Went here with my office team. Good place to have nice veg food in Kothrud. Its a simple restaurant with a very simple ambience, but the service and food is very good. Try Kaju Curry and a Pineapple raita.
Nice place and test of food is good. Staff should be proactive as sometime they are confused with order and bill. But must try they have testy food... I like it and ordered food multiple times
We went here yesterday at 11 p.m. The staff is very nice and the ambiance in the evening is very pretty. I loved how they took care of orders and brought them on time.

Feels great dining outside..however, its not enjoyable in every weather. Also, the restaurant is on main karve road. So, there is lot of vehicle noise...However, in current weather, it has different experience than usual dining inside the restaurant.
The food is tasty (veg). But if you like spicy food..then this is not a good place for you. We ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Naan and Kashmiri Pulao. The PBM had the same taste as everywhere. The kashmiri pulao was tasty.
The service is kind of slow. Even if the place was not crowded. It took long time to get our meal on the table. The other issue is parking. Its not easily available.

This place is right next to Kothrud McDonalds and can be seen from main road on a vehicle. Strictly vegetarian 💚 place.
⏩ Ambiance: Huge space, outdoor seating, plastic chairs and tables are in 3 sizes. Largest has 6 people capacity.
⏩ Food: I had an all South Indian breakfast. Onion Uthappam, Paper Masala dosa, Butter Idli, Medu Wade.
😋 Paper Masala dosa is eye catching dish. All the items were very tasty.
🍩 Medu wada was spongy and very less oily.
🍥 Onion Uthappam had onions finely chopped and was a little spicy.
All the items were served with Green chutney and Sambar.
⏩ Service: Very slow. Could be the reason it was early morning and they were just warming up 😬
⏩ Staff: No communication at all. This is one of the place where the waiters/captains/saheb are totally chilled and laid back. They pretty much operate at their own pace.
It's one of the oldest restaurant in this locality. Nice place to chat and eat some tasty food after your morning workouts.
I have my every afternoon coffee at this place. One of the best hang out places in kothrud. They also serve a decent paneer tikka masala which I am fan of. But oh the veg club grilled sandwich, the best in town for the price range.

Visited on Sunday. They have a unlimited breakfast menu from Monday to Saturday for 130₹ flat per person. However the menu for breakfast is fixed for each day. I have attached the pic of special unlimited breakfast menu here. Do check it out before visiting this place for bf. Unfortunately as i had visited on a Sunday, this unlimited bf was not available.
Location- Prime spot on Karve road, near McDonalds, Pune.
Parking :- 2wheeler parking is available in front of resto on road side, no dedicated parking. Also car parking is not available separately. You can park nearby on roadside.
Ambience :- As i visited on a rainy day, the morning was beautiful and cold. We sat outside, the place has trees and was covered by tent sheets. Averagely crowded.
Service :- Immediately upon taking our seats, we were attended by the captain who took our orders. Service was fast and good.
Order :- We gave our breakfast orders of Amboli, Thali peeth, poha and upma. And then Special tea with butter toast.
Food :- Amboli was good with 2 types of chutni, potato bhaji and 1 sambar wati.
Thali peeth had 2 medium sized thali peeths accompanied by curd. Taste was good.
Poha and upma had good quantity. They were accompanied by coconut chatni. Tastewise very good. Little sweet though.
Tea was served in a glass. A little too sweet. Toast butter has 6 cut slices. Again awesome taste.
All this cost us 500₹.
Overall good food and good service. However a bit costly. Would recommend though. However if you are going to visit in a car, just hope to get a spot near the resto or you will end up parking far from resto.

One of the oldest restaurant in neighbourhood serving good breakfast and consistent in quality and quantity. Plus this restaurant has its own speciality. Most of the time I've seen same crowd sitting on the same spot as if it's their weekend khatta or something. Kimaya has become the weekend meet up spot for the lots of people.
Fresh, peaceful ambiance, Open seating arrangement you can't expect more to start a perfect weekend. One more thing is constant here is service, even if they have 7-8 workers nobody comes to your table. You have to call captain for 4-5 times, first he will ignore you on your face then he will think and then साहेब will come and take you're order. Otherwise you'll see them chattering somewhere in the corner. First time I was irritated with this but this didn't change and now I made my peace with it. They didn't care, they don't care and they won't care. Welcome to Pune
Anyways coming to the food, I've tried so many things here but the one thing which I would like to point out here is the humongous monstrous paper sada dosa. Check the picture for more and exact thing. I always like to try the paper dosa for breakfast if it's available on the menu. As most of the time it's crispy and huge. It's not possible for a person like me to eat whole dosa all by myself so I had to share it with my friend. It's the best paper dosa in the neighbourhood. All other items are okayish, tried hot chocolate which wasn't that good. Medu wada was also among the best things they serve. Not oily but crispy and soft. Sambar they serve is thick and chutney is also good.
Do visit this place to try their paper dosa. It must be the favourite weekend breakfast spot for the most of the peo people who lives in kothrud area
We visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch. We ordered mini lunch and pav bhaji. Mini lunch was tasty and quantity was good. Pavbhaji was less spicy but i liked it. Overall a good restaurant to visit!!
This place is good for breakfast. You get a good variety of dosas including Rava dosa and Neer dosa which I found quite good. We had also tried mini south Indian combo breakfast and it was pretty filling. Haven't tried Punjabi food here and reviews also suggest against it.

A staple udupi restaurant that has really friendly staff. Outdoor sitting is their usp. Good for snacks and catching up with friends. Food is ok ok. If you want to spend good time with friends go here

This is a regular hangout and serves some good regular dishes.
Some of the popular dishes which I have preferred over years is the idling wada sambar, medu wada rassam, Cheese chilli toast and the juices.
A nice outdoor ambience under large trees is a beautiful place for a nice cup of coffee...
A decent place for quick catch ups. Udupi style idli and dosas special with coffee sounds a good deal here. People also go for pav bhaji or proper punjabi. Juices ar good too.Not a lavish place but a good clean restaurant by the roadside. They have closed the upper section for public.

The best part about this restaurant is its location and space...located in one of the busiest area in Pune...it still manages to accommodate spacious garden seating...the food is good...and service prompt...
The best thing about this place is the space they have. It has got such a great table arrangements that it adds a feeling of completeness. Food quality is really moderate. We tried veg chilly milly, veg kolhapuri and many punjabi food and every dish was appreciable. This restaurant offers one more thing that very less such big restaurants offer and that is half/full dish option in all its sabji menu. So it really helps in some situations. Open sitting under the shadow of a big big tree is really relaxing and cool. High rating is for the space and convenience.
Good food and value for money. Pav-bhaji is good and so is the black tea. Service is pretty fast. They have a very BIG net which prevents falling leaves dropping into your plates. Thoughtful that. Located conveniently on main Karve road but easy to find parking.

This place has been around for quite some time now. My favorite has been their pav bhaji, the taste of which, I think hasn't changed at all in all this time. It's well flavoured and spicy. Also their mushroom pizza, which is has oodles of cheese, is not bad at all
I have been here a lot many times ..actually have organised a family function in the banquet hall these guys have ... The quality of the food is supreme ...some menu items are a bit overpriced though... This place is always kept clean ... The staff here is quite good but at times you have to wait for quite sometime after placing an order... Overall it is a good place to have your dinner ... Cheers !!

One of the great restaurants in kothrud area for vegetarian food. The service is good and the ambience is also great as they have seating arrangement outside with all the trees surrounding.
The visit to this restaurant was unplanned, but it turned out to be a delectable experience! Had Malai Kofta which was way too sweet and Veg Chilli Milli which just like it's name, had a different sour and spicy taste. The service and open seating area are excellent.
Very tasty food out here, you order anything and it is on your table in minutes. All grades positively marked for the main parameters!
The only improvement pointer that I suggest is that they need to change their chairs!
The chairs are low and tables are high, becomes difficult to eat. Plus they are quite old and out of trend.

Kimaya has been like a heartbeat to the people of Pune and especially Kothrudkars! The simple aesthetics, open ambience and food that is loved by every Maharashtrian are some of the things that makes Kimaya so precious! I recently visited there for Bhaji festival that it was so damn perfect! Monsoon days, garam chai and a platter that had so much to choose from! Visiting super soon to try more of their signature dishes! 😍
The pav bhaji is amazing. Overall, this restaurant offers very tasty food.
Good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We visited on Wednesday and there was no rush. Had a good time with family. I had Khada Pav Bhaji and it was very good, different from the traditional one and tasted awesome. Veg pizza was thin crust and very cheesy and tasty.
Our love ❤️ affair with KIMAYA goes a long way .. my Son was 4 year old back then and today he is 25 YO and loves the idea of having food at that place even today… every time we go to India 🇮🇳 he asks me … would you be visiting KIMAYA ?? Please send me photos .. he does not visit India 🇮🇳 that often … him .. as a matter of fact our entire family is a biggg fan… I was Hotel 🏨 Vaishali bhakt being ex BMCC .. but over the years every visit of mine to India 🇮🇳… I visit KIMAYA at least two to three times .. love the food …. Can’t beat their Paav Bhaji … yum 😋

Great veg restaurant with lot of variety of food options. Visited here with family for lunch. Nice and tasty food including soup, Chinese starters, Panjabi main course and snacks too. Icecream was a great desert choice. Clean place, good and fast service and courteous staff was great experience for us.
