This was my first visit here after it was recommended to me by my friend. I ordered a Bratwurst and a Chicken burger which was just lip-smacking. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves meat.
Food is just awesome. I really loved Donor and baked potatoes. Overall nice place to hangout. Value for money. Very friendly staff. Ambience could have been better but amazing food provides with the overall pleasent experience.

I had the Currywurst and Bratwurst at the Za Palooza fest! I could have easily packed for 2 days! Mind Blowingly yummy, great portion and served with a lot of enthusiasm! The team actually gave suggestions based on personal preferences despite being crowded and busy. love the gesture, am waiting for them to open so I can visit again and again!

Mahlzeit Cafe/restaurant is located at Lane no 6. It specializes in German-style food and is well known for its non-veg delicacies.
I ordered:-
Bratwurst:- Its a combo of Chicken Sausages garnished with caramelized onions, English mustard and a half with berlin style curry ketchup. The combo is accompanied by potato fries. The server told me that its an authentic dish in Germany and ate on a regular basis. The dish was less spicy rather a sweeter one.

Had read about this place on Adarsh Munjal insta page and was really looking forward to trying it. And I am glad I did.
What we ordered:
Classic Doner Kebab: Yummy and well stuffed. The naan bread was super and since it was toasted, it tasted even more delicious. The generous filling of grilled chicken, veggies, mayo made this one a top notch treat.
Beep Burger: The meat burger was well loaded, but a tad messy to eat. The fries and mayo dip were delish too!
It is a small joint and difficult to spot as its signage doesn't attract attention. Outdoor is the only seating arrangement they have and there's no decor as such. Service was good.
I would definitely want to have the Doner Kebab again and even try some other preps from their menu. Soon!

Saw an Instagram post of this place so decided to visit it. They have a small and simple outside seating arrangement. We visited here in Friday evening so it was quite empty. They have a wonderful variety in döner kebabs and burgers. Also the service here was very approachable.
What we had:
Paneer döner kebab: A döner kebab with fresh paneer chunks and mayonnaise. Can make a little bit spicy. 4.5/5
Chicken burger: This burger was served with fries which were not so good but the burger was hug and heavy also with a wonderful chicken tikki taste. 4.5/5

A small and cozy place in Lane 6 serving some really delicious food. Outdoor seating with just three tables, but the food makes up for everything. I'm a person who hates hot dogs, but the Chicken Hot Dog we ordered was absolutely delicious. Apart from that, we ordered the Chicken Döner which was decent too. The Döner is not served hot which makes it ideal for an afternoon snack on a hot day.

Mahlzeit is eatery that serves authentic German food. To begin with, the staff was welcoming and really attentive and helpful. The place is a tiny one with limited seating options, although the seating arrangement is cozy and comfortable.
What we had :
1) Chicken Doner : The Pocket was made out of Maida, real fresh, soft and delicious. The bread was stuffed with Chunks of chicken, 3 kinds of Salads, Sauces. Super delicious, healthy and heavy. Absolute heaven ! Highly recommended !
2) Chicken Hot dog : Chicken hot dog, jalapeño and a kind of sauce ( not able to remember the name ) between hot dog buns. Again, a delight !
3) We also tried Club Mate which is a caffeinated carbonated mate-extract beverage made by the Loscher Brewery in Germany. Totally different in taste than what we generally get out here in India. Something definitely worth trying !

If you ever happen to walk on the dimly lit lane 6 of KP, then don’t forget to try this authentic German café which serves Berlin street food. The taste of it will surely leave your taste buds dancing. I haven’t really tried German food earlier, this was my first-time experience and now I can confidently say that “I am a fan”.
The use of meat is very dominant in this part of the country but with the homemade style dips and sauces, every dish is enhanced in its taste.
They have a small outdoor seating arrangement, though the ambiance was not my concern, all I was concerned was to try out some good Berlin street food and I am glad that the food did live up to my expectation.
We started off with BratKartoffeln, now I am one die-hard potato fan, and the combination of butter fried potatoes with homemade mayonnaise can never go wrong! It was seasoned with black pepper, chili, and caramelized onion. Though it was slightly on the oily side, the taste was amazing.
Then we went on to try Oma Hedwigs Potato Salad which was a mayonnaise-based German style potato salad (we were told that the word oma means grandmom in German) hence this is grandmom’s recipe passed over two generations.
Next on the list was their currywurst and bratwurst mix. This was something which I was quite excited about as we were served with grilled German sausages with caramelized onions, mustard, and fries. We were told that this is of the authentic dishes in Germany and many people prefer this dish on a daily basis.
Also, we tried their classic doner kebab, it was a bread filled with grilled chicken just like your shawarma but something which you simply can’t resist if you are a chicken lover!
Lastly, we had the Schnitzel served with German-style potato salad and dips were too good to miss.
Overall we really enjoyed our dining experience here and this is one place which everyone should try, you may or may not be a “German food” lover but I guarantee that you will become one after trying out this place.

Probably the best place to get an authentic German experience. The sausages they serve are imported and authentic as compared to other place which tend to serve processed frozen sausages. The preparations are great in general too. Would totally recommend trying this. Book using Eatigo to get discounts. Zomato Gold is available too. Would definitely visit again.
Looks like just another street joint among the eat streets of Koregaon Park. Yet, Mahlzeit stands out with a unique cuisine. There definitely is a good effort to replicate the German cuisine. Though the dishes do not totally taste like they must, yet this is a go to place for anyone looking for a change.

So decided to try this place as the cuisine is very unusual. Never tried German food before. We ordered for Döner Kebab and Bauernfrühstück. Names are really difficult to pronounce but the food was really good. Especially Bauernfrühstück with half fried eggs on top. They also serve fruit juices which are preservatives free and beer that's alcohol free! So, do try it. M sure it will be enjoyable for everyone.
This place was highly recommended to me and this did not disappoint. You get authentic German food here, some with a bit of Indian twist, but they make sure everything here is absolutely yum.
The Burger here is cooked to perfection and that is what I was here for. The doner, schnitzel, sausages and club mate is something you should definitely try.

Well to understand the authenticity you need to have a German buddy along with you or someone who has tasted food on the streets of Germany. Luckily I visited with my husband who has tried and tasted German cuisine right on their streets a lot of times during his work visits to Germany.
It is he who always praises and rants about their authentic Doner sandwiches and hence we hopped into this small cafe on a not so crowded weekday evening.
It's an open to air seating with barely 4-5 tables with high and low seating options and a pretty decent ambiance!
A quick glance over the menu pages and we ordered Chicken Schnitzel ( slice of chicken flattened thinly and coated in breadcrumbs and fried), a Quadruple schnitzel burger, a doner sandwich (doner meaning meat or kebabs cooked on vertical rotisserie) and cafe mate viz; a highly caffeinated drink.
#Food-
•The schnitzel- exactly as the Germans do. Moderate levels of pepper and salt coated with breadcrumbs and fried till crispy. These were 2 huge pieces that came along with potato and egg salad made with yogurt. The combination of these two is to die for. Loved it. 👍
•The Doner sandwich- bread pockets were filled with chicken doner kebabs and veggies however these could be more stuffed as they are made originally. I appreciate the way it was served, definitely better than the Germans 😅 They had served it vertically on tissue paper holder to avoid any spillage.
The taste was great too and yes most importantly everythkng used was fresh. 👍
•Quadruple schnitzel burger- Quadruple refers to the layers. We received 2pieces of chicken schnitzels in the bun along with cheese slice. Tasted good. However burgers here can go for a skip.
The food quality of every preparation was remarkable and that justifies the price for it.
•Cafe mate- neither a beer nor a good energy drink can be skipped totally.
#Hospitality/Service - It's a small cafe operated by the staff. There was just one guy the other day who was multi tasking. He was undertaking the role of pageboy, server, cleaner as well as handling the billing counter. The burden of multi tasking had however taken away all the smile from his face. The service however was quick and efficienct.
Considering the enticing food and vibrant ambiance it's a good place to hangout with a small group of buddies. Zomato Gold listing definitely adds some brownie points. 😊
The food options and preparations definitely succeed in delivering German vibes. 👍✌

About the food, taste was very nice of both veg and non vef1. Where I don't eat non veg but you can consider this review from my friend as well.
Best items out of what we had was the chicken doner. All other items stood up to expectations. The bratwurst and bacon sides are a must. Schnitzel is just above average, and is best enjoyed with the hot version of the cold potatoes they serve. Hot dogs here are closest match to the real ones in Europe. Avoid the peach tea. Get a coke instead.

The food was good. Haven't been to Germany, so can't comment on the authenticity but it tastes really different and by different means good different. I had schnitzel with kartoffel (Potato) salad, both tasted better than regular Indian or Arabic salad
Moreover, we also had Club-Mate drink and they say it's a lemonade but it doesn't feel like one. First sip was yukk, but slowly I have developed it's taste and with schnitzel it tastes really good.

Excellent place to relax and fill your tummy. Very different concept of interiors. They had couple of stools and trunks as tables, which I liked it. It kinda gave a vintage or can say rusty look. This place is so small and cute that's it's almost hidden from the public eye. The taste of the food is nothing to write home about. But the overall presentation of the food, the accompaniments (super crispy, hot fries on a rainy day!!) and the friendly nature of the staff makes this place a must visit.
So decided to try this place as the cuisine is very unusual. Never tried German food before. We ordered for Döner Kebab and Bauernfrühstück. Names are really difficult to pronounce but the food was really good. Especially Bauernfrühstück with half fried eggs on top. They also serve fruit juices which are preservatives free and beer that's alcohol free! So, do try it. M sure it is enjoyable.
This place is like no other. Perfect German food. I've been here twice and already loving the place. Your first impression might be that it's not very pocket friendly but what you order will be able to satiate you for sure.
Probably the best place to get an authentic German experience. The sausages they serve are imported and authentic as compared to other place which tend to serve processed frozen sausages. The preparations are great in general too. Would totally recommend trying this. Book using Eatigo to get discounts. Zomato Gold is available too. Would definitely visit again.
Nice little spot for a snack. We tried the german sausage hot dog which is to die for!! Also tried the schnitzel which was a bit of a disappointment (the breadcrumbs were too big - not the usual European, which is understandable given we’re in India) and there was way too much pepper on it.
Will definitely come back for the hotdogs though :)
