Amazing food !! Definitely a must visit Hinjewadi.. It truly reflects its name...homely meals !
Thanks guys for the delicious food :)
Must try their paneer tikka, tandoori roti n lassi!
Very nice food and good environment. Very nice people
Great Ambience, Delicious Food, Fast Delivery... Truely lives upto its name :)
If you live in a PG and want to have food that tastes like home, this is your place. The food is not that spicy that would effect you the next day and it just feel like home especially the rotis. I just loved this place.
Thank you.
Well i order online from here , the authenticity of food is very great. Love it. The quantity and quality of food is justified
This place rightly justifies it's name. If you're craving for some "Ghar Ka Khana", try it out.
PACKAGING: 3/5
The packaging was decent, they should've packed the papad inside the box or a bag and not just put it in the delivery bag open. Could be improved.
DELIVERY: 1/5
Foodpanda sucks in service. Although I won't deduct points as restaurant don't deliver it themselves.
FOOD: 3.5/5
I ordered a thali which consisted of a dry aloo gobhi sabzi, kadhi pakoda, chapatis, rice, raita, papad and salad.I liked the taste of all of the items, especially the dry sabzi. Both were delicious, when I say that I mean it tasted like home cooked sabzi made by mom, wholesome, tasty and not overly spicy or flavourful. The Chapatis got slightly dry due to the delay in delivery but were good in size and taste, not burnt or undercooked. The kadhi pakoda was good too, the pakodas went well with the thick Kadhi and had a lot of flavours. The kadhi wasn't sour which was a good thing. The raita and rice were decent too. The quantity is sufficient for one person. For the price, I think they should add a sweet and give better rice/jeera rice and paneer gravy. If they do that, the thali is totally worth the price.
VALUE FOR MONEY: 4/5
The place serves tasty food at decent prices, a little improvement here and there in terms of quality of ingredients used/quantity etc. would make it even better.
I am amazed to see the feedbacks. Looks like people use Zomato for negative reviews mostly. I have been visiting this restaurant since last four years and it's a great home like food with quality and hygiene. People who eat in so called premium places with low lights restaurants in the night and pay triple the amount without any hesitation don't care about hygiene there and write this kind of review here for such a pocket friendly good food.
A very popular joint in the area and the food was fresh and tasty. Tried the ultimate deal thali and It was sufficient for one people. The service was quick and the pricing is so economical..
The food very delicious. Keep the same taste good job
Zomato service was very bad
orderd - party combo
quantity was lil bit less .taste was okish
lot of scope if improvement
This place is a testimony that you need not be a flashy, jazzy outlet to serve delicious food and experience to your customers. The food served is fresh and ALMOST home-like. No wonder it's highly famous with the office goers in Hinjewadi.
We had all of the following dishes and each of them was equally good:- Rajma Masala- All kinds of paratha- Butter Chicken- Egg Bhurji- Chicken & Veg Biryani- Plain paratha- Tawa Roti
My review:
Ambiance - 3/5
Food - 4.5/5
Service - 3/5
Value for money - 5/5
Overall - 4/5
Yes, the place is not air-conditioned and has basic seating arrangements, service is not that of a restaurant -Β but if you are looking for TASTE over anything else, head straight to Ghar Ka Khana.
got food delivered from this place, their chicken was nice but their paneer was an absolute delight.
loved their preparation and the fact that their food is not that spicy which I really appreciate.
food .. actually tastes like home .
quality of rice an dal ..need some improvement
delivery was very very late ...almost took 1:30 min to deliver ....even tho the restuarant is just 100 meter away from my location
Food is very tasty and awesome. U can go with your frnds and family.try paneer Punjabi, kolhapuri,Masala papad roasted, curd, gulab jamun, green salad.
Paneer punjabi was good in taste ,worth money ..
Overall food was good , price of food items are pocket freindly ,parcel packing is good , keep it up ......
Food is too tasty in ghar Ka khana and I will suggest to all my family members to visit over there... And it was like homely food and service was great and mango lassi was too yummy
Delicious food + Great Service... & Most of all-Value for money.
A home away from home.......
Aur kya chahiye bhai !!!!!!
Keep it up GKK.. ππ
The last place which i mandatorily visit after every weekend trip! Best north indian food at the best price! Combo varieties r v nice.must try -Paan shot
Always had a look into this place while passing. The initials GKK. People like visiting this place.
The place is decent, has parking. Veg and non veg kitchens are separate and service is fast.
The food is no special but tasty enough to cool down your hunger.
The briyani was good, other greay and dishes tasted average.
Can visit for a casual dining.
A decent and a pocket friendly restaurant to have tasty and quality food.
Positives : Fast service, Good food quality and adequate quantity
Negatives: Not that great ambience
Only went in there once.. Good food considering the price range.. but waiting time was a little bit long . Waiting for another trip to say more on this
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It's near where I work and I met a friend for dinner. We split Chilly paneer, Chicken Seekh Kebab and Butter Chicken.
It was very very tasty. The service was good, very polite. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, especially for the location!
They are very old outlet and delivers food in very quick time. Food is good. Not really traditional north food nor it is home food. But yes their food is good.
Yesterday order online chicken biryani, small is more then sufficient for one person , had good pieces also.
Only concern I found the packaging and time took to deliver it, it took almost more then 1 hour to deliver biryani even we are just 2 km away.
Also curd and Currey is not sufficient as per order.
But taste of biryani will definitely not let you feel those legs
Awesome taste
Decent food, those days when you want to have light food and don't want to spend too much. This kind of restaurant you would get in every area of india you go in....
Ghar ka Khana is a very good option for those who want to have decent meal without spending too much. I have tried their thali few times and it's been good on all occasions. The food is fresh and the menu had a lot of variety as well. A cost effective yet good place to visit.
I think, now is a good time I should review "Ghar ka Khana". Reason being, I've seen the restaurant grow for the past 7 years. Earlier it was just a small room with a tin shed. Then it became a bit large area with asbestos shed & a few coolers. During this time, it was sort of self service, unless you were a big group. With the passage of time, it has grown bigger with good facilities, staff (& of course they have waiters now !!!!). ALSO, they have started serving Non-vegeterian food now.
Directly coming to the food, following are the things I generally eat & have eaten till now:
1) Chole Bhature: Two huge bhaturas with chole. Bhaturas are quite good. Chole not so much, there should be more spices to it; it felt very blant to my taste.
2) Mutter Paneer-Daal Makhani combo: It comes with 2 chapatis/ rotis. I prefer chapatis/ phulkas. The mutter paneer is quite good, but the daal makhani needs more improvement. It should be more thicker & more rich.
3) Shahi Paneer- Daal Makhani combo: Again comes with 2 chapatis/phulkas/rotis. The Shahi paneer is good, on the sour side, but quite nice.
4) Mix veg paratha: Signature dish of this restaurant. Not as good some other paratha joints, but good enough to satisfy your taste buds & your hunger. It comes with a good chunk of butter & curd.
5) Aloo paratha: again it's good enough to satisfy you.
6) Soya Chaap: It's pretty good dish (actually an innovative dish). Grilled & served with salads.
I've tried the non-veg also, but they are not good at all; it needs to improve on a large scale. Better, I would suggest, stick to being a vegetarian restaurant.
Last but not the least, I would like to mention the shahi patiyala lassi... It's huge... it's yummy... It's delicious... It's satisfying...Suggestion: serve it in a "non plastic glass"...
Good food.
Good time with frieds for dinner and lunch.
Varieties of food good taste.
Butter milk is good.
Ghar ka khana is good and in budget.
Food is good at this place.
Have tried many times visiting here. If ambience here is developed, many IT people will be preferring this place.
Ambience is average just like a canteen and not that of any restaurant.
Coming to the food part, the name of the restaurant perfectly defines their food. It tastes like home food. Food is hygienic and they have separate kitchens to cook veg and non veg food which makes it even more hygienic.
No compromise on taste. Food is very good and value for money. I have tasted panner chilli, veg crispy, chole bature, roti and some paneer gravy(which I don't remember now :-p). Quantity, quality and taste everything was just perfect. If ambiance doesn't matter to you and all that matters is good food, then do give it a try. Saurabh Mishra
Ghar ka khana, as per the nane the taste of the food was not like home. But a good healthy taste. Right from starters to food. I loved the quality... Ambience was ok. Must try
Ghar ka khana as the name suggests, the food tastes same as Ghar ka khana, chapattis they serve is like too good which I miss at other restaurants.
Food tastes good , have ordered multiple times from here and would love to order again.
lip smacking food with okay ambience. Quick service and the staff is cordial. Worth a try if you are looking for good food at a reasonable price.
Food-4/5
Ambience-3.5/5

Ghar ka khana...As the name says, it really tastes likes it...Ordered aloo Heera, phulka, masala fry papad and cheese garlic naan...I must say aloo Heera was so damn perfect, loved the taste, proper amount of jeera and aloo were perfectly fried...It tasted so yumm. Cheese garlic naan was also delicious served with green pudina chutney...It's pocket friendly place...It gives u a very homely feeling... Especially for vegetarians, they separate kitchens for veg and non- veg...Therefore, if u r hungry and wanna don't spend much and also wanna have home food, visit GHAR KA KHANA..
Literally ghar ka khaana. They stand up to their name a home away from home. Their food isn't much spicy and their quality is upto mark. The kind of food which can you have daily. A perfect place for daily goers. Value for money. Have tried their wakad outlet too must tried their chole Bathure. Though I find hinjewadi outlet is more clean than wakad and pimple saudagar one. They have separate kitchen for veg and non veg.
A pocket friendly restaurant.

#GharKaKhana - It's never an easy job to replicate home cooked food for nostalgic people, far away from their homes, especially the bachelorettes and bachelors who need a whisk of their favorites, once in a week!
Located at multiple areas within Pune, I've had the opportunity of dining here on occasions, when my night rider colleague yearns for a spicy biryani and lots of meat! #MasqueradeWithTheMeat
Like majority of the #Bengalis, he loves his chicken and enjoys just the right sorta spice in his dishes. Having a #foodgasmic friend like himself does work to my advantage, considering that my chances of gorging onto some delicacies increased manifold. #OneStone2Birds
Also, #GharKaKhana has always been kind to us, in terms of their inviting nature and availability of seats on days, closer to the weekend. All the other restaurants, just seem overcrowded and a tad overpriced too! #AdvantageGKK
Not too high on the interiors and aesthetics meter, GKK has over 15+ long sized marblesque tables, with just comfy plastics chairs. Water and yogurt-based drinks are served in steel glasses, for the traditional Indian home feeling. #Hygiene could be questionable.
Couple of dishes that are favorties here and have a good consumption ratio are:
Boneless Chicken Dum Biriyani: The goodness of chicken, Indian spices, long grain basmati rice and extra condiments, cooked in the 'dum,' a.k.a the cooking pot sealed with dough to ensure a burst of flavored in every morsel
Chilly Chicken Dry: The Indian cousin of the original Oriental delight, cooked in soy sauce, with curry leaves, capsicum, onions and green chillies for company. The chicken meat is semi-cooked and sautΓ©ed with the rest of the ingredients and serve as an awesome starter
Dilli Chhole Bhature: People say, if one digs into a plate of Chhole Bhature during peak hours of the day, all crimes go unnoticed. Jokes apart, this Dilli style chickpea gravy with puffed maida bread (Bhature) is an absolute delight. Quite heavy though!
Special Veg Thali: The best wholesome dish which can be consumed almost daily. A decent presentation of rice, lentils, chapati, goulash/dry vegetables, salad and a sweet dish for all your daily dietary needs. Top that with a serving of salted yogurt or buttermilk and everything feels, oh so right! The vegetable is updated on a daily basis, so expect some cottage cheese and soya bean, whenever prepared!
Rajma Chawal: Red kidney beans in gravy with long grain white rice, with saturated butter as a topping. #FeelsLikeHeaven The #yogurtgravy Kadi Pakora (fritters) is another extremely tasty combination
The accompaniments of #saloona (spicy and thick capsicum gravy) and spiced buttermilk are amazing. The onion salad served with lemon wedges are desired, especially while munching onto the spicy fare.
All-in-all, a good, within budget hotel to visit and indulge in the various dishes on offer. Do give the mutton biryani a try too. I've heard it is delicious.
Ghar Ka Khana, isn't a chip off the old block. It's a responsive answer for the techie crowd, with cravings for home cooked food. It's a decent attempt, to get the crowd into a huddle and serve them the right kind of food required.
Let's say, ' Ghar ki baat kuch aur hai, par Ghar Ka Khana pyaar parosne ki koshish zarur karti hai!'
Translation: There's something distinct about a home cooked meal, however 'Ghar Ka Khana' attempts to spread warmth through its honest intents.
Eat swell, dwell into your thoughts and enjoy! That's what really matters. #Cheers to #GoodFood!
Ghar ka khaana is saviour in hinjewadi.Think of mom made fulka chaach and sabzi this is the place..This place has separate kitchen for veg and non veg..The food is very homely and value for money. Not very fancy but it will lead your taste buds satisfied.
Good place for vegetarian foodies.. Regularly visiting here for lunch. Service is good, food is tasty and pocket friendly.. Must visit with friends and family.

My experience with this restaurant has always been amazing.. this time I had ordered malai chaap , tandoori mushroom which has perfect blend of spices and properly cooked.. but what came to me as a surprise was mango lassi and paan shot(highly recommended).. Dal tadka tastes well as home cooked food.. I would recommend this restaurant
Awesome place if u are feeling nostalgic about homemade food. Yes GKK will definitely remind u the taste of homemade food.phulka, Missi roti , butter milk and sarso da saag are thr signature delicacies.
Strongly recommend..
As the name suggests it's ghar ka khana... their Thalis are a must try...simple food combinations but the taste is really good...love the combination of simplicity and taste...
Vegetarians will love this place coz they have separate kitchens for veg and non veg.
Good food at cheap prices....as the name its basic variety of foods that you would find at any local restaurants...ambience is very local like, but you dont have to pay the price like some fancy big restaurants...it doesnt have any ac section..but if u r low on cash..then this is where u need to go...
Looks great from outside, but don't expect any good ambiance inside. The good thing is that you will really find ghar ka khana. The prices are mostly pocket friendly. I was looking for something at around 11 in the night through the lone streets of hinjewadi and luckily this place came to our rescue.Β
The lahsooni daal was good and the butter was good for the price. Masala papad was okay.
We ordered dry chicken which was was good but a little pricey for 4 pieces (200).
Overall a good place to find pocket friendly ghar ka khana :)

Another visit to a restaurant in the hinjewadi phase 2 main road where u can get good food....
Located at a very good location to track...
Eventually there is no ambience that u can enjoy its a kind of modern Dhaba from inside no AC but have put many coolers to cool down the place....
Staff and service is OK...
One good thing is that they have two separate kitchens one for only veg and other for non veg which many people may like..
Coming to the food all the dishes have a flavour of Delhi and like that it may be starters or main course...
I brought phulka bhendi masala and veg pulau in veg and ch in Chicken lollypop gravy and chicken manchurian in non veg....
The best was the veg pulau it has really awesome taste the ingredients were perfectly cooked it may be the rice or the veggies or the panneer and to complement that there was dahi boondi πππ
The phulkas were good and with the bhendi Masala it suits the taste buds whereas the chicken lollypop gravy was also yummy with a good amount of chicken pieces and the gravy was also properly balanced. The manchurian was also yummy and the good thing is that all the foods were not that spicy that I was expecting here.
You can get all sort of chaap (kind of veg tikka's made with a combination of soyabin and other veggies ) and also all sort of lassi and sweets.
Always recommend....
Sometimes while working late I have ordered dinner from here as this place is near to my office. They generally deliver within an hour and their packaging is standard. So far I have tried paneer butter masala with tandoori roti, mushroom do pyaaza, paneer pyaaz parantha and aloo-paneer parantha. The food is generally decent and their quality control is fine. I remember their paranthas being quite big with sufficient stuffing. I liked paneer pyaaz parantha more than the other. Although not a big fan of mushrooms but I found this dish OK. Paneer butter masala was really good and decently spicy with adequate paneer cubes in rich, thick and aromatic gravy. Their rotis are tender and taste fresh. I have always enjoyed food from here. Hope to eat from here soon!
Dont expect ambiance.Just go by its name. If you are craving literally for some Ghar ka khana , then this is the place. Pocket friendly. The thali here is really plain and simple. No extra spices , just a normal home meal. The lussy is really thick and yummy.I did try their other dishes also like makhani chap , butter chicken. They tasted really good.
Have ordered food thrice from this place.. its been fantastic on 2 occasions and something went horribly wrong on the 3rd time I ordered from here.. So the rotis are nice and give you a homely feeling.. Paneer dishes are lip smacking as well specially palak paneer.. I did not like thier chicken dishes though..
Ordered lunch from this place in office.
The quantity served was like huuuge.. good quality and the best part was it just tasted as it u eating at ur home. Name justified..
The food is tasty. It's good on pocket. It's more of a canteen type. They have seperate kitchens for veg and non veg. My veg friends will now be more happy :-)π
Super delicious food with on time delivery. .. just love their pocket friendly meals. .. non veg cuisines are even more tasty than what you get in delhi....
This restaurant is located near to the mcdonalds. Had tasted the murg reshmi kabab and chicken biryani bone less. Being a Hyderabadi, I personally didnt like the taste but it was a typical biryani available outside Hyderabad. The chicken pieces were well cooked. The ambience was good. The kebabs were also good. Service was nice. Pricing was also affordable considering area like HInjewadi.Β

Best Punjabi Food restaurant in Hinjewadi. Do try butter chicken and Mango Lassi. It really does justice to its name as you can eat here everyday.
Very much satisfied with the service and food as well. I liked there taste of dish they serve in non-veg. I am a Hardcore lover of Non-Veg, so every time we been here, we ordered different dishes in Chicken. They didn't serve you in plastic plates like you can observe it in every restaurant. As name goes Ghar ka Khana they eventually provide you steel plates and that is the difference make me to give the ratings, off-course taste is also mind blowing, rates are pocket friendly. Must visit.
Just visited this outlet last week. The parathas are very good. Just the ambience needs to improve a little bit. The food is really tasty. Beat part is that the veg and non veg kitchens are separately located. This is comforting for the vegetarians. I would definitely recommend this place as its something different.
Never visited this place but had ordered for a home delivery their thangdi kabab is awesome even the royal meal veg was good really a ghar ka khana very less of oil especially after eating I really missed my home as staying away from home and every day eating and trying all the restaurant in hinjewadi really guys just try for once keep it up GKK

Located in the phase 2 road, opposite to the Mindtree campus is GKK with a small entrance.Ambience wise the place is quite ordinary but the staff here are really pleasent and friendly.Coming to the food,I have had a few parathas of which panner pyaaz was the best.I also had the egg masala which was nothing but an normal egg curry you find everywhere. They also have this diet meal in which you can choose a vegetable dish as well as a dal dish along with rice or roti or paratha. The sides in the diet meal are of ample quantity for one to finish of the rotis or rice served along and can come in handy especially during month ends ;)
authentic parathas served with dahi... lives upto its name : ghar ka klhaana.. filling parathas .. try the lassi as well.. location is good.. crowded most of the time.. ambience is great. .for people in hinjewadi. .a must try
Perfect place to order food never dined in but ordered food. Actually a home food and whole family enjoyed alot. Everyone should try it at least once
Good food, closest one can get to home cooked at reasonable price
Not great ambience but hell who cares about it for day to day food. Try and you won't be disappointed
I went there for the first time with my family. On a starting note, we ordered Shikanji with Masala which was sweet, so asked the waiter to add more masala and they obliged. Then, we went for the main course, asked for the special Veg dishes and they told us to try Paneer Punjabi. We also ordered Mushroom 2 Pyaza after confirming it will be fresh.
Both the dishes were good, less oily and medium spicy. The Naan and fulka were fresh and hot. Will definitely try the Non-veg too and hope it does not disappoint.

First restaurant to try out in Pune.. And I'm not at all disappointed... It serves food which is actually like ghar ka khana.. Quantity and quality both are equally good..π Only few vegetarian dishes need improvement... Otherwise service is nice π
It is great Quality food..........an............
service is Excellent........................
GKK its like Home...........................................
GOOD FOOD.
Great quality.
NICE. Service
Really. Enjoy. The food served at Ghar k Khana.

Great ambience and service. The quality of non vegetarian food is commendable.
Also, must try the platter snacks. Very reasonable yet amazing food.
Gud service better quality and awesome food..!
Ghar ka khana is a gr8 place to have food.
Really feels like ghar ka khana for people missing food away from home.
Best food quality and taste. Good and quick service. Customer preference is given first priority and thus food is customized to a certain extent to match the desire of the customers. Awesome Food
Very nice little place. Good Food. Ambiance is okay. We ordered Crispy Bhindi, Daal, Garlic Naan, Phulka, etc. And it was good. Food is not at all expensive and yet very tasty.
I really recommend this place for all veg lovers.
-Good food
-Ambience is ok
-Place is good for casual dining, not recommended for any occasion or so.
Like the name it taste same as homemade food, best part is the hot Phulka and the lassi, Service is good though but quite slow even if there are not much customers.
Truly homely food. Worth trying here. Thali and paratha must be tried. Service is also prompt. It has become a little expensive though. But it is cheaper than other places.
Good food quality. Great north Indian taste. Ambience and hygiene could have been better
Overpriced but the 3rd best vegetarian place after ishaan and vandana. Also I noticed that the menu was always priced higher in the online apps when compared to what they have on paper
Awesome, economical place for veg food..Ambience is ordinary but tast of food will make you forget that.
A decent restaurant at DC. Food is good compared to what we get in DC. Cost wise, it is a little less as compared. Restaurant looks kinda shabby.
Home-like food but very poor service. But do visit if comfortable with delayed service.
They really have some good dishes. Sarso ka saag and makke di roti is must here.
Food is good here ,so is the place
Affordable !
All dishes are done well..curd rice is as well made with equal attention
