This is a legendary place of kothrud. I bet everyone must have visited this place once or twice but for me it was a routine especially for the coffee and meeting my friends. Its always crowded with youngsters and they have amazing food items in their menu. I enjoy every bit of this place and its one of my favourite since years as it is budgeted and happening place for many.
This place is like a adda for college people. Quality of food is good. Cold coffee is really famous. Also we always have vadapav, paper masala dosa and misal often.

This place is a feeling that can't be compared. Durga Hotel is not a place if you want ambience, peace. It is the hustle bustle of the place that makes it lively, it is a hotel that binds the MIT College Students, providing vivid menu with marvelous taste. Spending the evening drinking Coffee with your friends at this place is like a small reunion itself, we have lived our college days savoring the dishes that are budget friendly. Never had a week passed without drinking the Cold Coffee here. Everyone is well aware of the Winters in Pune, the Hot Coffee is equally famous here during Winters. Staff is friendly, for all those saying staff is unfriendly firstly develop your manners then criticize, I have been going to this place for last 4 years and never once I have been ill treated. If you treat the servers badly without proper respect don't expect anything back, you pay for food and infrastructure here not anything else, as mostly people prefer self service.
To avoid rush hours visit the place in afternoon, evenings are crowded with youngsters. If you're a elderly person who complain about young generation's social habits, this might be not the place for you. As said earlier it is a feeling, I have seen elderly people here too, some enjoy the aura around this place others just take their frustration out on youngsters.
If you're visiting this place based upon my review, firstly order Cold Coffee. If you're non-vegeterian order Double/Single Bhurjee Pav. Vegetarians can go for Paper dosa, Onion Uttapa, Misal Pav.
There is a lot of confusion between hotel durga and cafe durga but finally found out that hotel durga is the original one.......so i went there to have their cold coffee and cold chocolate...... there was rush whn i reached.....staff were not that prompt...... I ordered misal pav along with my drinks...... everything tasted really tasty.......misal pav had a perfect balance of every aspect of taste and cold coffee was really worth!!......would love to go their again

The best place in Kothrud to have a quick bite. It offers lot of fast food options like masalapav,pav bhaji etc. But this place is famous for its cold coffee and the different varities of it. My favourite is the old school normal cold coffee, whose consistency is thin but great for a cold sip. And the best thing about this place is price and quick service.
This has been my go to spot from college days. Like really long time back when the coffee was rs 7 believe it or not! So I decided to rekindle the fondest memories I had of college days.
A lot has changed the taste of bhurji and misal is pretty much the same. Coffee has changed lot but cold chocolate remains the sam. So far it is still crowded and at times i have to have my hot coffee standing up 😅 so in a way some things won't change here! Coffee is costlier than before but at times its not so good as it was before but alright well all I care about is my bhurji, misal and coffee.

OK, to be honest,this place does not need any review as for most of the young people in this area its just a place around which some of our best memories with your near and dear ones lies. This was the first place introduced to me in Pune by my friends 9 years ago when I came here for job search. This place has a lot of memories associated with it and most of them started with a glass of there cold coffee. Can't say that this is the best cold coffee served in Pune as I had even better cold coffee elsewhere. The only reason why I believe people visit this place is for the great vibes which you get from the amazing crowd mostly young. The coffee is okiesh and quicky available and so is the snack nothing special about it. I don't stay in this area anymore but whenever I am here I would make sure that i would visit this place with my friends just for old time sakes.

Hotel Durga - Very famous Outlet at Karve Road i n Pune. It is famous for cold coffee since decades. We tried Cold Coffee and Thick Cold coffe. Both were chilled to perfection and taste was amazing!! Price - Just Rs.30/- each.

This is a very well known place in Pune. Commonly referred to as Durga Cafe, this place is always bursting with people of all age groups, youngsters, families, and much more. In the photos are Hot Chocolate, Cold Chocolate, Cold Thick Coffee Shake and Double Egg Burji Pav. All of them were amazing in their own way. The Hot Chocolate was of a thin watery consistency. The Cold Chocolate and Cold Coffee were comparatively thicker and richer. The Egg Burji was spicy and flavourful. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

One of the best cold chocolate.... They have some different recipe for this... It's difficult to describe, you try it and you will enjoy it.

This place serves decent missal pav.... It comprises of Matki usal , Farsan , chopped tomato,onion , served with bread and Tarri...

Misal and cold coffee to help it down the tummy are the obvious choice for my visits to Hotel Durga. Also famously known as Main Durga.
Durga can be arguably called one of the cities legendary favourite places for fast food. Located bang on the main busy Paud road this place attracts crowd from students to bachelors and hungry folks of all ages.
The theme of this hotel changes on the time of the day. Mornings you'll see the Poha and chutney do their magic with Hot coffee topped with chocolate powder. The coffee is sweet and thick due to use of cream. But the fans love the thick sweet coffee and it has made a name for it in their hearts. Personally I'm a hard core pure coffee drinker and prefer less milk but then for my memories at this place still hold an exception for the coffee.
Afternoons visits call for Misal, Cheese Masala Pav and Cold Coffee. Spicy hot Misal and Cold Sweet Coffee are like match made in heaven. I have been enjoying this combo ever since the Cold coffee waa priced as low as 10rps. This is a must have combo.

I went here for the first time. We ordered Misal Pav, Double Egg Cheese Bhurji and Cold Coffee.
Double Egg Cheese Bhurji was nice, it came in good quantity with ample amount of cheese and 1 pav jodi which were lightly toasted. But, there was nothing unique about the Bhurji.
Misal Pav was pretty awsome and better than many misal special restaurant. Misal came with a good quantity comapred with price.
Cold coffee was unusual. It was not thick but it was delicious. It was having particualr taste of Coffee and coco together which was a great mixture. I enjoyed it a lot.
Its not a pocket friendly restaurant but worths visiting.

Its a place where generally students from nearby colleges like MIT hang out before and after college hours.

Durga.... What can I say about this place!! The most ancient place and reputed too in kothrud!! For college students it's like their life😂. The masala paav and misal and yeah.... The Cold Coffee these things made the place a legacy of kothrud. Must visit!!!!
These guys put the cold in cold coffee. My affair with Durga began as a student at MIT next door. This was our go-to place to sip a "cold" (i.e. cold coffee), back then in 2004 for a mere 8 bucks. Absolutely loved it - was the best way to beat the heat or to find an excuse for a break mid-night during project work time ;)
Their bhurji pav is also pretty awesome and highly recommended. Recently been here and the ambiance hasn't changed all that much which is a good thing - i.e. the focus is still on delivering good food at affordable prices. Loved the new thick shakes as well that they now serve.

If you really want to have the best cold coffee you can visit this place, this place is always crowded and serves fresh cold coffee everytime. It becomes difficult to resist the second glass.

In Pune, cold coffee has a cult following. I don't understand the reason but for sure Durga hotel must have been one of them. The first hotel in Pune who introduced the concept of "Cold Coffee". This restaurant doesn't have any other outlets (although there are many food restaurants with the same name throughout Pune city). The taste of Cold Coffee is the same since a decade. Anda bhurgi & a glass of cold coffee makes a very good start of the day. The concept of misal is changed nowadays, and thus, you are very likely to taste the changed taste of misal here. The service is an average one. The space is very less to accomodate, but still, a real foodie won't find any problem with it!!! Overall, an average place for a pocket friendly people.
