It's an awesome place. Food is really very yummy and tasty.. Mayur really thank you. now Pune has one more place where one must visit. Actually The tag line "come hungry and leave happy" is really true....
Great food with excellent hygiene, the especially non veg menu. Owner personally sees that you are enjoying the food. Quick service even during rush periods.
It's an awesome place. Food is really very yummy and tasty.. Mayur bhai really thank you.
Awesome experience , awesome service, awesome food .
special for maharashtrian dishes........

Just loved it . Awesome food. great service .BEST
Best place for breakfast... Medu wada sambar is always awsome
Great place of all times. Very crowded but worth the wait filter coffee is my most favorite. Onion uttappa and wada sambar were awesome as usual. #Essential.
Hygienic and authentic, mouth watering food with the best service.... Loved the aura and wow food.
Best South Indian restaurant in Pune !! Onion chilli set dosa is something you can’t afford to miss! And they also serve great thalipeeth
The service is good and food is also great. The sambar is sweeter than one may usually like it to be. But, otherwise the variety is great and the Mysore masala dosa is amazing.
Always top priority for South Indian food and they never fail to satisfy your taste buds. I tried cheese chilly dosa, ghee idli and molgapudi idli over there. And all of them were just amazing 😍 But my personal favorite is Molgapudi idli 😋And most important very quick service and pocket friendly. They also provide us some healthy options like salad and different types of brown bread, tofu and soya sandwiches. So yess, a big thumbs up for this place 👍 Must try for everyone one😉
Good place as usual to have south indian food. Specially for this location seating area is small and expect waiting time. Parking is not available. Food quality is good as usual. Nothing to add more
Visit law college road branch on Sunday evening. So much crowd but got table after 10 mins. We ordered kothimbir wadi, ghee masala dosa and tea. In which kothimbir wadi was mouthwatering, dosa is also good but in ghee dosa I don't feel like having one drop of ghee😞😔😢. Otherwise everything is good.
Best place to have breakfast specially south indian food..must try Mysore masala dosa and medu vada Sambhar..
Ambience is good seating arrangements too
Had masala dosa and onion chilli dosa there. The food is tasty. It makes your mood happy; Because Good food equals Good Mood. Service is also good. Worth it going there.
Fantastic place. Good food. Wide variety to choose from. Good service. One can go there almost any time of the day and not be disappointed. Dosa-idali items are a must-haves.
I had been to wadeshwar on FC road. It's smaller compared to FC road one.
When we used to plan to go to ARAI tekadi, this was the place for south idnian breakfast.
We didn't even look at the menu to order. It was fixed. Upma, masala Dosa, ghee idli and tea. They serve upma in morning only.
I recommend this place if you can't got o FC road outlet, this is the substitute.
One Wadeshwar restaurant outlet is near my office, and another near my home. Meaning, I have eaten here since a long time and have never been disappointed.
From their South Indian dishes (cheese utappa, set dosa, dahi vada and appe being favorites) to filter coffee, sprouts salad, pav bhaji, masala pav, aloo paratha, chaat I have tasted almost everything and found it all delicious.
The ambiance and service is okayish, and you can come here for breakfast, quick lunch (note that the place is nearly always full during peak hours). Tasty food is guaranteed.
Perfect place for taking family or friends for South Indian snacks. Piping hot soft idli with tangy sambar and chutney, crispy onion rava dosa and filter coffee are my favorites. We keep trying different dishes every time we visit this place and truly appreciate their consistency in maintaining quality & efficient service.

Tasty Tasty Tasty!!!!!!!!!!
Food was really very good and well supportive staff. Ordered Tomato Uttappa and it was delicious. Good place to have morning breakfast and brunch.
Go to place for morning breakfast. Really like their ghee idli and tomato omelette. Corn patties are also very rich in taste. will definitely like to visit again.
One of the outlets of Wadeshwar at Law College Road and exactly nearby Film and Television Institute Of India.
I have visited this place multiple times and tried out their South Indian Dishes. Taste of food was nice especially their Sambar and South Indian Chutney. I always love the Filter coffee over this place. Service is also quick and nice.
Overall Rating: 4

Good place for break fast it road side hotel you will face notice pollution but good break fast which cooked in pure ghee not much oily..
Great exprns
What I like most about this place is quality and hygeine, you get the same taste everytime you go. I've tried south Indian couple of times which is just decent. Sambhar is sweet as usual in Pune. It has really prompt service. I tried thalipeeth with veggies from healthy eats menu and it was just heavenly! So crisp soft with good veggies and served with delicious yoghurt and mint chutney, full score with the accompaniment as well.
'Kharwas' at Wadeshwar.
I love this chain of restaurants that has gone beyond 'Amchi kuthe shakha nahi' and diversified into innovative cuisine. Pride beyond conceit. Every new outlet is a breath of fresh air.
#CordonBleu
One of the sought after restaurants when south Indian comes into mind. This legendary restaurant experiences a tremendous footfalls not only on weekends but also on weekdays.
Recommendations:- set dosa,rassam idli.
Sunday visited wadeshwar late evening, we ordered Dosa , pav bhaji and sev batata dahi puri , everything was very Good in test , prompt service, polite waiters, especially SPDP was delicious. Only Traffic noise is high.
With an already overflowing branch at F.C. road, they opened another one here at Nal Stop.
Essentially outdoor seating, they have a few tables indoor too. We had to wait for around 10 minutes on a weekend before we could get a vacant table for ourselves. This outlet is more comfortable and enjoyable than its counterpart at f.c. road. There's a lot of chaos, hustle and bustle at f.c. road
Coming to the food.... They have maintained the quality and quantity of food over the years. We have been their customers for over 8 years now. They provide ample sambhar and chutney at no extra cost; this is something worth mentioning when you have a hubby who just loves sambhar.
The ambience is not too decorative bit is nice. A pocket friendly place with good food.
I dint sit there to eat but took a parcel on sunday 9th of Sept from law college outlet. Masala dosa and 3 cups of tea. The reason why i am writing this review is not to praise their food (which no doubt is good) but the generous and a very good attitude of the guy sitting on the cash counter. Small gestures are important in service sector and I felt it. Keep it up.
Good place to have south indian food, Also pav bhaji is available. staff was good, it is a family place for fast food type items. Coffee served was good. can try for mini meals
When Idlis get tossed!
Molgapodi (idli gun powder), red chillies & button idlis tossed in a pan, tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves and some coriander sprinkled on the top, served with some coconut chutney is becoming my favourite snack here at Wadeshwar. Head out to Wadeshwar to relish this incredible bite.
We had pav bhaji, onion tomato special uttapam and chai. Pav bhaji needed a bit of sweetness, but the uttapam was just amazing! I guess one should preferably order south indian here. Definitely great for breakfast. Service was pretty quick too.
Nice small place.
Tried:
Misal
Cheese Chilli Toast
Cold Coffee
Everything was tasty and consistent with taste of FC Road branch.
Service was good and prompt.
Definitely a must visit place.
The place is small with no a/c seating available but there were sprinklers for outdoor seating.
We tried the fried idli (okay, didn't enjoy this one) and pay bhaji was good.
Service was good. A good place for a quick meal.
this place is best for breakfast. you can get any type of breakfast we usually eat. The product they use is of high quality & healthy to eat. you'll get the same quality at any branch of wadeshwar. must visit restaurant in Pune. special shabudanyachi khichadi.
Meant for a quick meetup or a hangout with friends or breakfast on a Sunday morning. The best filter coffee for my taste. Molagapodi idli is the small sized idlis sauted in desi ghee and gunpowder which is a coarse powder mixture of ground dry spices that typically contains dried chilis, urad dal, chickpeas, and sesame seeds. The green chutney that comes along with the idli is delicious as well.
What did I eat?
2 Medu-wada Sambar & a hot glass of coffee.
Bill Amount - Rs. 175
Portion Size?
3 Wadas a plate.
Approximate 200ml glass full of coffee.

Getting a place on weekends for breakfast can be a juggle.
If you are foodie and in Pune and not visited Wadeshwar then either you are not foodie or you don’t know Pune that much!!
Wadeshwar is a place which is visited by generations!!!
.
I have been to almost all outlets of Wadeshwar. Here is review for Law College Road branch!!
.
Food Quality: Good but can be better
Ambience: Good
Service: Good
.
What I had:
Uttapam: My favourite and always have same quality and taste in all outlets
Stream Idlli dip: Lovely
Kothimbir Wade: Amazing
Appe: It was good but I got small stone while eating (I informed management about it)
.
Best to Have:
- Masala Pav
- Uttapam
- Coffee
The first best thing that I have ever had at Wadeshwar is the Ghee Idli. A bowl of the Miniature Idlis, Sambar and lots of Ghee in it! Pure Bliss :)
The second best thing that I had is the Molgapodi Idli, so this is basically Miniature idlis with the perfect curry leaves tadka and Chutney to go with! 10 out of 10 for this preparation!
What I don't like at Wadeshwar is a little ignorant staff there. It was on a weekday morning I had gone for breakfast at the Law College road outlet and we sat on the table, the restaurant had few empty tables, yet we had to wait for someone to take our order for sometime. It looked like that they were not very busy too! Hence, I have rated only 4, otherwise the food is good :)
P.S.: For all you health freaks out there, they have a special healthy menu for breakfasts!
Legendary Wadeshwar !!!

Wadeshwar is been my one of the favorites since ages...same quality, taste and hospitality is maintained since many years
Today is Monday so probability of getting table immediately was very very high :-) so we got right day and right venue...
We ordered,
1. Pesarattu dosa - this belongs to Andhra region...I think very few restaurants in the city serve this.Below lines I got from wiki
[Pasarattu or pesara attu, pesara dosa is a crepe-like bread that is similar to dosa. It is made with batter of green gram but, unlike dosa, it does not contain urad dal]
They serve it with rassam and chutney
2.Set Dosa - 2 portions of Set dosas with spoon of butter along with chutney poodi , sambar and thick coconut chutney takes you to the heaven... absolutely classic !!
3.Molgapodi idli - #highlyrecommended
Mini idlis tossed with desi ghee and gun powder - molgapodi chutney...
You will get thick green chutney with this
4. Mysore sadha dosa
5. Filter coffee - coffee was good but personally I would still go with Vaishali's filter coffee
Overall experience - excellent.
4.5/5
Not sure why Zomato rating for most of the branches is below 3.5
Food(south Indian) here is tasty as compared to other restaurants.
It's a nice place to visit for breakfast and brunch.
Moreover the service here is promt.
I always prefer Maysoor Masala Dosa and Ghee Idli of Wadeshwar.
South Indian dishes are good. ( haven't tried the other dishes )
Chocolate brownie is also good.
Ghee idli : It will be great if you add some more button idli in samber
Cheese Dose - cheese was dry and like garnished on it. So please add proper and quality cheese.
Service 4.5/5
Food(South Indian) 4.5/5
Value for Money 4/5
Ambiance 4.5/5
Overall its good.
Being a regular, we got parcel for breakfast. Ordered idli and upma.
The idli was good.
But the upma was terrible! I don't usually use such sort of terms to describe food, however not this time.
*Upma was super super super spicy!*
I had ordered upma not misal pav with extra tarri! Upma isn't supposed to be spicy!
The management really needs to look into this matter.
Even the idli couldn't make up for the disappointing upma.
Will think twice before visiting again.
One of the best places for dosas, pav bhaji and coffee. I like the huge outdoor seating area with tress all around. Do try their cheese chili dosa, fried idli and cheese garlic toast ( amount cheese is too tempting). Coffee is a must!!!! Basically try any item from there menu.
When u r fasting then wadeshwar is must to go for fasting thali 😋fasting thali

Taste was sweet many of the items
Good food good variety good quality and good service.. a lot of outlets in all corners of Pune. So it is convenient for people living all over Pune
Mostly Quick bites , South Indian dishes are nice. ( haven't tried the other dishes )
Service is quick.
Situated on the busy law college road. Parking maybe an issue at times.
Amazing breakfast after a trek in the woods! One of the best Upmas I have ever had and the feedback from my fiends isn't any different. The coffee hits the spot too.
Wadeshwar is at the main Streets of FC road, Pune. Wadeshwar gives a perfect start to the day with a healthy breakfast. The restaurant has a limited space for indoor sittings but a huge space is occupied for outdoor sittings. Ratings- 6/10
We ordered masala cheese dosa. It was cheesy with typically south Indian masala flavours added in it. It was served with coconut chatani and sambhar. Ratings- 8/10
Service was quick and was served within 10 minutes. Ratings- 7/10
Will wait for my second visit to try new more special items!
Good place to have breakfast..Ghee idli, daliya, appe must try items...
Chai is ok ok.....
Ambience is good..Parking may be issue....Overall good experience

Went to Wadeshwar this Sunday morning for a brunch. Like earlier reviews, getting parking space might become a pain and you have to search in one of the lanes adjoining the restaurant for parking.
While seating outside, the umbrellas provide adequate cover from medium rain but the handle comes smack in front of your face and might feel as a hindrance.
Coming to the food part, we had the medu wada sambar, Set dosa and the onion uttappa. Personally felt that all of the food items were above average in taste, good in quantity and very reasonably priced. Also, due to little or no rush at that time, we could enjoy the brunch comfortably.
A couple of things I would like the restaurant to consider is the behaviour of the service staff. I know traditionally rich makes the restaurant quite an icon, however, the waiters were too nonchalant and acting as if doing a favour while serving and taking our orders. Really was a mood dampner and if possible, kindly look into that.
Wadeshwar has to be complimented heavily on the implementation of the GST wherein the tax has been built in the existing prices instead of increasing them flat across the menu card. Kudos to the management for this!
Quite a decent experience
Food – 3.5 /5
Service - 2/5
Ambience – 3/5
Overall – 3.5/5
Good family restaurant for a budget meal. Due to affordable pricing weekend rush is heavy but well managed. All south India dishes are very nice and must try
Not as good as their FC counterpart. The food could be better but it's still got their usual rush, mostly because now they also cater to the Krishna Residency customers. The masala dosa is really good and even the their rasam vada. Not the biggest fan of their idlis or upmas. Even the uttappam was very average. Not the best place for South Indian, there are far better places in and around Pune.
wadeshwar you rock- bave kaka is the KING of my heart say him i love him a lot - his fan the best in wadeshwar is moong chat, kothimbir wada, the appey, & etc etc etc 100% superb !!!
Wadeshwar.. best place in pune for south indian food lovers. Personally my fav dishes are onion uttapaa , appe and wada sambar. Quick service, great Food.
We were very much hungry, aimlessly roaming on the streets of Pune. Some how we managed to come to this place since my wife & mom wanted to have some thing in South Indian dish. First of all, this place is easy to locate on Law college road. They dont have there personal parking space. so we to find it by ourselves. The place was pretty crowded, But luckily we got a table in no time. So I was going through the menu card & kind of got lost in the wide variety of options available. So to put ourselves on a safer side, I prefer sticking to the Recommendations. so we had ordered Mysore dosa, Idli plate along with Aalo Paratha (surprised !!! .. Paratha in south indian rest .. but its definitely worth a try). All the items were excellent in taste, Even the Sambar which generally avoid was very very good. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of Aalo parathan which was almost liked dipped in butter & placed. Great. We all enjoyed the food & experience & so will continue to visit this place.
Cheers,
Prathamesh
Nice place with good ambience. Situated near Kanchan Galli, the signature dishes of Wadehswar are available. Taste is good and so is the service.
Had ordered a Tomato Omelette, Cheese Onion Utappa, Media Wada Sambhar ani Chole Bhatura. Finished off with a toast butter and coffee which was served in a glass. Food is Good. 😊
The one and only problem was dust. Tables and chairs were clean but the salt, pepper, sugar containers had dust on them. Were not clean.
Been there with my Mom...
Ambience is good..
Food tastewise is okay-ish and I feel the prices are a bit on higher side compared to the quality & quantity that they serve.. Therefore I feel that Wādeshwar is over-hyped.. One thing that's different is that they provide some variety in the South-Indian menu..
Our waiter was slow and a confused chap.. We ordered for a parcel of 1 plate Idlee-Sāmbār but he packed 2 plates instead.. Luckily, I found this mistake in the bill and returned the extra plate..
Had gone there with lots of expectations.. Came out a tad disappointed..
A nice place for breakfast, the food is a little overrated, quality is really good! Pineapple Shira is a must try dish.
Usually crowded in the morning, will have to wait for a while.
Has parking facility for 2 wheelers only.
Overall experience was good. It's always a crowdy place so you have to bear with it. We ordered masala dosa, butter masala dosa and fried idli. Masala dosa and butter masala dosa was up to the mark even sambar and chutney taste delicious. And about fried idli, it was literally chopped and fried in oil. No added masalas or anything in that. One of the best fried idli is our Polekar's idli fry near Cummins College. Anyways anything but fried idli was up to the mark. Must try(expect fried idli).
It was raining ☔️ so felt like having something hot to drink. When I saw the menu- this hot chocolate felt expensive at 125 bucks, but once it was served it felt delightful! The glass, the chocolate powder was very nice! In addition they give a gourmet chocolate with it. Overall recommended if you’re a chocolate fan😃
Wadeshwar at the entrance of 'Kanchan Galli' or the gateway to 'Hanuman Tekdi', Pune, is a simple yet refreshing eatery serving special breakfast and all day snacks and savouries. I liked the unique menu doling out Maharashtrian specialities like kothimbir wadi and corn pattice (pictured). It was delicious, crisp and soft. The ambiance is lively and spotlessly clean. Great place to meet up and be a foodie!
Pure Veg restaurant it was almost closing time when we got there so lucky to get food. Ambienc was nice with outdoor and Indoor seating.
We ordered Onion uttapa, Onion Chiĺy Uttapa, masala Dosa and filter coffee.
Food was fresh and service was quick.
Good food with nice vibes having mix of busy breakfast center and cafe. Had filter coffee and milkshake.
When we are very hungry and we get awesome south indian food is a blessing. We had Set dhosa, onion uttapa, idli sambhar. And to end strong filter Kappee. Thanks team will come again soon
Eat what you want, pay what you want is how I know this restaurant as.
Law college road desperately needed a nice eatery and Wadeshwar really filled that gap.
I like this restaurant as I dont have to decide much. My orders are set… Medu Wada dipped in Sambar, Utappam with Butter and finish the meal with a nice filter coffee.
Parking sometimes an issue, Kanchan Galli comes to rescue, but for 2 wheelers there is no need to worry.
Most of our Mountain Bike rides end with breakfast here.
Will add more pictures soon.
Fast service. Nice food. Clean and neat restaurant. Interior is great.
Opens early at 7.00 a.m., very limited options available for first half an hour. Overall Taste is good and is same as other Wadeshwars. Nice experience.
Parking is very limited.
Definitely recommended.
To begin with i really like the ambience in this place. Other than that based on what we had read the reviews i feel the place is a bit overpriced by looking at the quality of the food served here in terms of taste. We had ordered a pav bhaji and restaurant special appee. Although the taste was average - good it was just like any other restaurants but the slightly at a higher price. We loved the ambience here. There is indoor and outdoor sitting here. People will enjoy their time here for sure. But you will still have a feeling that you could have a better food at lower price point. Other than that good restaurant overall. This place is crowded most of the time. People can nicely spend 30-60 mins here and would not know if you have already spent an hour there. The waiters are good and polite. The cleanliness done by the cleaning crew is prompt and well sanitized too. You can view menu through a QR code here as well if contactless menu is prefered. So that provision is available .
You can surely try this place out. Have fun, take care, enjoy and live every moment.
It's a good place to visit and enjoy your food with family and friends. They have a speciality in serving south Indian food. The sambhar and the coconut chatani were just amazing. For the video please check my YouTube channel @dr.sandeeprathod
We went for lunch today. Had to wait for 10 minutes to get a table. After 10 minutes at the table a waiter took our order. We ordered Chana bhatura and idli sambhar. Both were good. We then ordered mumbai chowpatty kulfi and strawberry milkshake. Had to chase the waiter to give the milkshake, after waiting 10 minutes for it. Strawberry milkshake was only flavoured and had no strawberry. The rating is only for the food, for service I would rate 3/5. You can get parking (in a small parking space next to the building) if you are lucky.
Excellent spot for South Indian food. Cheese chilli dosa was a really delicious & unique item to try. Sambar and green chutney was very tasty, just like the home-made one. Cold coffee and other beverages in general were a bit overpriced. Rest was fine.
This Wadeshwar eat out is especially my Favorite one. They have amazing service - very quick. Quality of food never changes here it is the same and one of the best one. We go for breakfast or evening hang out most of the times.
Ghee Idli is a must have dish here.
Also you should try the breakfast time healthy sprout dish (Photo attached below).
Tasty food, their ghee idli is a must try, they have got it just right. Sandwiches are good too.
Nice restaurant. Basically another branch of a famous restaurant chain. Pure vegetarian. South Indian dishes are good. I like the coffee as well. Nice place to hang out with friends after a good trek up to Vetal tekdi aka ARAI hill
Just amazing no place can match this places vibe and test. This place won't disappoint you. They have many option in breakfast and in fast food. Must try dosa and idli fresh fruit juice too.
