I'm a die hard fan of their gulkand shake but as it was not available I had malai shake with a scoop of gulkand icecream. Let it melt in and had this delicious, rich and creamy shake.

This is our family go to place on weekends. The manager is very friendly and sweet. He always greets us with a warm welcome. The malai kulfi is no doubt one of the best I've eaten! Their ice creams are amazing too! If you visit the place, definitely try their malai milk which is thick and really tasty!
Its has special attraction for kulfi lovers. But icecream isnt that good to visit again.
I absolutely found none of there competitors in kulfi so far. I had Pan kulfi, which was scummy. I had Gulkand kulfi too, and that was absolutely wow. I also tasted malai kulfi, woah!! Toooo tasty. I recommend this place. The service is excellent too. 💯

Probably one of the few places in Pune who serve home made ice creams and also is know to serving unique flavored ice creams. We had the following on recent visit.
Basundi - this is a lighter version of rabri. Not too sweet and that is why this is the favorite product. They serve basundi in glass. Forgot to take a picture and hence won't be uploading.
Malai kulfi - this is a refrigerated version of basundi mentioned above. Not a big fan of kulfis but this product is however their best selling offering.
Malai, gulkand and keshar badam pista ice cream- malai ice cream had a creamy taste and a home made taste. Remember my grandma making these when we used to visit her. Brought back a lot of memories. Next was gulkand ice cream - recently I have noticed many restaurants trying their hand at serving gulkand ice cream and failing miserably. This small cost store however aces it and serves the best of the lot. If you visit this place, don't forget to have gulkand ice cream. Lastly we tried badam
pista Ice cream which was normal and nothing extravagant.

If you are looking for ice cream high in fat content, then this is the place. My favourite flavours are malai, paan, strawberry and mango (the last 2 are seasonal).
A highly recommended ice cream store. Gulkand ice cream and malai ice cream are great. Rates are pocket friendly and quality is excellent. Must try!
The kulfi is the main attraction of this blessed place.

Mohan kulfi promises 7 inches of uncompromising rigidity and flavour. The tongue being the strongest muscle is put to test here. I had to work my tongue for a gruelling 12 minutes or 134 strokes from start to finish. Worth it.

Let me warn you that the kulfi can normally satiate the craving of two. If you see one person gobbling it by him/herself, he/she is not one to me messed and must be left alone.

Best mava kulfi you can have ever. I have been going to this place for the last 7-8 years now and never was there any change of taste in this mava Kulfi. I simply love it. This is my by default order when I visit this place .

Sitaphal (custard apple) icecream- this is seasonal so hurry up and go and taste it asap at Mohan’s. Not as exclusive when it comes to taste but yes it has sitaphal pieces and definitely worth a try ! Taste -4/5

Mohan ice cream is a go to place whenever we want to have some delicious kulfis. We ordered choco almond ice cream scoop. It was yummy n there were enough pieces of almonds. I would highly recommend this place for it's ice creams. Happy Eating😋

Awesome varieties of ice cream. We have tried Anjeer and Chocolate flavors and both were equally good. Although this place looks like a little shop but don't judge this place by it's look. Never to miss kind of place when you're at JM Road. And totally worth after a delicious meal.

The ice cream is the best. My personal all time favourite is Gulkand. The person who sits on the cash register is an amazing guy with manners which show Customer is King which is completely opposite to the person who served me the ice cream. For a second it made me feel that he was doing a favour by serving me the ice cream. The thing that happened was I paid for my ice cream and asked for mine and even the person sitting on the cash register told him two to three times to serve me my ice cream but he was busy serving the ice cream to other ladies (so much more the question of equality). Anyways that was very rude and then later on he blames me that I was on phone. Yes I was on the phone but standing right in front of him. I remonded him 3 times at least and his boss reminded hime 3 times at least but in vain. He says I dint listen and went on to say that I was on phone. If such is the case then they should write on board that phones are not allowed inside the shop. I dint let it die down and in a calm way gave him right back in good humble words in front of the customers and his boss a decent reply. Rudeness is not justified. Please train your people to be humble.
One of the best ice cream joints in town! Malai Kulfi, the flavoured milk and Gulkand ice cream are some of my favourites❤️Infact all the ice cream flavours give you the perfect taste! With an increasing competition and modern joints, Mohan remains special due to its rich taste and affordable price! Worth the price :)
My go-to kulfi place on JM Road. Every time we go to JM Road for dinner, we always stop by Mohan for some kulfi- be it on a stick or in a cup. Their icecream flavours are great too! I really like the Choco almond one. It’s a must-try place.

very small place but some good ice creams. we tried the malai kulfi and gulkand variety. they were both amazing. super soft, cream and smooth. the gulkand taste lingers with you for a long time after. the pieces of gulkand are also very large even in that small kulfi. so a great experience of a nice kulfi after a long time.
It's a good option to try out something new. The ice creams seem to be have a very homely touch to them due to their creamy texture and content of milk. All the ice creams are well balanced in terms of sugar content which most of the local chains fail to do.

Summer is up and this place is bae if you are a kulfi fan. One the best kulfi is served here. And this place is well located and can be found easily. The service is nice. It is sort of small place but has seating arrangement. This place serves ice cream, kulfi and different flavors of milk.
Malai kulfi 4.5/5 it has the amazing flavor of malai and the texture is awesome. It is nice and creamy. The moment you lick the kulfi you have that flavor in your mouth.
Pista kulfi 4/5 it was nice and flavorful. The creamy texture made it look and taste more delicious.
Chocolate kulfi 3.5/5 It sounds like something weird but tastes nice. The choco chips you get in a bite taste's delicious. If you want to try something different in kulfi this is a good option.

This place is basically famous for the long sticks of Kulfi. Kulfi is available in 4-5 different flavours, but the preferred one is the iresistable Malai Kulfi. Ice-cream here is little bit less sweet but it tastes good. With more sweetness the Ice cream will be the one to have besides Kulfi. Seating capacity and Parking are the major drawbacks of this place. But worth a visit for the Malai Kulfi!

Too good! One of the best kulfis I have ever had. The Chocolate kulfi, with surprising bits of chocochips in between bites, is heavenly. Also try gulkand and the signature malai kulfi. Mohan Ice cream lives up to its age old reputation.

I always order malai kulfi at Mohan. But this time, I thought of trying something different and had anjeer ice-cream instead. The reason being- a) I have always had a bad experience with anjeer ice-cream particularly, so the desire to try every place to get the best one was there. and b) I was hoping Mohan would be an exception. And boy, I was right. Now I have more reasons to love this place..
Must visit place for ice cream lovers, Its a small outlet on J M Road,I have tried Malai kulfi, Mandi ice cream and Malai ice cream..Kulfi is too good and ice cream is muaaaaahhhh.. its texture is just picture perfect, its just melt in your mouth and authentic taste with pure flavour..I just love it.. Definitely worth to try.. believe me ..you will go again and again :-)
I have never visited this ice cream parlor. I was lucky to taste their Awesome Kulfi in my office when a noble soul gave his birthday treat. I had their Malai Kulfi. Awesome taste. After having one, I went out to check whether there were any extra pieces left. Sadly there were none. So this means I have to visit the outlet personally and try out some of their exotic Kulfis ; )

Visited this place after shaniwar wada. It's a small outlet on JM road. I have tried chocolate chips, gulkand kulfi and kesar badam pista. All are amazing. You must visit this place to get best ice cream at very cheap price.
This place is one of my friend. I Visit only in his absence 😉. If you fan of ice cream this place is in must try list. Kulfi lovers try malai Kulfi of this place. Shakes are awsum. Seasonal fruit touch to shakes and ice cream are awsum. 5/5 nothing less.
Really good creamy ice cream. No gelatin and really good. Their kulfi is something you should really try. Only one thing they should add is start serving ice cream in cones.

Some places have their own signature of taste, this is one of them. After a hungry day I had dinner at supreme corner. Just after saw a board of mohan icecream in nearby area; tried a keshar badam pista the taste was awesome. Absolutely one of the best ice cream serving place of pune. Couldn't resist to try another flavour , so tried butterscotch it was even better. Every foodie must visit this place even if it is cold nowadays.
Ambiance - 3 its a small outlet with an outdoor seating for 10 ppl. The parlor and the seating area are clean and hygienic.
Food- 4.5 . They offer a decent spread of ice creams and rabdi. The dishes taste nice and do have a hint of malai which provides a genuine home made feel.
The ice creams are served in bio friendly degradable cup. The rates are pocket friendly.
Service is prompt and the staff is really friendly.
I had glass if rabdi and gulkand/butterscotch ice cream both of which were good. The rabdi is a must have.
I have to admit that Mohan serves the best ice creams i have ever tasted at this price range. The quality of Ice creams will put all the premium ice cream brands to shame. If a small shop like Mohan can serve quality ice creams at this price range, i dont find any reason why such big brands charge a bomb for a small scoop. I can have this all day and at any time of the year since all the ice creams are natural and super cheap.
The texture of ice cream is different as they are made in earthen pots.. we tried Gulkand kulfi which was yummy & anjeer ice cream.. the taste is awesome & melts in mouth.. A good way to have satisfy your sweet tooth..
Tucked in the lane next to Shiv Sagar, this place has one of the most mouthwatering kulfis which you can get either on a candy stick or as a scoop in an eco friendly areca (supari leaves) bowl. I was indeed impressed and pleasantly surprised at their gesture of doing away with the styrofoam or plastic cups.

I have never heard about Mohan ice cream before but I would say it was a nice experience 😋. I parked a car on JM road and was just roaming, saw like 15 people around an ice cream shop called mohan. I was like ok, might be a family having kulfi. Then after hour or so I came back and saw again around 10 people eating an ice cream. As a foodie it was impossible for me to resist and decided ho have kulfi. I had a malai kulfi which was nice and big just for 25 rs. Not too sweet but soft and creamy, just the way I like. Total value for money. This rating is only based upon a single kulfi but will be visiting again and will upgrade this review.
A small place with a large fan following from all age groups. They have a different taste in their ice creams U can try it out once here. Had Chocochips, Roasted Almond and Gulkand here..

My Funda - Just Walk Eat Explore!
I am a skeptic person, and I have no shame in admitting it.
So when I saw that a place that is called Mohan Ice Cream having just a page menu has a 4.7 rating on Zomato I was at my skeptic best.
Nevertheless I still went there. Call it a gut feeling or my not so great experience at Café Goodluck.
But this place deserves all the rating that it can get. A very small shop with quaint surroundings near Shiv Sagar at JM Road, the ice cream is amazing.
I and my girlfriend had a scoop each of Choco Chips, Butterscotch, Anjir and Gulkand and they were all good to the point that I thought of having a Malai Kulfi but somehow controlled myself.
Overall Suggestion: This is a pocket friendly place and a must visit for all the ice-cream lovers!!
The best place I have been to have ice cream... I'm not a kulfi fan.. But I love the ice cream scoops here.. They are rich and tastes royal.. I had the anjeer ice cream.. My favourite on the list..

Looked up zomato for a nice ice cream place in Pune and found Mohan ice cream. My brother and I went to the parlour for a post-dinner dessert. Looking through the reviews we selected gulkand, roast almond and choco chips. The ice creams were mixed, Choco chips was fantastic while gulkand was too sweet. Roast almond was strictly ok. Price was 160 for 4 scoops.

One of the oldest ice cream parlour. In my childhood, this was started as kulfi cart in Sonya Maruti Chow In front of Nagarkar jewellery shop. Even my father used to have kulfi in his bachelor days.

They have a main outlet at Laxmi road. Both ice cream and kulfi are really good, their Gulkand flavoured icecream is better than others. Always crowded by Puneties.
Good variety/quality of ice cream and Kulfi’s served by Mohan Ice-cream. One of the most popular and common place for every Punekar.
Badam shake, anjeer, chocolate ice cream, gulkand ice cream, Kulfi’s etc is very tasty and mouth watering 😬.
Owner and other workers are very co-operative and polite. Service is also very fast, just one request to people visiting here please don’t gather near the counter as it becomes difficult for others to order and collect the ice cream/shake.

Excellent Anjir ice cream and super excellent black current ice cream. Earlier tasted was Faluda milk shake, very good, mango milk shake as well, little costly but value to money, excellent taste.
