They have the best beef steak you could have in town and my favourite sauce to go along with it is the pepper garlic sauce
Be sure to also ask for an extra "garlic mayo dip" to go along with your beef steak
Good food, i had lamb chops and custom ordered sizzler. Lamb chops were a little under cooked but the sizzler was bang on. Must visit restaurant.
This is the best place to spend ur Sunday evening with ur closed one. It's been my favorite since school days. The sizzlers and parsi food you get here is just perfect .

Me and my husband where there for my birthday. Ambiance was excellent.
We were there at 8pm, it's a small cozy restaurant. Seating arrangement and dim lighting, peaceful and all these aspects took us to a different world. Interior decorations is great. There is space for couple, small family and big family.
Zamu's have good options for sizzler, specially for those who are pork lovers. Apart Sizzlers they even have good variety of other dishes in non veg.

Went for family dinner and to satiate our craving for sizzlers. We had mixed sea food (basa and prawns) sizzlers , sizzling brownie with ice cream and drinks. Food was good. Quantity is absolutely perfect for ones empty tummy. Service is good too. The only thing that was not upto the mark was fish and chips. It was a black pomphret which usually smells more than the regular one. So, if one has a problem with the fishy smell, please do revise your order. Everything else is absolutely fine.
One of my favorite place in the city. Their garlic dip is to die for. Have tried sizzlers at so many places but the best part about this place is that they serve the best sizzlers in town. Go here in the afternoon for some beers and sizzlers I am sure no one is gonna get disappoint.

So this place has been serving some amazing food ever since many of us were born (1988 to be precise). Sizzlers & Parsi food is a standard here. It's a paradise for Pork and Beef eater with decent amount of options for Vegetarians and Chicken lovers.
Place has been the same for years. Don't be surprised if you see a family lunch arranged on a Sunday afternoon. That's how homely the place is for many. Quick service. Good food and yes, Chilled beers.
What else you expect for a good sunday afternoon.
We ordered Mutton Cutlets, Masala Fried Pomfret & Masala Chicken Shashlik sizzlers and to end the meal, some chocolate mousse.

I know that Zamus has been around from the 1990's (probably even before). I have been visiting it since then and it hasn't changed much! The ambiance is okay---has an old rustic feel. There are pencil sketches, pictures, and vintage posters of many celebrities. I love Zamus for the food it serves and recommend it to my friends.
It serves one of the best-customized sizzlers. Their 3-step sizzler programme churns out the best combinations of sizzlers. No wonder it is a huge hit among the food lovers.
My staple sizzler at Zamus place is Grilled Basa fish, along with mashed potato, sauted vegetable, rice, and chilly garlic sauce I guess---check with the waiter for the sauce you should use. He recommends the absolute best for the combination.
Recently went with a friend for lunch. We ordered non-veg Sizzler (Grill fish basa), veg 3-step paneer sizzler, iced tea, and fresh lime soda. All for 1197/-.
The staff is polite, friendly, and courteous. The service is a little slow, but that's what Zamus is about---sit, relax, chill, talk, and enjoyy both the company and food!

The ambience of this iconic place was truly amazing. Extremely soothing atmosphere with good music and the walls were looking wonderful with the vintage posters. The pig out and steak sizzlers were good. Felt that the pig out was a bit overdone though the steak was good. The fries, veggies and sauce were a good combination. Walked into this iconic place yesterday evening for the first time. Loved the ambience ,natural without much frill. Service as expected in the older places is what I call "homely".Ordered the Pig out sizzler ,along withe the steak sizzler with a choice of Asian Bbq and the garlic pepper sauce which came on the side. To have a Parsi flavour threw in the Mutton dhansak into the mix. Would rate the food as good ,the pork in the sizzlers can be done better,definite room for improvement for the dhansak.

Had been to Zamus during November. We ordered few starters along with drinks which were good in taste.
We then ordered the three-step sizzler - various combinations like egg, paneer, noodles, masala etc which was very heavy but great in taste :-)
Prices are on a higher side but this is definitely a place to visit if you want to try out sizzler.
Very nice restaurant on DP road, Good food, Service is okayish n pretty decent ambience.
I love the Scotch Broth n the Sunday Parsi set meal over here. Also the Sizzlers n the Continental food in Zamu Specials section is good.
U get Beers n Wines also, so yah if u are looking forward for a hearty meal with a Beer or wine, Zamus is definitely the best option.

Have been frequent to Zamus place over the past few years and I love it every time.
My staple at Zamus place is the three-step sizzler where I order -- Grilled or Masala Basa fish, along with mashed potato, grilled pineapple, burnt noodles, and spicy sauce. Try it, you won't regret. Oh yeah.. not to forget, it's all even better with a glass of wine or beer.
They have indoor and outdoor seating but the indoor seating has been nonexistent for me, I enjoy their outdoor seating.
Finally, I recommend that you visit the place with a decent appetite and eat and drink to your heart's desire.

Zamus has always been our fav hunting ground and as always when we visited last Saturday the drunken pork chops were sumptuous.
Only thing I would like the management to look into is the quality of the home fries being served with the sizzler cos it felt stale and wasn't crisp at all ...
I am super late with this review as Zamus place has been an absolute favorite since the last 10 years for me. Its a no non sense place with really good Sizzlers which has never ever disappointed us. Have no idea about the rest of the menu coz it's just foolish not to order a sizzlers when you are here. The best part is when you can customize your own sizzler in the elaborate 3 steps. Here's hoping that it maintains the same standard for the coming 10 years too!

I love the vibe of the place ..looks like a small American bar, with colourful walls, posters of super heroes etc., Metal chairs...(PS: I miss the big sofas).. they even have a small outdoor seating.
Service is excellent too. The help serving here have been doing their job so well for ages here.
Food... excellent. I love their sizzler.. there is a wide choice and array of meat available. I love the fact you can make your own sizzler with a choice of your protein, sides and sauce...
I had taken mix sea food where I had a choice between pomfret or a basa...and this came along with prawns.
PS: It's essential u team the meat well with right sauce, take a cue from some one taking the order.
If you love beer...you will love it more with sizzler. Enjoy the contrast.

Being a regular here, I've always stuck to some of my favourite sizzlers and have never been disappointed. I've passed on the Sunday specials before , but for a change I gave them a shot. Tried the bheja cutlets and the pandi curry. Both of them unique and deserve a place in the everyday menu.
The cutlets were light and made to perfection. The salad served along with the cutlets bring balance to the whole dish. This was made with a lot of care and effort. This showed when it was served.
The pandi curry transported me back to coorg. Pandi curry as most know is from coorg and one usually doesn't get authentic pandi curry in any restaurant. This dish is authentic and obviously they've brought the best from coorg. Its served with a portion of rice which is the combination. One of the best pandi curry I've ever had.
I have had one of the most amazing sizzlers in Pune at Zamu's. It is very underrated. Ambiance is nice old rustic. Outdoor seating is also there. Must visit.
We ordered, 1 veg sizzler and 1 non-veg sizzler. Taste was awesome. I will try this place once again as we only tried sizzlers. Next time i wanna try some spicy and also i will try some drinks too...

This one is a legendary place for sizzlers in Pune. Great continental dishes as well. My personal favourite is Chicken Kiev. Their finger foods are spot on and go very well with beer. Highly recommended!
Not a very big fan of Sizzlers but that was due to sub standard stuff that I had at various other places. This place on DP Road did impress me with their offerings. We ordered a Mix Grill and a Steak Special(we tried beef but they do offer chicken🐔 and pork too). Extremely well cooked and quite yummy stuff. Meat(steak, sausages, etc) is extremely tender, juicy and well cooked, and will definitely leave you wanting for more.
Ambience is quite good and has a characteristic good old days feel. Service is excellent. Menu has a variety of good options. But, the drinks options are definitely priced on the higher side and that takes away one star 🌟 from this otherwise wonderful place.
Overall, have to recommend this place especially for all the Sizzler lovers out there who would like to try some very good stuff.

Zamus is one of the oldest sizzler houses in Pune and there is no surprise as to why. Me and my best friend have to been frequenting this place for the last 9 years and is our go to destination for celebrations.
The Ambiance:
The environment is quit simple with enough lights in the outdoor section with a gentle breeze thanks to a good tree canopy. The insides are rather bland with yellowish lights and soft background music.
the Service:
The head waiters and captains have amazingly persevered through all these years and have aged quite well with this establishments. They offer sound advice to pair your sauces with the proteins and are overall enthusiastic. The newer staff appear to be in a hurry and miss out details.(ex. pork sausage or chicken sausage). The order usually is served within 15- 20 min depending on the number of proteins or sizzler ordered.
The Food:
This is where this place shines. the biggest plus is that apart from the tried and tested fixed sizzler options they provide you options to choose between your protein, sides and sauces. What it mean is you can go all heavy protein, fiber dinner or even splurge in high carb, higher satiety meals.
The choice of protein is quite extensive from chicken to beep. and usually cooked to precision. In the last 9 years i have had very few dry/ overcooked protein experiences and that really adds to the +4 rating.
Overall a chill spot, will highly recommend it for winter sizzler cravings and will bump it for the pork chop sizzler. It isnt very pocket friendly but worth the experience it provides.
Mac n cheese pasta is too good. Prawns fry is also delicious.. The greagory sizzeler is worth trying. I m impressed with the quality of chicken they serve here. So juicy, tender and tasty. Worth trying. Dont forget to try the iced tea too.

On 8th April I want to Zamu's. It a very nice place, it was my 4th time to dine at Zamu's. Old school restaurant. It's the only place for Steaks in Pune. Pork, Beef, Pomfret all the things are amazing. Let's talk about the food-
1) The Mixed Grill Ham Sausage:- Very tempting Ham & Sausage. Beautifully Grilled, peppery and amazing Ham & Sausage. No words to explain.

(1) Masala pork with Rice , mashed potatoes, veggies and garlic sauce.

The 1st bite took me to the old memories. Although there are some changes in the ambience but the food refuses to get it self rated anything below 5 . Amazing is the word.
The photos are self explanatory but the bill is pocket friendly and the dish is sufficient for 1and a half person.

Definitely one of Pune’s best sizzler joints if not ‘The absolute best sizzler place’, Zamu’s Place offers an exquisite dining experience combined with extravagantly gorgeous looking and delicious sizzlers. The special mix grill is what I order and trust me when I say its a meat lover’s dream come true. A perfect symphony of beef, pork and chicken topped with fried egg. Believe me when I say its much more delicious than it actually sounds. If your undying love for sizzler speaks for itself then you should definitely hop down to Zamu’s Place.
Food, as always is great at Zamu's. The owner of the place very warm and receiving. The place still has a that human touch which will keep u coming back to it.

Personally i think this is far more better than the sizzler's which they already have on their menu and definitely worth the money you're playing for it.

It's an amazing place. On the inside it has 90's sort of interior. It's at a great location. Now, they have make your own sizzler menu which is a little innovative, but you should better ask the waiter which sauce goes better with what. I really enjoyed my meal. Although, I think the quantity should have been way more.

Had heard about this place from a family friend and trust me it is a place you will not want to miss if you are a Sizzler fan! Tried the 3 step make-your-own-sizzler. Chose the beef steak with garlic sauce and fried egg, home fries and burnt garlic rice as sides. It was the best sizzler I’ve ever tried. Maybe even one of the top ten dishes I’ve ever had. Hands down the best place to have sizzler in Pune 😍
Best place in area to have sizzler. The BBQ sauce was good and very well matched with the chicken breast which had its own flavour. One thing I didn't like was- the hot plate was in direct contact with the food which burnt the food
It was alright. The steak was better than many of the hyped places in pune. The only problem is with the space. It's not so spacious so you kind of feel stuffy and sorts so.

Stuff available here more towards in-house type and lesser towards commercial type (e.g. they don't serve french fries but they serve house fries ).
The thing I like the most is sizzelr assembly and one can choose what he/she wants to eat in the sizzler (protein , carbs , veg and sauce ). Staff is helpful to suggest correct items , if you explain your needs .

The place has a nice feel to it. Looks like many of them here were regulars. We were guided very well through the menu and the person was very helpful. We had the fish and chips, non spicy as promised. The mixed grill was amazing. If you intent to have one please don't order any starters and skip breakfast. This is very old place and beautifully decorated.
However, nothing very special or different in the food (we ordered Sizzler’s in lunch).
The veg kebabs are very tasty, they are filled with cheese inside and it comes with sweet chilli sauce. The combination is very tasty. I had 2 sizzlers, 1 with grilled paneer and 1 with masala paneer.
Here you can get a customized sizzler with 3 settings: main, 3 sides and sauce. You can select main as paneer, beef, pork or chicken. In Sides, don't miss mashed potatoes, grilled pineapple, burnt garlic rice, sweet corn (if you like little sweet). Sauce, the best i liked is honey mustard and sweet chilli.
You will be full after having this much and you will like the food as it's not very spicy. Only problem is Toilets do not have water and even after complaining they didn't do anything. So carry your own sanitizer. Overall good food experience.

The place is a pale shadow of what it must have been once upon a time.and certainly must have seen better times. Like it is not air-conditioned. But when we went the weather was pleasant not only because of cloudy weather generally, but also because of the greenery nearby. So AC didn't matter. We had Veg sizzlers (the second one on the menu - without mushrooms). It was yummy and sufficient for my wife and I.
The food as always has been the highlight of this place. Garlic Chicken, and Sizzlers with draught beer is my favorite. Still ranks very high in my choice of places to go out. The owners work really hard and are always on their toes serving and talking to customers which is great to see. Love you Zamu's !
