So pune has this jewel right in the heart of koregaon park which serves brewed beers and we guarantee that all of them are worth the try and you wont ge dissapointed in the end of the day.
The best part about this place is that they have food menu curated which pairs real well with the brews they serve here.
Apart from food and drinks the ambience here is super good and lively with old wild west theme blending completly well and the live music that plays there.
So what we tried :-
we tried all the brews our favourtie one was strawberry and apple cider �since we are light drinkers.
Food here was simply delicious from their butter chicken biryani to garlic panner tikka all paired up preety well with the beers here.
You can also go around and check how they brew their beers and its all gonna fasinate you and fall in love with authentic brews here
Deserrt was a hazelnut cheese cake which had nutella that was house made and this gives a serious competition to the actual nutella ..
In all Effingut brewworks are taking their brewing seriously and they want quality delivered to their customers and they keep up to maintaing the benchmark that they have set in the market.
Waiting for Effingut to soon come to mumbai and let the mumbaikars know what actual brews be like.

No better place than this to have a chilled cider with a music that changes with time.. The quality and certainly variety of the food is awesome, honestly the quantity isn't though. But it will leave you licking your fingers for sure. The attendees were up to the mark and the turn around time was impressive. The mocktails were also cool.

We went here today and first thing that struck me was the ambience. I'm a sucker for any place with books even though in this case, I'm not sure anyone could read with all the loud music. Regardless, I loved the place.
We ordered sangria, pineapple martini and door by sunset. Door by sunset is my new fab drink. It was so yummy. Pineapple martini was fine if it weren't for the curry leaves. That left an odd aftertaste. Sangria was good but I prefer the fruit chunks be smaller. It was quite difficult to get everything into your mouth.
We had bacon swirls, grilled bbq chicken and loaded fries. The last two were super yum but the bacon swirls lacked bacon. But it was soft and flaky which was a good thing.
My husband got pataya and I got Alfredo pasta. He didn't like the pataya. My pasta was good but it could've been better with some more seasoning...
All in all, I am quite happy with the dinner. It was fun and in a good part of town. I'll definitely go again..

My go to place in this part of the town - be it an abrupt mid week post office visit or a weekend plan where you let your hair down. Craft beer is super mellow, food is about right and the crowd never disappoints.
The beer is awesome and one of the best I have had for tap beer house-brewed. I will go again soon.

I think I could be the last person talking about an evening with a special experience with Effingut, but I am sure I won't be the last one talking about it's newly launched menu.
On a certain evening, a bunch of us were called at a spot in Viman Nagar after being told that it was a "secret tasting". So usually I assumed that it would be a blind tasting wherein we had to guess the dish or the brand or something on similar lines. Little did I know that I was about a enter a pandora of blissful events lined up especially for us with plenty of suspense, twists and turn all along the evening!
We hopped into a tourist vehicle and our journey began with an anticipation of where we are heading. The GPS location given to us, which was, by the way, correct, pointed to a no man's land in the middle of nowhere some 20 minutes away. As our anticipation grew, we approached closer to the location and suddenly entered a huge sprawling property - a luxury farm house welcomed us.
As we got out of the car and explored the open pools, the garden and it's lining of well trimmed exotic trees, the statues in the open, a wooden deck, we almost reached the front porch of the farmhouse wherein a large table was laid out in the open.
Still no clue into where we are and who is behind this - a few familiar faces popped out from the dark and completely took us by surprise!
They were our very own Manu Sir and Sanika - and reality beckoned us - who else can even attempt to pull off such a feat but Effingut Pune? Living up to its name and grandeur and it's swag, Effingut, yest again, managed to sweep the earth from under our feet. Maintaining the suspense, arranging a remote location - one of the best ones we've witnessed so far, arranging a travel to and fro for everyone, Effingut nailed it in every little way. There's a reason why this brand etches a niche in our minds. Every single detail was planned out to the T.
Well, snapping out by pinching myself of this "dream" we were escorted to the dinner table. To attempt a complete revamp of the current menu is a mammoth task for any restaurant. After spending months on trials and debating what to keep and what to toss out, Effingut has come up with the finest crafted menu one can fathom.
The menu is a progressive elevation of it's earlier version, and features some insane inclusions like bunny chow, bare back ribs, potato peels and a few irresistible chakna items.
The attached pics will give you a glance of the few menu items which we sampled. The samples were portioned out, and all the food was cooked in an open kitchen right in front of us.

Went on a saturday evening, had a very good time. Food and drinks were awesome as usual. Been visiting this place since a long time.. One thing i noticed was th Dj who was very average which was not the case in my previous visits. He was playing whatever he felt like and lacked the sync n blend. Songs were not cohesive and it did not keep the guests glued to dance floor.
Still i would recommend this place to everyone 👍
This place never fails to amaze me. Small but Awesome ambience. Music was loud but again they have an outdoor sitting, u can chit chat there, so they have taken care of everything. Go to this place only if u want to dance and drink. Food, starters are amazing but don’t expect much from main course, suggest have biriyani if at all you want to have main course.

This must have been the most controversial place in my Pune life.
Everyone knows this place is buzzing, cool, bear good crowd, people sway to the tunes, awesome dj and killer beer.
I went to the place on ladies night where they were giving coupons to all ladies.
They have novel beers. We tried apple cider, peach, stein pomegrante cider, hefeweizen and a shot of La chica silver.
The accompaniment was stir fried chicken which is appetite full big bowl of chicken and steamed followed by stir fired veggies. As i like to call it, a health bowl. It was so balanced in terms of cooking, texture and taste.
Then the second thing was cheesy murgh seekh kebabs which we could not finish as DJ played my song and i rushed to hum and haw.
I don't think people go there for food.
After leaving Gurgaon this was the first decent place we went to.
The place has a big board outside but inside hey have not given any navigation as there are multiple places there. Please put up a little arrow signs outside as well so that new comers do not get confused on that.

If you're in or around Baner, Effingut is the place to visit. They serve lovely brewed beers and trust me it's worth it. A true value for money place. The staff is courteous too. Jay, the floor manager is a very humble person and is always at your service.

Went for a friday night out. They charge 1500 as cover charge , that is non refundable, which can be redeemed by ordering from the menu. The place is usually packed in weekends and friday but eventually you will get a seat on the 1st floor. The music is good and the ambience is brilliant. The dance floor is full by the last night untill it is closed. The food menu is on the pricier side as compared to the portion
We had fish and chips and buff chilly. Coming to the beer menu- they provide you with testers before ordering a glass for yourself. We tried - Apple cider and Dunkelweizen, both had different taste to them and equally good. The whole decoration and service and ambience of the place is really cool. Must visit for a good nighlife experience.

We can talk about this place for hours. Sorry to point, but I like the place in koregaon park, more than the one in baner. I don't get the same vibe, ofcourse, the it comes to the crowd again. But, the biggest flaw I find is with the setup. It's a different approach, it's just an individual opinion. I am just comparing the setup, that's it. Food, effingut's standards didn't go down on this one. They make the best buffalo wings. It's juicy, tender and an entertainment for the mouth. Talking about the elephant in the room, the crafted beer I have tasted here, are one of the best you will find in Pune.
Hard music , great ambience, best place to dance, although drinks seems diluted, but you can enjoy to the fullest because the DJ is awesome.

Effingut is our all time favourite. We had visited the one located in Koregaon Park most of the times. We have had all the craft beers. Heifeweizen and Apple Cider are our favourite. Kolsch is the new addition this time. Music is at it's best. Go out with your friends and drink and dance here. At around 11 pm you will see everyone dancing here.
Bad habit in shooters is a must here.

This place is decent. We went on a Sunday afternoon. The place had about a dozen people in there. We ordered the Apple Cider beer and one plate of onion rings. The beer was fast, but the onion rings took some time to arrive. Overall, it was a decent experience.
This is undoubtedly best place for brewed beer. We went there on a weekend night with friends. Parking place was full , but there was place for parking apart from main parking area.
There was nice music going on there, you can do testing or beer and order. Waiters are good, service is nice. We unlocked our Zomato gold here.

Effingut is Effing good!
So this weekend we decided to visit "the bearded man" or Effingut Brewretz at Baner for a family dinner. Firstly the fact that they offer table booking made it really easy to get a place as the restaurant was really packed, it being a Saturday evening! The upper floor is where we decided to sit as the music playing in the lower floor was muted a bit above. The usual amazing selection of beers was back at it again and we had Hefeweizen which was a traditional wheat beer and Dunkelweizen which was a dark stout sort of beer with hints of coffee and choclate making it a nice mixture on the pallete.
Entrees served -
Crispy potato honey chilli - the traditional Crispy potato fish was given as extra spice with the honey chilli sauce that was sweet and spicy at the same time and was a delight to see due to the beautiful plating
3 Cheese loaf- Sureshot recommended to the cheese lovers out there as this pull apart load with beautiful melted chhese was a "cheesy delight" so as to say!
The mains had a beautiful Alfredo chicken pasta which was perfectly seasoned with al dente penne pasta and the Veg Pattaya dish which had gravy vegetables along with garlic rice and spicy flat noodles was literally "mouth watering"
A definite must- go for all food lovers and people who love a good cold beer have to visit Effingut to experience their variety of beers!
They have ground and first floor, so if you want to enjoy your meal and want to dance then you should sit in the ground floor. The music and the bar is in the ground floor. If you want to chill with your friends and have your meal and drinks then you should sit in first floor. Overall I liked the place.
My favourite bar since I've come to Pune. They give you a taster for the beers that they serve and the Drunkenwiser is my favourite. The best biting to order would be crispy corn and chicken wings. Also, they have a great ambiance.

Went here on a thursday night and the place was decently occupied! Managed to get a table instantly and the mood at the place was absolutely lovely.. Being the live band night the music was old bollywood themed but beautiful.. for food we ordered the chargrilled chicken steak with mashed potatoes and I must say those mashed potatoes were made to perfection..so moist and creamy.. and their apple cider beer was the perfect accompaniment! And for desserts we ordered the hazelnut cheesecake.. which just left us speechless.. right amount of the hazelnut topping with the right amount of cream cheese! Must say this place was everything i wished for it to be.. will definitely go back again!

Very relaxed and laid back place on Balewadi Highstreet road. Tried the belgian wit beer. Which was awesome to taste. Tried Veg Margherita Pizza, Barbecue Chicken, French fries all were amazing. In the afternoon it gets kind of hot. There's no AC section. But since there was less crowd we seated ourselves near the fan. Had late lunch here on Sunday. Attached some pics of food and the place. Rating 4 star for their craft beers. Old outlet in Baner was way better than this in terms of music, vibes, ambience. But considering this to be a bistro category it’s fine.
Recommendation: Hefeweizen, apple cider (if you like sweeter taste), Dunkenwisen, Mango cider, many food options available which is decent to pair with beers.
Efringut Bistro Concept
It is relatively smaller place compared to earlier outlet at Deron Heights Baner Road. This place is with multiple levels and lift. Conventional seating as well as sofas / couches. One small terrace at top level which can host about 20-30 people. Valet parking is available. Menu is same as earlier but now mutton and sea food preparations are out. There is inclusion of some hand tossed pizzas as well as sandwiches. They have about 15 taps but not all are functional. There are about 6 to 8 beers available at a time . Some interesting craft cocktails . Decent vibes.
A small micro brewery on Balewadi High Street in Baner, Pune. Verandah seating, background music and a smaller seating area indoors.
A good choice of beer, combination of craft, ales, IPAs. The Juwar Pilsner was a great choice. Light, with a subtle sweetness and very easy to down.
We ordered the Jalapeño and cheese poppers which were tasty and mild enough to not detract from the flavour in the beer.
Service was polite and quick. The beer can be ordered as a pitcher, a huge 1L Jug or a 400 ml glass. A taster tray is complimentary.
All in all, a good experience. Recommended.

Awesome crafter beers, taste of ciders which are not available everywhere. The happy hours from 12 noon to 8 pm. BoGo on beer glasses - glass costs around 270 normally. Food is also good. Chicken chilly is must have. Barbecue sauce is little sweet. Ambiance can be improved, it is awesome now as well.
