If u are a vegetarian and live in Aundh u pretty much already know how good this place is , but to breaking it down for the rest of the people, first of all its a simple restaurant nothing to fancy , the consistency in the taste of the food is just amazing , one must experience there breakfast, the pav bhaji , Chinese food is also pretty good , over all its good enough for me to order from here every now and then .
Paneer masala was not spicy and tomato were not finely chopped in the gravy. Although Roti was very soft and good.

It's a famous economical pure vegetarian food chain on Mumbai-Pune. You can get delicious food here under budget. Good place to dine in with friends family. Descent ambience, polite staff and maintained hygeine. You can get various cuisines north indian, south India, chinese, italian. All under one roof. Located on DP road, can easily be spotted. Parking is limited at the place. They also offer take away.

I have been hearing a lot about this place for Pav bhaji, and then I decided to get there.
Pav bhaji priced at 130 bucks with good taste and enough quantity to eat 6 pavs. What one could ask for.
I thoroughly enjoyed the pav bhaji and this place is highly recommended.
Located in Aundh near DAV school. They are one the oldest restaurants in Pune. They serve South indian breakfast items, Punjabi and Chinese mains, pav bhaji etc etc.
Normally the restaurant is busy i mean full most of the time.
Have been there number of times.
Do try there pav bhaji, dosas, milk shakes, veg Manchurian, noodles, dal khicadi.
How about a hot, tangy, not-so-sweer bowl of tomato soup, on a cold winter evening? How about the same soup in a family style restaurant, giving you a perfect homely touch.
This is what Shiv Sagar is all about.
Though we prefer going out to fancy restaurants and trying out unique cuisine, this place provides us with our comfort food with a homely touch.
Be it their biryani with that old masala papad or their regular Indian food, Shiv Sagar never disappoints you.
You should definitely try their yummiest pav bhaji with lime soda.

Well this is a usual routine for us to have a food @ Shivsagar Aundh. And order is always a decided 04 best Pavbhaji in the world. As usual Pavbhaji is best, the service is a trademark.
But my little sister has observed something unbelievable that too not in restaurant but in Washroom.
As she told me I stand and went to washroom, the Thing which they have installed was never expected from restaurant which do wonders in business from the day it started. A great initiative towards Hygiene.
I have seen reataurants improving on Ambience, Service, Food but the Hygiene part (specially washroom) was never in list for them. But really feeling very proud and happy that Shivsagar Aundh gives important to Washroom Hygiene as well.. As a girl we only know how we feel and what kind of infection we go through just because of Unhygienic washrooms.

One of the best place to have vegetarian food in the vicinity of pimple Saudagar and Aundh .This place is crowded all the time but the food here is worth the wait.Snacks,maincourse,Chinese all food are upto the mark.Must place to Visit if u want to try good food in less money
Shiv sagar is a famous joint in Aundh and is basically famous for its fast food and North Indian food.the place is always crowded and serves good food.all cuisines be it Chinese,South Indian or north Indian are good here.we tried chilly baby corn which was par excellence and then we also tried their veg maratha, which was not very good.other than that,other vegetables were all prepared very nicely.the quantities were also fine.
All in all, we liked the place and would surely go again.
Love the pav bhaji, peshawari kofta sabji, and to my surprise love the Washington pasta too!
Pasta is a bit overpriced tho.

One of my favourite Veg Restaurants. Food, ambience, service is top notch. I always love spending my time here with friends and family.
We had ordered Kadhai paneer, Dal tadka, a few naan and a jeera rice. Kadhai paneer was tasty but the dal tadka was like not that good. Naan was also ok ok. Jeera rice was good.
But service here was really very slow. It took almost about 25-30 mins for our order to come to our table. After starting having the naan and other main course we ordered jeera rice which also took a lot of time to arrive. Nonetheless the food was partially tasty.
If you are planning to go to this restaurant, keep some time in hand and also ample of money as the prices of food in this restaurant are just too high.
This is a very amazing restaurant very good in taste be it Indian, Chinese, Pav bhaji, South Indian or Sandwich and service is also very good.

Food is good not great, service is worst as far as I can say. 70% of the tables were not clean and when asked to change it, they changed it but again it had spots of someone who had food their and thrown at the table cloth which the staff never cleaned. Hopeless service. Atmosphere is again okayish, not great but not bad. Food quality is good but the question is how can someone eat at a bad service quality and table? Again and again we feel like not to keep our hands on table due to hygiene problem. I never go for negative feedback but the truth is I just can't help it.
Tried s.s special spring roll which comes with sweet and sour garlic chutney, both goes very well. Give it a try ! Overall quantity and taste was good of paneer handi and veg maratha. Roti section seemed lil high priced. Veg Biryani taste can be improved. Service was also good.
