I received a food tasting invite from Mineority by Saby. I know the name sounds groovy. Chef Sabyasachi has come up with this wonderland when lifestyle from mining region of India has been depicted tastefully. Hence the Mineority.
Spent Sunday afternoon at this beautiful place. The tasting included bunch of mind-blowing preparations viz :
Virgin watermelon mojito - Melon flavored mojito is a book to start a meal when you have travelled for an hour to reach the venue.
Appetizers we had included:
Signature Black Chicken Chunks - Chicken grilled to perfection. The coal factor and black sesame paste made the chicken's sacrifice worth. Coriander chutney was complementing flavors of chicken. I loved this preparation.
Hill Coriander Sichuan Prawns - A visual delight by all means. Luscious prawns tasted amazing with the spices they used. The gravy was nice. I tasted 2-3 spoons of gravy without prawn too. Crackers were given for sides which were very tempting.
Kalimpong Chilli Cheese Rolls - I just love spicy food. When I hear chilli, I just say Yes, bring it on ! Shortly a neatly presented dish came. By simply looking at it, I could feel the crispy laminar covering. Rolls had the kalimpong Chilli sprinkled over it. Trust me, it was just hint of the chilli powder. In first bite, I could feel spice, yummy cheese and crispy covering. Liked it ! If there is way to reduce the oil content, please try. It wasn't a hindrance for me.
Mining Club Cutlets : Deep fried cutlets with that expected crisp. After a long time, I enjoyed cutlets.
Latin Queso Fundido – Liked the nachos served.
Mineority Fried Chicken - This fried chicken made me recall KFC. Dip was really yum. Chicken was tasty too. The coating wasn't oily at all. Remarkable !
Main course included 2 items.
Chingri Malai curry : Prawns curry always acts as a Showstopper. Curry seved here was creamy, thick and flavorful. Coconut milk base of curry was magical. Prawns were superb. I enjoyed this preparation with plain rice.
Shillong Mylliem Chicken : Chicken cooked in North Eastern side tasted great. Along with chicken, Pav was served. Like the ones we get with PavBhaji. This was a new dish for me. Liked it !
Desserts:
Tres Leches Cake : It's a three layered cake where condensed milk was the key ingredient. Sugar levels were really moderate. Hence I could enjoy the second serving of cake.
Dehaati Cookies n cream : Cookies originally from Bihar served with cream. Never tried such combination before.
Jurrasic Cheesecake : Cheesecake with chena base. A mild sweetish preparation. A distinct one to remember amongst the regular desserts stuff.
I enjoyed my meal. Thanks Mineority team for hosting us.
I went with my friends for the first time to this place n decided that this wouldn't be last because food was awesome n service was best. Guys this place is worth if you want to try something new and hatke from daily life food! I would definately recommend this place.
It's a great place with great dishes for your palette! It was my first time and definitely not the last time. All the items on the menu are worth giving a try. My favourite was the Chingra prawn curry with flavored sticky rice. Also the most funny item on the menu (under sweet dishes) is the most yummiest one. Plz try Dehati cookies with cream.
A place highly recommended if you are bored of the same masala kind of food.
Mineority by Saby – Loved by the Majority
Mineority Café and Bar is a tribute to the mining community that risked their lives on a daily basis working in this hazardous and dangerous profession. It is a combination of the words ‘mine’, ‘ore’ and ‘minority’ representing the people who are associated with this industry.
In India, the mines are mainly in the North-Eastern and South-Eastern belt and Goa and hence the menu of Mineority by Saby has been heavily influenced by those cuisines. He has also included cuisines from countries which have significantly contributed to the global mining industry.
The décor too is extremely well made up along the mining theme with photos and paintings of miners dotting the walls. The mining equipment too has been liberally used to recreate the theme.
So when #TheBTeam got an invite to cover the place, there was an instant chorus of “Let’s dig in!!” #TheBTeamExclusive #FriendsOfTheBTeam
For drinks, I opted for the Mango and Ginger Margarita [Rs. 400] which had a wonderful mix of the two flavors with neither overpowering the other. And looked drop dead gorgeous as well. #YumYum #HighlyRecommended
For my second drink, I tried their 100% Arabica Cold Coffee. Served in a milk bottle, this was an amazing drink. Slightly on the bitter side thanks to the strong concentration of the Arabica coffee, it ticked all the right boxes for me. #YumYum #HighlyRecommended
Appetizers
Tried something called the Shoe Rolls [Rs. 220] which looked more like round dumplings rather than rolls but as Shakespeare famously said, “What’s in a name?” These were fluffy dumplings of choux pastry stuffed with cheese, mushrooms and cracked black pepper. Tasted pretty good.
The Mining Club Cutlet [Rs. 190] is made with beetroot, green peas and cashew nuts with ground spices and dressed with kasundi mustard. Absolutely delicious to taste. And the crunchy nuts proved to be a perfect foil to the soft beetroot. #YumYum
The Kalimpong Chili Cheese Rolls [Rs. 200] were crispy spring rolls filled with spicy Kalimpong cheese, hill coriander and served with Bhut Jholakia mayo. Nice acidic tang from the cheese went well with the spice factor. The rolls themselves were thin and crunchy. Looooved these rolls. #DeliciousDelicious
Mineority has a couple of charcoal grilled specialty dishes – the Black Vegetable Skewer [Rs. 240] and Black Chicken Skewers [Rs. 370]. Charcoal grilled vegetable and chicken skewers with black sesame paste and served with traditional flat bread and coriander chutney. Slight hint of the charcoal flavor added another complexity to the dish.
The Tribal Fish and Chips [Rs. 320] wasn’t too eye-pleasing to look at when served to us but the crispy fried fish with patra, mustard drizzle, tamarind dip and chips tasted good. Tender chicken which went very well with the tangy imli chutney. #MustTry
The Odiya Chaniya Mania Fish [Rs. 300] had a sweet and sour surmai with seasonal sour berries and masala bhel as accompaniment. The dish overall had some good taste and the crunchy bhel was a surprise addition to the dish. However the kasundi mustard somewhat overpowered the entire dish.
The Hyderabadi Nyzams Mutton Seekh [Rs. 450] were charcoal grilled mince kebabs served with traditional flat bread and kasundi. Initially served as a whole piece of kebab, it was an unattractive sight, to be honest. A quick request to the chef to serve it cut into pieces was taken up graciously and the plate looked so much better. Taste wise, nice juicy pieces of mutton with just the right amount of spices. #YumYum
We also tried the Coal Field Margarita [Rs. 430] thin crust pizza which was freshly hand-rolled and stone baked. Really thin on the base, the toppings of Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil worked wonders. A very good classic margarita pizza. #DeliciousDelicious
Desserts
The Tres Leches Cake [Rs. 280] made with Latin American three milk cake of soft vanilla sponge, condensed milk and heavy whipped cream was the best of the lot. Beautifully plated, it was soft and spongy and very flavorsome.
Jurassic Cheesecake [Rs. 290] made with burnt chenna poda topped with guaja flakes. Inspired by the oldest cheesecake of the world from Orissa, this one was one ginormous slice, nay; chunk of a dessert. The different taste of the cheesecake certainly intrigued me.
Goran’s Bajadera [Rs. 290] is a classic Croatian dessert made with layers of biscuit, nutty nougat and chocolate. Was very nicely plated and presented however the hardness of the nougat didn’t quite appeal to me much.
Mineority is a fun and young concept for the miners, their loved ones and the mine-owners. It's where the miners break out in the evening after a hard day's work and bring their loved ones. So head out to this fun new concept restaurant and relax after a hard day of work. #FreakyFoodie certainly recommends this place!
A big shout out to Carina and Rutuja for inviting us and Kunal and Team Mineority for hosting us.
Amazing place..Even better food and drinks! Gives you a feel of fine dine even though the place is a lounge! Magic by Chef Saby! Highly recommend!
It's a cozy place to hangout with friends. I loved the theme. The presentation of dishes is worth witnessing. Music, ambience, service, food all is good. Will definitely revisit with a bigger group.

Beautifully done up, very innovative cocktails. Hospitality at its best by the owner. Going back for the food very soon!

This is one place which i love and I was eagerly waiting for something like this place to open in Pune. And as a musician i played a gig over here, The croud and the ambiance is perfect for the gig. And now lets talk about the food, Its just delicious and it becomes more interesting after getting to know about the place..
I highly recommeny everyone to atleast visit Mineority once..
This place is a wonderland for me! Lovely ambience, amazing food. My favorite ❤️
Amazing place ..food, ambiece, music everything perfect 🎉☺️
Loved the starters that were passed around.. Ambience also just killed the scene.. Farzi Cafe beware you got a whole other competitor on u.. Kudos once again to Kunal, Saby, Shef etc.
Food is out of the way !! One can easily make out that lots of efforts has been put up for the menu . Lots of unusual ingredients and tastes , the presentation of food is also fantabulus overall a different experience, interior is also very vibrant and lively . Thanks to team Minority !!!!
Brilliant place, very good ambience, rates are reasonable and innovative starters. (Please try the bhel they serve).
Separate sections for smokers and non smokers which makes it easy for all.
A place which has become one of my favourites because of the ‘out of the box’ food and drinks menu. The ambience is nice. The general feel is pretty similar to neighbouring Lord of the Drinks & FML. My first visit was around the time when I was pretty obsessed with starting my dinners with French fries or nachos. So, I ordered Loaded French fries. I wasn’t disappointed as the plate was actually loaded with lots of ingredients. My friend ordered Golden Fried prawns along with a gin based cocktail called ‘My yellow canary’. The starters were really tasty and the drink arrived just the way it looked in the menu card, pretty and attractive. For main course we ordered Asansol club murg makhanwala and one mutton dish which came in a tiffin box and also had chana chiwda (I am unable to recall the name). We concluded our meal by ordering Cinnamon Toffee Puff. I only had a bite as I was happy with the taste of lingering in my mouth. We clicked a lot of pictures before leaving as the ambience and the decor was very inviting and lovely. Overall, we had a great time! I am looking forward to visiting it soon once this COVID-19 scare is over.
Intended Rating - 3.5/5
Mineority by Saby is a Restobar located in Fortaleza Complex in Kalyani Nagar.
The restaurant is known for food from the mining regions of India and the world and hence is the name.
#Ambience
The ambience is modelled to show the connection to mining. We can see wheels, levers and simple machines hanging on the walls. As we enter, we also get to see a 3-D painting on the left with 3 mining workers with their helmet lights on and a tiffin box in front of them.
We can also see cages and birds hanging from the ceiling. Going forward we can see the spacious bar. The front portion of the bar depicts a cart carrying coal. The seating has a lot of variety from steel chairs to sofa chairs.
The place is adequately illumiated and one can feel positive vibes all around. The ambience on the whole is uncluttered which makes you feel relaxed.
We can also see mining worker helmets hanging across the floor.
We can also see wall frames related to mining, mining workers etc and glass painted with. machinery designs. There is also a sizable rooftop section where once can enjoy weather permitting.
It also consists of a small bar.
#Service
During my visit, the service was a little slow initially, but later on it became extremely slow. One of the mutton dishes I ordered didn't reach my table for more than an hour. Later on, I was told that the mutton is not cooking properly and after so much time, it is still raw. So, I was asked to order something else.
#Food
Mutton Kasa- This was a mutton dish in a semi gravy preparation. It was garnished with coriander. The spices were on point and the taste was good, but the mutton could have been cooked better.
Hill Coriander Sichuan Prawns- This had prawns stir fried in a concoction of fresh sichuan pepper from Nagaland and Hill Coriander from Meghalaya along with ragi cracker and other spices. It was accompanied with papad and the dish was decent in taste. Nothing spectacular about it.
Signature Black Chicken- This was a showstopper dish. It had grilled Chicken Skewers with a black sesame paste marination. It was accompanied with
Green chutney and Naan. The chicken pieces were succulent, flavourful and extremely well cooked.
#HighlyRecommended
Calcutta Chicken Biryani- This was a complete let down. The very look of it did not have any remotest resemblance to Kolkata biryani. The aroma was missing. The flavour of the rice was ordinary, so were the potatoes and chicken pieces.
To make up for the time we lost, they served us a complimentary dessert.
Goran's Bajadera- Bajadera is a Croatian dessert made with layers of biscuit, nutty nogat and chocolate. It was overly sweet and failed to please our taste buds.
I had a 50% off on Food Bill offer from Dineout. So, that saved a lot of money. They were courteous enough to not include the service charges in the bill.
Visited this place on a Saturday evening - great crowd - amazing music and we loved both the sitting - indoor as well as rooftop.
We had Coal Grilled Soya Chaap, Momos and Paneer Butter Masala Platter (YUMMYYYY all of them).
We took Green Apple Mojito and The 3 Penicillium Shots - Impressed amazing presentation of the shots that came in injections. HAHA
Great ambiance. Great food & drinks. Menu can be much better. Font very tiny. Had-
Signature Black Chicken - 5/5
Chicken momos - 3.5/5
Royal Chicken Basket - 4.5/5

Food and Drinks are good.
Love the cocktails options they had.
Food was reasonably good.
Ambience is also good, I refer to sit outside (they have outdoor sitting)
Staffs are really good.
Only one -ve point, you guys need to improve the service quality. It was very slow, slow enough that we think for another option (like to change the place itself)
we had spinach quiche, char grilled fish and pheonix chicken wings. every dish was so good and the plating was so amazing. the chicken specially was cooked with love it seemed. properly spiced and flavoured. crispy outside and juicy inside. perfect. we had gone there for an architectural case study. every corner and nook was just too perfect. the colours were vibrant. the walls were adorned with creative murals.
At prime location of Kalyani Nagar Pune. Staffs are very polite. Signature Black Chicken a must try dish...I swear you will not regret. Sorry to say, their Kolkata Chicken Biriyani doesn't taste like Kolkata, hence not to waste money on that.
Prakash was really an enthusiastic bearer n food was good n sumptuous, had a great time with family
I visited here with my friends. Amazing place. Great music. Special thanks to Prakash whose service was very helpful and courteous. Thank you Prakash for all the photos and candids that u clicked for us. The entire staff was well aware of the menu. We had a lot of fun. Special mention of mountain paneer with green gravy... Fabulous.
Good place. Food is different i.e. good different. Staff is very helpful and polite. Seriously quite accomodating people. It's good for dating couples and crazy (large) bunch of families. Had a good time. Will visit again.
Visited this place yesterday for promotion party...It has a cool ambience but the place is really small...dance floor as well is small...could accomodate hardly 50-60 people...Staff was friendly...Had spring roll, chicken spinach in the starters ....both were good in taste...Had daal rice roti mix veg and chicken in the dinner...some pastry in the dessert...food was okayish..not too delicious...edible I may say...Veg was good...chicken was not good ....Liked the ambience....can go out with your loved onces... #PuneNightLife
Cool place to hang out.
Their signature black chicken is a MUST TRY!
It melts in your mouth, it's full of flavors and comes nicely presented with flatbread.
Lovely place. Food and ambiance was so vibrant. Highly recommend to family and friends. Do visit and have panner kofta.
Excellent Food & Service by Ajit.
We ordered few delicious cheese rolls followed by Thai curry rice.. Which was one of the best till now.. I have tried . Awesome place.. In evenings on weekends as well
Having heard so much about this place, it was the first time we went here for lunch. It's very lively and has an upbeat feel to it with the kind of ambience they have and with their rooftop. For food we asked for their recommendation and they were extremely sure that we would love the dish. We ordered a plate of Tribal Fish Fingers, Shillong Mylliem Chicken, Kasundi Vegetable Khal, etc. The taste was brilliant and something very new that we had tried. It is their assurity for their food quality and taste that made us try this which is what is so wonderful about this restaurant. It's a must to go here with your friends or family and believe me, you will enjoy the place and go back home with a happy tummy 😊
Recently visited this place with a bunch of friends for a brunch. The restaurant is has and indoor seating as well as a rooftop with bar on both the levels. The whole restaurant has a rustic but modern look with the pop of colours here and there. The seatings are very comfortable. The whole restaurant feels like an escape from the cold boring cityscape as it a lot of mine related equipments and details inculcated in the interiors.
Their menu is curated very well. You will find a variety dishes in seafood, chicken, vegetarian etc. They also serve pork. In starters we had Kalimpong chilli cheese roll along with the Miners Cutlet- the roll was very crispy and the inside was all cheesewhich was an absolute delight. The cutlet had a very pretty color because of the beetroot and tasted amazing with the dip. I had heard a alot about their Signature black chicken so had to try that out for my self. It was and absolute heaven in my mouth. I could taste the layers of spices in which the chicken was cooked. Also had Coriander Sichvan prawns and Tribal fish. Not a prawns person myself hence loved the fish. It was topped with mustard so it gave a nice burst of flavors.
In the mains we had Guwahati pork served with steamed rice and Shillong Mylliem chicken served with pav. The pork was cooked to perfection in the curry and melted in the mouth. The chicken preperation had a very homely feel to it and depth of flavor.
Overall a really good experience. I'd definitely recommend. Its a must visit.

I was recently invited to try the delicacies at Mineority by Saby. Here's how it went -
I am a teetotaler. So can't say much about the drinks here but they surely looked great. The mocktail I had was good and colorful.
Kalimpong Chilli Cheese Roll - Crunchy rolls stuffed with spicy cheese. This is an absolute perfect way to begin your evenings. Very cheesy and a bit spicy.
Mining Club Cutlet – This vegetarian cutlet was perfectly crunchy fried on the outside and had a nice stuffing of minced beetroot (with peas and other spices) on the inside. Served with tamarind chutney, this will be a hit among the vegetarians.
Latin Queso Fondido – This was melted cheese fondue topped with mushrooms and caramelized onions served with nachos. The very silky cheese went perfectly with the nachos. This was an instant favorite. Do try this.
Paneer Suya Kabab – This was cubes of paneer marinated with a rather spicy marinade of peanuts and grilled.
Signature Black Chicken - This was grilled chicken cubes marinated in black sesame paste. This very eye-catchy dish was great in taste and had a slight smokey flavor. Loved it. Totally recommended.
Hill Coriander Sichuan Prawns – This was prawns stir fried with coriander leaves in Sichuan pepper sauce. Served with ragi crackers which went very well with the sauce this is a must try dish. Highly recommended.
Tribal Fish Fingers - These were fish fingers, crispy fried desi style and topped with a drizzle of mustard and served with tamarind sauce on the side. This was an instant fav. Recommended.
Guwahati Gateway Pork – Served with buttered kasundi rice, this stir-fried pork dish had a very earthy feel to it and was fantastic. The curry went great with the rice. Recommended.
Goran's Bajadera – Topped with slices of fresh green apples, this chocolate dessert was layers of biscuit and nutty nougat. This Croatian dessert was superb. Recommended.
Miner's Dark Devil Cake – A slice of dark chocolate mud cake, topped with cream and chocolate frosting, this is a must have dessert. You shouldn’t end your meal any other way than this. A must try.
Having been brought up in a mining community, Chef Saby has made sure to keep the great food from his childhood and from other mining regions, alive through his elaborate menu. Not only does the food, but also the ambience and the décor take inspirations from the mining community. I had a great time at Mineority by Saby. The lovely food and the creative drinks at this place along with the beautiful vibe, is going to get me back dining here soon.
Wanna visit a place which a theme of mines??
yes yes yes... this place is really cook.. once you will enter, you will be mesmerized.. ambience is really vibrant, quirky and they have used everything that will make it look like a modern mines theme restaurant.
and their cocktails are so so so good.. their presentation is up to the mark..
full marks for that.
They have an indoor sitting as well as a rooftop bar open area so you can select where you wanna chill.
food was super tasty and they made sure that its cooked to the perfection.
few of my favorite dishes were-
mining club cutlet
signature black chicken
tribal fish finger
mountain paneer
shilong myllieum chicken
Minority by Saby is one such restaurant that took my heart away…not just for the food but for the theme, ambiance and most important the history behind…
Don’t go by the word – Minority…Here is why the name is - Minority is the name taken from the word Miners. The restaurant is by Celebrity Chef Saby who belongs to Asansol (West Bengal). The city is a miner’s city who spend most of their life excavating coal. He himself was brought up at miner’s society and has themed the restaurant to the minors as a tribute to them.
Ambiance –
You will see impressions of a miner’s life all over. From miner safety hats to the coal used on the bar to the equipment used for mining, all placed differently to bring out a perfect ambiance. You would correlate to a miner if you know the background story.
They also have a rooftop space which is very colorful and beautiful. It is a perfect place for nice a cozy romantic dinner.
Food –
Talking about food…well not just the food but even the cocktails are so well made that it surely gives you a feeling that yes you are at the right place .
Handai Madi – This one was served in aluminium matka in cute sizes. Beer base with some cream on top. Start from the smallest matka to get that perfect kick.
3 penicillium shots -3 injections put together on a wooden stand with liquor with chilly base…if the chatka of chilly is what you like then go for it all at once. You will love the after feeling.
Starters - Signature Black Chicken was so well made with all spices well balanced and the color had that perfect cal like texture. Delicious and so soft.
Tribal fish finger – You will feel the tribal flavors with each bite you take
Main course –
It was very diff to choose but something out of the box with tribal flavors was Hill Coriander Sichuan Prawns with Raagi Crackers. Break the cracker and have the prawn curry with it …dip and savor…thank me later
Dessert - Miners Devil Cake in desserts has layers of dark chocolate with cream on top. It’s bitter in taste with smooth texture. A perfect choice for dark chocolate lovers
Please do visit this place once to feel the miners passion and the love for tribal food, all at the same place.
Nice ambience, good service.
The place has two levels of seating. The lower level and the rooftop. You'll have to figure out the entrance though. The parking is on the opposite side. The place seems good in the first impression it makes on you. The various graffiti on the walls and the safety helmets and the mining equipment used tries to give you a feel of it. The cocktails are visually very appealing the they taste okay, could have been better. The pizza is good, the thin crust and the amount of cheese you'll really feel like digging in. The bar is well stocked. Not exactly pocket friendly but it has #zomatogold so can't complain. All in all a good place for a couple of visits to try out the menu. Definitely worth a date place.. loads of love. Cheers...!!
Very courteous and welcoming staff.
Food was really good in taste.
Overall good experience. You should visit if you are looking for restaurant nearby.
If you need to satisfy your taste buds, Mineority is the place to be at. They have some amazing starters and main course filled with some cracking flavours. Natasha Dadlani was there and came in a couple of intervals to check on how the food was and gave us some amazing suggestions. Highly recommended!
We visited MIneority last weekend. The theme of the place resonated very much with their story. The Menu had some interesting dishes. We ordered a couple of starters - Veg/Nonveg and then the main course, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Service was also very quick and efficient. This place gets my highest recommendation and would surely visit again.
Don't wait....just visit this place... awesome
Randomly landed in this place, had heard its name quite a few times.
Staff is very welcoming and courteous.
Food was delicious. Must try their chicken ghee roast.
Fungi pasta was equally delicious.
Rooftop ambience can be improved.
One of the best restaurants I've been to in Pune. Amazing staff. Great ambience and music.
Mineority by Saby is the place which I heard a lot about. It was on my places to visit for really long time. It was an amazing experience visiting this place.
Chef Saby has planned and designed the restaurant so well that you actually feel the life he lived and the connection he has with the Mines which he has lived in early days.
The menu is also a mixture of tastes and flavours and has some reference from the mines. All the dishes that were served were just mouthwatering and yummy.
The Kalimpong Chilly Cheese Roll was my favorite along with Mining Club Cutlets, Paneer Soya kebab, Hill Coriander Sechvan Prawns were relished with some pretty and nicely mixed cocktails.
My yellow canary was a pretty looking nice cocktail. It resemble the Canary as it plays a vital role in the life of miner.
In main course I had some amazing pork preparation which was known as Guwahati Getaway Pork. If you love pork you should try this flavorsome dish.
Thus the theme and the food revolves around the theme and help us picturize the Mine and the life of a miner.
This place we chose for office team party 🎉 was new for everyone. We has outdoor seating which i believe can be enhanced bit more n also bit lively. Food was relatively tasted good however a little bit pricey which was okay if the ambience would have a grade up. Courteous staff and service was good ..
Excellent gem of a place, not sure why it's not full. Great ambience, superb food, courteous staff, nice music..
Everything that you need for a nice date.
And pocket friendly too..
A must visit...
A place designed beautifully by a celebrity chef keeping in mind a theme which will definitely blow your mind. It’s a miners theme restaurant which will make you fall in love with its authentic design.
Ambience:- It is a gorgeous place with ample and separate seating, it is evenly lit in the day time and gives a dim feel at night time and has a very beautiful interior.
Food:- We tried a lot of dishes from the menu and they were amazing, specially the know suey, cheese rolls and the desserts in the end were lovely as well.
They serve jhal muri (murmure) as a complimentary starter.
Service:- The service was nice as the food was served to us on time and piping hoti.
Hygiene:- The place was very tidy and the plates were changed after every course we had.
Cost:-There cost is very reasonable as they have taken in consideration all the aspects and kept the prices accordingly.
Recommended, you must try their specialities.
The meal was super awesome and that mocktail yeah that one hard one glass makes me feel dizzy woow
Nice ambiance and also the staff was so nice they are so humble and i love the food a lot
Nice place. Had to be one of the few places I like going. The shredded chicken is great and must try. One of the nicest place in this area.
Minority by Saby is perfect for all your lazy Sunday brunches. A perfect choice for big groups of family and friends.
Ambiance: The place hums warmth all around. Very thoughtfully decorated with the Coal Mines theme with non-conventional, industrial and distressed decor. Every piece of furniture thoughtfully chosen. The walls are massively decorated with coal mines theme paintings.
There is a signature wall of books that has a charcoal painting onto it which is the scene-stealer.
In short, a very instagrammable place. They have indoor as well as an outdoor area above.
Food: Complimenting the decor comes the food. They have a wide range of bites to choose from. From light Bar bites to the diverse array of main dishes.
We ordered: Kalimpong chili cheese rolls: Thin crispy rolls filled with Kalimpong cheese and, hill coriander, bhut jholakia mayo. So tempting that you will never have enough of these. These just melt into the mouth. Perfect for Bar bite.
Mediterraneo Miner's rustic chicken Pizza: Thin crust chicken pizza topped with Olives, fresh herbs, spinach, capers, feta cheese, roasted peppers, and Jalapeno. Mild on spices. Portion size for 2-3 people. Sumptuous.Service: The hospitality was very good. They were prompt to take orders and cared to take reviews of the dishes they served.Cost - Quite easy on the pocket.
Full stars for the Food and Ambiance.
A place that will yearn you to visit again.
Went here on Saturday. The place looks beautiful but the lights are too dim to take good pictures.
Coming to food, it was just too good! The staff was extremely courteous and gave us out some really good options.
I only wish there were more options in desserts menu.
I will rate this place 4 on 5.
Wat an Amazing place ....
Very good crowed
Best place for family dinner
Really loved this place
Food was very good had pasta which was really good
There are few restaurants only which depicts any story behind it, and mineority by saby is one of them. The theme of the restaurant is based on the miners and the mining community of India. Celebrity chef Saby belong to Asansol, a coal excavator’s town in West Bengal. Born and brought up in mining society he tributed Mineority by saby to all miners with a curated menu.
Visited this place few days back and without a doubt this place serves awesome food. Ambience is beautiful, they have a rooftop area as well.
Tried some amazing mocktails.
✓ Coconut melon smoothie: A health, refreshing smoothie with sweetness of coconut and melon. Thick and creamy it was.
✓ Black forest cherry+ chocolate: It was pleasantly sweet in taste. Chocolate shake topped with lots of whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and cherry at the top. Loved it.
Starters:
✓ Kalimpong Cheese chilli roll: Deep fried spring roll sheets stuffed with lots of cheese and sprinkled with chilli powder. Highly recommend.
✓ Latin queso Fondido: Crispy nachos served with Creamy cheesy Fondue. Highly recommend.
✓ Ghee roast chicken: A classic manglorean style ghee roast chicken. Soft and juicy chicken pieces that tasted tangy and spicy. It was flavourful.
✓ Black chicken: Grilled chicken marinated in black sesame seeds. Chicken pieces were tender.
Main course:
✓ Chingri Malai Curry: Chingri Malai curry basically a popular bengali curry made from prawns and coconut milk. Curry was silky smooth creamy yet unexpectedly light gravy and flavoured with Indian spices. Served with buttery rice and topped with mustard sauce.
✓ Imperial ronghun Khowsuey: Highly recommend for vegetarians.
Desserts:
✓ Miners Devil Cake: Layered with dark chocolate and topped with cream and chocolate frosting. This Miner dark devil cake has a rich bitter flavour and a smooth texture. A treat for all dark chocolate lovers
✓ Tres Leches Cake: Made of three different layers of milk. Sweetness was well balanced and it was soft.
Service was good. Gonna visit soon. :)
Mineority By Saby, is the restaurant located in Kalyani Nagar, has the concept and theme of mining after it. The ambience is also based on it. The area is spacious with super comfy seating arrangements. The ambience is very pretty and one can't get over it. Also there are paintings based on mining theme on the walls and you can also notice, a lots of canary birds staring at you :D. There is also rooftop area. One can also grab their lazy Sunday brunch. Must visit this place. It's beautiful and the food is lovely out there. Good quality food , friendly and courteous staffs. Thank you. Happy 😊
One of the best places to have food in Pune. 💯 I tried :
Melon Coconut Smoothie :
It was refreshing with the taste of coconut and melon and it also had a different colour. Highly recommended. 🍈🥥
Kalimpong Cheese Chilli Rolls :
The rolls were fat as there was a huge amount of cheese in them with chilli. 🌯
Latin Queso Fondido :
Cheese fondue with nachos which was very delicious. The consistency of the fondue was perfect. 🧀
Black Chicken :
Black colour chicken with sesame seeds which had a different charred taste. 👀
Ghee Roast :
This had a spicy ghee taste on juicy pieces of chicken. It was tasty. 🥓
Andhra Chilli Chicken :
Chicken Chilly but in an Andhra way with all their spices. 🍗
Chingri Malai Curry :
Prawns cooked in cocount based curry which was bery tasty and I highly recommend trying this. 😍
Imperial Ranghun Khow Suey :
The Khow Suey here also is delicious and the way of serving is also nice. 🍜
Tres Leches Cake :
Cake with three types of milk. This had a very different milky taste. Do try this. 🍰
Miner's Dark Devil Cake :
This was a Dark chocolate cake which was gooey. 😋
Overall I would recommend this place for tasty food curated by celebrity Chef Saby. Whatever you order will be good so do try out their food. 🤗
Mineority By Saby, is one of the few restaurants in Pune which has been established with the theme behind it. The theme is basically of the mining and the miners. So if you visit the restaurant you will see canary birds all over the walls. The ambience fascinates one who is inquisitive enough to know new things. Seating arrangement is spacious and even the charcoal painting will attract your attention. Staff is honest and service provided by them is quick and prompt is highly appreciable.
What foodiesoulmates hogged on-
1. Kalimpong Chilli cheese roll- Crispy rolls were filled with lots of kalimpong cheese, mayo and coriander, served along with fresh dip and onions. A perfect dish to nibble on. #highlyrecommended
2. Ghee roast- Marinated chicken chunks were cooked in ghee and manglorean masala. It was a flavourfu dish.
3. Tandoori fish tikka- Fresh and juicy fish pieces were marinated in the blend of spices and grilled well. The charred flavour at every bite was enjoyable. The chutney complemented the dish. Do give it a try. #highlyrecommended
4. Andhra green chilli chicken- This Andhra style chicken was rightly cooked in North side masala and green chillies. #highlyrecommended
5. Chingri Malai Curry- Fresh prawns were cooked in coconut milk and masala and the consistency was good enough to have it with flavourful sticky rice which was served along with it.
6. Miners dark devil cake- My fav indeed. All the dark chocolate lovers must definitely try it out. The mud cake layered with dark chocolate and was topped with cream, chocolate frosting and green apple. It was a sinful treat.
7. Black forest cherry + chocolate shake- The perfect blend of chocolate and milk. Topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, Oreo biscuits and cherry. The consistency wasn't runny. I loved it.
Also you get a complimentary dish here I.e., Bhel along with the chutney. Sunday brunch is also available here. All in all, had glee time here. Looking forward to try out new dishes here.
Amazingly done interiors! Ambience is good & good is great too!
They serve one of the best margarita Pizza in town!
Went there with my friends on weekend for a party. Mineority By Saby is a fantastic place to chill. It is a theme based pub dedicated to miners community.
It's ambiance is good and music selection is well too. Even the cutlery that they have used is good too. Service is decent. Earlier they took time to serve the first order but were quick later on.
Ordered french fries, garden vegetable tart, teekha paneer tikka, mushroom shoe roll, sesame paneer bao, hopper blond beer and virgin pomegranate mojito. Everything was superb in terms of presentation and taste but paneer bao was a disappointment.
- With SHRUTIKA DHAWAN and Akshay Kumar
Came here on a weekday and the place was almost full. The ambiance is beautiful and you appreciate it more when you read the story behind it, printed on the menu.
We had ordered the Imperial renghan khaosuey and I am an absolute fan of this dish. It was a coconut based gravy and had a very filling portion. This dish was a gastronomic bliss. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (5/5)
The next I had was a club chicken steak which was utterly disappointing.
The steak was not seasoned well and we were basically just chewing. The mashed potatoes were not bringing in the flair to the dish. The portion size of the steak was not fair to the price paid. NOT RECOMMENDED.
The service was good.

Loved the theme and ambience and they have a variety of fusion and exciting food..seekh kebabs were amazing. They serve a variety of candies including Tamarind Candy and milk chocolates at the end which was really impressive thumbs up for the service❤ they could work more on there portion sizes otherwise everything was good

Excellent food, unique ambience. Santosh provides us wonderful service. Will surely come back again and recommend others to visit this place
Went for Sunday buffet at Minority with a few friends and the food was awesome. Everybody enjoyed the food and drinks. Good variety of veg and non veg options in buffet.
We'd gone for Sunday brunch today, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The ambience at Mineority is truly fantastic, and the attention to detail is easily observable. The seating is comfortable, in a well lit environment, and the service is attentive without being intrusive.
The food was uniformly good, across the starters, the mains and dessert. And the cocktails were the proverbial cherry on top! All in all, it is easy to recommend this place to you, whether for Sunday brunch or otherwise.
This place is famous for it's ambience. A lot of vibrant colours with amazing wall paintings are a major attraction.
Not just the ambience but the staff is also friendly and manages to impress you with their quick service.
Special mention for the fried chicken. Huge chunks of chicken deep fried with an amazing thick crunchy outer covering tastes mind blowing.
Harrissa prawns are slightly spicy prawns. They serve almost 6 huge prawns with an amazing dip.
Chicken wings are always a safe option. They taste really good and juicy.
The best part about this place was the dark devil cake. Served with chunks of fig. It's a layered mud cake and the flavours of this can be felt in every single bite.
Updated:
Continues with their OG menu and cocktails. The restaurant does need some maintenance to the older decor and a minor reboot. Ordered Guwahati Pork curry and Chingri Malai curry this time round. Exceptional, except maybe the sticky rice could have been cooked better. Sangria pitcher was refreshing. Still a great diner and would love to keep coming back.
Exceptional cocktails and small plates. Mineority has kept it's food quality consistent and good. 70% of the menu is a must try and one can enjoy a leisurely lunch here even on weekends. On weekdays, do ask about their 4 course meal.
Lovely place, the food is extremely delicious!! I loved the starters the most!! Must try the signature black chicken 💯 The staff is friendly, Must visit place💯💯

Unique and pleasing mining based ambience from interior to serving plate and menu everything is mining based. Service was good and fast.
Cocktails
Handia Madi
It is beer based cocktail. Refreshing blend of beer, gin, honey and coconut cream. Frothy beer made from rice fermented in a handia. It was served with lime wedges. Squeezing lime made the cocktail taste better and less bitter. The presentation of this cocktail was amazing it was served in different sized handias. It was amazing. Loved it.
Bent it Like Baichung
It was a blend of gin, old monk rum, red wine, white wine and palm jaggery. It was uniquely presented in a football shaped container. It was good.

It was Vodka based cocktail and refreshing combo of orange and mint. It was perfect in sweetness. Loved it.
3 Penicillium Shots
This was a spicy cocktail. It was mixture of whiskey, vodka, Ginger honey syrup, gondhoraj(aromatic lime) and green chillies. This flavourful blend gave different flavors, first a mild sweet and refreshing taste which converted to spicy kick of green chillies. Loved it.
