Good place to go for couples. On 14th feb we was in in this restaurant and they decorated it way better than any event organisers.
Taste wise it was super tasty and spicy. We liked dum biryani also.

It's a two storyed restaurant with comfortable seating arrangement. Now coming to the food, we tried :

I really liked Hara Bhara Kebab[Rs.259]. It was mild in taste and very soft within.
Assorted Veg Platter[Rs.949] had all the tandoori starters like paneer, aloo, mushroom, kebab and cauliflower. Among all these, I liked paneer tikka and hare aloo.
⏺️ Main Course
We had Paneer Tikka Lababdar Rs.309] and Tawa Sabji and both were really delicious.
Paneer Tikka lababdar had a creamy, tomato based medium spicy gravy with soft paneer cubes.
Tawa sabji had mix vegetables with a semi dry, spicy gravy.
Special mention to Cheese Garlic Naan[Rs.117] and Ajwaini Lachha Paratha[Rs.84], both were too good.
⏺️ Desserts
Shahi Tukda[Rs.129] had bite sized deep fried bread, soaked in sugar syrup and topped with rabri. Totally loved it!

This place has always been my favourite from so many years. I have been here with my family my friends and this place has never let me down in terms of quality and quantity of food and by their excellent service.
Its two storey building with ample kf seating arrangements. Ambience is also quite descent give a bit feel of mughal emperor.
Coming to the food they have not so vast menu its minimal and picky enough.
Their vegetarian menu is also outstanding and tasty enough.
Coming to the Appetizers I personally tried their assorted Veg Platter, Hara barah kebab, Tandoori Chicken and Fish Tikka Nizami. I guess the veg Platter is enough for 4-5 people on a table who are vegetarians it's fullfillng. Also harah bhara Kebab is nicely stuffed and moist.
Tandoori chicken and Fish Tikka Nizami were absolutely the finest appetizers I had. The taste the flavours and the textures were so good.
The mains were absolutely delicious. Dhaba chicken, Murg Makhanwala, Paneer Tikka lababdar and Tawa Sabji.
Their Shahi Tukda in desserts is to die for.

After hearing a lot about their north Indian food last weekend I tried this place with my friends . it’s a small family restaurant with the sitting available for like 20 -30 people.
We tried many dished from starters to deserts and beverages as well Tandoori chicken ,Harah bara kabab ,Lasooni paneer tikka ,Paneer tikka harimirch ,Assorted veg platter ,Dhaba chicken ,Paneer tikka lababdar ,Tawa sabzi ,Cheese naan ,Sahi tukda
Food was good being a north Indian I can say its not the best but better than other restaurant serving north Indian in this area. Starters were decent and quantity was also good. Hara bhara were really good . second dish I like the most was chicken tikka : quantity is really good and it tastes amazing .
Overall service was really good , I think they should work on their interior and lighting more.

Recently visited this place in Baner which has brought food to another level. This is a very decent restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food with your family and friends.
I visited this place with friends and had great time.
For starters we ordered HARA BHARA KEBAB, LASOONI PANEER TIKKA, PANEER TIKKA HARIMIRCH and ASSORTED VEG PLATTER. Each and everythin on table was just delicious. Paneer was soft ans perfectly marinated. The platter had different vegetables, mushrooms, pineapples and much more which was finger licking good.
For main course we ordered PANEER TIKKA LABABDAAR, TAWA SABZI and ASSORTED ROTI BASKET. Sabzi was delicious and had all spices on point. It had this beautiful aroma which was so tempting that we couldn’t resist.
Even though we were full after starters and main course, there’s always a room for dessert. For desserts we ordered SHAHI TUKDA. At first this was not that appealing to eyes but, trust me the taste won’t disappoint you. It was so yummy and creamy that we just loved it. We ended our meal with a nice PAAN.
Overall it is a very decent place with nice ambiance and really courteous staff. Would definitely recommend it.

Desi Aroma is a place where I've been eating for a longer period of time. It was like my go-to place for Chicken tandoori and the mains.
I've recently again went to the Desi Aroma and was my experience was pretty good.
The things I had here -
Lasooni Tandoori jhinga - Garlic prawns which is something you should try it here. The dominant flavor of garlic goes hand in hand with the juicy prawns and it really tastes good. You'll definitely love it.
Fish Tikka nizami - Rawas fish marinated in nizami preparation which turned out to be a good combination. The fish was fresh and tender. At first we thought it's a chicken Tikka but as soon as I tried taking bite of it , the fish chunks broke into two pieces flawlessly.
Paneer Tikka - Paneer was so fresh and tender that even if it was given without any marination we could've ate all of it. The Hari mirch marination was great but on the milder side could've been a bit stronger to give that tick of spicy chilies. The lababdar marination was bland with no flavors at all. The lasuni marination was again good and had balanced flavors.
Tandoori chicken - I'm fan of Desi aromas tandoori chicken but this time it didn't impress me. The chicken felt dry which is the case if it's kept off tandoor for long time and it was sprinkled with oil which again felt weird. Because of the dryness all the juices which should be present in the meat was not there. It was topped with all the Chaat masala and needed things but the exact flavor was missing.
Overall experience - My experience was good but I would like to highlight the tandoori chicken part which I thinks should be taken care of.
Last weekend I had been desi aroma. For the best veg food in baner I will recommend it. They have lots of varieties of food. The ambiance is good. They have 2 floors with some peaceful music & lighting. The restaurant is a proper fine dine. We are 4 friends and tried many dishes. In starters, we had Aloo corn tikki , Harah barah kebab , Paneer bharwan islamabadi. Then we ordered main course Tawa sabzi, Dhaba chicken, Murg matka, Assorted roti basket, Dhaba chicken biryani, Subzi dum biryani.
Last but not least desserts made their place.

A cozy family dining restaurant, where you can relish on the Punjabi dishes, which is enough to awaken 'the Desi' in you. True to its name, the aroma is felt as soon as you enter. Has two storeys, each having a decor of an old RajWada type, and has a dim lit setting which gives you a good feel. Light music, comfortable sofa seating and a good staff, all this make your experience memorable.
Positives: Tasty and delicious food, good quantity, special starters and main course dishes, good ambience and Shahi tukda (worth mentioning).
What to remember: Need to climb a small flight of stairs to reach the indoor seating.
Some must haves:
1) Murg Makhanwala: A good version of Butter chicken, which isnt sweet. I liked the overall consistency and the well cooked chunks of chicken, just too good when had with a lachha paratha, kulcha or a naan.
2) Shahi Tukda: Worth mentioning, as this was the highlight of the meal. Although, I had a wonderful meal before, I couldn't stop at just one of these. The tukda when pressed under the teeth, oozed out a handsome degree of syrup (at the same time being crunchy enough to make a sound of that bite) , which was a heavenly feeling.
3) Lasooni Tandoori Zhinga: Butter Garlic prawns recipe, non spicy, melting in the mouth, delicious.
4) Fish Tikka Nizami: Moderately spicy, small, filleted chunks of fish, marinated in spicy batter, roasted to perfection. A must try for fish enthusiasts.

On Monday evening , Me and my friends wanted to taste authentic north indian food.
So , we headed to Desi aroma as we have heard a lot about this place.
We ordered Corn Palak shorba to start with.I must say it was one of the best shorba's I had and that too made of Palak.
In drinks we ordered jaljira, Sweet and mango lassi.
Both Sweet and Mango lassi were perfectly made, neither too thick or thin.
In starters we tried different items in veg and non-veg:
Aloo Corn Tikki -- A spicy paste of meshed potatoes , sweet corn, garlic, ginger and chillies gave it a new dimension to this famous Indian street food’s taste and texture.
Hara bhara Kebab -- A vegetarian kebab prepared with spinach, potatoes and green peas was really tasty.
Paneer bharwan islamabadi -- Soft paneer pieces having having good stuffing.
Tandoori kukkad -- It was a melange of spices like black pepper, cinnamon, smoked paprika, minced parlic, garam masala and crushed coriander.
Murg lapeta kebab -- Roasted and crushed masalas gave it a rich flavour.The exotic aroma of masalas coating the chicken makes it an irresistible dish.
Hussaini Seekh kebab -- It was a succulent and tasty kebab served with pudina chutney and freshly chopped onions.Lime was squeezed on them to enhance the taste.
After trying so many starters , it was time for main course.So we ordered :
Dhaba chicken -- Chicken simmered in a smoky onion tomato gravy and flavoured with aromatic spices makes this dish very delicious.
Murg Matka -- Delicious chicken gravy properly marinated with tomatoes and green chilies.
Dhaba chicken biryani and Sabzi dum biryani -- These were perfectly made by thhe chef. It has perfect blend of spices.
A dinner is incomplete without deserts. So tried shadi tukda. Perfectly deep fryied bread soaked in sugar syrup and drizzled with thick luscious rabdi was a real treat to taste budds.
So, Desi Aroma was a perfect place for dinner with friends and family.

Murg tikka biryani & hara bhara kabab lovely food good place for a nice filling yet tasty meal on a hungry afternoon.
It would be impossible to not give Desi Aroma a 5 star rating. Sometimes when a restaurant is just a little too good on the first or even second try, my cynical mind thinks - “No way they’re this consistent. They’re going to fork up next time.”
They didn’t. Every single time I’ve tried their food, it has been consistently delicious. The meat is always fall-off-the-bone tender, the spices are just right, they never “forget” to send a chutney ie add-ons in case of delivery.
They also make THE BEST TANDOORI in town. There’s no competition even. I have tried tandoori chicken from most places in the Baner/balewadi/wakad/hinjewadi area and no other joint comes even close. In summation, GO HERE. You won’t regret it
Been here several times over the years and this place didn't disappoint me at all. Staffs are very courteous though not well groomed. But their polite behaviour overcome their lack in proper waiter's etiquette.
Now mutton is a must try in this place. Do try nalli nihari over here, a must.
Murg dishes are also good, specially murg Afghani, murg Makrana tangdi in the kababs, murg Lahori and salli chicken in the main course.

I visited this place to try their mouthwatering dishes and some desserts.
And it was super amazing.
Ambinace is very decorative and traditional royal theme based. Simple seating at two different levels make it comfortable for every type of crowd.
Service was also very good. Manager service person was vell versed with the dishes. And suggested good dishes from the menu.
I got to try variety of dishes, bt my most fave were
1 Tawa Surmai: fresh surmai fish tendor with red spicy masala and grilled to perfection. Spicy delicious item can be have as a main course or even as a starter.
2. Chicken Lapeta Kebab: Chicken tikka kebab wrapped in white sauce was something new and tasty strater.
3. Chicken Lebenese kebab: this was my most fav from the list.

1. Dry Fruit Firni: Wow i could have it all the time, which not super sweet bt sweet enough to take away all the spiciness you got in mains.
2. Shahi Tukada: Normally we get full size bread topped with Rabdi, but here it was chopped in small piece on one bite and then it was topped with rabdi, so it was very easy to eat.

If you're looking for a place serving authentic Indian and mughlai cuisine, then this where you need to head out to. It has two seating floors, it is bit congested but the ambience is really beautiful.
They welcomed us with shahi sweet jeera water. It was very refreshing.

From starters we tried different types of veg, chicken, and fish starters they are babycorn amritsari, Stuffed Tandoori mushroom, Paneer Tikka harimirch, Chilly garlic chicken, chicken lapeta kebab, chicken Lebanese Tikka, Tawa surmai, Mustard jhinga jaituni. All of them were well cooked and really delicious in it's own way.
Highly recommend from veg starters would be stuffed tandoori mushroom and babycorn amritsari.
From non veg starters I would highly recommend Tawa surmai and mustard jhinga jaituni which is a prawns starter.

In main course we had Paneer kofta lababdar, Murg tawa peshwari, Dhaba chicken served with Taftan(a bit sweet kind of a roti type of bread), Laccha paratha, Roomali Roti.
Highly recommend would be Dhaba chicken and paneer kofta lababdar. Both were full of flavours.

Also we tried Chicken dhaba biryani and Firangi tarkari biryani. Both of them tasted really good. Delicious savoury rice dish loaded with spicy marinated chicken pieces, loved the non veg biryani more.

We ended our meal with two exquisite desserts that are Shahi tukda and Malai phirni. In love with their taste. Highly recommend.

Consistency and style, that's what Desi Aroma is!
So, I have recently met fans of this restaurant and I found myself, one of them. I used to order biryani from this place since the day I entered in Pune and the taste remained same till my recent visit.
Desi Aroma is shining right on the Baner road and is quiet popular in the area for its food. I got to know today the reason behind it. They have immensely worked out Indian food menu which is never a miss. Also, the consistency of their food and the style of their making is unparalleled.
I visited the place, quiet not happy with the low-ventilated sitting space but it is avoidable when good food is here. Service is competent. I was highly surprised to see the restaurant packed on a weekday for dinner.
Let's jump into food directly, I am recommending all as I think you should try whatever you like here according to your preferences.
1. Baby corn amritsari- That's an amazing starter dish. Crispy like anything and tasteful!
2. Paneer Tikka Harimirch- mmm the regular one. Not so special.
3. Paneer kofta Lababdaar- softest kofta I have ever tried. 100 marks for taste as well.
4. Subz Khada masala- A mix veg sabzi that can go into any meal.
5. Firangi Tarkari Biryani- I think this is evergreen and USP of Desi Aroma.
6. Shahi Tukda- A good twist to this regular dessert. I loved it.
7. Malai Phirni- It's a decent one.
Out and out, I am super-satisfied after eating an India. Meal after a very long time. Also, special mention to the Pan gesture at the end which is really good.

In fish I absolutely loved the Tawa Surmai and will recommend piscivores like you to opt for the same.
Not just this but the mustard jhinga jatuni was to die for.
In chicken we had the chicken lapeta kebabs and chilli garlic chicken which were equally good !
MAINS
Murg Tawa Peshawari was just yum and the best to choose from the mains.
You may also opt for the delicious dhaba chicken that they make.
Their Paneer Kofta Lababdaar will literally blow your mind. I, inspite of being a non vegetarian loved the same.
Also try their chicken biryani and you will love it!
DESSERTS
Malai Phirni and Shahi Tukda were the best I ever had. Please please and please order it else you will miss something thats completely mouth watering.

This place in baner has been a gem since a long period of time and people flock here quite often to enjoy some good indian food .
They just don't have a rich menu but the taste of their dishes are unique and authentic which always wants you to come back and i think for a restaurant that should be the forte!
I visited this place on someone's recommendation and i was really thankful for such an amazing experience.
The food here is exquisite. We had prawns , fish , chicken and vegetarian things* too and everything was fulfilling.
Stuffed tandoori mushroom is to die for! The mild creamy taste takes you to some other culinary world.
Tawa surmai was my favourite on table. It was so scullent and tasty that i had 4 pieces of it.
Other one on my recommendation list is mustard jhinga jaituni , it just cracks your taste bud like anything else.
In the main course , i indulged in dhabha chicken , paneer kofta lababdar 🤤 and murgh tawa peshawari with some roomali rotis and lacha paratha.
The standout dish was paneer kofta , it was so tasty and it just meled in my mouth.
I recommend it highly if you are a Vegetarian ordering here.
Dhaba chicken was authentic and a blast of flavours.
We had veg biryani and chicken biryani as well and i will say that they know their biryanis really well, loved it .
In the dessert, we had shahi tukda and malai phirni, both of which were just mind boggling , you just can't eat one piece or one spoon of it!
My favourite among everything was the shahi sweet jeera water. It is a must have after that heavy eating.
Ended up with a meetha paan and baam! You have a perfect dining experience.

Desi aroma which is located in Baner specialises in north Indian and Mughlai cuisine.
The ambience is quite pretty just like any other non-vegetarian hotel.
In veg starters, I liked their Babycorn Amritsari, stuffed tandoori mushroom and paneer tikka Hari Mirch. The Babycorn were deep-fried and crispy from the outside with a hint of chaat masala flavour on it. The mushroom was perfectly cooked and it had a spinach stuffing in it.
In non-veg starters, we went for Tawa Surmai which looked so beautiful and photogenic. I thought it would be spicy as hell but it had a more balanced flavour to it. The Surmai was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were enough for us.
In mains, we really loved their Kofta curry, Khada chicken,murg Tawa Peshwari and their Dhaba chicken.
All the main course items were delicious and perfect for my tastebuds.
The best part of the meal was the desserts which were shahi tukda and malai phirni. One of the best Shahi tukda in town!
Do visit this place if you love Mughlai and North Indian dishes and this is perfect dinner destination for family as well as friends.

Visited this plce recently. This place is known for lipsmacking non veg food...But to my surprise ,there vegetarian menu is also quite good with many starter options.
