I'm visiting this shop since long time, probably since I was in school, today I'm working professional and I still visit shop to buy pattice,creamy rolls, coconut cake etc., all of them have the same quality maintained. I'm a big fan of it.
One has to be in queue and be patient to get the order.
Overall a good place to visit.
I remember my colleagues telling me to get the pattice from Santosh when ever I had a meeting in that area.
The best thing about this place is the veg pattice. Whenever you are around Shivajinagar in Pune this place is must visit. Do confirm the timings with bakery before visiting. Always crowded with people you must make your own way to the counter. Find a parking a bit away from this place, the road gets narrow and you can’t park the car right in front and get the parcel. Also try their cup cakes.
The best cup cakes. I just loved it from first bite itself. Best for dessert lovers.

Always crowded for it's hot and fresh patise and swiss rolls and soft yummy muffins!! We come all the way from Viman nagar to JM road just for those awesome patise. I would love to get those delivered to my place though.😅

One of the best khari pastis u ever got at JM road. Years n yeas we are having this patis n the taste is same as it was . Whenever u visit this place its always crowded but it never got affected on service. And the coconut cake (red cake) was🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Thankyou 🤘🏻

I have heard this is a popular snacks outlet which is always crowded. So we preferred ordering a carton of Veg Puffs for office colleagues. The potato masala inside the puff makes it different from other ones I have tried. The crispy layers are clearly visible. Go for it !

One of the legendary place in Pune serving bakery products since 2 decades, I was really craving to have the pattice and I visited recently with my husband.
We had the Khari Pattice which was crispy and flaky with good amount of medium spicy potato filling in the same. I have troed almost every product from santosh bakery and all are extremely delicious.
I firmly believe that the line No One can eat just one is applicable for the santosh bakery pattice and we had 2 rounds of the same.
Highly recommended place for all bakery products specially the pattice and khobra cake which are mind blowing!
I have practically grown up on their pattice, right from the time they were called Shelkes. Having a pattice and a coconut cream cake is a once-in-a-week affair even now! So is stocking up on their cream rolls.

I have been visiting this place in my college days. It has been 18 years and I can surely say that they have one of the best khari pattice in pune. Every time I pass by this place I make sure I do have it over there if not take a parcel and relish it at home. The Pattice has a nice flaky covering with decent amount of vegetable filling. It is not all oily.
The Khobra Cake is also one of the items which should be never missed if you are visiting Santosh Bakery.

Pocket friendly. Good hot pattice. You can go for it instead if you are planning to eat Vada pav or Dabeli. I can't come up with any other name if anyone asks about pattice.
You may have to wait a while before grabbing the hot pattice here but don't be late. They might run out of stock by 7.30pm. Good for pocket and tasty crispy properly stuffed pattice.

U will find large variety of Bakery products here but the most famous and Popular is its Patice(Veg Puff)... The crispy Patice has an awesome stuffing of Potato and U will get a hot Patice whenever the shop is open... The Cinnamon Role is another classy product which reopened my taste buds for sweets(I can't even take its fotograph as it directly went to my stomach ;-)) ... The bakery is very neat and clean... We were on the way to Nal stop one day, when my craving for puffs took a toll on my senses. On doing a quick search, I came across Santosh Bakery which was praised by many. Had to take a small detour on my way to reach this very small shop like structure. Not at all decorated, it was a small shop with a counter that was packed with 8-10 people. this was how it looked from far. There is no seating here. Once I went closer it was a total open puff factory (bakery). Every @step was open to see for its customer, such was the confidence in their working. The dough kneading machine, the way strips for the puffs are cut, and puffs are filled and baked- could see it all.
Finally, it was time for my order to come to me. The puffs were fluffy, crispy and freshly baked piping hot. The potato filling inside also had a very maharashtrian touch, very different from the puffs that you get in Goa.
Fun to eat them hot. We also got some cream rolls from here, but they had gone soft so were left over.

Being here for many decades this place sure brings up innumerable childhood memories. Their 'Akkha Pune mei world famous' Pattice is simply delicious !
Along with that, the Cream Rolls, Wati Cake, and Cinnamon Roll are also quite yummy and super cheap too. And what's amazing is the fact that they've managed to maintain the taste of each and every item for so many years!

Santosh bakery is located near Apte road. This bakery is really old.. Their pattice is the best.. anytime you visit this place they will serve you hot, fresh pattice. The rates of the pattice is RS.13 a peice. The masala aloo filling in the pattice is really good.. you will not get such pattice anywhere in Pune.. their timings are 7.00 am to 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
Their veg Pattice is the best in Pune... Three main bakeries for puneri Pattice santosh bakery, New Poona Bakery, Hindustan bakery. But santosh's Pattice can't be beaten.... Ek Baar khaoge to Bar bar khaoge.... Their freshly baked bread can't be sliced directly {the one in the evening lot) it's that hot.... Pilachi khari with the chai besides the shop is what a Punekar craves for in the evening... No one can match their quality....
