Mastach!!! I went here to relish and enjoy my friend's Birthday Treat and it was so very fulfilling. I love their service, their cleanness. The food was delicious and masalas were well balanced. I wish I could stuff myself more with the yummy food, but I had to stop. Talking about the hyped Aamras: I am neither a mango nor a sweet lover, hence I tasted just one spoon of it and I was done! Thali contains one paneer, one dry dal & one dry vegetable. It also comes with Kadi & three types of breads i.e. Daalpeeth (pulses & onion paratha), Bhakri (bajre ki roti) & Chapati. Also contains Dahi vada & Khandavi as snacks. After having this, they will serve rice & khichdi which can be had with daal or kadi.
Sweet dish includes ras malai & gulab jamun.
Taste - All the items taste really good. I liked Daalpeeth the most and ras malai (special part is that it is low on sugar)
Ambience - Ambience was fine.

The thali consists of 3 bhaajis, bhakri, thalipeeth, paratha, dahi vada, farsan, kadhi, varan bhaat, masala khichri,papad and 2 sweets with lots of pickles and one cucumber raita. Food was simple and delicious and the staff were so warm in serving, its like you are eating at your own home. The place is very popular so be there by 12.30 for lunch. One more thing is if you finish your thali, they give you a 30rs discount 😊
Searched for some thali places in Pune and that's how I reached durvankur. The ambience is avg but the taste is good. Dahivada, kadi, khichdi,shrikand , aamras/custard are all lovely, the place is pocket friendly and the service is also good the best part is about a discount of 30 RS which you can avail but only if you finish your complete food in the plate.
Value for money !! Super vegetarian food at a decent price.. loved the quick service and the items served .. it is always filled with people though .. Had to be in the queue for at least 20 min before I got through to my table .. but with such crowd I guess it is normal .. the only thing I could not find good was the wash basin area too cramped and not well maintained ..

I went to this place with in-laws. Its a proper dinning hall system. You will think there will be so much waiting after seeing so many people. But tada for ur surprise they have fast service and withing 5 mins you will get ur table. I visited this place on mango festival. I tell you it serves best aamras. I love the way they serve food its very quick. As soon as you got ur place u get served. Serving is in small portions to avoid wastage of food. Best policy is that if u finish everything served on ur plate u will get 30rs. Discount. This helps to minimise the wastage of food. Good innitiative. Coming to the menu, we were served two sabji, one was with cabbage and one was usal, dry potato sabji, aamras, shrikhand, papad, koshimbir, dahiwada, puri, fulka, dal, rice with lots of ghee, masale bhaat with ghee n grated coconut, kandabhaji, etc also there was a plate in which accompanied were kept like chutney, achar, mirchi, lemons, salt, etc.

Restaurant serving unlimited maharastrian veg thali. This place has been around for long. I remember visiting on my first visit to Pune in 2006.
Although the quantum of dishes in the thali is significantly lesser compared to Rajdhani etc, what separates this restaurant from other unlimited thali joints is their strong inclination towards Mahasrastiran flavors.
Their standout dish for me has always been thalipeeth, which has a lovely earthy flavor and taste. In season, their aamras too is a delight.
The lack of a beverage along with the thali is a bit of a dampener.

The thali out here is something to die for.Service too is relatively quick and the place gets crazily crowded during lunch and dinner hours.
We visited here on a weekday post a meeting nearby and had to wait for not too long but 20 minutes to find a table for ourselves. I guess it was totally worth waiting looking at the number of items we got to try.

I visited Durvankur to try their popular Maharashtrian thali. What I early liked in the thali was apple rabri, shrikhand, farsan, masale bhaat and batatyachi bhaji. The remaining two gravy preparations (matkichi usal and mix vegetable) were decent-nothing great as such. The staff is courteous and attentive. The best part is that you get Rs. 30/- back if you do not waste any food. Overall, a good experience.

Its very nice place to get delicious authentic Maharastrian food. They make it in pure ghee. In thali sweets are also awsm.everything is unlimited. Parcel take away is also so easy because they keep it packed ready to avoid waiting.

To fulfill my desire to savor authentic Puneri cuisine, my friends too me to Durvankur and was certainly happy with the choice.
Parking was quite easy despite the crowded location with basement parking. The Hall was large and equipped to handle the wave of patrons lining up to take the thali token and systematically attack the large thali with small bowls (katori) to ensure that ea H dish is given its due attention.
The waiters are quite swift in sensing which dishes are missing on the plate ready to replete them promptly. I tested their patience by repeatedly asking for refills of the sweet dish and they obliges without a sigh or a flinch. Overall a satisfying experience, will certainly visit again.
Veg Thali of Durvankur is simply awesome and Loved the food of Verity, Not too hot or spicy. Aamras, shrikhand, and dahi vada were excellent. Chapathi and bhakhari the great side dishes , good ambience, cleanliness, also miss the saunf variety. A little bit of waiting time because it was full of people. Parking issue because it is located in the old city. It is a very nice place to recommend once.
Food is good, can have it again..But they should serve Aamras without any adulteration, you can taste artificial flavours in it.. as you are charging 400/- per thali you must serve authentic Aamras.

Wow! Is my expression post eating amras thali from here! Food served is hot and top quality. I visited here on ramnavmi and it was very crowded. Waiting period was 30 minutes but I enjoyed the waiting also as food was finger licking. Don't be afraid of big queue, it will get to dining hall very quickly. Very professional staff. All are well behaved. You can get unlimited thali here so enjoy your food. If you love sweet, then place is for you. I highly recommend this restaurant for veg food lovers ! Do try amras thali. Amras is so good. Shrikhand is also very good in taste. Overall I'm in love with my dining experience here..
Amazing maharastrian thali! I had the regular weekday thali. The portion sizes were good and it was refilled even before one could ask. The staff is very agile and humble. The whole atmosphere was very homely. The easiest way to judge whether an eatery serves authentic food or not, is to see if local people patronise it. And most of the customers there on the day we visited were marathi/locals.
Bottled water was given with each thali. The custard apple basundi, bhakar/bhakri were the best I have ever had. Loved the Dahi vada, kothambir vada, thalipeeth and all the complimentary chutneys and spice mixes. Must visit for all people looking for authentic maharastrian food in Pune.
