on the weekends. A must visit Resturant if you love food n love to try out different places.
The perfect place for family dining. Great ambiance superb food excellent staff. Just a little parking issue but the place is worth trying irrespective of that. Paneer starter and the soups are just amazing
Went here for dinner tonight. Was good experience even though it's a pure-veg restaurant.
The veg bhuna curry was awesome and the bread basket was something I liked. All kinds of breads in one serving- quite innovative that! Good service and overall good ambience to make it a go-again restaurant.
Feels Nostalgic . Very welcoming service as well as fast serve. Loved the sweet lime soda. Also good food .. specially pav bhaji. Pocket friendly. Good experience on a Sunday evening. Dont forget to try the filter coffee.
Situated at mg road, they serve the best South Indian dishes in Pune. Their tomato uttapam, masala dosa is a must try. This place is a haven for all the South Indians who would love to have their well cooked dosas.
P.S their coffee is great
Everything here is amazing. The food is delicious. South Indian is very good. North Indian os also pretty good. Typical 'hotel', this place has good food in store!
Coffee House is located between Dorabjee's and Clover centre, opposite to SGS mall, Camp. Ambiance is decent. Service is little bit slow.
Ordered rava masala dosa, ice tea and coffee. Dosa was crispy, served with sambar and chutney and it was tasty. Ice tea and coffee was nice.
Overall it's a good place to have south indian food.
This place is known the best for South Indian cuisine for a long time. As the name says 'Coffee House' their coffee tastes the best. Their masala dosa, dahi wada, medu wada tastes amazing. The place is usually crowded. It's cozy n there is separate Ac room too. The restaurant is clean n the staff is polite and friendly. A must visit place!
A really nice place to visit if you are near camp area 🙌🏼 Ambience is good 👐🏼 staff is polite 😊 Quality of food is good. Overall a very good place to have lunch or snacks. Specially their Cold coffee and Pav-bhaji is good. Only thing is their service is little bit slow but other than this it’s a good place.
Awesome taste. Every time I visit this place the more I fall in love with the food, may it be South Indian, Punjabi, chaat etc. Good service, neat and clean place.
A must visit for those who haven't and I m sure u won't be disappointed.

Awesome food we love the service provided by them quality and culture is v good especially all the veg varieties are meant to be tasted the masala papad is amazing
The flavours have been the same going back 25 years ... enjoyed their south indian (topi dosa, medu vada, uttapams) and North indian ( chola bhatura, panner pickle, mixed daal) .
We were very hungry and looking for some decent place to eat with minimal waiting time and entered the restaurant right across from the street where we were standing..
Decent ambiance, family friendly environment. No waiting time, and seating arrangement was very efficient.
Food was decent enough for the pocket friendly options they offer!
Coffee House has been located exactly opposite to SGS Mall Camp. It's famous for the Coffee (By it's name) and South Indian Cuisines. Though this is very old restaurant at this place they have still maintained their quality of food as of today.
I am visiting this place since long time now and have tried their South Indian Dishes, Pav Bhaji, North Indian Food (especially in dinner), Chat and Filter Coffee.
Generally, this place is very crowed on week-ends and weekdays too. But they offer you the table as fast as possible. They have quite quick service in serving food too. One will definitely get Fresh, hot and delicious food here.
I completely love this place for their simplicity and classic taste as always.

Recommend - Rava masala dosa , Idli fry .
Their unique drink 'Arabian Delight' is a must try . It's refreshing with a burst of flavours and a good after taste!

Nice place for snacking. I am a frequent visitor to this place for Sunday Brunch. Lookout for South Indian food, Misal Pav, Fresh Juices and Mastani.
Located just opposite to SGS mall. The best way to park your car is in SGS mall and walk here.
We had ordered Onion uttapam, misal paav and filter coffee. the onion uttapam was a winner and delicious. The serving is quite large and sufficient for one. Missal paav was average and very spicy. the missal was average. Filter coffee was again nice but cannot be compared to coffee in south.
The prices are little high. Waiters are very lousy and service is slow. You have to call them every time by waving your hand.
Will be visiting again here to try more dishes.
good ambience and good quality food... specially dosa and coffee. the service was also prompt and staffs were well behaved. the dahi Puri served here is also of good quality
Good place to visit for snacks. Quality is good, place is clean and easily accessible being on the main road of Pune Camp. Highly recommended :-)
Visited the very popular coffee house after ages!
We ordered:
Mysore masala dosa
Medu wada
Dahi wada
Watermelon juice
Grape juice
Both the juices were very diluted. Food items were decent 😊
Frequent customer here.
Best chole bhature n tawa pulav in town. Other things to try are rawa dosa, pav bhaji.

A great restaurant. There is a good variety of dishes to be tried. The medium used for preparations is good. Prices are good. Do try the vegetable cutlet when you come here.

Look at this Paper Masala Dosa, ain't it like OMG, that too in caps ???
As crispy as a good old Gujju Khakhra & can easily pass off as a decent Tea Time snack on its own. To eat this you have to have a trunk like a Jumbo & an appetite like a Hippo, yes it is that difficult to eat it & eat it completely. This is served with a mishy mashy decently tasting aloo masala, some sweet & spicy udupi style Sambar and a strictly average Coconut Chutney.
For 190 Bucks, this is like 4 Dosas packed in one, trust me, after eating this you wouldn't crave for a Dosa, atleast for a week.
Go take this Jumbo Flight to Upupi & the journey for sure would be worthwhile.
Ciao !!!

Stella Mendonca It's good to have south Indian food here but having baked beans here is a huge mistake. Imagine drinking half a bottle of ketchup with baked beans. That's was not a good experience!
After being disappointed by a few restaurants in Pune, I finally got to taste the delicious Chole Bhature at this place, which kind of reminded me of the Chole Bhature from Delhi's Chandni Chowkh . Well a few Delhi-ites may disagree with me, but guys this is Pune and we can't expect a perfect North Indian taste. Surprisingly, the tea served in here, doesn't have a " Masala" tag attached to it (Thank God!! ) , and it tastes like normal tea should, without the extra additions of Ginger and the godforsaken Masala!! Ambience is pleasant, appropriate for your gang of friends or family, and its Pocket friendly!! SO , I guess it ticks off all the points for a " Must visit" . :).. and Oh the location is kinda hard to miss, Opposite to SGS mall and adjacent to Dorabjee's
One of d good restaurant in camp area. Usually for small meet ups. They serve very good cheese chilly toast and fried idli is also good. Don't opt for sandwich as they don't serve grill as per waiter. Try to have some South Indian menu.Bhushan Barve

Located bang opposite SGS mall adjacent to Dorabjee's is this restaurant whose name implies what it is famous for.Visited by many folks for it's ubiquitous coffee and South Indian fare,we dropped by here for a quick lunch and here is my opinion on the same
The place has a decent ambiance pretty standard to any restaurant you would witness around. We got seated in the upper seating arena which had a much airy opulence to it compared to the simpler bottom seating area.Parking woes are omnipresent here, took me a good 15 minutes just to get a parking space for my bike.
Our lunch comprised of:
1.Paneer Chilli-I generally opt for this owing to the fact that this is pretty much a safe bet with hitherto unknown restaurants and you are pretty sure with the taste factor of this dish.Since I wasn't in the mood for experimentation,we decided to stick to this.Soft succelent pieces of cottage cheese in tangy sauces and we liked it.
2.Paneer Kadai with Kulchas/Rotis-Another safe bet here,we found it pretty delectable but nothing different from what we had eaten at like minded places. The Rotis and Kulchas were decent too.
3.Pineapple Raitha and Fresh Lime Juice-The Raitha was a tad too sweet for my palate, very similar to what you would call a Lassi, likeable if you have a sweet tooth😅The Fresh Lime Juice helped wash down the spicy proceedings easily.
Overall, this place was a decent lunch destination, but surely deserves a second visit to taste it's famed Coffee and South Indian dishes.Do drop by this place for a pretty VFM lunch experience if you are short of options and ducking for a decent vegetarian place. :)
Good south Indian food. Not so much variety in the Punjabi food.Chats rnt good excepting the pani poori. Good place for a quick bite.Must try the filter coffee.
Coffee House has the perfect location. It is right between Dorabjee’s and Clover Center, I.e. exactly opposite SGS Mall. So it is very easy to locate.
Whenever I visit Pune, I make sure that I go to Camp atleast once in that trip. So since I was a kid I have been coming to Coffee House, and this time around will be writing a review about it.
So last Sunday I visited Coffee House with my family. We got our tables quickly without much waiting. And this being a very old restaurant has still maintained its quality standards. The ambiance is decent and the services are also great.
They have a wide variety of menu, from Chinese, South Indian, North Indian to Chaat.
This time we tried Idli Wada, Sada Dosa, Hakka Noodles, Veg Manchurian (Dry) & our all time favourite Filter Coffee with toast butter.
The food was served hot and everything tasted delicious like always.
Totally love this place for a quick bite & also a full meal. And we absolutely love coming back here.
PS: They do serve Jain food. A big plus for that.
Ordered Veg Jaipuri and tandori roti for dinner but in veg jaipuri the vegtables was not properly chopped and not properly cooked its raw only. Roti was also not so good so ordered kulche. Please cook the vegetables properly. Rest of the services was very fast and nice as compared to other restaurants.
In the morning ordered steamed idli and masala dosa in the breakfast. The idli was dipped in sambhar. The idli was properly steamed and very soft, sambhar was very nice. Masala dosa was very nicely stuffed with masala and served with thick and tasty chutney and sambhar. Also ordered the coffee that is was also very nice.

Coffee House is is located bang opposite SGS mall in camp area. It's a pure veg restaurant and has been running for a long time now. Been visiting here since childhood days. They have a good variety ranging from South Indian, Chaats, Paranthas, Mughlai, Chinese, just to name few. Their Paranthas are a must have. So Buttery and tasty. A must visit place, if you are in camp. It can easily be spotted.
A legendary veg restaurant situated on Moledina road slightly ahead of Dorabjees. Its famous for south Indian food and coffee during any time of the day. They also serve some great Punjabi, Moglai and Chinese food as well that I've tasted. Ambience is decent with overall good service as well.
I've been visiting the restaurant since my college days and decided to head here to relive the nostalgic memories when I tried their Mysore Masala Dosa and some great coffee. A must visit and VFM restaurant
Hi friends,
I have been to coffee house several times and have tried a variety of dishes ...and to be true I have not been disappointed once....
I love the Coffee they serve..it's really refreshing..
I would like to specially suggest their few dishes...
1. Harabhara kabab in starters... yummy tasty starters served with pudina/mint chutney...
2.Barista biryani .....a treat for biryani lovers...not too spicy or oily ..good for appetite..
3. Their Misal is a must try for all...really tasty ...spicy and yummy...
4. I had also tried Veg pizza which was good full of cheese...it's more homemade type crusty one.
I would also add about the service.... The staff is rely good and the overall condition of hotel is good...the tables are clean and food is hygeninic...
Also all the items on menu card are pocket friendly ... Must visit for all vegies... :)
First time i visited this place was back in 2007 and it kept going. Their quality of food is excellent. Just love to be here. Staff and management is very polite. Even once i had lost my fone there and when went back to check. They returned only after well questing that I'm the rightful owner. Thank you guys for serving well. One need to definately try this place with their family & friends 👌👌👌👌👌
So to take a break from non-veg decided to go to this place. The food here is very good.
Really cheap and the service is quick.
location wise it's also good.
You should try -
1.Idli Smaber
2.Topi masala dosa
3.Uttapam
4.Vada Sambar
5.filter coffee
6. Some desert options like ice cream with fruits.
7. Namkeen Dahi Vada
the Indian and Chinese here is decent.
Ambiance- its ok but the food compensates for that.
Staff- courteous , know everything about their menu.
There were six of us here celebrating our friend's birthday.
We ordered for paneer garlic tikka, fries, kofta, paneer kadai, butter naan, kela pakoda.
Each of the food item tasted good. The paneer garlic was better than the fries.
Kofta was pleasantly flavored. The kela pakoda was ok. It was banana coated with besan.
The service was really fast and smooth.
Bill was reasonable.
Ambiance is well done. 4/5.
This place is love for vegetarians, ambience is simple and not that attractive, they have a large and delicious variety of south Indian foods, here I went for mysore masala dosa, the dosa was big in size to fill the stomach, the taste was good, the sambhar was luke warm, the chutney they serve was tasting very well, my friend ordered the pizza here which was disgusting, the cheese on the pizza was not spread properly the toppings were not enough, it was tasting like a chapati, now let's come to the service, service was just amazing fast and accurate
Loved the place! Most of the time I have to wait outside for place, but it's completely worth it. A pocket-friendly place for those who use to eat outside. The Chinese food I would recommend to try. Even the Indian food is tasty. Service is good. Staff is humble. What else you need,
Again a place near to my hotel in pune well m feeling so lucky that m I am surrounded by such good restaurants.
So ya i had returned from mahabaleshwar so wanted to have something light so i ordered masala idli & my friend ordered medu wada or sambhar wada.
Well quantity was great in such cheap price & even d quality. Good hygienic place to have food.
Staff is v good so 5/5 for service, food & location.
Had my breakfast here. Have visited this place quite a few times. We ordered for sada dosa and rava dosa. Both were good. You can get unlimited sambar and chatni. Their filter coffee is really good. I always get the feel of old world charm. Have been visiting this place for almost 20yrs whenever i visit pune. I like to visit in the mornings,as it is really peaceful, later in the day it can really get packed.
Food quality is very good....so the quantity ... parking can surely be a problem .... ambience is decent .... service is also very good....nice place to go in camp if u are in a hurry and want good food and fast service
I recently was in area and looked for a breakfast place - I saw this on zomato and had to try it out. We ordered the food - Cheese Sandwich, veg cutlet and a coffee each. I was expecting some high quality food based on reviews but this is not great. The service was very good - staff is very friendly.
Awesome food... One of the best veg restaurants in camp....Great service...a place where we can go with friends as well as family....
South Indian breakfast is delicious
Always good food, generous portions and affordable prices. Amazing natural ice cream flavors which you can't get anywhere else.
Leave room for the ukadi che modak, puranpoli, chikmanglur kapi ice cream or you'll regret it!
Overall, I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and was highly impressed with the quality of food and the ambiance of the establishment.
First and foremost, the idli and dosa I had were exceptional. The flavors were authentic and delicious, and the textures were just perfect. It was evident that great care had been taken in preparing the dishes, and I appreciated the attention to detail. The variety of chutneys and sambar provided alongside the idli and dosa complemented the flavors wonderfully.
Additionally, I must commend on the cleanliness of the restaurant. The dining area appeared spotless, and the overall hygiene standards were remarkable and gave me confidence in the quality and freshness of the ingredients used.
Furthermore, the ambiance of the restaurant was delightful. The tasteful decor, comfortable seating, and pleasant lighting created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff members were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu. Their friendly demeanor and prompt service added to the positive experience.
I will definitely be recommending to who are looking for a fantastic South Indian dining experience.
Thank you once again for providing such a memorable dining experience, and I look forward to visiting your restaurant again soon
This has always been my favorite place.
Food is of good quality

Very good restaurant. Excellent taste and variety of food. Must visit place.
The breakfast and meal variety is exhaustive. The prices are reasonable for this location. The restaurant is well maintained, clean and offers very quick service.
Try the burger and filter coffee. Cheese Dosa is also best. The Medu Wada sambar was awesome.
Parking could an issue though. Valle parking is available.

It's one of the oldest coffee house in pune. Specially it's best for south indian food. Authentic south Indian snacks and meals are served here. You'll get the best fliter coffee if you're a fan of filter coffee. It's a great restaurant to have breakfast and hi tea snacks. Staff is polite and helpful. Clean and hygienic atmosphere. Has quick service as it's always busy and crowded. Must try dosas and Medu wada here. The location is perfect and easily accessible. Only problem is parking, You need to park your car somewhere else and walk in here as it's exactly on the main road of camp area. Would definitely recommend.
Our favorite for family. Visiting this for decades.
Earlier popular for south indian dishes like steaming idlee, rava dosa, Mysore masala dosa, filter coffee.
Now they serve punjabi dishes as well as burger, pizza, pasta etc.
Cold coffee is awesome.
Best place to have filtered coffee and Mysore masala dosa 💯
Tasty,& yummy south Indian dishes.Other cuisines are also delectable. Portions are huge & rates are just right.place is crowded & you have to wait for your turn.Overall good food.
Good old place. Food is good. Service is ok. Ambience is good.
I have always Loved Coffee House and loved the idli that was served. The taste was finger licking for sure.
A good place to enjoy the food. The food was fresh and had excellent taste. It was value for money.
One of the oldest and best place. Just loved the Dahi Vada here, it's yummy and super. Medu wada was good and served in huge bowl of sambar. Paneer Piece Pickle is famous here that's same as paneer chilly just the difference is these are small pieces in size. The pav bhaji was kind of okay. Don't forget to try the plain cheese pizza it's something out of the world, best. Overall coffee house is anytime a best option when you are in Pune Camp.
Good snacks and food joint especially for early morning breakfast and discussion. It open at 8 and morning hot coffee with idly dip is my favourite, they have South Indian as well as English breakfast available.
Cleanliness is the thing pulls me every time to this restaurant and the consistent taste of the snacks and food is one thing I and my family likes the most.
